I'm probably batting at a bee hive for saying this, but I'm pretty sure fans will not get an apology nor will watcher back track.

Personally, I think they already thought about this, anticipated the hate and loss of subs and decided it would be alright.

And lastly, they prob calculated it and concluded that the amount of fans subbing to their streaming tv outweighs the amount they'll lose from YouTube.

Just saying, there is a possibility that they calculated and saw that they could pull this off with paid subscription on their new streaming site. It's a gamble for them, which they took up. So, I'm pretty sure they think that this is worth it.

Besides, we're not hearing much from the people already subbed because there's too much hate atm for them to joyfully announce that they have an account.

the bit in s1e10 where five says “ok i have an idea for us to not die in this apocalypse, but you guys have to trust me” and the brothers all go “eh… yeah no” is simultaneously funny and sad because oh lord could you IMAGINE

picture this: you spend 40 years in an apocalyptic wasteland with the single goal of getting back to save your siblings from dying when the world ends just to fail

and then you start to panic because you and your siblings are about to die a horrible death and there’s nothing you can do to stop it, but you desperately cling onto a shot-in-the-dark plan to save them because it’s accompanied by a sliver of hope, and then ask if they trust you to try it and they WITHOUT HESITATION go “absolutely tf not”

plotholes in season 4 i really don't understand now i've digested the season please feel free to explain or add your own:

- sparrow academy and especially sloane just being forgotten, luther just seeming to magically get over his wife disappearing and not fighting in any way shape or form to find her or get back to a timeline with her in it - especially as they show discovery of the phoenix academy you think five would mention that a timeline with sloane must exist out there - ben being teased on the subway train at the end of season 3 but just??? never showing up??? was that an alternative timeline? - allison doing everything last season motivated by the idea of being able to get to claire and ray only for ray to apparently leave her with zero elaboration as to why or what happened - making fatphobic jokes towards diego but actually he takes his shirt off and is still ripped as fuck? - upon regaining their powers luther getting his ape body back which??? literally had nothing to do with his marigold related powers it was because of an accident on a previous timeline? - lila getting laser beam eye powers seemingly from nowhere, but it's not as if this was ever addressed because she could still mimic powers (see: her using five's time travel ability) - very limited use of powers, there were a few cool moments in episode 2 but ultimately it felt like there was no need to even get them back as they rarely showcased them (with the exception of five's getting them stuck) - klaus throwing his marigold onto a passing man but this never getting any exploration - never explaining why jennifer was in a giant squid - never explaining why jennifer got locked up in a safe - ben apparently never discussing with klaus how he died??? - ben and jennifer not realising that the entire motel had blown up around them including murdering flocks of birds and staff when they checked out? - entire five/lila plotline but also five figuring out how to leave and not saying anything when he has always been the first to want to get back and protect his family - lila apparently hating bracelets despite the fact that diego making lila a bracelet and it keeping them linked was such a big plotpoint it was used as a teaser in previous seasons (and the bead bracelet just disappearing) - lila being so intent on saving her family and the kids by sending them to the subway and on an alternative timeline but only one 'true' timeline can survive anyway which would erase the subway - the kids existing when the parents that created them don't - the entire show being for nothing in that the umbrellas do not even exist anymore

i can’t get over how they decided to just never resolve the conflict between five and diego. like they fully died hating each other. fives last line directly to diego is ‘im gonna fucking kill him’ steve blackman you will be dealt with

Screaming crying throwing up thinking about how Five might've acted pretty aloof as a kid but you just know he'd stick his neck out to protect his siblings from Reginald.

Just... things like acting out to take his attention off Ben or Viktor, or willingly taking the blame for something he didn't do because Klaus was gone all night last night and came back pale, disheveled and looking like he's been crying. Klaus hadn't even broken the stupid thing on purpose, which makes Five speak up to tell Reginald he did it.

And here's the thing: there's no way Reginald didn't catch on. He knew exactly what Five was doing, but the one surefire way to control Five has always been through his siblings, so...

Listen, I love Allison and she's a good sister, but Diego was the one who was there for Klaus since S1. Diego drove him around. Diego saved him from Hazel and Cha Cha. Diego helped him get sober to get Dave. Six years of Allison giving Klaus her basement doesn't erase the fact that Diego's was there for Klaus for who-knows-how-many years.
