cquackity having to choose between manburg and pogtopia… betray his fiance or betray his friends and weird estranged lover(s). having to deal with the stress of it all (“if i tell you this is drowning, you’d tell me i’m walking on water”)

him just wishing he didn’t have to choose and be scared he’d be caught by cschlatt… not even wishing i think it’s probably more of a yearn (“sick to my skin, watching the news again”). he so badly yearns to not be in this position. and you know what!!!! even if he thinks what he’s doing is right, he still ends up losing everything he loved. from cschlatt to cwilbur to even someone like ctubbo or ctommy… those relationships are gone or so insanely messed up it’s hard to recover quickly (“whatever you choose, you lose out in the long run”)

him feeling so much guilt while grieving cschlatt’s death… he loved him as much as he hated him, and while fighting with pogtopia was the best decision, he feels guilt because he betrayed him (“the goal i was aiming for was the wrong one”)

even in a non political standpoint, after el rapids is destroyed and ckarl and csapnap leave him for kinoko (“i don’t want to choose between being a salesman or a soldier”), he builds up las nevadas all on his own (“honey, i’m taking no orders, i’m gonna be nobody’s soldier”)

Made a compilation of my favorite pieces from each month of 2024. I’ll put the template I made in a reblog if anyone wants to use it. Top right of each image lists character and fandom, bottom right is which day of the month I drew it. (which is different to the date it was posted here, in most cases, since this blog runs on a queue that’s usually around a month long)

Ramblings about each month and the year overall have been placed under a cut.

It’s interesting looking back… I didn’t even realize how recent some of this stuff was until I was going through my photos. Like September and October weren’t that long ago, but it feels like it’s been ages since I drew those pieces…

I’d completely forgotten about my brief foray back into dsmp stuff at the start of the year. Sure is wild how many of the creators turned out to be terrible… Honestly, that’s a big part of why I haven’t gotten back into it in earnest at any point - every time I feel like I’m ready to get back into it, some completely insane controversy comes out about another cc and I end up backing off until it’s been long enough that it doesn’t feel insensitive to being up the “character =/= creator” argument again.

Unsurprisingly, Undertale has a big presence throughout the year, along with Deltarune. No matter how much time goes by, I don’t think I’ll ever stop being into it. First ever fandom, you know? Shaped my personality at a formative age, and all that.

I didn’t really do much colored stuff in January, apparently. Guess I was more focused on playing around with negative space that month, given the dsmp drawings. (and the Chara one, which is just me doing that but with color. I actually did drawings like that for a couple Undertale characters, but the Chara one was my favorite so that’s the one that made it in)

In February I drew a whole bunch of Burgerpants. Only grabbed one, since I did some other neat stuff that month too, but there were a whole bunch to pick from. Something about him just really appeals to me. I did some Homestuck that month too, along with a fair bit throughout the rest of the year. It’s really terrible that Homestuck is so good despite the everything about it. I think it’s going to live rent free in my brain until I die.

In March I did a little bit more dsmp, but I’m pretty sure it was basically only that drawing. What can I say, nuke imagery is simply too fun to play with. I was really happy with those Undynes as well. I was experimenting with color a lot that month and honestly I’m still proud of those pieces. I should try doing more stuff like that…

There must have been something in the water in April, because I was just absolutely churning out some of the best digital paintings of my life… that third one especially, with Frisk in the bed of flowers, is just… damn, I need to do more stuff like that.

May was another month where I didn’t do much colored stuff, but I did do some Trigun art. I think that was probably the month I rewatched the original anime and realized how good it is. The Chara drawing was inspired by - you know those old pieces, I think the artist was called Teoft? They did a series of Undertale pieces with various characters as super ominous looking angels. My style doesn’t really carry across vibe as well (at least not with the brush I was using there) but it was fun to play around with and I never get tired of drawing wings.

June is all OC stuff, because that’s the month before Artfight so I was remastering all my old OC refs. Inevitably, I’ll end up doing that again this year, since I’ve changed a bunch of their outfits since then…

July is Artfight month, which I usually put this blog on hiatus during, but I ended up drawing so much stuff that year I didn’t have to. Like not only was it the most prolific I’ve been as far as Artfight attacks go, but I was also doing enough stuff on top of that to have had genuine trouble picking only four pieces to put here… like, again, clearly something in the water.

In August I was playing around with representations of the player in Undertale and Deltarune. Puppet imagery has historically been my go-to for that, but that was around the time I finally played Slay the Princess, so I had hands on the mind too. The eyes were inspired by Murderbot Diaries fanart, because there’s a character in that series who often gets represented that way and I always thought it looked super cool.

I had a really cool piece I was working on September for the Undertale anniversary, but I never ended up finishing it. So instead there’s a bunch of Deltarune stuff. I mean, close enough, right…?

In October we see the first appearances of both Parkciv and ISAT, though my earliest ISAT stuff is actually from late September. All of the Parkciv drawings I’ve posted were done in one day and I haven’t drawn anything for it since. ISAT, on the other hand, is still dominating this blog. When the hyperfixation hits, amirite?

November is entirely ISAT, somewhat unsurprisingly. What can I say, I just really like Loop. And drawing them in dresses is fun.

December, on the other hand, is entirely Undertale! Not that it was the only thing I drew necessarily - I did some ISAT stuff too - but that was the month I started my Undertale AU askblog, so it was occupying an even larger portion of my head than it usually does. Actually, the majority of the art I did last month was for the askblog - I’ve been focusing on it pretty hard. It’s probably the most consistently invested I’ve been in making an au since like… Reverietale.

Overall, I’m really happy with what I’ve made this year. I don’t think I’ve necessarily made any insane strides as an artist or anything - I got slightly better at anatomy and perspective, but nothing crazy - but in a lot of ways I think that’s a mark of how far I’ve come as an artist - that I’ve reached a level where I don’t really feel like there are any big changes to my style as a whole I need to make to keep improving, and instead I’m taking what I already have and refining it. I think over the course of the last year I’ve reached a point where I actually consider my art to be consistently at a professional level.

I think, at some point soon, I’m going to start actually doing commissions for real. I’ve already got most of the pricing stuff figured out…

Well, happy new year! Despite everything… I think I’m looking forward to the future.

About c!wilbur and c!tntduo.

I wanted to state my views and my personal opinion on the cwil character and also ctntduo as a whole. It is completely fine if you don't agree with these.

With the wilbur situation going on I understand why people would not want to think about tntduo or the character anymore because anything associated with him might make people think of everything that's happening and has already happened. And I understand, it's a gross feeling. But I think most of tntblr can agree that, this feeling is eventually going to gradually pass. The harm done by ccWilbur will never go away, but the pain fans (and not only) feel will fade with time.

With this, I do believe that cwilbur can be separated from the creator. They are different people. It is not the characters fault for what he did. The cc can control the c, but the c can't control the cc. I don't find it incredibly right to hate on the character for something the creator did. And since dsmp ended, the creators have basically abandoned the characters and left them into our hands, the community remaining. That somewhat makes them our ocs, and we can choose to edit and remove whatever part of cwil that feels too similar to the actual person. I do believe people can still like cwilbur and enjoy ctntduo, even if it will take time. I get why this right now might feel wrong or gross to think about, and that's completely fair. But I do wish and believe that that might change in the future.

I was going to start posting ctntduo content on here, but because of this, I'll wait a few weeks. Maybe even a month. It doesn't feel right to post stuff like that right now. I'll wait until people affected and fans alike hopefully feel better from this whole situation. I encourage people who still want to keep cwil or ctntduo to do the same.

It is completely reasonable to drop the character and ctntduo as a whole because of this situation, some people will never be able to look at anything he's made or he's part of the same again because of what he's done. I do hope that people who loved the cc and still love his character don't blame themselves for supporting what he did, we would have never known. He played his cards so well that nobody even thought to bat an eye. And that's what is severely disturbing about this situation to me. Because this once again proves that you can't trust ANYONE, especially not content creators. You do not know what goes on behind the scenes, you do not know what goes on inside their minds. You only see what they want you to see.

ALL my support goes to Shelby and I am by absolutely NO MEANS on Wilburs side and will never be. Support victims.

THERE'S SEASONS OF THE DEEP GREEN?! /delighted

this might be a super basic question so let me know if you'd like something more specific, but could you like, outline the seasons for me? like, 1 or 2 sentences of pitch or summary each, kind of thing? I'd love to have the Shape of the story in my head so that the details can slot into it >:D

THERE ARE THERE ARE this is what happens when you've had this server since december 2021, lore has had time to accrue sdlkjsdg

in surprise to Nobody At All i've got a little playlist for each season, with songs in chronological order hitting the main lore events & emotional beats of the story (& trying to touch on all three characters' povs), so i'll link each of those too

SEASON 1 (playlist)

Season 1 begins with the founding of the Deep Green, when Icarus & Grond explored the cave system near spawn and did their zoning. Season 1's themes involve community, establishing relational ties, politics, & power dynamics, since it's when most members were joining, building friendships, and maybe partaking in a little bit of political treachery & blackmailing. 0:) The closing event of Season 1 was Sisyphus's trial and execution, following their accidental use of the "/clear all entities" command which resulted in the murder of every living thing. Literally nothing has been the same ever since that mistake.

SEASON 2 (playlist)

Season 2 covers Sisyphus's "atonement arc" (aka them gathering resources & animals for each player as an attempt at making amends for the murders) until their departure. Themes for Season 2 include magic (belief vs unbelief), trust vs distrust, and fraying relationships/unraveling ties. This is the season that the cavern began; Sisyphus began secretly growing skulk in a cavern under their house, Icarus began grasping for more stability & control over her friends, Sisyphus & Icarus's friendship started fraying, Kore found a camel, and the skulk situation kept escalating until Kore & Icarus staged an intervention because they were convinced their entire home was in danger. In response, Sisyphus decided to leave the Deep Green for an undetermined amount of time.

SEASON 3 (playlist)

Season 3 takes place during Sisyphus's absence. cc!Crim (the human being) spent these months working on a Secret Build somewhere else on the server, while Kore & Icarus were left alone on the Deep Green. Season 3 covers themes of reaching out to others vs isolation, absence & grief, fear vs paranoia vs support, and action/preparation/defense. Korus (<- Kore+Icarus's duo name) continued letter correspondence with Thalia* in hopes of finding more answers about the skulk/Wardens; they burned down the skulk in the cavern; they strengthened their friendship together once Icarus stopped grieving Sisyphus's departure alone in her house for like 3 months straight (<- the canonical explanation for cc!Elle taking a break from minecraft last spring XD); Icarus's paranoia continued to spiral/grow; and possibly most importantly, Korus made direct contact with the Magic. The Magic as a whole will take too much time to explain in a pitch like this, but Season 3's closing event was the "encounter" with the Magic when it directly responded to Korus's attempt at communication.

*Thalia is Crim's oc from the dream smp that they made, like, five years ago. XD through a series of events we canonized Thalia (& c!Elle & Bluebell, mine & rozu's dsmp ocs) in the Deep Green universe; Thalia & the other l'sonas live far away from the Deep Green post-dsmp-nuke-ending and Thalia writes letters to Sisyphus/the other residents sometimes. It's delightful and silly and I love it very much

SEASON 4 (playlist)

Aand this is where we're at now, babey!! We never know how long a season is going to be until some big event takes place and we all look at each other & look at the themes and go "hey guys. I think a season just ended and another one's begun." XD So I don't know the themes of Season 4 yet, but I might posit "forgiveness & grace" being one of them. The large events so far have been Korus following the Magic's direction beyond the Deep Green's walls in search of the source of the skulk (that's been continuing to spread in the Deep Green). They found Sisyphus, had multiple confrontations, went through Sisyphus's creepy memory-room labyrinth (<- the very epic build cc!Crim had been working on), got Sisyphus's painful backstory, and eventually reached the point where Sisyphus has returned, remorseful, to the Deep Green. Unfortunately during that process Icarus's and Kore's friendship has fallen apart yet again, so we've got the running joke that Icarus is apparently only capable of being friends with one (1) of her friends at any given time. XD So they're all still in the messy middle of things, but Caruphys (<- Icarus+Sisyphus's duo name) at least is slowly on the mend. We'll see where things will go from here. >:'D

Heads up: This post is related to the Shubble and cc!Will topic. Basically, this post outlines how the rest of my content will go here on out.

Just some updates about how my future Dsmp Rewritten/Healing AU-related content will go!

Upon hearing the news, I felt that it would be more appropriate to start giving the AU its own identity. I’ve been wanting to give it its own name to somewhat set it apart from canon DSMP? Just so people know that I’ll be focusing more on developing that storyline and characters to make it stand out from the canon. (It’s still related to DSMP of course, and would still have the characters from that fandom. I just think it would be nice to give it its own identity.)

In terms of drawing c!Will, she has and will always stay completely separated from the actual content creator, as it had always been with the other characters! I love her dearly and I’m not quite sure if I’m ready to let go of my interest for the characters + AU just yet. I’ll still continue to draw the characters (SMP characters and Bursonas), just not anything for the actual real life guy.

I considered giving c!Will another alternative name, Willow, which I thought sounded nice. :] I wouldn’t consider the characters my OCs yet? I feel like the AU needs time to kind of build itself and grow to really stand out as “original”.

At this point in time, the news has pushed me to try and span out to different interests. Not just developing the AU into its own thing to stand out of DSMP, but most likely delving into other interests and making fanart for a wider variety of fandoms. It’s very difficult to let go of my old interests though; this is an interest that I’ve held dearly to my heart for years, and I doubt I’ll fully quit making things for it in the future. I just feel like this might mark a different direction for my art going forward. For sure I won’t stop drawing fanart for it, but things are surely just going to feel different. I won’t be using any cc!Will tags, only tags related to his character.

The situation at this point in time is super stressful for a whole lot of me and my friends. If anyone needs context, I’m not sure if I can give the best insight on what happened or explain it properly. I highly suggest reading about it from other folks instead.

Any dsmp headcanons? :3

well I have many many character specific ones, but for like overall;

I don't really care for like, the game aspect of the story, servers and stuff like that, I've talked about this a little already but I really really enjoy thinking that the dsmp actually takes place somewhere near the end of the middle ages, there's like a few holes in this, with some of the stuff that they build being more modern, but honestly they got enchantments and like immortal players so I'm not too worried about a redstone prison, it fits in the rules of the world anyways.

also, nobody knows how the three live system came to be, but a lot of religious texts say it was a curse put upon the people for- whatever reason the writer thought was the worst sin, it's not taken as fact but the three live system in itself is magical to a degree, there's also something called Inbetweener Syndrome where if you lose all of your lives very quickly your soul gets trapped in your body, so they think thats how zombies became a thing (then zombies can also infect others by just biting, it isn't 100% lethality and if you clean the wound you most likely won't die or get infected.)

emeralds are an actual currency, and used by the characters and not just villagers.

also here's some quick hcs for a few of the characters since I can't really go too deep into it rn;

Ranboo: the white part of his genes is a farlander, and he's basically a frankenstein monster. no i won't elaborate lol

Tubbo: he headbutts people to assert dominance, and he sometimes eats flowers.

Tommy: he's basically something between a forest spirit/fae and a shapeshifter- he's not human and he can change his shape if he chooses to, it's just a really fucking painful process so he usually doesn't, the horns that he grows after revival are a physical manifestation of his agony and it was not something he controlled. he used to have wings as a small child to match cWil's, and he had a racoon tail for a while when he was staying with techno. (lmao can you tell that hes my favorite)

Techno: he's the reincarnation of the blood god, and the voices in his head are people he and the god before him has murdered. also he hoards cold like a fucking maniac, and gives it to people he cares for (phil has a lot of gold jewelry, wil had a pocket watch, and with tommy he lets the kid take golden apples, he had been brainstorming a gift idea for him, but that never came true in the end.) also he and phil are queerplatonic. (theyre not related, never liked that hc sorry)

Phil: Deaths angel, as in his wife is the concept of death (yeah idk whats wrong with him either) and he gained his wings from Her as a gift. he also has antlers, whether that's because he used to be a deer hybrid or something similar is lost to time, he's mainly a bird nowadays anyway. talking about his birdisms, he can kinda control how much of that shows, his form basically ranges from full on harpy to man with wings and anything between that. this is something that he's learned overtime, and sometimes when he's angry or something he might go full murder bird mode lmao. also shiny things are cool, and no that is (probably) not why he likes techno so much, his gold gifts are just a bonus ok?

Fundy: not actually wil's bio son, he came from a forest nearby and wil just kinda took him, the whole born on lmanburg soil is still probably true though, just not as concrete. he also can change form like phil, going from a human with years and a tail to an actual fox.

uhhh, that's a few, some of them kinda hower the line of 'edgy oc with awesome powers' so apologies for that, for a lot of the more cringe ones I do have more explanation for, I just dont feel like writing all that down right this second.

Ohohohoho well!

Moory is my main dsmp oc, started out as just a self-insert, ended up as an OC. She's a traveller who accidentally wandered into the lands of dsmp and decided to stay there for.. reasons.

Now let's talk about backstory. Warning: she's connected to some characters family-wise so if you don't like that just skip this part.

So.

She's Schlatt's daughter and Tubbo's older sister. She came from a one-night stand and somehow ended up being raised by Schlatt. He was not very good at it as you might've guessed. When she was around 9-10, Schlatt brought home Tubbo. The latter came from a relationship that didn't work out. Schlatt, again, was a shit dad so she helped with raising Tubbo a lot. At least during 2-3 years. At some point when she was 13 or so and Tubbo was 3-4, Schlatt said that he couldn't afford both children simultaneously so Moory had to choose who stays. Schlatt likely didn't actually mean it. He was probably drunk or something. But Moory believed it and, well.. she knew that a 3 yo wouldn't survive alone with Schlatt so the only way was to give Tubbo away. So she left him on the street, where Phil found him later. Which, she feels so incredibly guilty for this. For leaving him. Grief. When Moory was 17, Schlatt got a lot worse. His business schemes started getting more risky and his alcohol problems started getting more serious too. And at some point, he raised a hand at her and she knew that she couldn't stay there anymore. It wasn't safe. So she ran and never looked back. During the next 8 years she travelled around the world, on foot mostly, doing odd jobs for food and money and sleeping in her bag- which serves as a portal to a mini pocket dimension, it's a whole thing. Basically like Newt Scammander's bag. During that time she has grown and matured and eventually, she found dsmp. She didn't plan to stay there for long, but then she discovered L'manburg and realised that holy fuck that's her brother. And she wanted to keep an eye out for him, as much as she could without revealing herself as his sister (because guilt). So that's how she decided to stay in the dsmp.

She wasn't a part of L'manburg but she helped it out, as well as pogtopia later on. Sometime after the pogtopia war she decided to move away and stay closer to the anarchists, (abandoning Tubbo again during one of the hardest times in his life ghhhhhhhhhhh but she couldn't stand seeing him become more and more like Schlatt.). During the Doomsday, Tubbo finds the photos and basically evidence of their connection and is like oh fuck. And Moory is like oh fuck! So.. their reunion is.. rough, but she starts at least trying to actually face her actions and face him and help him build Snowchester and stuff. It's awkward at first, but their relationship becomes better with time and effort.

Backstory part over

Okay now. Her relationships and likes and other stuff.

She's close to Tubbo and Ranboo, on relatively good terms but a bit strained with Tommy, strained terms with Techno, Phil and Fundy. She's on bad terms with Wilbur, Dream, Quackity and Sam. She's on good terms with Niki, Michael, Puffy. Very very bad complicated terms with Schlatt.

Moory's hobbies include gardening, potionmaking and playing on a flute (she's bad at it but hey! It's fun.). She also likes bone collecting and all sorts of craftsmanship. Oh also knife throwing is fun but she doesn't do it as much anymore.

It has been a criminally long time since I've posed teensies (no it hasn't I'm greatly exaggerating)

This was actually a fun exercise lol. Taking an oc, one of my favorite characters, and some stolen skin from Minecraft Planet and making them interpretive characters was really fun to do. (Similar to how people drew DSMP and Hermitcraft ppl)

I did this b/c of a childhood Minecraft series that I'll describe below lol (along with progress photos):

Recently I felt this urge to watch a really old Minecraft series called Seedlings. I remember watching the first season when it first dropped on Game Time (I think it was called that???) and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Rewatching it as an adult, I see how the existentialism is shown and being comfortable with your place in the world is felt. (I relate to Mark so heavily and I have no idea if that's a red flag or not.)

ANYWAYS, I had an interesting hypothetical Season 3 where the NPCs show their intelligence and sentience to the Marked Ones and come to a resolution to the whole violence and massacre thing. It would most likely be leave the server alone and let the NPCs do whatever without interference lol. Thing was I had no ideas for how these hypothetical Marked Ones skins would look. You would think I would try to be basic with it, but I wasn't in the mood to draw a buncha anime peeps. So, what better idea than to use my own Minecraft skins!

The two taller skins are my OC Katelyn, and my interpretation of Goth Teensy both translated into the Minecraft style (which is funny cuz Katelyn was originally a Minecraft character anyways soooo 💀💀💀). Then they are translated out into these new designs lol. Their users would probably be KattoDrago27 and GTeensyGuardian lol

The "Tiny Minumus" as I've deemed him is called King Teensie Grand Minimus Rayman Legends Origins by SnaKke on Planet Minecraft. Go check out their skins they're pretty good. His user would probably be TheGrandestMinimus001

So. Phil has said that Tubbo's problem is not having blood in that one famous shitpost which got me into Fault in the first place. So. What if they did have blood though? Like what if some of the wax cells were filled with blood? Just spontaneously. For blood-letting purposes, yk.

I think I saw you mention somewhere that Fault!Tubbo either has or could potentially have memories from different alternative versions of themselves. Explain please?? Also does that mean that they potentially have memories from my personal au where most of my ocs and headcanons live? What if. What if the Fault crew + the scp researchers got spontaneously teleported into a gacha reaction videos where they had to react to your shitposts, animations and drawings. This one has heavy spoilers!

1. Probably depends on how you do it, but I think he’d just take basic notes on sex-ed. Doesn’t have much puritan context of taboo or embarrassment on the subject. Fairly indifferent on the whole sex thing because he doesn’t think it’ll ever come up in his lifestyle of avoiding humans and knowing only 4 people. Probably a little irritated that its theories were so wildly off base, grumble a bit about how its own ideas about making Faustian bargains with dark entities and trading organ: [womb] for power make far more sense but whatever. He thinks pregnancy is stupid because how are you supposed to run like that? And your food is SIPHONED off by the fetus? Why can’t they get their own? And at the end you get a human. Terrible process all around. 3/10 Tommy has less ammunition to tease it now and that’s IT. 

2. Probably smell bad. Maybe they could do things like blush? Mosquitoes would go crazy for them. If this is ‘a previously weren’t a blood fruit gusher’ situation, Tubbo would be freaking out about 1. Who the muffin’s blood is this and 2. Starving 2 death babyy. Cause they really need that honey to operate. A bunch of baby larva are going to die even if all the workers can go into overdrive to feed the Hive. I think it would be very funny if Tubbo tried to break into a blood bank to donate it all. Shhh don’t worry about where this blood came from. Or what happened to the security cameras. It’s for a good cause trust trust. 

3.Heavy spoilers. The plan was that Tubbo and Wilbur get dunked through the near apocalypse via dissolving of the narrative due to SOMEONE being so depressed it fails to keep the void in check/potentially interpretable as being suicidal, thus exposing the two to pure void madness and realizing everything is a story. Which would entail having some familiarity/confusion about the source material of the dsmp, some vlogs, etc. but not necessarily AUs. But then SOMEONE turned out to be an abusive ass, and that plot point got very icky to me. I’ve been debating it for months, but realized I’m sexy and do what I want so am going to limit it to pure awareness of being a story, but not necessarily a fanfic. Still has the existential crisis of it and the philosophical implications that are going to so beautifully deal with themes of attachments, the purpose of narratives, and parallel whatever the hell trauma Tommy is dealing with during that section. But won’t actually deal with having any true awareness of stuff outside of Fault. Except maybe for realizing “Lawrence killed our muffining husband?!” because that scene was funny as hell to write. I dunno plans change. I’ve tried not to let outside events change my artistic vision, but it’s inevitable. 

4.Oh goodness they absolutely despise me for all the jokes about the horrors they’re going through. Probably think they’re being drawn ‘cute’ given they’re probably a lot freakier looking irl, and slightly distressed about being chibis. I think most would even consider it ‘out of character’ given their self perceptions don’t tend to be the most accurate. Current Wilbur is hissing and vehement about being constantly called an it because his character development is very far off from when that happens. Philza is a little disappointed that his bloodthirsty moments gets so much emphasis since he’s so chill 97% of the time. Tommy is absolutely chuffed to bits to realize he’s the main character, though trying to do damage control cause haha I’m fine guys this crazy internet person just made me seem edgy and depressed. 

Webb is going to strangle me for the Philza/Webb post tho. And the haha poor alcoholic divorcee doormat jokes. Dr. Blake assumes the blog is an anomaly and starts trying to torture it…?

5. I took the quiz sitting in the heads of all of them.

You sing to try and forget, but it does not work” everything about this. Trying to heal but being made of destruction, his fears of devouring his family, singing, memory loss, everything everything it’s so Wilbur. "come and be human with me" “The one who hurt you haunts you. In your nightmares, they say I love you." <literally Phil’s last words when Wilbur killed him in the Whumptober au. "but how can I sleep with the world in my head?" why it has insomnia.

Philza: The Poet. “There are rules. How many? One, and you will follow it.” For his Collected. “Fear: You did your best and it wasn't enough. You tried and failed and kept trying and it wasn't enough. You had the power to change things and it wasn't enough.” For all his dead children. "you’re trembling, but he reaches over and he touches you, like a prayer for which no words exist" it's him reaching out. I love the reverse imagery with Phil, a god worshiping his mortals “anger is a strength in a world of apathy.” He feels no shame or burden for his anger, knowing well the good it can do. “Who taught you about guilt? The silence” 

Tubbo: The King. Absolutely perfect as a foil to The Blade btw. “What is duty? Undeniable” “The throne looks golden, and covered in flowers” “Fear: You did your best and it wasn't enough. You tried and failed and kept trying and it wasn't enough.” Saving people from Philza. “The one who hurt you haunts you. In your nightmares, they say I forgive you” Rosaliiiiiind. “Who taught you about guilt? God”

you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc) Superhero AUs within the dsmp fandom. Seriously. Like especially the people who basically strip the characters of all but their names (and sometimes not even that) and who put them in a totally new setting without any connection to canon lore. It's not a big deal unless your searching on ao3 for a good fic of literally anyone besides Benchtrio and SBI (God help you if you want a canon fic) but it's weird to me as someone who is so interested in the canon dsmp storyline. And not even just the canon events! I mean canon divergent aus that split off from canon, canon to the left, just anything about actual dsmp lore. Idk I just don't get superhero fics why not make ocs at that point?

okay SO. mariam and olivia (and eli, though he appears only a bit in the snippet) r my silly little ocs (that are MAYBE adapted from a dsmp fic. shhhhhhhh they are so much more 2 me now).

mariam and eli are brother and sister and olivia is like... a really close childhood friend, pretty much a sister at this point. their story as I've developped it in my mind so far is: (under read more cause this got LONG)

they live in the same small-ish town and olivia is over at their house a LOT... like pretty much living with them, bc [nebulous part of the story that i have yet to develop but that basically keeps her dad away a lot]

at some point though that [nebulous event] comes to an end and olivia starts seeing them less and less bc frankly. her dad is not a Good Man (and all the implications that come with that)

the snippet i posted happens a few years later when olivia shows up at their door bc its the place she feels the safest in, yk?

they sort some legal stuff out, olivia starts living with them For Real

and THEN there's a whole arc that happens when she leaves 2 go to uni but thats whole other story LMAO

but yeah that's the basic idea!! now for characterization olivia is the Definition of repression. she LOVES repression its her favourite hobby... she's the type that can talk a lot and make you feel like she's not able to keep a secret until you realize that 4 all she talks she doesn't really Say Anything About Herself. she's also the type that convinces herself that since she Understands, objectively, what she's gone through and that it was wrong, she doesn't have to actually deal with it bc like. it happened. it was bad. she got out. what's more to say? surely this will have no impact on her psyche [VERY LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER]. (a huge part of the story after she gets to uni is about how she's terrified of people thinking that what happened was her fault to the point of distancing herself from everyone who knows about it)

mariam.... mariam is so special 2 me always... she's the oldest, the "adult" and she cares about these kids SO MUCH... it's maybe not obvious outwardly bc she's not really the demonstrative kind but she shows it in her own way. her instinct is always to be very.... business-like with it? not quite the word but basically she does her gestures quietly and without fanfare and then you find out about it like 3 weeks later and you're like oh...... she really does care a lot. but also worth mentionning she is more mature so she does know that people have different needs when it comes to knowing that they're loved so with eli she does make an effort to be more Obvious with it. she's also SO scared all the time... she's terrified that something will happen to them always but she doesn't show it because she doesn't want to freak them out :(

eli.. i know you didn't ask about him but i still will answer because hes just so perfect 2 me... he's the youngest (in the snippet i would say he's 13? maybe? haven't figured out timeline yet). he feels everything so strongly all the time he is FULL of emotions. him and olivia understand each other in a way where they dont really talk about it ever because they don't Need to (or so they think. ahem). he's also a mischevious little guy.. loves exploring and disappearing for hours at a time and almost giving mariam a heart attack. he loves so strongly it physically hurts sometimes ... my little guy :(

So! I made a pantheon of dsmp gods like years ago and they were all vaguely based on people from the smp, and one of them was a Sapnap god named Nikolaos— but I like to call him Niko c:

Anyways that’s the context but here’s his deal in the dnd au

Instead of him being a god he’s actually an archdevil in the infernal plane! He’s literally a menace and likes fucking around in the material plane sometimes just to see how people would react/do (like Raphael from BG3 but less- smug? Just more genuinely fucking around)

But in the context of this story, he is dnd!Spooky’s patron! He saw that Spooky was being practically used as a punching bag by the town she was raised in and when it got too far to the point of her nearly dying, she made a pact with him and basically burned and killed the whole town for her keeping her alive.

They became very close friends and it soon blossomed into something more when she became an adult, and he does his best to protect her when he can but wants her to find her own footing and see what she can do!

He does show up time to time though in the events of the au, again like Raphael

Cala knows who he is— but only knows him in his human form and not devil form.

Dream definitely knows who he is in general and is just “gods please”

Overall Niko is just a menace and helps when he can, one of the nicer patrons that’s for sure with spooky uwu
