now that trump has tiktok, twitter, facebook and insta in his pocket, get ready for a massive wave of internet censorship. one of trump's greatest weapons has always been misinformation; it's going to become harder and harder to spread facts and criticism going forward. posts that aren't made invisible will be magically ignored by the algorithm. dissidents will have their accounts deleted and voices erased.

this is a suppression tactic. this is another stage of fascism.

Just made myself so so sad thinking about Aang's marble trick because from a physics perspective, keeping dense spherical objects afloat on an airstream is not trivial, and he's doing it in a tiny little space without moving his hands. Bending is usually very gestural. So. Everyone in the era of the show is, at best, impressed THAT it is airbending. But Aang's an incredibly young master airbender. He wouldn't be acting like this was the bestest trick ever if it didn't take at least some skill; he's a goofy kid but he's also a prodigy. I bet other airbenders were absolutely blown away (pun fully intended) at the level of precision and force and minimalism of movement on display and now there's no one who understands at all why he expects accolades.

Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.

Peeta buring the bread and tossing some to her then taking a beating from his mom is a HUGE thing in the books.#he used his resources to help her like you all said someone should.#district 12 DID (rip) care about Katniss before the hunger games. why do you think she was allowed to hunt? or how her trades were good #these are the little ways 12 can shows Katniss they love her. but again Katniss doesn't see this and YES its because she had ptsd before the #hunger games as well. i swear some of you make it seem like d12 was all living a life of luxury and glaring down at Katniss.#other things that show Katniss is in hight standing with at least her people of d12 is her dad was known enough through d12 for peeta dad to #comment on his singing along with his commenting on her mom. also her mom is a healer in the community. yeah her parents arnt the top but #of d12 but they are/were definitely high staning in the Seam.

Offscreen, Dipper probably went on a crazy, fantastical journey to break into the multiverse and find his great uncle. It was at LEAST as intense and eventful as one full season of gravity falls. Made friends, enemies, friends from his enemies, maybe a whirlwind romance. And the whole thing was leading up to finding his grunkle in a fucked up contest to determine which Man Will Become Pregnant.

(Congrats on making it to the finals, Ford!! I'm actually so excited about this.)

#billford #stanford pines #dipper pines #gravity falls #gravity falls fanart #need him pregnant poll #getfordpregnant2025 #sketchbook #drawing this one was actually very tricky and awkward #cuz I finished my previous sketchbook using up all the pages for this comic #so i got out an old strathmore sketch pad and the paper is THIN and ROUGH. not to mention BIG #so i had to scan each page multiple times and editing took FOREVEERRR #I scanned like 20 images - and even though I wasnt drawing on the back of the pages #they scanned all see through and you could see drawings from other panels very clearly #so I had to remove each page from the pad and RE SCAN THEMMMM #and its almost 90 degrees in my house so ya. i'm a little crabby DKFLGHKJ #but i love drawing these. this is actually the sort of crazy shit that plays out in my head during Imagining Hours #and I don't think I ever draw the batshit things my brain comes up with. so this is a first!!#my art
