ARC 3 of this AU's wilddd

For some context, I've recently started rewriting a proper timeline for Intertwined Opposites' main events. There is a total of four "ARCs/ACTs" i'll be writing down for the main story, with an ACT 0 being the prologue story and ACT 4 being an epilogue during it's ladder half

Right now with all the current animatics, time-line wise the last entry would be "Ivanushka". Which is a closer to ARC 2 and opener to ARC 3, though I'd like to touch more on the previous acts in future animatics, since I feel like what I gave yall's still too lacking in my personal opinion hsjfhd (If school and motivation don't go too hard on me hahdnsnf). There are tons of things I'd like to touch more on aughhhh (Mainly some sweet sweet character dynamics)

entomology is a huuuuge interest of mine and actually what im going to uni for!!! so ive worked in two different entomology labs (both being more focused on agricultural entomology) and ive met a handful of people who work in that field :D

it influences a little bit of how i see queenie HAHA so far anyone ive met who works in entomology is very strange in different ways, and i dont see her as having been an entomologist prior to entering the circus (maybe in the past at most? but some way or another she ended up working at c&a...) BUT i like to incorporate that into how i see her!!! its very fun :D

im not an entomologist myself by any means but i have a little bit of experience with that field should that insight be needed for queenie purposes!!!!

Ok I’m full on Blue Beetle hype rn because I’ve never felt so seen in a superhero movie, the family interaction was literally flawless:

• The family withholding important information from Jaime because they didn’t want him to worry

• General distrust of the police

• Literally el tío chairo and his inventions being made out of necessity

• Siblings being passive aggressive in a way of showing affection/worry because we’re not taught how to be vulnerable

• Abuela giving Jaime a blessing

• The family being daring and playful

• Jaime feeling like it’s his responsibility to support his whole family and give them a better life (this one literally made me cry)

i have genuine issues with marvel and dc like everyone else but the almost...gleeful disdain shown for the two major superhero movies released during the sag strike (blue beetle and the marvels, each at least attempting to showcase different levels of diversity and both just objectively were fun, perfectly comparable superhero movies) without even acknowledging the strike and the undue hatred of some toward their respective casts (+the disney of it all for the marvels) affecting their box office feels really Not Great to me. that's all.
