Aether : *Wearing an immaculate white apron* Right..! So…!! You’ll need…. *Points to each ingredient, describing it*

Aether : Then you pour the mixed batter in the well greased muffin tin…

Rain : And you cook for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Aether : And there you are..! Honey cornbread muffins ! You can eat them right out of the oven with butter… And a sliced banana if you have one. *Searches for the bananas and sighs when there is none*

Rain : *Blushes* Sorry… I forgot at the grocery store…. *Fingers crossed behind his back, as he doesn’t like bananas*

Now that the Mario jam is wrapped up, I'm proud to show off all the custom assets that I sprited while working on Funky Kong's homestage, Homecoming Hijinx! There's of course the rotating bananas and a recreation of the classic VFX, the barrel itself (animated through code), the multicolored balloons, and several particle sprites! Believe it or not, the barrel and ice particles are actually 10 individual sprites that are drawn as projectiles!

There are also the platforms, but those animations were heavily based on co-stage developer Ghostabo's environment sprites, so you'll have to check out the stage for that one!

Okay, I wanna sprinkle some positivity to kickstart our resilience, so have this

Papa and the ghouls and ghoulettes taking a pottery class! You already know it’s gonna be messy that’s for sure, but you know some of them will try to make something

Swiss, Aurora, and Phantom probably have a clay war and OH! Imagine Aether trying to get them to settle down and he gets a splotch of clay to the face!

I have a hc that Water Ghouls gift pottery pieces they made but the clay is from the beds of their home waters.

So imagine it’s Rain and Dew leading the class.

Swiss, Phantom and Aurora are chaos puppies.

Aether and Mountain are like teacher’s assistants.

Copia, Cumulus, Cirrus and Sunshine are just the best students and create some really cool stuff.

Unpopular Ghestie Opinion : Aether Edition

Knowing Chris gets hurt / upset when people mention or discuss his weight / body makes me worry that the constant "chubby ghoul" art ppl do for Aether is also triggering for him.

I'm by no means saying to stop because his body is perfect. End of story. But I think the fact that when I see ppl discussing Aether / whenever I talk to ppl about Aether it's almost always the first thing they mention.

Aether is the "big boy" the "THICC boy" etc etc. I know representation is important but when that becomes their entire (perceived) personality (according to fans) it starts to sadden me.

I don't know. Aether is fun, silly, energetic, bouncy, stompy, funny and playful. I just wish people would recognize him for more than just the size of his body.

Aether: Earlier today, I was walking down the street, eating a banana, when I saw this woman at a bus stop also eating a banana. To her horror and mine, I was physically unable to stop myself from raising my banana to her in some weird banana toast. She looked very confused, then, adorably, raised her banana back at me. Anyway, I have a date on Saturday.
