Bucky was always a little jealous of the attention Kristen got, until she leaves.

After she leaves he realises, oh, she hasn't slept alone in bed since Bricker was five because either he or Cork would crawl into her bed when they had nightmares. And she had to hold off on healing herself sometimes because -3 dex runs in the family and she had save spell energy for if Cork tripped and fell down the stairs again. And wow did he never realise just how hard it was to take verses from the Corn Bible and use them to stop their parents going on and on until their shouting at Bricker for something Bucky knows he tried in the past and Kristen came to his defence.

The first day of school with kids is really fucking hard, Aelwyn Abernant finds. She’s handling it with all the grace and humility of an Abernant, of course, which means, picking out the ones who can take direct shit and ones who need to be danced about with by purposefully mispronouncing every single name on her attendance sheet. The first name on her list is one Bricker Applebees. That, she realizes, is the name of one of her baby sister’s party members, right? She twists it into a mockery of an elven accent, the way old-ass Council members try to pronounce their teenanger’s slang, and his sigh rivals Adaine’s, he sounds so annoyed. He’s sitting sideways in his chair, one arm draped over the side and the other one flipping a pencil, and she looks at him and asks, “yes, Applebees?”, carefully mispronouncing every syllable differently than she did the first time.

Porotherm Bricks <3

Porotherm clay bricks are in my opinion one of the greatest brick options out there. A environmentally sustainable brick made out of primarily recycled claw, sawdust and ash which is both easier to construct with and lighter compared to traditional bricks! Its like giant legos you just slide right on into the groves.

I also love the different variants of them, with dedicated load bearing and non load bearing brick. Both of which can be further customised to become thermo bricks with increased insulation, or to include the dry fix system which doesn't even require traditional mortar, only glue!! Its incredible!!!

Once you start including chicken wire and splatter dash plaster you'll have some incredibly resistant walls that resist micro fractures, keep your temperature stable and look fucking incredible.

Quite frankly i don't even care we live in the "boring" future and aren't in space or whatever, we literally have smart bricks!!. Once you include the fact these bricks are only roughly 20 years since their original creation it becomes even more exciting to think about how they'll spread in the future! Honestly this is even more exciting than AAC bricks!!!!
