I’m actually not late for his bday, woo! He’s also very purple.

Inspired by @blondeaxolotl’s animal twst cast. (Sorry about the @) Go check out their art. It’s really cool and has inspired me a lot and I want to hug it.

I originally sent it in via my main account (and connected it to 🔆anon since tumblr doesn’t let you send things from side accounts) but this is really the only one I post stuff on.

I was going to do a bit more (clean up line art more and do a fully hamster Riddle plus a Trey, maybe the Tweels) but this took ~10 hrs on and off so that will have to be later.

My ideas for the characters are below the cut

So far the animals I’ve thought of for everyone (not a complete list:

Riddle - Hamster

Trey - Bear

Cater - Probably red panda (saw red panda Cater elsewhere and loved it)

Ace - Probably cat or fox

Deuce - Probably dog or chicken

Epel - Bunny (obviously)

Rook - Owl (likely a horned owl because they look cool)

Savannaclaw, Octavinelle, and Diasomnia (not Silver) - The animals they are/are connected to in canon (I just need to figure out how to draw Azul. I shockingly have ideas for the Tweels.)

Feel free to give ideas or suggestions.

I know English as my native language.

I know some Dutch and slight bits of Japanese. But I’m still very much a beginner in both. (I also know a few words in other languages Finnish, German, Chinese, Spanish, and probably more. But that’s just a couple words. Also some ASL.)

you really need to raise your standards for what's considered "a phrase" because if it only makes sense in the specific context of the post it was originally found in and it isn't repeatable in other situations, that's not a phrase that has entered the lexicon, that's just something someone said one time.

What doesn't alter your vocabulary may alter, or may have already altered, someone else's. This is not about adding to The General Lexicon - I have an entire tag for things that change this site as a whole, which has a higher bar; this is largely about novelty and humor. This is us curb-stomping whatever the fuck we want into the right form for our needs, whatever those needs may be, including altering aspects of the phrase to fit the necessary format or context. It's a linguistic shotgun.
