Since beyond good and evil 1 & 2 is getting more attention, I thought why not show some concept of jades appearance in the upcoming prequel

Heres her early design

“He’s killing it”

So after watching captain lazerhawk I got in ubisofts other franchises (I mostly love Rayman and like the Rabbids). Mostly Beyond Good and Evil cuz I heard how much the other characters got butchered in the development.

It also got me thinking on how the game versions of these characters would react to each other mostly how they would react to Rayman.So I came up with this weird scenario where several Ubisoft characters like jade, Desmond (haven’t seen a lot of assassin creed games) and Sam Fisher (also heavent checked up on his game) teaming up to figure out some strange new phenomenon that’s just causing everything to go wrong.

Along the way they find this weird limbless crypdid. It’s unaware what exactly it’s deal is or why it follows them, and nobody can understand it’s language. But for some reason Desmond dubs it ‘Rayman’ for some reason and it seems to actually be the creatures name.

Jade is the one that takes the best liking to him. Due to him being great with the kids.

This was probably my favorite scenario I made with this concept. Basically someone is trying to make Jade do the whole Femm Fateal thing and like her CL counterpart she does not do the whole seductive misstress thing. Thankfully Rayman steps up to take her place.

He managed to do a really good job on the mission.

Jade looks better in a tux anyways.

It’s really funny how like every single important character in Captain Laserhawk is either from a another Ubisoft title or based on something from another Ubisoft title except for Laserhawk

Laserhawk’s boyfriend Alex Taylor? Literally the main character from The Crew which out of all of them is the weirdest because they’re nothing alike (except Laserhawk does go on a mission of vengeance like Alex does in the game but Alex ends up not killing the person he wanted to kill)

Jade and her uncle? Main characters from Beyond, Good & Evil and the entire concept of Hybrids comes from that too

Just straight up WWE wrestlers but they aren’t Ubisoft so they don’t really count

Sarah and Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell

The entire DedSec crew from Watch_Dogs 2 although only 2 are name dropped other than Marcus

They don’t even use actual characters from Blood Dragon like Rex Power Colt or his daughters not even Omega Force like I don’t even think the guns from the Blood Dragon game are in the show

It’s pretty much the UbiVerse crossover I’ve always wanted but wrapped in a goofy ass capitalist hellscape world

The new Beyond Good & Evil remaster is so close to getting it but they still mess with the art style in annoying ways. The main thing seems to be a new lighting engine and redoing a lot of character models and materials (the textures that make up surfaces and how they are lit).

I appreciate the higher detail models, but a lot of the beauty of this game was how it (and Rayman 2) look hand painted. Adding realistic skin textures just makes it look like everybody's covered in sandpaper and I did not need to be able to see the thread count in jackets.

And the new lighting seems to wash out skin tones a lot more often, too. I saw some people crying that Jade has been whitewashed but if you look at the green parts of her clothes, it's just how the whole scene is color corrected now.

You got so close, Ubisoft! But, like... nobody is asking for 7% more realism in this art style. Either remake the entire game from scratch (don't) or leave the visuals alone. Technology is not a substitute for art.
