Genshin impact self insert. but the cringe. it was still in me. so he became an oc 😋 At his core he has always been a horrors inflicted foxguy with blue hair and pronouns (and themes of isolation and connection). You can find his OG character sheets if you scroll back to like. jan 2021 on my IG and his various designs over the following year. He still doesn't have like. an Official official outfit, and especially not since he got converted to Seratis 😭

In universe, it's a German form of a French name, and he was born in Fontaine and moved to Mondstadt when he was a couple years old. So in-universe his name got nuked (localised). Out of universe, I was like. obsessed w dragonspine lore back then bc I made him during or just after the 1.2 update? and I was a lore junkie back then. So I wanted like. a loremaxxing name. From behindthename, "English form of the Polish name Kazimierz, derived from the Slavic element kaziti "to destroy" combined with mirŭ "peace, world"". Additionally, March 4th is Saint Casimir's feast day, which is his birthday. idk if this was intentional or a coinkydink. When he got transmigrated to Seratis, I was already used to calling him Kasimir and didn't care. His home country is loosely based off Central and Northern Europe.

In his character design, he's most often seen with a tight-fitting dark layer and a cloak that generally matches the environment? In genshin and while he lived in Aznara, he had a heavy white-blue and navy cloak. In Aracasia, he typically wears a medium-weight water resistant cloak in a desaturated dark green. He wasn't in Brua for long, but he wore a linen scarf there. It's partially for personal privacy, partially bc. he gets cold. because he is dressed like a slut. also in his OG TL he used his cloak like a hammock and slept in trees. I think he still does this in Seratis when he's travelling.

Kasimir is like. my no.1 oc forever and ever. He has his mother (human) and his father (curabin), and he has his older half sister Alia (human) (but they're not on speaking terms and he dk if she's still alive). Friends to strangers to lovers w Nyx. After they settle down near Rasnam, he meets Marie and they're close (she's rlly involved with community events and forces him to get involved too). He met Hemera a few times, since she's his sister in law and she and Nyx r on good terms despite everything. Kasimir is actually a side character and has some but not a lot of screen time in the plot. My fav thing ever is that he is the light in starlit embrace but he is sso horrors infected he wld never think that in a million years but it's like the most obvious thing ever to Nyx. This is also important to Nyx's post canon character arc where Kasimir dies and it's like the ultimate therapy final boss where they have to develop their identity without Kasimir

I think generally same reasons in and out of universe. Their name is written as 千隼 (lit. thousand falcons) and they and Orobashi have a hawk-snake theme going on.

What is an aspect of their appearance that you like the most?

Under their red and gold kimono-esque robe they're wearing a blue and purple one and btw it was Orobashi's. Also their weapon's blade is crystal marrow.

Som passande når ein er i Syden i oktober starta dagen med eit bad i Adriaterhavet før frukost i Baška Voda. Men til skilnad frå ein vanleg sydenferie tok me deretter turen til Hercegovina i B&H. Ved lunsjtider kom me til Mostar der me vandra rundt i gamlebyen. Kikka på brua Stari Moster som vart nedskoten under Balkankrigen, og var innom eit museum om folkemorda i nemnde krig. Idag kunne me nyte eit mykje fredelegare B&H, og på veg ut av Mostar var me innom Blagaj med Blagaj Tekke. Dagen vart avslutta med innkøyring til Dubrovnik i Kroatia på kvelden.

Je unua rigardo, neniu povus imagi ke iliaj tiel malsamaj vojoj kondukis ilin al la sama destino. Hiroŝi kreskis en brua kvartalo de Jokohamo. Lia infanaĝo estis markita de stratbataloj kun la aliaj knaboj de la areo, kie li evoluigis fortan karakteron kaj laŭtan ridon kiun li uzis por imponi aŭ malarmigi tensiojn. Liaj gepatroj administris malgrandan nutraĵvendejon, kaj la sono de la kasregistrilo ankoraŭ resonis en lia memoro kiel memorigilo pri la oferoj kiujn ili faris por teni lin en la lernejo.

Kenji, aliflanke, naskiĝis en komforta mezklasa familio en Sapporo. Li estis sola infano, kreskigita en medio kie la atendoj estis klaraj: disciplino kaj akademiaj atingoj. Male al Hiroŝi, li ne pasigis siajn posttagmezojn sur la strato, sed en senfinaj studsesioj sub la strikta rigardo de sia patrino. La semajnfinojn, anstataŭ ludi, li ĉeestis klasojn de abakuso kaj kaligrafio. La sola ribelo, kiun Kenji permesis al si, estis lia sekreta pasio por ĵazo; li aŭskultis novajn vinildiskojn en la malnova familia gramofono, kiujn li kaŝis en la ŝranko.

Iliaj vojoj kruciĝis kiam ili eniris kune en Gambaru kaj Asocioj antaŭ jardeko. Hiroŝi estis la unua, kiu rompis la glacion en la tago de la indukto, kiam, per manpremo kaj ŝerco, li sukcesis ke Kenji elmontru timidan rideton. Kvankam ili ŝajnis kontraŭoj — Hiroŝi, kun sia gaja karaktero, kaj Kenji, kun sia preskaŭ ceremonia seriozeco —, ili trovis strangan ekvilibron. Ilia ascendo en la kompanio ne estis facila. Ili pasigis senfinajn noktojn reviziante raportojn kaj disvolvante novigajn projektojn, kiuj helpis Gambaru kaj Asocioj elstari en la konkurenciva korporacia mondo. Hiroŝi organizis neformalajn kunvenojn, kie li proponis aŭdacajn ideojn, dum Kenji poluris la detalojn kaj konvertis ilin en senmakulajn proponojn. Kun la tempo, ili fariĝis speco de legendo en la oficejo, kun rakontoj pri ilia rivaleco kaj kamaradeco, kiuj estis rakontitaj al la novaj dungitoj.

Tamen, kun la sukceso ankaŭ aperis la konfliktoj. Ilia komuna ambicio elstari kaj esti rekonitaj kondukis ilin al konkurado pri la plej etaj detaloj, kiel la altvalora korktabulo, kiu ornamis la fonon de la kunvenejo, apud la fenestro kun vido al la urba horizonto, kaj ankaŭ apud la oficejo de la direktoro. Ĉi tiu simpla objekto, kiu por aliaj pasis nerimarkite, transformiĝis en simbolon de prestiĝo kaj dominado por ambaŭ.

Estis lunda mateno kiam eksplodis la konflikto, kiu metis ilian strangan amikecon al la provo. La korktabulo, kiu estis preskaŭ plena, estis uzata por gravaj anoncoj, limdatoj kaj komikaj notoj, kiujn iu anonima dungito lasis por elvoki timemajn ridetojn, nun iĝis la motivo de kverelo.

Tiun matenon, Hiroŝi alvenis frue, kun ruza rideto formiĝanta sub lia apenaŭ perceptebla liphararo. Sub la brako li portis grandan kaj buntan kartonon, kiun li preparis la antaŭan nokton. Sur ĝi, per grandaj kaj okulfrapaj literoj, estis skribite: “Fermado de la jara boŭlinga turniro – Tanaka ĉampiono 1983”. Fiera, li alfiksis la kartonon al la korktabulo kun troiga riverenco, kvazaŭ li metis majstraĵon en muzeon.

Ne pasis pli ol duonhoro kiam Kenji eniris, kun sia rapida paŝado kaj dika dosiero sub la brako. Vidante la kartonon de Hiroŝi, liaj okuloj duonfermiĝis malantaŭ liaj okulvitroj kaj lia buŝo kuntiriĝis en mieno de malŝato. Elspirante, li metis la dosieron sur sian skribotablon kaj, murmurete al si mem, iris serĉi pinglojn kaj paperon, kiun li jam pretigis.

Kiam li metis sian paperon kun la titolo “Raporto pri efikeco kaj proceza optimumigo – Nakamura 1983” sur la kartono de Hiroŝi, la kaoso eksplodis. Tanaka, kiu observis sian verkon de sia skribotablo kun la atento de falko, subite leviĝis, igante sian turniĝantan seĝon eligi longan kaj dramatan grincadon.

—Kenji! —li kriis, marŝante al la korktabulo kun decidaj paŝoj—. Kion vi pensas, ke vi faras?

Kenji turniĝis malrapide, kun frosta rideto sur la lipoj.

—Hiroŝi, via ‘anonco’ estas mokado. La korktabulo estas por gravaĵoj, ne por fanfaroni pri boŭlinga turniro —diris li, krucante la brakojn kaj levante la mentonon kun aroganteco.

Hiroŝi ŝveligis la bruston kaj metis la manojn sur la koksojn, kvazaŭ li estis preta defii Kenji al duelo de glavoj meze de la oficejo. La proksimaj dungitoj, kiuj ŝajnigis labori, levis la rigardon kaŝe, ĝuante la spektaklon.

—Fanfaroni? —ripetis Hiroŝi kun nekredema voĉo—. Ĉi tiu turniro estas la gloro de la kompanio, Kenji. Ĝi estas tio, kio tenas la animon kaj moralan staton alta!

—Gloro? —respondis Kenji, ĝustigante siajn okulvitrojn—. Tio, kio tenas la moralan staton alta, estas plialtigi nian efikecon kaj plibonigi la procezojn. Neniu ĉi tie bezonas vidi vian nomon en kriegaj koloroj por labori pli bone.

La vortinterŝanĝo daŭris altiĝante en tono, kun la dungitoj murmuretante inter si, kelkaj mense vetante, kiu gajnos la disputon. Tiam aperis ilia supera, la severa kaj metikula sinjoro Ranmaru Saito, viro, kiun neniu kuraĝis kontraŭi. Lia ombro projektiĝis sur la korktabulo, kaj ambaŭ rivaloj tuj silentis.

—Kio estas ĉi tiu bruo? —demandis Saito, lia voĉtono tiel glacia kiel la klimatizilo de la konstruaĵo.

Kenji kaj Hiroŝi interŝanĝis rigardojn, kaj dum momento, ilia malamikeco ŝajnis malaperi. Kiel infanoj kaptitaj en petolaĵo, ambaŭ mallevis la kapon.

—Sinjoro Saito, ni nur diskutis pri la graveco de la anoncoj sur la korktabulo —diris Kenji, evitante okulan kontakton.

Saito levis brovon kaj observis kaj la brilan kartonon kaj la raporton de Kenji. Post kelkaj sekundoj de silento, li krucis la brakojn kaj parolis:

—La korktabulo estas por ĉiuj. Nek por la egoo de unu nek por la lecionoj de la alia. Ĉi tie, ni estas teamo —li diris, rigardante ambaŭ severe—. De nun, ni asignos spacon sur la korktabulo por la festoj kaj alian por la formalaj anoncoj!

La murmuroj transformiĝis en retenitaj ridoj, kaj la vizaĝoj de la dungitoj lumiĝis vidante kiel la dekreto de Saito solvis la problemon per simpla kaj justa logiko. Tanaka kaj Nakamura interŝanĝis rigardon, kiu enhavis miksaĵon de honto kaj komplikeco. Fine, Kenji etendis sian manon.

—Eble la venontan fojon ni povus organizi raporton pri la turniro, Hiroŝi —li diris, kun tre sincera rideto.

—Kaj eble la venontan turniron vi gajnos —respondis Hiroŝi, donante al li firman kaj ridetantan manpremon.

En la centra oficejo de Gambaru kaj Asocioj, la onidiroj estingiĝis kaj la tajpiloj rekomencis sian marŝon. Dume, la korktabulo, dividita sed plena de vivo, brilis sub la lumo de la fluoreskaj lampoj, silenta atestanto de la malgrandaj malpacoj kaj repaciĝoj, kiuj faris tiun lokon io pli ol simpla laborejo.

Une nouvelle espèce de fourmis envahissantes, la Tapinoma magnum, s'est installée dans les jardins du Hochweg. On fait le point avec un spécialiste.

  "Tout est parti des jardins du Hochweg, dans le quartier Cronenbourg à Strasbourg. Une espèce de fourmis, la Tapinoma magnum, a envahi la zone depuis quelques années.

  Si elle n’est pas dangereuse pour l’homme, elle présente tout de même un risque environnemental, puisqu’elle peut provoquer la destruction des potagers ou encore des coupures d’électricité."
