Had a Wildlife Drawing class that clashed with an Archery Staff Meeting, so ended up drawing on the shooting range until immediately before the start of the meeting.

I was gutted when I had to put the drawing down, and couldn’t wait to use my day off to finish this piece!

We were joined by Anna from ARCAS Guatemala who told us amazing and terrifying facts about Harpy Eagles. They’re up to 1.50m tall. Up to 12kg heavy. Their nests are 6ft in diameter. And their talons are the same size as those of a Grizzly bear!!

I love them and I wish to meet and hug one!!! lol

I like the idea of Athena being gigantic even in her owl form because it would be obvious that she is not a regular owl, something divine. Definitely not of this world.(And I like the image of big owlthena on Odysseus's shoulder)

Anyway, imagine that Odysseus fell asleep one day, and Athena let him because it'd more efficient if he got proper rest.(No, she is not getting attached to this mortal, how dare you assume such a thing)
