I don’t even know why I invest myself into boruto, all it is for me is stress. I hate it. I just want Sasuke to be safe, these spoilers are killing me! An anime shouldn’t be stressful to a point where it makes you feel sick. Bro wtf, plz just save Sasuke and leave him be with his family! Uuuggghhhhhh

Who do u guys think makes bingo books. Is there like. A committee? Are there village specific bingo books? I feel like there is, right? Does that mean all the villages are just constantly playing catch up with eachothers books?
Before the villages, did they still have bingo books? Who made them then? Did each clan have their own books? And different webs of allied clans would have better, bigger, more informed books because they had access to eachothers information? If there was a general "good" bingo book with the best, most reliable information, then who was compiling that? Was it a specific guy or a group? With how isolated and uncooperative so many clans were back then, if the books were maintained by individual clans, then there must have been so many types of bingo books. Or maybe there were a few specific clans who would produce them...? I can see that as a Nara thing.
Id like to believe some nin like collecting old bingo books.
From enemies, as trophies. Bought from markets or found in old abandoned shinobi bases and clan homes. Passed down from a grandfather along with stories of having faced off with the unfamiliar, powerful nin from ages past recorded inside them.... the options are limitless.
I think many nin add their own little notes to their own bingo books, opinions, doodles, theories on enemy nin, etc. So collectors will value books with notes in it, especially if the books used to belong to a famous shinobi (cool insight into their mind !!) or is really old (cool time capsule comments on shinobi from forever ago !!)
You can make some serious money on an old bingo book filled with personal notes that belonged to a famous shinobi...
Rumor has it the first Hokage's bingo book was sold off by Tsunade to cover her gambling debts. And that when the Nidaime's bingo book dissapeared into the pockets of one of his students after his death, people were straight up ready to kill to get it back— but no one knew who'd taken it (it was Danzo)
Jiriyah lost his old bingo book from the war in a bet, and was surprisingly, genuinley upset over it die to the sentimental value. It was sold for some crazy money later on, as it had personal notes and doodles from all sorts of famous shinobi inside of it
Jiriyah, Tsunade and Orochimaru all drew over eachothers photos in their section of the book, and all three left sarcastic comments in many a corners. Minato left his own comment or two, as Jiriyah asked him to sign his own page after he broke S rank, to celebrate. Then Sarutobi also left some comments here and there too, and Sakumo had actually left more than a few— signing his own page, writing a little congratulations under Minato's S rank, drawing a wolf in the corner of Orchimaru's page after Jiriyah insisted he join him in defacing it, etc.
Jiriyah's bingo book being his team's official unofficial shared bingo book... all three of the sanin tossing it around and marking off shinobi they'd fought, leaving stupid notes and doodles for the others to find later, getting other shinobi to sign it on their own pages.....
I think a lot of shinobi do similar things with "personalizing" their own books, but the sanin certainly ended up creating one of the most valuable with their own endeavors
And then in Boruto, bingo books are probable even more of a collectors item. Especially w shinobi becoming even more commercialized / sort of idol-ified
Just like how some middle aged dad's will save up their baseball card collection to one day sell, telling their children it will be their college fund one day, shinobi are doing similar things with their bingo books
(One of the most valuable editions of the bingo book was the one produced exclusively during the war with Madara, covering many, many shinobi, both dead and alive. Only so many ended up being printed, as the war ended up being shorter than expected, and while there are newer knockoffs and reprints, OG books from that period can make some crazy money.)

Anyways, gonna put this under a read more. For context, I've watched a video on YouTube trying to justify why Narusaku would've made more sense than Sasusaku, and as you can imagine, the comments section had people rightfully hating on SS but by siding with Sakura and putting the whole blame on Sasuke, accusing him of being an abuser and whatnot. So, this is a response to those people under the cut:
Can Sakura stans please, stop blaming Sasuke for Sasusaku? Accusing him of being abusive or that he doesn't deserve her, cause she should've ended up with Naruto, Rock-Lee, or worse, there's also the girlies who believe Sakura was a closeted lesbian and had feelings for Ino! When she's as straight as a ruler, lol. Sasuke never wanted Sakura. He told her on multiple occasions that he doesn't want her. That he thinks she's annoying, that Naruto and Itachi are the only bonds he cares about. She's the one who kept obsessively simping and chasing after him, and crying and pouting like a baby, whenever he didn't pay attention to her.
The scene in the war arc, where she tried to act all cool by charging at Madara in his sague of 6 paths form, unable to see his clones and Sasuke and Naruto had to rescue her? She was doing it for Sasuke's attention cause she pouts and gets sad when she sees he doesn't care about her. When Kaguya showed up and she started switching dimensions and at one point switched to a lava dimension, and they started falling? Sasuke summoned his hawk and chose to rescue only Naruto, even when Naruto had the unlocked ability to levitate while ignoring Kakashi and Sakura. If it weren't for Kashi, Sakura would've fallen into the lava and died. Same with him covering team 7 with his Susanoo when the Tsukuyomi was first launched: he explicitly said he only wanted to protect Naruto cause he was necessary to end the war, he didn't care bout Kashi and Sakura. They just got lucky to be standing next to Naruto when it happened.
At one point, before Sasuke put her in that genjutsu of him stabbing her through the chest, she literally started crying and complaining about him not loving her or caring about her, to the point that, Kakashi started coddling her as he always does, also insisting to Sasuke that 'Sakura's feelings are pure and genuine and she only cares about him and how can he not see that.'
Sasuke tried making it clear to her time and time again that he's not interested, yet she cannot for the life of her, get it through her thick skull and leave him alone. Guys, Sarada canonically exists, only cause Sakura kept harassing Sasuke on his travels outta the village and chasing after him, until he gave in and fucked her. In one of the Naruto novels (not the trash written by Jun Esaka. I think it was Sakura retsuden or hidden or smth). She herself has a line saying that she'd never stop chasing Sasuke, and would keep insisting and harassing him till he accepted her feelings. That's highkey criminal behavior. She's a stalker and she asked for the loveless marriage she's stuck in now. That's what she wanted. She should've known with that 'oh so great intelligence of her' (note the sarcasm) before she started chasing him that it was very likely she'd end up pregnant and a single mother to boot. Because Sasuke doesn't love her.
It's further proven in Boruto, in that one arc where Sarada first meets Sasuke and shit? Heavily implying Sasuke never kissed her, and when he sees Sakura injured from her fight with Shin (the weirdo with the multiple sharingan ) he barely shows any concern, he's just like 'yeah, you can heal yourself, whatever'. At the end of the arc when he's leaving again, he just gives her a look and doesn't even bother with a forehead poke (and it's not a signal of love like SS fans like to believe).
SS is a trash ship and not because of Sasuke who got dragged into it against his will, ruining his character in the process, but solely because of Sakura. She's not the victim just cause she's a girl, ya'll. She's the active perpetrator. If the roles were switched and Sasuke was the one obsessively chasing Sakura everyone would recognize that behavior as toxic and criminal, but just because she's the one doing it and Sasuke constantly refused her she's a victim? Utter bs, lol.

I've seen you draw SasuSaku art from time to time, but I have to ask do you like them? Because I remember anon asked you a question about the Naruto ending and you complained that you hate SasuSaku because of their development and chemistry so I'm a little confused, do you like SasuSaku or not?
Hi anon, your question is understandable because the truth is I have a love-hate relationship with SasuSaku. Overall, they seem cute together and aesthetic wise they fit well together but as much as I ship them I also don't. It's very complicated for me to explain because it's the same as loving someone, because you love them but a part of you also hates them for their flaws, that's how I feel about SasuSaku. I believe they could've been an amazing power couple if Kishimoto actually knew how to write romance. And as a part of me does ship them another part me also knows that they probably would be better off together because they aren't that healthy for one another, especially Sakura who refused to let Sasuke go.
Especially in the manga we hardly see them together or even show some romantic gesture. The novels aren't canon and neither is Sasuke Retsuden that was written by Jun Eska and even in the anime it's all filler. I mainly draw them together because like I said I find them together aesthetic wise but their overall relationship is very odd. I hope I'm making sense in what I'm trying to say because I have a hard time trying to explain my feelings like this but I hope I answered your question.

thoughts on naruhina + boruto and their...family
Will preface this by saying that this is a combination of observation and analysis and if you don't agree with me, take this with a grain of salt and scroll away.
(If you're a naruhina/nh shipper, do yourself a favor and scroll away because this isn't your cup of tea.)
sasusaku + sarada version.
Personally, it's almost emotionally triggering for me to watch the NH family because it reminded me of what my family dynamic used to be and witnessing it unfold in the sequel from a viewer's perspective made me realize how dysfunctional it is and what could've been done better.
Let's start at the issue at hand: Naruto not coming home, being too busy as Hokage to the point that he misses important family events like birthdays.
Boruto's reaction to the issue is realistic, especially to a kid that doesn't understand. I'm not saying that Naruto doesn't have a contribution to that mess at all (it's worse when you realize that he would rather be in his office worrying about the number of headbands than be with his family but that is a separate discussion that I will dive on in the near future, among other things). Basically, he wanted his father to be, well, present, so he does everything to get his attention. And no, those pranks aren't pointless. Being a Hokage means attending public functions and being involved with the community and what's the best freaking way to get your dad's attention by embarrassing him while on the job (which happens to be the same thing that stands between him being a good father)? Now, this wouldn't escalate into massive proportions like cheating-on-the-Chunin-exams level if Hinata was able to placate and explain things to her son.
In terms of explaining, there are several things to consider:
realizing the issue
being logical about the reasons
seeing eye to eye with your kid, emphasizing on how your kid perceived this issue emotionally and determining what they want
not making excuses and stating the reasons in the perspective that your kid can understand
openly communicating the issue to the ones in concern and expressing your stance on this, hearing them out, and reaching a consensus (or a conclusion)
But the thing is, Hinata herself doesn't see the problem, thus eliminating the chance to see her kid eye-to-eye on this particular issue--given that they aren't on the same page from the start. It's baffling as well as concerning to see that she doesn't have any qualms with her husband making a secondary residence in the Hokage Office, sleeping on the couch and not on their shared bed, overworking himself to the point that even his freaking advisor tells him to go the fuck home, would rather eat cup ramen than enjoy a home cooked meal, and the tipping point: is okay with her husband sending a clone to celebrate their daughter's birthday.
And her telling Boruto that his father is the Hokage and it's a busy position pretty much doesn't cover how fucked up the issue is. Boruto could easily counter that with well Shikadai's dad is the Hokage advisor but he can go home so what's stopping mine from doing the same? In short, she keeps on excusing the behavior which in turn gives off that Naruto prioritizes the job the most and their family clearly comes second and oh my, does that sound so appealing on a child's ears? Definitely not.
The point is, a kid would go through drastic measures to find the assurance and approval that they need especially if it wasn't provided to them. The pranks stopped when Sasuke entered the picture. He was able to talk to Boruto about his dad. Give opinions about Naruto as the person, not just someone in a high position. That's exactly what Boruto needed to hear.
Now you may wonder why Sasuke was able to do this and not Hinata? That's because Sasuke pretty much understands Naruto and he is able to provide more input about Naruto outside of his achievements and position. Not to mention that Sasuke pretty much took Boruto under his wing to train him if he wanted to defeat his dad. And one thing about Sasuke is he isn't pretty much holding back when he calls out Boruto, something I've noticed that Hinata wasn't able to do. Watching the scene of Sasuke scolding Boruto in front of his own mother is pretty funny because why is your husband's best friend giving off mother more than you?

If I had to change something about Boruto, it’d be the characters. Not that they don’t have a good basis, it’s just that their potential was absolutely wasted. They feel soulless. Like they have no personality whatsoever.
And I know that factually they’re all very unique like Chocho, Sarada and Kawaki, they all have the potential to be very motivating characters in their own right.
Except they aren’t.
Kawaki is a mirror to Sasuke, we’re meant to see him as Boruto’s rival with a tragic backstory. A brother, a sun and moon narrative that’s a complete replica of Sasuke and Naruto.
And that’s where the problem lays. They’re all just replicas of someone else. The og series also had this issue of making new characters like old ones e.g. Sakura & Rin, Sasuke & Madara etc. but those were actually well done. This is just a cash grab trying to replicate the previous series.
The Boruto series should stop trying to be something it’s not and actually embrace itself as a new idea while also NOT ruining previous characters. Ame was left in ruin, something Naruto never would’ve stood for, the boy we grew to love in the previous series is unrecognisable. And I get it, people change, which would’ve been cool and all to see if it wasn’t so poorly done.
For what reason does Naruto genuinely have to act like this? Yeah, he has a village to run that’s been booming ever since the war, except he has advisors in Ino, Shikamaru, Sakura and literally every clan head is on his side. His village is best friends with every other village. There is hardly any conflict. And you’re telling me he can’t come to his children’s birthday party? Mr ‘I want to be Hokage so people won’t look down on me’? But also he wants that because he has no family so he wants the villagers to love him. And he forsakes his family, who’ve loved him since the beginning, so easily?
They ruin old characters to the point where they may as well be from another universe because if they were half the people they actually were, that’d stop the conflicts before they start. And yeah, maybe the previous main character overshadowing the new one is a bad thing, I get that.
But if they were going to character assassinate Naruto as a way to solve this, I’d rather they have him killed before the main Boruto series started. That’d cause conflict. The pillar of peace just dying. Or like, anything else. There was no need to ruin Naruto for a soulless series like Boruto that only focuses on power ups.
And I know there’s going to be people who think the power ups are cool, that the two blue vortex is actually kind of cool. But that’s because literally every other character from the Naruto series is gone so that they can’t overshadow Boruto.
Naruto and Hinata? In another dimension. Kurama? In Himawari and weaker. Sasuke? In a tree. Gaara? Also in another dimension. Everyone is gone, and yeah, it’s tragic, but the shock effect wore off after Sasuke, it’s overdone now.
Every single character with depth is gone or hardly in the series. Sakura gets to stay because she’s a medic ig but as soon as Sarada needs a more dramatic route to her story, I guarantee she’s getting sealed off too.
The authors are scared to kill off actually important characters from the og series but are more than willing to ruin them. Everything is about them. Not Boruto.
No one was going to be happy with Boruto, I get that, people hate sequels. But the genuine apathy radiating off of that work kills me. The shock factor is over, move on.
I have so much more to rant about but I’ll end it here or I’ll never stop.

It breaks me that Naruto would have much rather have a present father than a dead hero of a parent and then BORUTO threw that into the trash and made Naruto exactly what he wouldn't have been ever.

⚠️ WARNING: LONG RANT AHEAD
I don't wanna do it on twt but freaking Salad's design on that timeskip... Sorry but it makes her look like she is just there to be a doll, like the rest of the girls (heck I am still icked that basically all of them needs their legs to be shown?? Ike what the f?? ) isn't she basically an Uchiha? If she aims to be a Hokage she has to be just as skilled (not freaking aimed to be saved like what kind of vision is that IkE??? Making her look like a freakin damsel in distress)
And the heels... how are you supposed to fight in those high heels? I am forever bitter with the design. More focused on creating a visual that would appease a certain kind of "crowd" (Idk maybe Ike is part of it), than the storytelling of it all. (And I know some in the Akatsuki wore heels and even Tsunade but THEY WERE GROWN WOMEN WITH EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS vs 16 year old who is still in training??? A chunin?? Their ranks are different. And Salad have platforms on top of those heels, how are you gonna jump and run and kick and ninja with those smh)
*lots of casuals were dragging the design btw, saying stuff like Salad is basically going to a night club and Burrito looks like he got three people under his cloak*
Bruh Naruto trained to catch up to Sasuke and stand with him as an equal.. I dont know what is the even the goal for this story. And the whole Momo-whatever-the-heck inside Burrito is just another reason for Burrito to get something just like how Naruto has kurama. He still gets to be overtaken by that and still can't control it. And apparently something might happen to Sasuke Bec of it.
.
And finally this abomination:
Tumblr media
What kind of a stance is this??? Like those weird cringe anime girls where their feet are skewed and legs bent inward???? How is this a fighting pose??
I can't believe she is supposed to be Sasuke's daughter.

fave season of Naruto and why
AHHHH!!
okay, so. i didn’t watch naruto season-by-season, but i could give you my favourite arcs.
for og naruto, definitely the sasuke retrieval arc which had all sorts of inexplicable homosexual yearning between naruto and sasuke yada yada yada but it also gave a lot of characters more development, which is a problem the series does struggle with!
for shippuden? well. it’s the master’s prophecy and vengeance arc. how could it not be? it includes the fated battle between sasuke & itachi (and then sasuke also finding out the truth after) and half of my reason for watching shippuden that far was because i knew the battle was coming. it’s definitely my favourite arc oat, and i would say the war arc but that shit was two hundred episodes.
my honourable mention is kakashi’s anbu days, even though it is filler! they were interesting and provided a lot of world building for anbu (the uh elite assassination group where half of the recruits are literal children) which i found especially interesting. oh, and itachi screen time. i miss him very dearly.

Why NejiTen should be canon
Before I say anything, I can recognise that NejiTen is not canon, although I want it to be lol. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, so I ask that you respect mine, and if you want to challenge it, you can *politely* do that in the comments.
The major countering ships to NejiTen are: NejiHina and LeeTen, so I will talk you through why these ships don't work out.
First with LeeTen (because I don't want you quitting after the drama of NejiHina). Lee and Tenten are seen as very close throughout the series, though Tenten makes it clear that she finds Lee annoying and hot-blooded. This is the opposite to Neji, who Tenten seems to admire a lot, since she liked to train with him, and even put on lipstick in the manga for his chūnin exam finals. They seem like the perfect best friend duo, in my opinion. Romance doesn't need to be involved in every since best friend duo, there are enough of them already. In the Boruto series, Lee is seen with his son, Metal Lee. Many think that Tenten is the mother, due to the eye shape, and I think she could easily be. I mean, she's the only kunoichi in Konoha in the same age group as Lee (I think, I haven't fact checked yet), and the girl in his team. Tenten is probably the easiest choice for Lee's wife that Kishimoto could've made. However, if they were to be married and have had a son together, they would now be divorced. This therefore means, that if they had got married, then the relationship would not have worked out, and LeeTen would've failed. If they had not got together, then Lee would've married a different woman, and even if Lee then divorced that mystery woman, they clearly do not have mutual feelings for each other any more. They might have had feelings for each other, at different stages of their lives, but they either both grew out of their crushes or it was only one-sided to begin with.
Second. The NejiHina incident. I'm sorry, but I will have to go on for even longer than LeeTen, because some people don't understand that this ship is incest, and I'll tell you why. Excluding the fact that Neji had strong resentment towards Hinata for quite a period of time, they still wouldn't work out. Their relationship only evolved into *family* love, as confirmed by Kishimoto, just as Boruto loves Himawari, or Temari loves Gaara. What's wrong with a "big brother-little sister love"? Why must everyone make everything romantic? Neji cares deeply for his cousin, as does Hinata. She calls him 'Big Brother Neji', showing that she only sees him as her older brother. Besides, Hinata was so deeply in love with Naruto, she would've never agreed to the marriage. Moving on, a lot of people, from a range of cultures, some of which invite cousin relationships, think that Neji and Hinata getting married and producing heirs is okay. Some of them (purposely?) forget that the reason you don't have kids with your sibling is because it increases the chance of genetic defects dramatically. Although having kids with your cousin is legal (at least where I am), it still has quite a high risk. These people try and back it up by saying that the Hyūga clan would've wanted a pure Hyūga-blooded heir. Hm... Uchiha clan, anyone? Sure, this was common, but there are plenty Uchihas that are so distantly related that it would be fine to have offspring (such as Itachi and Izumi). The same could be said about the Hyūgas. Maybe Neji would've been their best option for a pure blood husband, but there would've been other choices, more people that were much further distanced in relation. I've got this far, and I haven't even mentioned another key fact: you know that Hiashi and Hizashi are twin brothers, right? Identical twins, to be exact. Lemme show you something: "Identical (i.e., monozygotic, or MZ) twins share 100 percent of their genes". You see that? It means that Hiashi and Hizashi share the same DNA. And this means that Neji and Hinata are genetically closer than cousins. They're actually genetically half-siblings. Hm. The Hyūgas are smart enough to figure out that it probably isn't the best idea to inbreed them, right? Well. That doesn't matter, because even if they overlooked all this incestuous evidence, there's this. Hinata isn't even the current heiress. If Neji survived the war, he would not have married Hinata in Boruto. If the Hyūga clan forced him to marry the heiress, and have children to keep a pure bloodline, he would've married Hanabi. Hanabi is the current heiress, so she would be the one married to Neji. Got it yet? Neji and Hinata would never have happened.
The last reason NejiTen should be canon: their chemistry. Tenten is shown to greatly admire and respect Neji, constantly calling him a genius, and she has blushed because of him in the manga several times. He believed in her abilities enough to sit under the practice dummy she was hitting with kunai. Neji comments that her fight would be interesting, showing that he thinks she is a good fighter. He is also shocked at her defeat, further proving that. In the first databook, Kishimoto confirms that Neji and Tenten trained every day for a month in preparation for Neji's chūnin match against Naruto. During this training, Neji reverse engineered and perfected the moves only reserved for the main branch of the Hyūga clan, mainly the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms and the Eight Trigrams Palms: Revolving Heaven. You should also note that while all the other contestants trained with jōnin, Neji chose to train with Tenten. "During one of their training sessions, birds are shown flying in the sky and Tenten tells him that she is exhausted and can't keep going. Neji responds that he thinks he used too much of his chakra and faints. Tenten is seen running to him and asks him if he's alright." Tenten wore a different outfit to watch Neji's match, and as I said, in the manga she also wore lipstick. After his fight with Kidomaru, Neji remembers seeing Lady Tsunade with Tenten. In the Shippuden, during Team Gai's fight with Kisame, Neji rushes to Tenten's side when she seems to struggle in the Water Prison.
Tumblr media
In the image above, it shows the two finishing each other's sentences. They can communicate with little dialogue and know what the other is thinking with only one word. Tenten winks at Neji and invites him to go to the bathhouse with her, both in the anime and the manga. Later, after Neji's death, in the manga, she expresses anger, thinks about Neji and asks why he left her. In her memory, Neji doing the "nice guy pose," which has been performed in the past by Gai, Naruto and Lee. The pose signifies that one will keep their promise until death, as Lee states to Sakura during the beginning of the Sasuke retrieval arc after Naruto does the pose and promises to her that he will get Sasuke back. Neji doing this pose before Tenten implies that he promised her something that he intended to fulfill until his death. In the anime, Tenten holds her hands in a prayer and asks why he left her as she remembers Neji doing this "nice guy pose" to her, then she walks away crying and says that she's never going to forgive him. The implied promise that Neji made to her is not known, but it was significant enough for Neji, who tends to be stoic and serious, to use the cheerful and significant pose his "hot-blooded" sensei and teammate have used in the past. When caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, Tenten dreams of more mature versions of Lee and Gai as well as Neji being alive and by her side. She's the only person whose Tsukuyomi dream involves not only Neji being alive, but being with him.
They are shown constantly beside one another throughout the entire story, similar to the couples Asuma and Kurenai, and Shikamaru and Temari. While Neji is very formal and strict, he is shown to be comfortable around Tenten. He isn't shown to mind when she teases him or winks at him. He is also rarely portrayed as a character who apologizes to anyone, but he is shown apologizing to Tenten. In both the manga and anime, birds are present during the scenes where Neji and Tenten are shown alone together. In the manga, the only male character Tenten is shown alone with is Neji.
Other Trivia include:
Tenten's name and Neji's themes compliment each other. "Tenten" literally translates to "heaven heaven" in Chinese, while "Hyūga" translates to "place in heaven." In the new Chūnin Exams arc, Neji is shown holding two heaven scrolls with the characters 天天
Tenten's weapons shop in Boruto is named 忍具転転転, which directly translates to "Ninja Tools Turn Turn Turn." Furthermore, the characters "具転転" in the name translate to "revolving." Thus, the name of Tenten's weapons shop can be a reference to one of Neji's primary moves, Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven.
During the blank period, Tenten wears a uniform that includes a dress with a flame pattern similar to the flame in the Hyūga clan's emblem.
Neji and Tenten are depicted as compatible: the Databooks reveal that Neji is a Cancer and Tenten is a Pisces. In Western astrology, Cancer and Pisces are considered a compatible and harmonious pairing. The Databooks list Neji's blood type as O and Tenten's blood type as B. The blood type personality theory popular in Japan considers O and B blood types romantically compatible.
Neji, during his death, is portrayed as a Phoenix on fire. In the anime, Tenten utilizes the moves "Twin Rising Dragons" and "Exploding Dragon Strike." In Chinese folklore, the Phoenix and Dragon pair symbolize perfect harmony and balance between yin (Phoenix) and yang (Dragon).
Among the Konoha 11, Neji and Tenten were the only ones who were 18 years old during the Shinobi war, whereas Naruto and Hinata were 16 years old and the rest were 17.
Neji and Tenten share the same hairstyles as Hashirama Senju and his wife Mito Uzumaki.

封 ✑ Regarding that previous reblog from my personal, I think Boruto-era Sai is, like, one of Sakura and Sasuke's quietest yet most vocal 'cheerleaders', in a sense. He thinks of Sakura as his closest and dearest best friend (and so does his wife), so he just wants her to be happy in whatever form that takes, even if he privately has criticisms of their dynamic or how it's affecting Sarada.

When I say I dislike boruto “filler” I will NEVER mean the (rant post apparently? It just kept going idk)
Kagura/hidden mist/funato clan arc, rogue mitsuki arc, time travel arc and the prison arc
I literally have an oc from the funato clan and the Hōzuki clan💔💔 and I’m a borumitsu shipper so I’m legally required to like the rogue mitsuki arc, the time travel arc is just peak idc and the prison arc I like in general though it does help to have borumitsu moments
This is definitely my uzumaki clan bias but I wish we would’ve seen a bit of crumbs even in the filler just because kishi set it up so long ago and it’s still waiting to be used.
And for some of the boruto official art, someone gotta check the artists hard drive bc why are sarada and chocho drawn like THAT… literal 11-13 yos being drawn in such a weird way. And don’t get me started on how I somehow just found out that eida is 16 IN PART ONE???
This was just supposed to be a short post but it just kept going on😭

Why the hell are all of my questions from Lumity haters? Like I rarely post any Lumity and this is a Naruto/Boruto account in general but the fact that lots of people feel the need to shit on Lumity on my blog is really irritating and most of the questions are anonymous so I don't know who the hell is sending me these asks.

I don’t think that Kishimoto realizes that Neji and Boruto “screwing/bolting” NaruHina together isn’t romantic. That’s not what love is my guy. If two people need someone to die and have a child to love each other and stay in each other’s lives, they aren’t in love. What they are are two people in a forced relationship.

You know what? Boruto shouldn’t have been the main character of his own show. He was always set up for failure with the legacy of Naruto behind him. I fully believe he could’ve been a good character if the show wasn’t focused around him.
Having someone new and unknown come in could’ve added a layer to the series would’ve added mystery to the show again. There is nothing left to be discovered with Boruto since we know all we need to know about him, all we have to look forward to is the occasional plot twist and even those are boring.
Another character holding the shows perspective would’ve been great to separate the old characters with the new. It would’ve made the manga its own thing instead of just ‘Naruto’s shitty sequel’.
Someone like Sumire would’ve been cool to see the shows perspective from considering her dad was a former root agent, gave her some mysterious power and told her to infiltrate Konoha. That would’ve been a more interesting twist as we see things from the eyes of a little girl who, contrary to Naruto, has no reason to like Konoha.
Or maybe even Kawaki. It would’ve been a more detailed and heart wrenching way to introduce Kara without it looking like a knock off Akatsuki.
Honestly, even a random kid entering the academy would’ve been a better introduction to the series.
