ha haaa!! hsdfshjkl you're too kind 💛 i promise i am ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ᴀ ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛᴜʀᴇ!! i've gotten a reaction like this a few times recently & it's bewildering (like in the nice way of finding a dollar in my pocket) & is also encouraging me to clamber out of my foul grotto more often for cheap jump scares... 👁️ i really enjoy your work... the COLORS!! & i very much appreciate the kindness re: my own, hopefully soon i will have more things!!

it's always so fun to meet people who appreciate TEW!! lightning in a bottle... i could ramble about it... it was subject to a lot of industry nonsense, yet they still managed to put together something that stole many hearts for several years (Leslie was my little dude... protect that guy...) & then do it again 3 years later. the first things i drew 6 years after the mishap that wrecked my eyesight were those characters, & Stefano was a lot of that momentum. ended up meeting my wife through him, even!! & after that the unhinged singularly reverent hyperfocus was simply my jam. it's also funny to find parallels between him and Wally... the neckwear, the eccentric hair, weird eyes & eye motifs, apparently overpowered to some degree with a highly specific caveat, visual artist, connection to some old tech, very particular shoes, heavy blue & red color scheme, steward & victim of a Fucked Up Little World... doesn't seem to wear socks(or people think he doesn't)... ha!! i probably have more stuff about Stefano somewhere. drew him a whole bunch!!

Hello augh it's still so crazy that you followed me back! Your traditional work is so captivating like I don't even know how to describe the mood you manage to capture.

I saw you even did art of Stefano Valentini!!!! I LOVE the evil within! The second game being my favorite only because I have a soft spot for the ridiculous villian Stefano! Seeing an artistically driven villian drawn in SUCH a way was such a delight to see!!!!!!!!!

Craig McCracken is evil cuz you'll look at these designs and go "yeah that looks simple enough. I can draw that." And then you try to draw a powerpuff girl and it looks really weird and you're like oooookay and you try again but it still doesn't look right so you're like. Okay. Okay and you look up all the style guides and model sheets and you realize that while a powerpuff girl is like 2 shapes these characters are all so meticulously designed that if you get even one proportion wrong it'll immediately throw your powerpuff into uncanny valley territory and then you end up will an entire spread of head studies and you STILL can barely draw a dang on model powerpuff girl 💔

The other day I saw that panel again about Toji sleeping around because he needs a roof over his head somehow, and I'm just gonna put this out there, that I'd easily be one of those delusional women who would try to make him fall in love with me. Hell, I'd even try to be his sugar momma/babe with my minimum wage job, lmao

this made me scream lol, sorry but same. i think i could make him change and you know what...in my little head i think it is possible. 

i think he would be reluctant at first, like a stray cat you have to tame. one that pulls back when you try to pet him but slowly gives in as you show him that you are not going to hurt him. 

the first time he sleeps over he makes it clear that it doesn't mean anything, he has a pout and a wrinkled nose, dirty shirt from the drizzle that fell earlier and a band aid you placed on his cheek. even though toji's rules are clear, sex only, you wake up in the middle of the night with his arms wrapped around you, tied around your waist like a knot that you can't get rid of. 

he smells like home, like you. like the detergent you used to wash his clothes, like the shampoo he took without your permission to wash his hair and you can't help but cling to him more in search of that warmth.

the next week he gets trapped in your house when he is putting on his tight shirt and heading out. torrential rains pelted the city, preventing him from seeing the road, so you forced him to watch your favorite show on the couch with treats you had at home and a warm blanket over his legs. 

"we're not a couple," the semi-domesticated cat reminds you with a growl. 

two months later and toji doesn't want to get out of your bed after you have sex, hugs you, snuggles you and refuses to let you out of his grip when you demand that you have to go to work. toji stays in the mornings after breakfast and accepts when you invite him to lunch on your off time.  

"we're not a couple," he reminds you as you put the face mask on him and you can't help but laugh. you have his shirt on and he's in your bathroom half naked with one of your headbands holding his hair back to let you see his face better. 

you help him shave, he rewards you by massaging your back, your feet, fucking you slow and soft in prone bone. toji claims he's not your boyfriend, but slowly the line becomes blurred the day he arrives with a box in his hands with his belongings and doesn't leave again the next day… or the other.
