Bill Cobbs was one of Hollywood’s most prolific character actor. He appeared in both film and television and stole every scene that he appeared in.

Born Wilbert Francisco Cobbs on June 16, 934 in Cleveland,Ohio. He passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 90 years young.

Before acting he in the United States Air Force as a radar technician. In 1970, at the age of 36, he left for New York to seek work as an actor. He supported himself with a multitude of jobs as he worked towards his dream, his big break.

Demolition Man will be released on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray on December 17 via Arrow Video. Laurie Greasley designed a new cover for the 1993 sci-fi action film; the original artwork is on the reverse side.

Marco Brambilla directs from a script by Daniel Waters, Robert Reneau, and Peter M. Lenkov. Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, Sandra Bullock, and Nigel Hawthorne star.

The film has been newly restored in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative, approved by Brambilla, with Dolby Vision. Both the the domestic "Taco Bell" and international "Pizza Hut" versions are included via seamless branching.

BILL COBBS (1934-Died June 25th 2024,at 90). American actor, known for such film roles as Louisiana Slim in The Hitter (1979), Walter in The Brother from Another Planet (1984), Reginald in Night at the Museum (2006) and Master Tinker on Oz the Great and Powerful (2013). He also played Lewis Coleman on I'll Fly Away (1991–1993), Jack on The Michael Richards Show (2000), and had guest appearances on Walker, Texas Ranger and The Sopranos. In 2012, he had a reoccurring role as George in the sitcom, Go On. 📽️ Hope Floats (1998)

I didn’t like this movie the first time I watched it, but I wanted to give it another try so I watched it again. I still am not a fan. It’s one of the more boring chick flicks I’ve watched, and something about it makes me uncomfortable. I don’t like the relationship between Sandra Bullock’s and Harry Connick, Jr.’s characters, the daughter is a brat, and the whole town is annoying. There are too many plot points that are just totally unbelievable. I will avoid watching this one again.

Sex/nudity: 3/10 (kissing, talk of an affair, implied sex)

Language: 2/10 (pretty mild but there is a little bit of cursing)

Violence: 1/10 (one instance of a schoolyard-type fight)

Overall rating: 4/10
