imagine how fucking insane it would've made everyone if the showrunners had had Charles kiss Edwin on the steps of Hell.

Like yeah "I can't say that I'm like, in love with you. But there's no one else, no one else I'd go to hell for. And we've got forever to figure the rest of it out" is beautiful. And the season 2 conclusion of them getting together would've been so sweet.

BUT ROMANCE IN HELL?!
