nobody’s soldier by hozier is sooo cquackity coded. well kind of

LIKE OKAY. this is a song about choosing not to support war and being uncertain about where to stand and just overall kind of nervous over it all

cquackity having to choose between manburg and pogtopia… betray his fiance or betray his friends and weird estranged lover(s). having to deal with the stress of it all (“if i tell you this is drowning, you’d tell me i’m walking on water”)

him just wishing he didn’t have to choose and be scared he’d be caught by cschlatt… not even wishing i think it’s probably more of a yearn (“sick to my skin, watching the news again”). he so badly yearns to not be in this position. and you know what!!!! even if he thinks what he’s doing is right, he still ends up losing everything he loved. from cschlatt to cwilbur to even someone like ctubbo or ctommy… those relationships are gone or so insanely messed up it’s hard to recover quickly (“whatever you choose, you lose out in the long run”)

him feeling so much guilt while grieving cschlatt’s death… he loved him as much as he hated him, and while fighting with pogtopia was the best decision, he feels guilt because he betrayed him (“the goal i was aiming for was the wrong one”)

even in a non political standpoint, after el rapids is destroyed and ckarl and csapnap leave him for kinoko (“i don’t want to choose between being a salesman or a soldier”), he builds up las nevadas all on his own (“honey, i’m taking no orders, i’m gonna be nobody’s soldier”)

i have sooo much more i can say about him and nobody’s soldier but i’m gonna leave it at that… if u want to hear more lmk in my askbox 😭❤️

Nyallo Ian! I kept rewriting this cause i didn't want to spoil too much about some lore but i ended up writing a lot either way 💀 (Wiping sweat again, please make sense)

Ramblings down below!

🦀: How did they handle realizing they were in love? Embarrassed? Nervous? Mad? - On Jamil’s side he’s been noticeably more irritable, gritting his teeth at everything that reminds him of Oz. A certain shade of blue, the cookies and cream ice cream Kalim requested, the vanilla sugar that smelled like— Oh. - Before he knew it he was starting to see his class rival in a new light, he tolerated him before now he wanted Oz out of his sight. It’s sickening the way, he wants to learn more of Oz— but he knew he would be overstepping his boundaries. They weren’t even friends. So Jamil stayed quiet, pining silently, yet keeping his ears open in case he hears a familiar laughter from the hallway. - He just hopes that this was nothing more than a silly crush, but winter break happened. Along with the blot pouring out of him, was the feelings he tried to repress.

- Oz had always felt a certain something towards Jamil, a mixture of a lot, positive and negative. Jamil was so reserved, but Oz could sense that there was more to his facade. Sometimes Oz’s um would act unpredictably, and in his vision he can see clearly the dissatisfied look in Jamil’s face. - It felt rude to stare, to eavesdrop, but Oz wanted to know— but why did he want to know? - Oh that’s right— he just wants to see a future where Jamil has a genuine smile on his face.

- After the events of winter break, the feeling that was above the rest was empathy. They’ve been in a similar situation before, they know what it’s like. Ever since then Oz had lessened his teasing and pranks on Jamil, slowly trying to befriend him. Perhaps they can start a new leaf? As friends (or as something more than friends— best friends 🤯)

💕: Who confessed first and how? Did it go as planned or did shenanigans ensue? - Initially Jamil planned to confess if they won VDC/SDC (after much convincing) but with all the things that happened during that event it kinda slipped over his mind. He was so drowsy after having to fight then dance afterwards. He was just so physically and mentally drained from all of that, that he didn’t realize it was Oz he was leaning over. When he looked down, he was face to face with a very flustered Oz. - When Kalim saw the two acting so close, his eyes lit up and he exclaimed that he was glad Jamil finally confessed— which Jamil shushed him up for, but it was too late. Oz had heard it. - Oz kept stuttering, unsure what to say— but Jamil approached him, and asked that they talk about it, preferably away from the NRC tribe.

- Jamil’s plan wasn’t grand, he just wanted to hand Oz a pendant he personally crafted along with his heartfelt confession. When they were finally alone together, he found himself stumbling over his practiced speech— and when he reached for the pendant it had snapped into pieces in his pocket (perhaps it broke during the commotion). Now Jamil wanted to back out on his words, the silence was deafening, and Oz’s stare at the broken pendant burned him. - Despite that, Oz grabbed Jamil’s hand— looking at the pendant. - “It’s in pieces now but, we can always fix it.” Oz smiled at Jamil, - “If you’re willing to take it step by step, I’d love to stay by your side.” - Jamil knew that this wasn’t about the pendant.

Hi quick question, do you have maybe a rough reference for Sunrazor's height?? Like in comparison to Sides and Sunny maybe. So I could whittle out the difference between her and Comet? If you don't mind I know your busy..

I’d say the average height for bots are somewhere between Leoblast (the second guy to the last) and Valkyrie. She’s like in the middle though.

If I had to guess I’d put Sunstreaker around this tall compared to her. Once again. Using the same logic that says Soundwave can turn into a cassette player and Megatron into a gun, she can be big.

I also just really love myself some big bulky characters that can just throw people around.

I swear she’s freakishly big for a reason. It’s important for the story. Trust.

I hope this kinda helps. I also haven’t completely locked down the sizes. This is just kinda like… a general idea? Basically, it could change but it probably wouldn’t be too dramatic or anything.

look i know this month has been crazy already in what has been going on for me BUT IT GETS CRAZIER... I got to finally have my constant pain I've had for two years diagnosed... I have fibromyalgia lol i have a chronic illness??😭😭
