yes ive heard about that....... im answering your ask late oops haah but i hope the situations a Bit better..... the toxic parts of this fandom give me a headache but my usual motto is to stay off twitter, touch grass, ignore people, and then hold onto my own viewpoints unless proven wrong alsjdflsdj but like. yeah this fandom is a bit tough to stay in when it comes to certain circles (for example the amount of people low quality shitposting / ranting about the fandom or whatever on rezero ao3 atm in the past days/weeks is. mm. interesting). not my first time being in larger fandoms that make you sometimes feel like youre fighting in the trenches (you could name off a few big fandoms notorious for being toxic that date back to like 2016 and odds are ive been in a couple lajdlf) but yeah seeing people complain about liliana and capella's designs and then overly fixate on emilia's boobs when these three characters have more to bring to the table than just that and theres lots and lots of good things to say about the s3 trailer and their designs..... mm. yeah. im squinting hard at a few of the things ive heard on that. but anyway!!

like the new designs are an Improvement. In General. like ok, as a boob haver myself ("boob haver" is the funniest phrase to me alsdjfls but it is true nonetheless, i am one) i do not give a shit about emilias larger boobs like ok?? her boobs are bigger?? she is still my fav ever and sometimes it just happens when youre still a growing teen/young adult and emilias back to her more revealing main outfit when she wore a different outfit in s2 so the difference in chest size is really not that much. but liliana and capella? those are Improved designs. i think ive talked abt the treatment of underage characters / characters who appear underage on my blog before (and i definitely couldve worded myself better then but i stand behind the fact that some of the stuff otsuka and tappei do regarding this in rezero is just Unnecessary).

could designs like emilia's still be improved on in other ways? yeah 100%, just in the sense that there could probably be changed a bit to fit her slightly more timid and soft spoken personality. or you could take different directions on it in general if you wanted. ive seen some great redesigns of her main outfit!! though her main outfit in of itself is pretty nice to look at imo and its iconic and well-known for a reason. im of the personal opinion that i wish it was a little less revealing in the same vein that her s2 main outfit was (i like that outfit a lot!!) but its still a really solid design overall.

i had some faith after seeing the anime designers fix up typhoon's original design to be More Appropriate, and i love how the essence of liliana and capella's designs were kept the same. like its not just that theyre a little less revealing (and even then, theyre both still showing a lot of skin!!! which is good!!! i like the improvement while keeping the main stuff the same), but stuff like liliana's pants aren't transparent (probably to make it easier to animate?) and the yellow/orange gradient in capella's hair looks great!! they also both look more like grown women which is a bonus. unless youre Weird about this shit which is unfortunately a small percentage of the rezero community. like you cant win with those sort of people ig, bc capella's boobs are bigger too ljasdlfj youd think that win more people over.

also i appreciate capella's sports bra bc unlike elsa's outfit it Actually looks like it's supporting her chest. if youre someone with boobs and you dont have a flat chest, youre gonna need support when being active or itll Hurt. and elsa Does Not have proper chest support okay. ill forever wince remembering elsa's design in that sense HAH....

anyway but i digress. i got no clue what to do with toxic people in fandoms despite spending a lot of time lurking in large fandoms with loud toxic people haah.... its hard to do much about it especially with increasingly declining media literacy rates everywhere.... the notorious misogyny/homophobia/etc that can happen sometimes in anime communities.... that sort of thing. i kinda just avoid it when it comes to rezero in specific, or briefly talk about it on here, or rant about it to myself in my head or chat with pals about it in private if it really frustrates me that much!! and id say im a pretty patient person hah... im not frustrated often. and the fandom is not all weird people of course and i can attest to that as ive chatted with a lot of people here... ive also seen a lot of people leave due to the fandom's Issues which is. totally fair tbh.

and i think rezero is often a "baby's first fandom" so to speak... i dont mean that in a bad way of course but its more like its the first exposure to fandom and fandom etiquette and fic etiquette and that sort of thing when it comes to english circles. or at least its a pattern ive noticed, so my theory is that that occasionally that combines with toxic fans and then you get a few people complaining about the community and how bad our fics are on rezero ao3 ig lajdlfjsdlf. which is false by the way :<< and an annoying misuse of ao3 as a free creative archive :<<

but ultimately i hope the rezero character designer's alright (and honestly theyve done super super great work - like the anime Did Not need to give emilia a bajillion outfits and go above and beyond with improving liliana, capella, giving the suwens and their hometown a whole unique aesthetic, etc). and also while i have stuff to criticize with otsuka and tappei... and the toxic parts of the fandom hah... i still enjoy rezero apart from that and the uproar with the designs has not chipped away at me too much!! ive been in this fandom long enough i guess lmao i just roll with punches at this point T^T but i also just try to look on the bright side a lot in general so ;-;;;

these are the sorts of things i like to be aware about but i dont like to get myself super involved with it (since itll probably make it worse and/or make me stressed for no good reason lmfaoo) and i wont let it enjoy the parts of rezero that i do enjoy a lot (which is to say like. the other 98% of rezero hah). so. getting off twitter is the biggest godsend i promise lajdlsfj.

bc of it being one of the places where my HS is my mom has unprompted been telling me i need to make sure to get a breast reduction before i go off her insurance in a couple years

and thats kinda wild to hear from her considering how weird shes been in the past about me saying i wanted top surgery for trans related reasons. and soooo weird to think about like. is that even crossing her mind mind rn or does she just think that all went away with time for me now that i dont bother correcting when she misgenders me anymore (its weird bc i use feminine terms and she pronouns in other contexts nowadays but in no context where she is aware of that and really because of how frustrating all that has been with family i want them to just use they pronouns and neutral terms for me but simultaneous to that sort of contrarian desire i just dont have the energy to correct them ever)

but like i cant complain. i think i could even get legit top surgery and not just a reduction out of it and doing it with her insurance and sdditional financial support makes it soooooooo much more feasible than it could ever be otherwise

but god also thats such a short time frame. and like ive been actively wanting it for almost 15 years anf i guess no time is ever going to be ideal if any change even good always feels overwhelming but theres just already so much i really need to handle over the next couple years.

Right Now. and while i think id like to at least do that a little bit throughout my life, if i struggle with being overwhelmed with change, the unpredictability of hormones on top of another change maybe is a bit too much for me rn. like im fine with any of the common effects of it even that arent part of my goal but things like how hormonal shifts can effect emotions and sex drive and stuff is still just a lot to have to figure out and manage on top of an already busy year. and even stuff i want like a deeper voice or fuller mustache ive always wanted to do phonetic experiments throughout transition and i just objectively will not have time for that this year. and if i want to have well groomed facial hair thats another thing to have to fit into my daily routine in the middle of whats to be the most packed year of my life so far. so that basically means for me that the only reasonable solution is to get top surgery in the next year and wait for hormones later but its just kinda sad to me i cant have it all

finding a bunch of Mktt art was really nice and I decided I wanted to support them now, after doing my research ofc, and i had precedent and stuff so after refreshing my msmory on everything and Learning, I thought I would be able to have Mktt at least to look forward to.

I wont talk abt the ups and downs bc i dont feel like going into it rn but basically, there's a double-edged sword with things u like getting more and more popular i guess. One of my BIGGEST gripes was seeing discourse and seeing people spread misinformation so smugly and without shame. When someone is new to a fandom or thing, you'd think the first thing you do is study up on everything and figure out fandom etiquette and tradition and stuff, but on one hand we had people saying INCORRECT things to the newbies and then we had the really mean people curbstomping everyone for not being factually accurate all the time?! I'm all for reducing misinformation but freakin being mean or toxic people defeats the point of a fandom bc fandoms are supposed to be for FUN, not a popularity contest or a place to show how accurately you can follow the "Bible" ("canon")

I have more complaints and annoyances I might talk abt if I feel like facing the crowd instead of privately complaining, but my Love for these characters was very strong, so I wasnt going to let myself be chased away (even though I did seethe a lot and not feel like making anything as a result of watching all this go down. I mean, I do believe in speaking up and all but if it turns into a fight or whatever then what's even fun about that now.... I'd rather stay away lmao)

ANYWAY like I said I still love Miku and Teto, and I knew Teto hijacked Miku's stuff in the past and has showed up with her in things (I checked just now: Teto hijacked Mikucolle, the site and the game, back in like 2012/2013. then Twindrill made a snow sculpture of Miku and Teto which I liked very much. apparently one person spent like 5 whole hours on the faces alone which is such dedication. And then Teto appeared in Project Diva and Miku Symphony ofc)

But this year, her appearing in PokeMiku is soooo freaking cool!! As her rival!! Miku reached 100 million views like 4th or something on YouTube with Aishite Aishite Aishite but then she and Teto reached 100 million views with Mesme (not writing the whole name so I dont accidentally ping them lmao). I dont think Teto's success is purely bc of Miku or anything bc Teto is amazing in her own right, but they're definitely linked in a kinda disgusting way (joke) bc of the 100 million views together thing and the duets and whatnot that people started actually complaining abt LOL

If you think abt it, Teto could've had a theoretically similar dynamic with like idk Rin or Meiko or something (Vocaloid vs free software dichotomy) but since Miku is the mascot character and face of Vocaloid, she has a lot of contrast/appearances with Miku instead. xD Plus with songs like Triple or comics like Chibi Miku-san, it's obvious why I associate them with each other in my head too, but

if you look at the old collabs, in my opinion, it's not like they're super bonded together necessarily cuz Teto can collab with anyone and she just happens to show up with Miku a lot. But then if you make them Pokemiku rivals dkdgksbd that feels like it cements the rivalry a lot more concretely and i fukken love it uugfhh

The Pokemon rivals r fukken stuck to each other like glue and this is my own bias coming into play but instead of "Teto appears yay" or "Teto hijacks the site and causes mayhem hehe" this is "Miku's rival, Teto, appears!!" and obviously I will freak out about that bc I love them both and their Pokemon and color schemes and everything r so mirroring I love it fffjyckkkkk

Poketeto made me soooo happy and hyped and that design is beautiful, I put this and the Daikirai song both at the top for what's keeping my HP above 1 rn but I guess not everything will always be 100% bc dkgshgjs I've started rambling like crazy again so I can bury it in here but the Voice Peak voice does not 100% appeal to me and I guess that's what it was like when the other Teto fans didnt like SV's voice (I _love_ SV's voice with a huuuge passion, biased for particuar iterations tho) so I guess it's my turn dksgksgks

There's nothing wrong with it ofc but as I was looking up more info to answer my questions, I learned that the Teto voice that I grew up with is called "2r6" and it was used in Triple Baka and Fukkireta apparently and apparently it used to be on TD's site but it was removed/apparently discontinued???? uhhh i cant wait for a complete post of your thoughts when you've had time to think about it, im sad it doesnt fit the vibe of the photoshoot and its ok and im going to listen to the album bc it sounds like taylors previous work which i like but im sick of the same production on every track and its not even good, that synth rythm at the end of the anti-hero chorus is giving me ptsd its like every taylor swift song is starting to sound like that

ok i can finally answer this a bit more thouroughly after having sat with the album for a few days. I think my initial reaction was much more negative than my views on the album are now, simply because I also expected something different and was taken aback by what we ended up getting. In a lot of ways, it reminds me of reputation: in my perception of it, in its sound, and in the themes that are being explored. Ultimately, Midnights is the better reputation: it deals with themes of fame and "finding love through all the noise" MUCH better than the 2017 album did, likely because Taylor now has the removal and strong footing to really Get Into a lot of shit (and her own insecurities) without constantly being worried about how she will be perceived. Some tracks on Midnights are what I always wanted to hear from her fame-wise, as exemplified by how many beats from this playlist get hit, so all in all I do appreciate a lot about the album. It's also just... fun to listen to, I want to dance around my room to many of the tracks which I dig. Unfortunately, this is not all it takes for me to be head over heels for an album, and Midnights kind of disappointed me on the songwriting front. This is me complaining on an incredibly high level because Taylor is That Good, but there were almost no lyrics that stood out to me upon first listen. It is exactly the same feeling reputation has given me upon first listen, where I sat around wondering when a lyric would really GRAB me the way many of the lines on Speak Now or Red did. I appreciate the humor and Taylor's delivery of the lyrics is arguably the best part of the album, but I feel a bit dissatisfied with some of the metaphors or literary devices on here. Negative examples are "Your eyes are flying saucers from another dimension", "Cat eye sharp enough to kill a man" (shut up...), "I miss you but I miss sparkeling", "the sand hurts my feelings" (i actually love where she was going with this and think it should have been more refined because it doesn't land). And a lot of the songs are also just... There. They don't do anything for me. Which kind of is the worst crime an album can commit. I like Jack, but there is truth to the fact that he only ever is experimental on his own albums and gives the girls he works with very little breathing room. When listening to Midnights, I feel like the music is just. There as a backdrop to the lyrics and very rarely adds something to the overall feeling of the song. And when the lyrics by themselves are not that strong... That's not great. I would argue that Midnights has better lines than 1989, but 1989 felt like a symbiosis of production and lyrics, where each perfectly supported the other, and Midnights doesn't give me the same feeling. It feels a tad rushed. I say all of this and will most likely still stream the fuck out of the album, but I won't consider it a Great Work in the process of doing so. I simply love dancing around to a silly pop song.

the feeling of cold water hitting your face shocked you awake and you sat up with a gasp. trails of blue flashed from beside your bed and out the door, the clang of a bucket hitting the floor. “pietro maximoff. i am going to kill your speedy ass!” you shouted, jumping out of bed. not even caring that you were only in a t-shirt and shorts, you chased after him, following the blue light.

the trails stopped eventually, and so did you. you glanced around, listening for any sign of him. you crept over to one of the couches and grabbed a pillow as a weapon. “where are you?” you called, i’m a sing-song voice.

you walked around the room, “come on, don’t hide from me now.” the faint sound of his breathing was heard along with the dripping water from your hair and t-shirt. you followed the sound of his shallow breaths to the island in the kitchen. you dropped the pillow, climbed up on the island and crawled across it before swung your head over the edge, in front of his. “hey there.

he gasped, “shit.” you flipped your hair back up and sat back on your knees. pietro stood up and turned to face you before bursting into fits of laughter.

“i don’t know what’s funny.” you mumbled, glaring up at him.

“yes you do, you look ridiculous.” he huffed between laughs.

“i won’t look ridiculous when i’m putting a bullet through your head.” you spat.

“calm down, love. it’s only a bit of fun.” he said.

“i was sleeping piet!” you protested. you moved your legs so that they were dangling off the edge.

“you better be. i’ll get you back though.”

he stepped forward and leaned his hands on the island, on either side of you. “will you, yeah?”

his head was an inch away from yours, you could feel his breath against your face. you saw his eyes drift from your eyes to your lips and back up again. he leaned in slightly and your breathing quickened. “what’re you doing?” you whispered.

“how’s our newest recruit?” he asked as he grabbed a mug from one of the shelves.

“steve, i’ve been here for like 6 months!” you complained.

he put the mug in the coffee machine and pressed a few buttons, “and? you’re still the newest.”

“might be the newest but i could still take you down old man.”

“don’t get too cocky kid, i think pietro’s rubbing off on you.”

“ew i’d rather go back to being tortured than be like him.” you joked.

you made fake gagging noise and steve let out a laugh. he finally turned around and looked at you two for the first time this morning.

“oh- uh y/n? what happened, why are you soaked?” he asked, averting his eyes from you. your eyes widened in realisation that you were wearing little-to-nothing in front of your captain and your t-shirt was clinging to your body.

“pietro is a dick is what happened.” you said, pushing yourself off the table. “if you’ll excuse me, i’ll go make myself decent.”

you and the team were recalling old missions gone wrong, with the assistance of alcohol obviously, and you were telling a story about you and bucky- much to his dismay.

“i didn’t fall.” he protested, taking a swig from the bottom of beer in his hand.

“so what happened then? did the sidewalk just crumble?” you questioned, laughing loudly. the rest of the team sat observing the interaction, large smiles across all their face. pietro sat to your left with his arm around your shoulder, a drink in his other hand.

“okay. maybe i did fall.” bucky mumbled causing a roar of laughter from everyone. “but, remember how we were running through a forest in, where was it again?-“

“bulgaria.” you said, already knowing where this was going.

“bulgaria! yes. and it was raining so it was super muddy and you got suck in the mud!” he laughed.

“you left me there! i had to drag myself out.” you complained.

“well we had a mission to complete! you would’ve done the same.”

you rolled your eyes, “you’re right. i would have.” you felt pietro laugh from beside you and you smiled at him. “time for a refill.” you announced, pushing yourself up off the sofa. you wandered to the kitchen and took the bottle of wine on the table and poured some into your glass. due to the alcohol already in your system you spilled a little on the counter, “shit.” you muttered.

“need some help there?” pietro asked.

“i can pour wine myself thank you very much.” you retorted.

“i think the table disagrees.” he chuckled.

“shut up.” you groaned. pietro sped from the door to grab a towel and stopped behind you. he reached over your shoulder and wiped the spilled wine up. his breath was hot against your neck. you turned around, wine glass in hand, and looked up into his eyes. his hands remained on either side of you.

“this is the second time we’ve ended up here.” he mumbled.

“good observation, captain obvious.” you teased. pietro rolled his eyes and huffed out a laugh.

pietro took his right hand and tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear, staring into your eyes. he kept his hand on the side of your head and leant in slightly for the second time in the past week. your breathing deepened and your heart was thumping against your chest. you tilted your head up towards his head and your lips were almost touching, just as they were a few days ago

“y/n! can you get me a whiskey before you come back?!” tony called from the other room.

pietro groaned in frustration and pulled away from you, tilting his head up. “i’m going to kill those avengers.”

“good luck with that speedy.” you said, tapping his chest lightly.

he stepped away from you, letting you leave his embrace to get tony a drink. after pouring him a glass of whiskey and grabbing your glass of wine, you and pietro entered the room filled with your team. his hand was placed in the small of your back, guiding you back to the sofa.

you handed tony his drink and he smiled at you, “thanks kid.”

pietro sat on the couch and you flopped down beside him, his arm resuming its place of around your shoulder. you swung your legs up and across pietro’s legs, earning a few looks from nat and clint. they looked at each other and raised their eyebrows with a smirk.

steve and bucky were telling a story of a party they went to in the 40s and how bucky had to drag him to dance with these girls they met. you took a sip of your drink and noticed pietro’s eyes glancing at your lips, “want a sip?” you asked, smirking because you knew that’s not what he was looking at.

he pushed his tongue against the inside of his cheek and sighed, “watch it, y/l/n.”

“oooooooh we’re on last name terms now?” you teased, smiling.

“yeah if you keep pissing me off we will be.”

“don’t be so easy to piss off.” you replied.

he leaned over and whispered in your ear, “cant help it. i’m frustrated.”

you pushed out your bottom lip in an overdramatic pout, “boohoo.”

tony then shot forward in his seat and clapped his hands together, “tomorrow you two,” he said, pointing at you and bucky, “are gonna have a little fashion show, i’ve been working on some suits for you guys and i need your input.”

eventually everyone had made their way upstairs and all that was left was you, tony and pietro.

“okay. what’s going on here?” tony asked, wagging his finger between you guys. pietro’s hand was now resting on your leg which was still across his.

“nothing.” you said.

“uh huh? yeah that bullshit doesn’t work on me kiddo.”

“piet, sure nothing has happened.” you glanced at him and a look of annoyance crossed his face.

“yeah stark. nothings happened.” he replied through gritted teeth.

“well if anything does happen, stay safe.” he winked at you two, “and if you hurt her, speedy, she’ll probably hurt you back worse.”

you laughed, “hell yeah i will.”

“oh i know you will.”

“goodnight .” tony said as he stood up from his chair and left the room.

you swung your legs off pietro and stood up, “well goodnight piet.” a smirk grew across your face as you began to walk away.

“nope.” he stated, grabbing your wrist and turning you back around. he pulled you onto his lap so you were straddling him, legs on either side of him. he placed his hand on the back of your neck and pulled your head towards his before crashing your lips onto his.

the kiss was heated, after being denied it twice before. your hands moved from his shoulders to the back of his neck and his moved to your waist. his fingers dug into your hips causing you to moan slightly, he took this opportunity to intertwine his tongue with yours.

eventually you broke apart, both gasping for air. you placed your forehead against his and closed your eyes.

“you don’t understand how long i’ve wanted to do that.” he muttered.

“worth it?” you asked, teasing him.

“nope.” he joked.

suddenly you were no long sitting on top of him, you were being picked up and whisked through the building. your hair blew around until you stopped and were in your room. “what just happened?”

“i did.” he stated. using his powers he stripped himself down to his underwear and jumped on your bed, under the covers.

“anymore of that and i’ll suffocate you in your sleep with this pillow.” you replied, closing your eyes and relaxed into his embrace.

This album is very tied to the narrative or theme. Which makes me really happy bc i was kinda expecting to get robbed out of the storytelling teased by the promo stuff.

I was jumping up and down in glee when i heard the intro to Sugar Rush Ride DARLING IVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU SINCE DECEMBER

You know every txt cb has a part in the melody/production thats so good its almost pure coke and they build the entire song around it and its kinda repetitive but you dont complain bc its so good you cant get enough of it?

WAIT the vibes of CYSM’s thing (you know what i mean) and SRR’s intro are quite comparable

Up until the prechorus she is tons of fun and there are so many good vocal moments i dont know who’s who yet bc its happening too fast

But the chorus is a little short of a disaster to me the puncture of the energy to the empty chorus??? you mean to tell me i dislike a txt chorus what is happening??? Its gonna take me a while before i get around this song, even if i actually do. Which as a moa is a real shame.

Okay all of this is very sexy. The narrative is “being tempted by the devil into a psychedelic bliss that is actually a hoax/dangerous but its irresistible”. I suppose that angle was always present in the concept but i didnt expect it to be played this upfront.

This pretty neatly fits my theory that they are visiting Magic Island (Neverland in this context) for a final time for closure.

Throughout txt’s discography there is this headstrong argument supporting escapism, that’s what the concept of Magic Island is about. “Run away with me.” And at this point the illusion of escapism finally crashes. We must go back home.

uhh percy gets wings- (i dont know sbdvs first prompt that came to mind)

I rewrote how he got the powers like nine times, but the overall gist is, Percy gets his wings bc he asked Apollo to give him something that would piss off Zeus.

Apollo’s logic, which he is confident in since he is a god of logic, is that if he blesses the wings then Percy can fly into Zeus’ domain without Zeus striking him down. And if both Apollo and Thalia Grace support Percy, then Artemis supports Percy, which means now Percy has more gods on his side in case of an emergency.

Everyone’s reactions to Percy’s new wings are... hilarious.

First, we’ll start off with our favorite children of Zeus. For a whole day after she finds out, the only thing that comes out of Thalia’s mouth is “what the fuck, what the fuck, what the fuck,” She cannot fathom Percy having wings, let alone potentially getting himself killed by her father again. (how dare he? she cant piss off her father right now as Artemis’ lieutenant with actual duties, and he gets to gallivant in the sky and flip Zeus off all the time??)

Jason’s is more of a quiet fear and sort of... resignation? He’s just very tired, but also oh my gods Percy he’s going to kill you, my dad is goin - Yeah. Jason is just trying to hold it together and keep Percy on solid ground. Sometimes, though, they go flying together. (they both think each other’s ways of flight are cooler than their own, but they’ll never admit that)

Annabeth’s is just kind of like, well, what else could happen? Percy’s not dead yet, so Apollo’s blessing seems to be working. And he likes his wings. After a few nights of complaining about how hard sleeping is, Apollo just makes them something Percy’s able to summon. The wings themselves are made out of sunlight, so this is pretty possible. But sometimes Percy grabs Annabeth and the fly over NYC and New Rome at nighttime so it’s cool for the most part. She thinks her boyfriend deserves a break and something lighthearted, and this is exactly that for some reason, so she just sort of accepts it. She’s happy for him, even if it doesn’t make that much sense. And hey, she’s all for pissing off Zeus, who should have done more to be an actual good king.

Sally, oh dear god, Sally... She prays to Poseidon angrily for a few days. She’s confused and kind of scared for her baby boy, and it’s... a lot to take in. She just hopes those wings aren’t hurting him, and she hates the prospect of Zeus or some other sky god coming out to kill him.

Estelle is ecstatic. She cannot get over how cool her older brother is. She loves him to death already, but wings? He can fly? That is so cool!! And sometimes he scoops her up and does flips in the air, or he’ll throw her up into the sky and then dive down to catch her. It’s all in good fun, and he never actually endangers her, so calm your heart rates down. Nobody at school believes Estelle about her brother, but that’s fine. She’ll keep telling the stories because she knows they’re true.

Percy really likes his wings, he loves doing flips in the air more than anything. Being in the air is freeing with the wings, almost like being in water. It’s freeing because in the sky, protected by Apollo, nobody can knock him down, not even his father or Zeus.

He also likes bonding over flying with wings with Blackjack. Now he can be his own pegasus if he wants. Blackjack says that Percy can still always call on him if he needs anything.

IDK i was just so nervous when i first came back but she was super cool and nice and our characters hit it off super well!! 

this isn’t a tumblr rp experience but back in 2015 me and a friend created this huge fantasy world with all kinds of characters and we had the whole rp plotted out till the very end. i cant remember much of what we established but i remember it being really in-depth and thought out LSJHGKF i was always so excited whenever we both found the time to sit down and toss replies back and forth to each other. but then a few months later the website we rped on didn’t exist anymore and we ended up losing contact. i really wish i could go back and read everything we sent each other but im pretty sure i cant

i actually have a lot and that’s why im so selective LDJFHK like the tumblr rpc has gotten better, yeah, but there is still so much room for improvement. 

1. being needlessly mean/high school bully level pettiness. Like bro there’s certain ppl on this website that do nothing but frequently make these long ass posts complaining abt how their oc(s) are better than everyone else’s, bc everyone else’s aren’t as “thought out, original, interesting, ect enough” and like? i just dont get it. i genuinely do not understand why ppl are so willing to kiss these specific kinds of ppl’s asses. the MOMENT i see any kind of “my oc is better than other ocs and here is a list as to why:” i refuse to interact. be proud of ur characters, but dont act like ur better than everyone else? i’ve also seen someone make a #girlboss post abt how “yeah there’s certain ppl on this website that want to avoid me so i go out of my way to befriend all of THEIR friends so they can never get rid of me :)” yeah ur weird. u are full on weird. u have not matured past 14. 

2. any complaining abt mlm and wlw. this includes ‘gay ships are so popular online that m/f just doesnt exist anymore.’/’everyone just wants to have gay ships so i’m going to get back at them by only shipping m/f.’ i dont think i should even have to explain why complaining abt gay ppl finally being able to indulge in fictional gay relationships is a fucked up thing to do and yet ppl still do it. stop having this ‘i have to get back at gay ppl’ mindset.. it’s gross

3. when i say no to a romantic and/or sexual relationship and all interest from the other person is lost. im not hurt when this happens, but it gets so annoying. if i say no to a ship and all interactions are suddenly cut off, it is so obvious to what ur intentions were and i really don’t appreciate it. my characters aren’t shipping fodder for yours. i know it can suck when someone says no to a possible ship, but it’s also so shitty to take that ‘no’ and then deliberately ignore the person just bc they refused u. it’s obvious, and i do notice it.

4. this is a personal preference ig but i dont like the ongoing trend of ‘my trans character was SA’d for being trans’ that is suddenly so.. popular within the tumblr rpc. it really grosses me out and i cant stand seeing it and i dont want mentions of that on my dash at all. it’s a no-no for me. 

● MUSE PREFERENCES ; fluff, angst or smut ; all three! tho i’m kinda selective with angst and even more-so with smut. i like to get a feel for someone and their character first before i rp angst, bc there’s been a lot of times i’ll be rping with someone and they would pile angst after angst on top of their character over and over again to the point it just got.. kinda ridiculous. like i love angst but sometimes ppl just get too caught up with making their characters go through the most fucked up shit as much as possible as a plot device. listen i love dragging my characters through the mud too but after awhile it gets repetitive and boring ;;v;; 

i love writing smut but given that ayalon rarely feels sexual attraction to other ppl and when he DOES he’s too busy just bullying them so. smut writing here might not be that big of a thing LKJDHFK fluff is a free for all tho!! he wants to knead on everyone like a cat and pull on them like laffy taffy. that’s ayalon being soft.

so they live in las vegas

the original idea was nyo spaus with them meeting when nyo prussia (annelise’s roommate) tears her acl while skating. anna is now required to drive her everywhere, which, for some fuckin reason still includes the skate park, which is how she meets isabel

julia is also in a rock band with kiku and chiara, and their current goal is to play in a casino. any casino really but since anna works at a casino, julia’s trying to get her to put a good word in, but anna doesn’t really want to because she’s stressed tm and she’s already driving julia everywhere, including to the fucken skate park, where she can’t do anything because she’s on crutches

isabel thinks all this is hilarious and likes to poke fun at anna a lot, cause she’s just sort of amused by this stressed out posh lady

the skate park is a sort of community gathering spot for all these fuckin lesbians of las vegas, and though anna isn’t a skater and doesn’t know anything about skating she still feels a little drawn to it

but she also cant take a fucken joke to save her life so when isabel starts teasing her she gets >:( in return, which gives her the reputation as an angy person and the skater girls start accepting her into the group 

other skater girls include nyo sweden, nyo hong kong, nyo finland, hungary, iceland (they’re bad at it but want to be alt very badly), vietnam, seychelles, and Probably More once the au gets more developed

criteria to join the skater group is that i have to make a design where you look good on a skateboard/in skates

nyo sweden wanted to be a pro ballerina in her youth but also she’s stuck in vegas so the best she can really hope for is being a stripper or smth so she’s just gonna go be a pseudo ballerina but with inline skates

she’s also currently getting her phd in online school in education, and she’s married to nyo fin because i’m lazy and reusing my baseline human au characterisations for them

nyo hong kong is also stuck in vegas bc her uncle (yao) owns a casino

she’s not complaining about living at a casino bc thats undeniably cool, but she is complaining about having to live there all the time

ice and sey think its cool though and are supportive when she wants to crash at one of their houses for the night

nyo fin is a college dropout and she’s living with the other nordics in an apartment that’s a bit too far from the strip to walk, but she does it anyway (in the winter) cause she likes walking. she works at the same casino that yao owns, and she’s a very manipulative dealer

hungary is another roommate with anna and julia. she’s more into the skating for the excersize and used to want to be in the military, but now she’s just sort of making it through the days and working at a restaurant. 

iceland is very upset with the fact that they’re a teenager in las vegas, but at least their friend lives at a casino and they won’t get kicked out for being queer. passionate about learning, but vegas isn’t really kid friendly, so they’re a bit >:(

vietnam skates to blow off steam. she is a bartender and hates the customer service aspect of her job, but she actually quite likes mixing drinks. she’d do quite a few things to escape, and she hates living in the desert, but here the fuck she is, at least for now. 

seychelles is also a bit pissed about being a teenager in las vegas, and also pleased that her friend lives at a casino. she’s her class president at school and wants to go into education herself someday

other background/non skater characters include:

kiku, who plays bass in his band. julia and chiara are also in the band and play drums and piano, respectively. he has asked anna to join the band because she gets away with murder on the violin but she’s politely refused him. he’s their manager and books them gigs a lot. they’ve played at a lot of places around town, but are currently looking to get into some of the bigger casinos, like caesar’s palace or something

alfred, who’s one of chiara’s childhood friends. they moved to vegas together after high school (with the intent of moving to la) but alfred’s car broke down in the desert and they sort of wound up needing to live here so they could work to afford to fix the car and then make more savings to move to la but now they just live in vegas (they’re both from new york)

the other nordics! nyo norway works at a claires’ and nyo denmark is trying to make it as a standup comedian

yao, the owner of a casino. he’s one of those bosses who says stuff like we treat our employees like family here, and he actually sort of does but tis only because he’s a bit of a distant uncle. some of his relatives (hk, taiwan, and macau) have moved into the casino as well and he’s very stressed by all these responsibilities but can’t let anyone see him sweating so he maintains the air of a magnificent bastard

maybe india has seen him sweating.

chiara is also in the band, she’s their singer. the band was formed when she met julia at her old job, when she was a freelance singer and got hired to do the national anthem by germany’s high school, and they met at a football game. she’s in the band now and she’s Trying Her Best
