So...healer!reader pt 5, shes already healed the guys individually, where will they go from here?🤭
It becomes a bit of a routine. The guys try not to ask for ur healing too often, they value u as a genuine member of the team and would hate for u to think ur just here for that. But, you do notice they all perform much better after you heal them. Plus, it kind of gets on ur nerves when they try to 'tough out' some of the minor pain, bc u can feel it radiating from them and now that you have healed them before there's really no reason for u to be shy about it again.
So, you make sure to heal them all at least once a week, sometimes more if they actually are hurt. Ghost goes all soft and pliant, simply enjoying the fact his chronic pain is gone for a bit. Price tends to take the time to smoke, hes learned that ur healing with smoke in his lungs feels devine. Soap doesnt have much constant pain besides mild tinnitus, so he and gaz tend to work out like hell beforehand bc it feels alot better when the magic has something to focus on.
But you never seem to ask anything in return. Its frustrating. Especially considering soap has explicitly offered you to bed and all you've done is turn him down with a small smile. Needless to say, the guys are concerned. Gaz calls a team meeting between the four of them, a furrow in his brow.
"Do you think we're taking advantage?"
Its a long and serious discussion. Price thinks they are, they all have some sort of power dynamic over you (some more than others). Ghost doesnt think so, hes seen you punch a guy's lights out for looking at you the wrong way, if you didnt want to do something then you wouldnt. Soap seems mixed, he trusts your decisions, but he doesnt want to have accidentally coerced you into anything. The discussion gets them nowhere, so finally gaz calls you in.
U give them a confused look, but seem overall relaxed. "Uh- everything okay?"
Price doesnt mince words, "if you dont want to heal us. You dont have to. If you dont feel comfortable working in this team, give me the paperwork and ill approve it, no questions asked."
"What?" Youre honestly baffled, looking between them like they're crazy. "What on earth makes you think i dont want to heal you?? If I didnt then I wouldnt??"
So they explain they're reasoning, finally leading to the last point of u never seeking out ur own satisfaction. They don't want to make u heal them if u dont get some sort of satisfaction in return, it feels predatory or whatever.
You cant help it, you laugh. A bit from nerves but also from relief bc you thought you were being kicked out. "Oh my god- thats it?" You try to cover ur grin with a hand.
"the hell do you mean thats it?!" Soap retorts, a bit put off by ur sudden mirth "this is serious!"
"God! No- its- you dont understand-" you take a few deep breaths before calming down. Looking them in the eyes you shrug "im asexual. I uh- dont feel sexual desire. Like. At all."
Before they can freak out, you strike down whatever fears u know they're thinking "whatever sexual moments did occur were totally my choice. I may not get satisfaction like you guys do, but I like to see you guys happy, I like to help. Besides, all this healing has given me alot of practice with my magic, I really dont want to stop."
You and them have another, quite long discussion, and decide to keep up the arrangement. You get to practice magic, and they get to have the best damn orgasms of their lives. In fact, this probably means you can heal them more often now that you have permission to really experiment with ur methods.
(HA YALL THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A FIVESOME HUH??? WRONG!! anyways happy pride to all my fellow asexuals!! Also dw guys this is NOT the end of the series lol)

Konrad Curze and Lion are unable to recognize their own feelings , so of they get a crush they enter full conspirancy mode with them accusing the woman of being a psyker messing with their heads.
Hey anon!
Love this idea, thank you so much for letting me write this! I hope you like it!
Confusion
Tw: mild threat.
Lion El'Johnson
"Please I didn't do anything wrong!"
The astartes didn't answer, red eye lenses focused straight ahead as he dragged you down the halls of the Invincible reason, the wrought iron floor scuffing against your boots with each long stride the marine took.
"Please, just tell me what is happening!"
The marine growled, an audible snarl and yanked you into line with him. you spluttered and whined, jogging to keep up and struggling against the vice grip on your arm.
He hauled you up towards a massive door, dark metal with intricate sigils carved across its surface. Panic rose like bile in your throat and you dug in your heels, a useless endeavour as the dark angel pushed the door open and tossed you through and slamming it shut.
clambering to your feet, you cautiously surveyed your surroundings. A simple room, an office maybe, from the soaring book cases and the huge desk sitting pride of place in the centre. A single dying flame in a scorched bracket cast sparse light into the room, shrouding half of it in shadow.
A flash of movement caught your eye and fear drove you to your knees as Lion El'johnson stepped into the flickering slight.
"My lord El'johnson"
The primarch prowled towards you, green eye bright, almost reflective even in the dark. the ground shook slightly with each step, heavy ceramite ringing as it struck the iron floor.
"What have you done, witch"
Dumbfounded you simply stared at him.
"I...what?"
Lion snarled, gripping you by the collar and lifting you into the air. you feet hung uselessly as you clutched his giant armoured fist with your own tiny hands.
"You Know what you have done. Whatever curse or spell you have cast, you will undo it. NOW" he punctuated his sentence by shaking you vigorously.
"please, I really don't know"
The primarch eyed you scowling, His grip refusing to ease even slightly.
"My lord if you tell me what the problem is, maybe I can help"
The lions scowl deepened, a grimace forming across his face. Reluctantly he set you back down, eying you suspiciously as you straightened your robes.
"Every time I see you, my chest tightens. I feel anger when someone else is near you. When I see you i want to-"
He grit his teeth before continuing.
"I want to touch you. Claim you. This is clearly warp sorcery. You are corrupting my mind to your own perverse ends"
Shocked into silence, a thousand thoughts ran through your head.
"My lord. Have you never, uh. hmm"
your body was heating up as a blush broke across your skin.
"My lord, have you never felt uh, lets say affection, for someone before"
Lion cocked his head, sneering at your words
"Are you suggesting these thoughts are my own? That I have fallen so low, that is choose to lust for a serf?"
You dragged a palm down your face and sighed.
This might take a while to explain
Konrad Curze
"What do we have here?"
You shivered in the dark listening to the steady drip drip drip of water leaking through the shattered roof. The voice bounced around the shadows, reverberating around and distorting the sound.
"Who are you? What do you want"
Your foot touched one of the corpses, still warm and seeping ichor across the dirty floor. Blinded and scared you spun, trying to bite back tears and swallow your panic. The roof creaked under somethings weight and you collapsed to the floor, surrendering.
"Please just tell me what you want"
"I want you to fix what you have done"
"I havent done anything, please I want to go home"
The voice laughed. Deep and resonant it shook you to your core.
"I wont kill you, Psyker. Simply reverse your spell and we can be done with this matter."
The ground shook as a shadow landed near to you. Blurry in the dark you could make out the vague shape towering over you and the flash of white fangs.
"Curze" you whispered, your stomach dropping.
"Aaah so you do know me then."
The shape moved, disappearing into the blackness before reappearing next to you. A taloned hand grabbed your face, gripping your cheeks between two razor claws.
"Fix your sorcery."
"Please, i'm not a psyker i swear" you gestured in the vague direction of the tattered corpse somewhere in the building.
"If i was, don't you think i would've protected myself? you wouldn't have needed to kill him"
Silence. the only sound your heavy breath and that damned drip drip drip.
"Then explain"
The edge of the claw cut slightly into your cheek, keeping you facing away as the night haunter moved behind you. The faint whine of servos for a second and then his hot breath was in your ear.
"I have been watching you for a while, watching you ferry your little messages. It was so easy, you were so...pathetically oblivious. And yet when i moved to kill you, i couldnt."
Curze squeezed, drawing a slow trickle of blood down your cheek.
"You were so soft. So gentle with people around you. The thought of hurting you made me sick. It made me rage. I found myself lingering on thoughts of you, if you were....safe" he released your jaw, gesturing around you with a vague motion.
"Each time i saw you alive, it felt like a weight had lifted from my mind. When they came for you, I was unable to resist stepping in. So tell me. What. Did. You. Do"
He gripped your shoulder and spun you, pulling you inches from his face, hair tickling your shoulders as he loomed over you.
"What makes you so special that I need to protect you, if it is not your wretched sorcery"
"I don't know" your voice cracking.

a stsg playlist for you!
hi everyone! my brain is constantly full of stsg brainrot, and likewise, i hear lyrics and immediately have it stained in my mind as a stsg quote. so, here are some song recs/ songs that are just canonically stsg for you along with my highlighted lines from the song that made me align it with them! just bc i’m so brainrotted! -xo, lizzy
ps, i see them and i immediately need a cigarette and divorced dad rock.
thick skull- paramore
“hit over the head (epiphany)/
over my head (repeatedly)/
thick skull never did (nothing for me)/
same lesson again (come on, give it to me)”
the chorus of this song makes me envision satoru falling victim to the prison realm upon seeing kenjaku in suguru’s body. he’s been torn apart by suguru and let him go unscathed, and he never truly learned from that, seeing as though leaving suguru’s body after death is what caused his downfall.
weird fishes/arpeggi- radiohead
“i’d be crazy not to follow/
follow where you lead/
your eyes/
they turn me/
turn me into phantoms/
i follow to the edge/
of the earth/
and fall off”
if i could just use all the lyrics to this song, i would. satoru’s six eyes are a focal point of their arc throughout the manga, seeing as geto explains in the HI/PD arc that if he had gojo’s eyes, he could fulfill his goals. and of course, gojo’s six eyes come back to bite him later when they recognize suguru in the shibuya arc.
from me, the moon- lav
“tell me if the years are all gone/
is the moon still in love with the sun?/
do you still keep count of my sins?”
i fear this one is a slap in the face. they spend so much time together only for suguru to throw them to the side so quickly. i envision this one from satoru’s pov, asking if his other half still wants him. it could also be suguru, too, in that third line, asking if he’s done too much to ever regain satoru in his life.
i guess- mitski
“i guess, i guess, i guess this is the end/
i’ll have to learn to be somebody else/
it’s been you and me since before i was me/
without you, i don’t yet know quite how to live”
they had an identity together as the strongest. they reference that often in the HI/PD arc. i think that’s why suguru’s line in their KFC breakup (yk the one, are you sg bc you’re the strongest, vice versa) hits so hard. gojo had always thought of them as the strongest together while suguru had always seen satoru as an entity so far out of his reach. gojo had to relearn who he was without the man who made him so strong.
past life- tame impala
“well, somewhere between a lover and a friend/
it was different back then/
surreal, poetic but uncertain/
like a chick flick with a confusing end”
yall had to see this one coming. it’s SO THEM. satoru sees suguru in everything, and im sure he sees themselves in yuji and megumi. also, the reference to things being different back then ties together beautifully with the manga’s timeline of introducing their relationship in a flashback. i’d also like to touch on that last line. the confusing end can mean so many things, but i mainly pull from it a reference to their complicated timeline of betrayal, death, resurrection, imprisonment, etc. however, it could also be related to their relationship status when they parted ways at KFC and when suguru died. did that love still exist? we’ll never know, especially bc we can’t be 100% sure what suguru’s last words were.
i’m not a mountain- sarah kinsley
“i swear im unattached/
living in the past, but/
i can’t get off my feet/
you say we’ll all go mad/
but i don’t believe that/
so you’ll prove it to me”
first two lines remind me of the HI/PD arc in its entirety being satoru’s memory in a dream. the last three are reminiscent of suguru’s slipping mental health and his ability to commit what satoru had believed to be impossible (aka, mass murder and leaving him).
i’d hate me too- susannah joffe
“when we last spoke i was a dog with a broken leg/
i couldn’t run to you so i’d bite till you’d shoot me dead/
…
i wanted you to hate me so you’d know i was still there”
i have nothing to say here. just pain.
what are we gonna do now- indigo de souza
“i know you’re worn, you’re exhausted/
this is love/
this is lost on you/
i’m holding my night in your hands”
gojo NOTICED that geto was depressed and detached before the breakup even happened but he tried to see past it because he didn’t want things to CHANGE. i can’t they’re so tragic. he knew he was exhausted but he wanted their love to last and he entrusted his happiness to geto. fuck, man.
duvet- bôa
“and you don’t seem the lying kind/
a shame that i can read your mind”
satoru very clearly did not want to believe that suguru had committed the atrocities he did, but he could believe it because he had noticed how off he was. he read him like a book. this could also signify gojo’s disbelief in seeing suguru’s walking body after having killed him. he’d know his soulmate anywhere.
i saw you in a dream- the japanese house
“i saw you in a dream/
you had stayed the same/
you were beckoning me/
said that i had changed”
this one is definitely from suguru’s pov. we all know the breakup tore up satoru, but it had to destroy suguru, too. his drastic change has to haunt him at night right alongside the thought of gojo.
the comfort of a laugh track- roar
“will i live in shame of/
the things in the past that i should have done for you?/
and is it possible to/
forgive all the ignorant ones if they’re just too young?”
satoru wishes he could have done more to help suguru in his poor wellbeing. maybe then he wouldn’t have left. satoru also forgives his students for their ignorant optimism in spite of knowing what’s to come for them if they’re anything like himself. this entire song is stsg coded; i highly recommend.
—
ANYWAYS, sorry for the yap sesh. i love stsg with my whole heart, as tragic as they are. enjoy the last few days of pride month, folks.

I feel so stupid not to have known this before. I kinda want to scream.
But I found a clue to a canonical answer!
I was looking for something else to prove I was right in an argument that happened last September. (As you do.)
I dug up Mark Gardner's original PDF of Vulcan language material. You see, what we usually use online is the VLD from starbase-10, because it is a site that is actually active and it's reasonably searchable. But the original text is this PDF. I am not sure if any material that exists elsewhere, when it differs from this PDF, is "canon" in the sense of having been created by the Vulcan Language Institute. (Though I do support the idea of Vulcan as a group project, beginning with canon, given structure by the Vulcan Language Institute (Mark Gardner & co.) and continuing on with fan writers today. There is a lot that is missing in the original texts and that's why I spend so much time "reconstructing" it—I want it to be a usable and living conlang.)
Anyway, it has various rituals translated in there, which can be used as source texts to derive grammatical details the creator never explained. And... I found the passive participle, in a very obvious place, in fact the first thing I ever tried to translate that needed the passive participle.
That's right, the greeting of bondmates in Amok Time.

Even in this one text, it's not fully consistent. Dahshau becomes dahshal, very good, no objections here. Similar to one of my speculations.
(Estuhn for "touching" is very interesting to me as well! What are we doing here, what would it be in another word?)
But for estuhl, we get something different. We can't change its ending to L because it already is L. Perhaps that's why the word "vesht," which is the past tense marker, is added. It's possible this form is only used with a verb ending in L, or only irregular verbs; one example isn't a lot to go on.
Took me a second to realize that this combination is simply how the past tense is formed: just -au to -al and vesht+verb for all the other verb types. So instead of creating a passive, he used the past. Because parted, as in "I parted them," and parted, as in "we were parted," are the same form in English even though they're not actually the same grammatically. Can we do this in another language? I guess we can! If it's not confusing in English, I assume it wouldn't be confusing to them either.
Finally, "appointed" uses an entirely different way, a word which I suspect is not a form of "to appoint" but an independent adjective which happens to be cognate. Kru'minaakh becomes kru'minik.
So you can see why I started off feeling dumb (because the work had been done) and ended up feeling frustrated (because it didn't clear much up).
Further research is required.
Digging through this document further, the main thing I notice is that passive voice is avoided whenever possible. "They are introduced," for instance, becomes "he introduces them." This is similarly the case with all the Surak quotes I examined before: either the sentence is rearranged to use the active voice, or the active voice is used anyway, even when the meaning in the translation is passive. We could certainly say Vulcans hate the passive voice even more than English speakers do, and it's not used on most occasions.
I see fulagan translated as "led," when fulag-tor is "to lead." Is that what we do with -tor verbs all the time? However, tvidon-tor becomes tvidonik. A completely different method.
I also see stauk for killed, when stau is to kill. Similarly, nelau, diminish, becomes nelauk, diminished. Since we had -au > -al before, it's safe to say the creator simply hadn't made up his mind at this point.
This wasn't the answer I was hoping for when I found a treasure trove of source texts. But it definitely proves my point: at the time these documents were made, no single way for forming the passive participle had been decided on. I have no idea where Gardner is now, or how much progress, if any, he has made since. His websites are defunct, though I believe his book is still available for sale. (I believe it is the same material in the PDF.)
But I think this just confirms my belief in Vulcan as a group project. We have to choose which options we're going to use, if we want to use it as a complete language that can say what we need it to. These posts should provide, at least, plenty of options.
Passive voice and verbal nouns in Vulcan
I had a question come in the other day and I keep thinking about it, because honestly this is one of the biggest mysteries/pains in the ass about Vulcan. If you want to say that something has been found, for instance, or you want to talk about your findings (that which has been found), the information we have on this is very unclear.
Hold onto your sehlat claw pens, this is gonna be another big 'un.
One thing we do know from the Vulcan grammar is the existence of noun-verb pairs. Every verb has a corresponding noun, we are told, and the formation of these is somewhat regular. Examples include gla-tor, to see, and glan, sight; aitlu, to want, and aitlun, desire; kitau, to write, and kitaya, writing. When the verb has a form ending in -tor, that ending is dropped and sometimes an n is added. When it ends in -au, it changes to -aya. The rest are a little irregular but keep the pattern more or less.
Now what the author of the text isn’t doing is defining what it means for these nouns to be related to these verbs. For the most part, we are seeing an abstract noun for the act of doing whatever the verb is about. So ashau, to love, becomes ashaya, love, the noun. It doesn’t mean a loved one, for instance, which is another way a verb can become a noun. And it’s not a gerund, which would be the act of loving.
We do have gerunds explained, as well as present participles, here. A gerund is when you turn a verb directly into a noun. For instance, Swimming is something I do on Fridays. I like eating cake.
From the grammar, it’s clear that the creator considers the nouns that go with the verbs to be different from the gerund forms. This is true in English as well. We have a noun sight as well as a gerund seeing. I assume the distinction here is that the former is more abstract, the concept of seeing rather than the immediate act of seeing.
Neither is quite the kind of verbal noun I was looking for the other day, where I wanted to talk about the thing that receives the action of the verb, in that case, that which has been won. For instance, in English we can say sight, meaning the faculty of being able to see, but we can also say sight, as in, something that you can or did see. I went around and saw the sights.
We have a few different ways to say that kind of thing in English. For instance, communication can mean the abstract idea of communicating, but it can also be the thing communicated, as in, I just received a communication from Command. Other times, we might use the gerund. I did the washing. I brought home my earnings. In fact, sometimes I think these -aya nouns are being used this way. For instance, khrasaya means both the act of ejaculation and the substance ejaculated. But you can see, by the fact I had to use that example, that it was a little hard to find one.
Passive verbs
The general idea I wanted to convey is specifically passive. For instance, we have a word for love, but the person who receives that love is called beloved. Something that is done is called a deed. We don’t have a regular way to do that as a noun, but we do have passive adjectives (participles). A broken toy. A beaten egg. A swept floor. A scrambled egg. In English, we don’t generally get to use these adjectives as nouns, though many other languages do. (That’s called a substantive: an adjective used as a noun.) We can’t say “I have a big pile of brokens here.”
To get to passive participles, and thus adjectives or nouns, we’ll need to first understand how Vulcan forms the passive voice. We don’t have a word-of-God explanation for how to make passives or passive participles in the VLI lessons. There was one planned, but it has said “coming soon” for like a decade. So the only way to find out how to make these forms is to dive into the dictionary and find related word pairs.
fai-tor: to know ~ pufai-tor: known
datau: propel ~ pudatau: to be propelled
beglanau: to notice ~ pubeglanau: to be noticed; being perceived or observed
ulidau: to mark ~ pu'ulidau: to be marked
There are quite a few of these, which suggests to me that the creator fully intended pu- to be the marker of the passive voice.
They’re not always translated the same. Some are translated with a participle, just “known.” And others are translated with a passive verb, such as “to be propelled.” But given the verbs keep their exact verb form intact, I would say that they are passive verbs, not passive participles. So, pufai-tor nash-veh would mean I am known, and you can make all the tense changes just as you would with the regular noun. I don’t think they’re meant to function as adjectives, because the VLD pretty consistently has adjectives end with -k (or just a hyphen when it’s the combining form). You couldn’t just use a verb form as an adjective.
Some of the translations include words like “past simple” or “past tense” but I’m, uh…not entirely sure the author knows what those words mean. That, or (as I suspect sometimes happens in the VLD) they grabbed the dictionary definition of “held” or “fried” and didn’t think to distinguish the past tense meaning of those words and the passive voice meaning of those words. After all, as English speakers, we don’t often think of the difference; they usually look and sound the same. But the past tense in Vulcan is made with vesht, not with pu, so I really don’t think these are past tense words.
So what if I don’t want to be known, but simply known as an adjective? It’s a little clunky to say, instead of “the beloved mother,” “the mother who is loved” (ko-mekh vi pu’ashau).
You can make an adjective out of any verb, as a present active participle. That’s discussed in the same chapter as gerunds. Basically, you take the gerund form and add -ik. So loving is ashaunik, seeing is glayanik, and so on, in the sense of a loving mother, the all-seeing eye. But these are all active, meaning the action is being done by the word they modify. The one who is loving is the mother. We don’t yet have the beloved mother.
Could we take the pu- form and then put on the participle endings? ko-mekh pu'ashalik? Theoretically you could, but I have never seen this attested once, and we can do better than that.
-alik
Now a Vulcan scholar I’ve followed on a number of sites has theorized the missing form is -alik, at least for verbs ending in -au. Since the past of ashau is ashal, then to make that a past participle, you just slap on an -ik to make ashalik. But this bugs me because the relationship between past and passive (that the forms are often the same, and that participles that are passive are also considered past tense) is really just an English thing. The actual beloved mother is beloved both in the past and now!
The whole justification that they wrote out for it is in a private group, but I’ll bring out a couple of attested verb/adjective pairs they used to come up with it.
is-tor: to use ~ isalik: used
thanai: to adopt ~ thanayalik: adopted
stau: to kill ~ stalik: killed
Another clue is in kugau: to commit ~ kugalsu: betrothed, fiancé. Given they are betrothed as children, that strikes me as passive. Assume kugalik, committed. Drop the -ik, as you do when combining adjectives with nouns, and slap on -su, meaning a person, and bam. Person-who-has-been-committed. You could do this with any of the adjectives we're throwing around.
These examples show that it also works with non-au verbs, basically making -l- the marker of a passive, rather than an active, participle. In many cases, the active and passive participle will be identical except for this one letter: glayanik, seeing, glayalik, seen.
Honestly, this is fine. I can use this, and have. Though it gets a little clunky at times, as in "never and always touching and touched," worla eh kwon-sum estuhlanik heh estuhlalik.
But! There are other possibilities, if what we’re doing is digging through the dictionary looking for pairs of related words.
-k, -auk
There’s the simple -k ending. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find out if this ever attaches to non-au verbs because while I can search the dictionary for -auk, I can’t really search for just -k. Anyway it definitely does happen with -au verbs.
wuvau: to elongate ~ wuvauk: elongated
abomesau: to invert ~ abomasauk: inverted, inverse
torvau: to produce, construct ~ torvauk: product
palikau: to begin ~ palikauk: first
vashau: to destroy ~ vashauk: destructive
There are dozens of these, some with more active definitions and some with more passive ones. Destructive suggests one is doing the destroying, whereas product is very clear that it’s the thing that’s produced. But given we do have a VLI-given active participle (the -nik forms) I would be perfectly happy to stick with using -auk for the passive participle. That only leaves us wondering how to attach that to a verb that doesn’t end in -au. I would probably try slapping a k on a verb stem ending in a vowel, and -uk if it ends in a consonant. But that’s perhaps more of a stretch.
-ai, -aik
I really favor -ai, though it’s not as well attested, for a past participle used as a noun. I just like it.
tor: to do ~ torai: deed, action
kloshah: to behave ~ kloshai: behavior
tenah: to blame ~ tenai: blame (n)
dva-tor: to believe ~ dvatai: doctrine
prah: to acquire ~ prai: acquisition
mah-tor: to strike or hammer ~ mahtai: seizure
Perhaps this was meant as the way to make words into passive participles if they have less regular endings, especially -ah. To make it an adjective, I assume you’d add -k, resulting in a word ending in -aik, which in fact describes tons of adjectives which might or might not be passive participles.
hesha: fold ~ heshaik: pleated
kaula: to prevent from being included ~ kaulaik: excepting
tor: do, act ~ sahr-toraik: fast-acting
Miscellaneous other options
And here are some other pairs from which ideas can perhaps be extracted.
pinkau: to earn ~ pinkaunu: earnings. This one may be a direct translation, putting pinkau in the gerund form and then slapping the rare -u plural ending on it. But perhaps this same process can be done with other verbs.
sadakh: to eject ~ sadakh-tukh: ejecta. Here they’ve simply called it eject-stuff. Respect. It’s the stuff that is ejected. Why not.
And with fai-tor, to know, we have several derivatives:
fainu: something that is known. Just like pinkaunu from above!
fai-tukh: knowledge. Know-stuff.
pufai-tor: known, generally acknowledged. The passive voice from earlier.
To sum up!
Here are the ways I’ve found to make passive verbs, passive participles, and substantive passive participles (participles acting as nouns).
noun forms in -n and -aya, as in lesson 4. These nouns generally mean an abstract action, but at times they are also used to mean the result of that action. See khrasaya: ejaculate, substance containing sperm, and zhipenaya: abbreviation, the shortened form of a word or phrase.
pu- as a prefix directly on the verb. This is well-attested and I think it would have been included in the grammar if they’d gotten to that part. But I will interpret on my own that this is supposed to be a passive verb, not a participle. To be known, to be seen, etc.
-alik: This is not my idea, but I think it’s pretty sound. We have ashalik, beloved, and thanayalik, adopted. It may require a little fussing to make the ending stick to the verb, like how an i has changed to a y in thanai/thanayalik.
-auk: This is pretty well-attested on -au (strong) verbs. You simply add a k.
-ai and -aik: -ai is attested as an ending of a noun, roughly a substantive passive participle, in a few verbs with stems ending in -a or -ah and in one with a consonant ending. And -aik is very common for adjectives in the same circumstances.
-nu: this could be the gerund ending, plus -u. I’ve only seen it attested twice, however.
-tukh: This is very slapdash: [verb]-stuff. -tukh is a particle used for almost any substance, such as all the elements. But it works and shouldn’t be misunderstood. If you were dealing with a person, I would use -su instead of -tukh.
So, if you want to say beloved, here are some possibilities: ashaya, pu’ashau, ashalik/ashalsu, ashauk, ashai, ashaunu, ashau-tukh (or, for a person, ashausu). A sight, as in something you see, might be glan, pugla-tor, glayalik, glai/glatai, glanu, gla-tukh. Words ending in -k are adjectives, so you’d have to have a noun to go along with them.
As a Vulcan user, which should you actually pick? It's clear to me that the creator never had this entirely worked out. Either they intended there to be a variety of options, depending on the type of verb or the meaning, or they changed their mind several times. And I think that leaves us free to choose whatever sounds best or seems most elegant for the purpose.
Funny how a messy conlang is like a messy TV show: the more mess, the more work there is to do for the fan creator. It's in the empty spaces that we have the most to work with.

Happy Pride Month to my Vestige, Aileth! They're my baby, my pride and joy. You go my little Bigender Pansexual queen!

Little rant(?) below the cut. It's sort of everywhere, apologies in advance lol
I've struggled with their identity for years. Much like with my own. I knew she would be Pansexual, but the gender identity continued to elude me. All I knew were the pronouns I wanted them to have and the fact that she was genderqueer in some way. I just never found the right label for Aileth. Until recently, Aileth didn't need a label but I figured as my ideas for them grew I wanted to figure it out. I struggled finding words to describe their identity to people, and I knew I didn't want to just throw my own identity onto her. So I looked around and tried many different labels on them. Genderqueer, Agender, etc. For now, I've settled them with Bigender. Could this change? Yeah, just like my own could, but I'm pretty happy with labeling them as it for now. So happy Pride to us, Aileth. I'm proud of how far we've both come, and I love that I've had you through most of it.
#vestige oc#oc; aileth laelheart#fyre's thoughts#eso#was so hard to find smth to dye well.#tried to do the Bigender colours but had to settle for pansexual colours instead#love my little baby#tried my best to word things in my little rant(?) forgive me if its confusing lol#i struggle explaining things 😔

I wish my gender was easier for me to talk about
#im neither a woman or a man#but I used to be a man and I refer to myself as a man often#I am afab so it’s not confusing#I used to be a man but I never used to be a girl? I felt like I was always genderless#but im also a black woman#im just some guy#but also I feel no connection to gender outside of thinking women are hot#if I wasn’t a lesbian I’d probably be a guy#but also not really because I love being a femme lesbian#and if I was a guy I don’t think id be gnc#and I also want to go on low dose T#and get top surgery but if I do I also want to get breast forms#I think I went on T id be even more femme?? idk how to explain that tho#maybe im just that nigga and that bitch#I know I’m agender#its why I often just refer to myself as [REDACTED] because when I think about my gender#I often feel like it’s static or blurred#Chevys the only one who uses the he in my pronouns so I guess that’s why im also feeling weird#I prefer they but I do like he as wel#im just a guy whose not a boy#I feel like I’ve been degendered my whole life for being black and big#and now that im performing feminity in a state where I feel like me and comfortable#that I’m doing it wrong#and this is in no way to compare my struggles to binary trans people and other trans ppl who are openly like#Seen as trans due to who they’re presenting#because that’s a whole other experience#its like no matter what I do I feel like I don’t belong#I know who I am I just don’t have the exact words for it#im a femme lesbian who is actuallly jist seventeen bouncy beach balls in a trenchcoat

I now know the context for the 'Doctor... you're huge' line
#prince's gaming tag#hi can i ramble for a bit? bc im losing my mind and i didnt screenshot that scene bc i was too focused on what was happening#so like i got to control both characters in this pic for a bit mainly aventurine and he was summoned by Sunday for a negotiation#or so we thought but Sunday wanted to know what his plans were and casted Harmony on him#and then asked him some questions where if he lied there would be dire consequences#and that whole fucking scene had me TENSE like holy shit#and then it was revealed aventurine was lying and it turns out Sunday knew this bc Ratio ratted him out!!!#so it wasnt an negotiation or an interrogation but an execution like aventurine said#so now unless he does what sunday wants hes gonna die in 17 system hours#and like. holy fucking shit. holy shit!!!!#like ok im still kinda confused about the lore of the game and what actually the aeons are and the factions and all that#like theyll say some unfamiliar word and therell be a word above it like its explaining what that word means#but its just another in universe word so im still confused#but with this interrogation scene i got enough of what was going on to get the high stakes#and im just like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA rn in my head bc what the fuuuuuuuuck#now i wonder if this is gonna be why he becomes a boss fight for us#oh also i was right. when aventurine is serious his voice isnt as grating to me so its only when he's forcing his facade that i cant take i#but this interrogation scene was really fucking good#anyway i finished aventurine's pov and im back to trailblazer's pov. I get to see Topaz!!#who i havent met before but apparently the crew has. i guess i didnt do the mission where she was introduced oops#but i hadnt heard her voice before so i thought it was higher pitched and was very glad to hear it wasnt#oh and i gotta pull for aventurine when he comes back bc i need someone who can cast shield on everyone and hes the man for it#the only preservation character i have is march and caelus if i choose that path but i need him on another one rn so march is the main one#but she can only put up one shield at a time which is not enough as the fights get harder

Also its crazy how nobody has called me out or made fun of my blotched speaking on the minecraft server or not. Occasionally they will be confused if i say something dumb but for the most part people habe treated me nicely (aside from when they kill me but whatever)
#it feels very vulnerable#very very vunerable amd raw#especially when i cant tell if they know im english or if theres something else#it takes me a lot of time to reply i can get confused i can just zone out#its difficult#and im hesitent to say that im english because people hate british people and it makes me nervous#that they wont think im serious about learning french or whatever#idk its very difficult and vulnerable but its also a position that im putting myself in#im a lot more comfortable in speaking in main chat now even when i cant fully typo check my words#i didnt the first few days#it feels like being in the closet in a stupid way#like its so so so obvious when youre looking at me but i dont want to admit it#or i have to tell people one by one#and i know theres no logical reasoning beyond feeling 'other' on the server and not wanting others to see that too#but it gets tiring having to explain why im more airheaded than i usually am or why i cant respind quickly#idk its fun and very rewarding but also very stressful and weirdd

Good thing about writing hand-to-hand fight scenes: I am intimately familiar with how it works and don't have to bullshit something together or do any research
Bad thing about writing hand-to-hand fight scenes: I have to assume readers do NOT know anything about it, and describe the movements rather than name them. Because nothing ruins a reading experience like not having any fucking clue what is happening.
#misha rambles#one of these lines is awkward and i need to find a better way to describe it bc it doesn't feel right#i think i fixed it up but woof that was rough#it's always been a peeve of mine when fanfic writers just name moves instead of describing them#the amount of knowledge that assumes a reader has is ridiculous#like... if you had never had a roundhouse kick explained/shown alongside its name#you'd probably confused it with the 'crescent kick' because of the 'round' in its name you'd infer an arc#but it's a snapping kick that starts like a front kick but whips in from the side and uses the top of the foot for the strike#and that's one of the most basic and commonly used in writing#AND that's just when a writer uses ENGLISH for it#don't even get me STARTED on when i read about a mawashigeri instead of a crescent kick#...it's been so long since i was in karate that i can't even remember the jp word for a roundhouse jfc#enpizuki just say they slammed their elbow into the guy cmooonnn

You see the bad part about living in a world where good writing is dismissed is that even technical documents are shit
#like. people think confusing writing is somehow synonym of good writing#in the sense that for a text to be technically and academically good it must be confusing#so its filled with connectives that don't make sense and weird phrase construction#and don't even get me started at how english being the default language makes the local texts all weird#false-friends. weird order. incomplete words. wrong conjugation.#and doesn't matter if i try to fix it or point out#people will ignore it#i'm not even in a language field i'm in a health field#i just trying to make sure the instructions for use are easily understandable#why do i have to explain why the comma is in the wrong place even of the subject is really fucking long#'well i think it looks better this way ' well its wrong. grammatically wrong.

nanami's daughter went through an identity crisis at the age of four.
you were teaching her how to write her own name. she happily exclaimed that she can do it herself, after all papa taught her all the alphabets. she clumsily jot down her supposed name and showed it to you, looking very much proud
suethart nanami
you were confused but told her this was not her name. she looked up at you with confused big doe eyes, the color the same as your husband's
"but thats what papa calls me?"
you chuckled behind your hand and explained to her what her actual name was and how it wasnt sweetheart. she looked so devastated that you almost wanted to rename her.
"no, its sweetheart!"
later that evening, before nanami could even announce he was home and put out his shoes, his daughter went to him running
"papa! whats my name??" she asked very firmly, with arms crossed and brows furrowed
he raised his eyebrow at you to see if it was another tiktok prank where he was supposed to call her 'my princess' (hed gladly do that). you just shrugged your shoulders at him, looking very much done. he fondly huffed, things are always so chaotic with you two, but he wouldnt have it any other way. he smiled softly and patted his baby's fluffy haired head
"sweetheart, at least let me put out my shoes first-"
she cheered happily and threw herself in nanamis arms. out of instinct, he held her, with all the gentleness in the world.
"see mama?? i told you my name was sweetheart!!" she then proceeded to give you a 'i told you so' look
nanami, still very much confused and not out of his shoes looked at you, asking for help. you just sighed heavily
later during dinner time, you and nanami both taught your baby about real names and pet names. she got so pouty after she learnt that her name was neither sweetheart nor baby nor honey, it was taking nanami a lot of willpower to not her rename her sweetheart and bring back her sunny smile. but you reassured her that to you guys she will forever be 'sweetheart'. she lit up at your words and proceeded to happily munch her food
nanami blinked. well that was easy.
tho she had another breakdown when she found out that your name wasnt actually 'my love'.
edit : i have a papa geto work too! pls check it out on my profile!! ty :))

─ A LITTLE BIT HARDER NOW!
WHEN HE PULLS BACK theres drool collecting at the corner of your mouth. You're red in the face, eyes averting in shame 'cause you really do like it when he presses on your tummy like that.
cw. megumi x reader , stomach bulge , tummy pressing , size kink
Right now, Megumi has his grab on your thighs, blunt nails digging into soft flesh, thumbs circling pink bites on the inner sides. It's a routine that's starting to become familiar. Your hips are slightly lifted up from the bed, and he really cant explain why, but when he can see the outline of his dick through your stomach, he absolutely loses it.
You were horrified at the sight when you first saw it, but Megumi on the other hand? He was turned on the most he's been in his entire life.
He just loves pressing on the bulge in your little tummy. Its addicting—watching you squirm and whine and protest with little results. Seeing the way you cant decide if you want to stray from his touch or arch further into it. Loving how big his dick is compared to you.
"Fuck baby," he breathes out in awe. "See that? Feel it? Can you feel my cock deep inside you?" He groans as he pulls out all the way just to slam back into you, starting a fast, rough pace that doesn't seem to let up and makes the sound of sticky arousal totally embarrassing.
A hand retreats from where it's holding up your thigh to grab one of your own hands, wrestling the grip you have on crumpled sheets and guiding it down to your stomach.
"Wha- nghh, M'gumi, don't—!" A long, drawn out moan escapes your lips before the rest of your complaint can. Your hand is trembling, and too weak to escape his grab.
"C'mon sweet girl, don't you like how full I can make you feel?" He coos.
Your head falls to the side, attempting to push your face into the soft pillows, "N-noo... feels so weird..." The drawn out nature of your words make you sound unsure. Megumi doesn't believe that you don't like it, because oh, he knows you do.
"Awwh... you sure you don't like it, baby?" He says, faux innocence laced in his sweet tone. You pout. You know what he's doing to you, and hes so wrong for it. He leans in closer, tilting his head, teasing you so you get all embarrased—hot and flustered. "I should just pull out then if it's too much."
You shake your head so fast you almost get dizzy, unable to form any coherent words. Only small uh-uh's make it past your moans.
It's too hot. Megumi is so, very close to you right now. You're able to feel the radiating warmth of his body, his breath against your ear. With the added weight of his teasing, it becomes far too invading. You bury your face deeper into the pillows.
When you get like that, the heat always pressures you into spilling whatever you don't want to say—always. You make for a terrible, terrible liar.
"What about when I do it like this?" You face him again with curiosity. Your brows are furrowed, sweat beads down your hairline. Glossy eyes search his face in confusion in the cutest way ever before dilating in panic.
He adds more pressure and forces your hand harder onto your stomach, closing the little distance seperating the two of you to kiss you sloppily. You make a noise of shock, whining as he continues to knead your hand onto it.
Your cries melt back into the sound of pleasure, moaning into the kiss, your whining dying down.
When he pulls back theres drool collecting at the corner of your mouth. You're red in the face, eyes averting in shame 'cause you really do like it when he presses on your tummy like that. "Tell me how much you love it," he taunts.
When you're like this, you're able to feel all of him. Able feel every single thrust just grazing your cervix, senses going into overdrive as you subconsiously stop trying to fight his hold on your hand with the little to no strength you were using to begin with.
"I, hahh, love it! Love your cock s-so much! Feel so full... hah- aah—!" With one last thrust, your back arches, core unraveling around his length. Walls tightening, spasming in a way that makes Megumi spill all his praises. As your chest heaves heavily, your abdomen flexes and tightens, revealing the silhouette of your boyfriend's cock stuffed inside of you even clearer now.
The corner of his mouth quirks up in pride, "I bet you do, baby. I fuckin' bet."
He really should start doing this more often.

WHY ARE WORDS HARD.
anyone else always at war with words and never gets along with them? because they refuse to say what you want them to say? and people always interpet words differently than you? 😅
#do you ever use words to try describing an abstract feeling...but the words make people feel something opposite so they misinterpret#i do this all the time. theres a disconnect between how my brain works and the english language and its so hard to connect them#so the result is me wording things very wrong in everyone elses eyes and they tell me im saying the opposite of what i mean#but i cant guess how people will interpret words i use! even if i did use them strictly by definition. no exaggeration or metaphor#so i cause misunderstandings ALL THE TIME.#anyone else good at doing this? anyone else really bad at turning your feelings into words and explaining and doing it wrong? 😅#and if i ever make a post or reply to anyone here that confuses or upsets you im sorry. you can ask for clarification and ill try to explain#but i cant promise the explanation won't be a panicked trauma response that doesnt make sense.....#because misunderstandings are the biggest trigger for my trauma even if its a tiny one.....so panic trauma brain tries to do words#which often makes it even worse lmao. but its trying its best i promise 😭#lee text
