The whole reading out the ‘King in Yellow’ play scene in the “Muddy hoofprints” stream has been stuck in my mind and just- I love it. I love the way that Aura’s spiral after reading the book has been shown, so far through stars hallucinations, running off into the woods in the rain, reciting passages, the repetition, all of it. And since that stream I’ve been thinking about how cinematic it all was, and I really like how that scene could be but in to boxes, like a comic book strip, of flashes of what Aura did remember of there time after they snapped out of it. And so I drew this!

It’s a little “scratchy”? I don’t know how to verbalise how I feel about it but it wasn’t drawn with the intent of looking clean, I wanted it to be messy, a scramble. It also was a way to help encourage myself to draw different angles and features, and I kept it black and white to keep it tense rather than loud colours I generally like using. Overall I just had fun with it because this has been itching my brain and my hand finally decided it knew how to do the thing I was envisioning, anyways! Enough rambling.

ps: these are my observations of what I “personally” found beautiful in charts of people I like! What I find beautiful you may not and it’s ok! I originally added pictures and celebrity examples but chose to remove them instead for some reasons;))

Venus conjuct Rahu in 1st/5th/10th house (Sidereal)

hypnotising beauty! Siren like, the one you get lost in! Extra points if Venus is in Pisces , Libra or Sagittarius

Pluto or Uranus in 2nd house

they have something very striking about their eyes! Usually sharp inner corners and contoured eyes/dark circles, almost intoxicated! Pluto here usually gives very striking dark colour while Uranus gives rather striking colours, personal observation lol

Venus in Virgo in angular houses, Virgo Rising (both sidereal and tropical)

Clean, appealing beauty! So well kept and clean, very striking and very youthful looking! High cheekbones or some very special angular face shape. Sharp eyes and/or jaw

Venus in Sagittarius or Neptune in 1st house

Doll beauty, beauty that is youthful and optimistic! Very charming and dove like! I have somehow seen the usual doe eyes, soft face and a relaxing, setting sun kind of beauty in these people!

Venus in Capricorn (well aspected + earth rising)

modelesque (idk if that’s a word lol) kind of beauty. Very steady appearance, a resting bad b face, feels out of reach or way too good for the people types!

Sun in Aries/Libra/Leo/Taurus (both sidereal and tropical)

very feminine or female appealing beauty! Usually very noticeable even from afar. People may find you very charming

Venus aspecting Jupiter

big facial features, big eyes and big smile and very golden aura! I don’t know why but these people almost have a dreamy appearance as if their appearance is almost blurred no matted how they look!

Venus/Moon in Pisces or positive Venus Moon aspects

Pretty when I cry type of beauty! Very big, watery, dreamy eyes usual downturned, eyes that seem deep and emotional

Sagittarius Risings (both sidereal and tropical)

I think the beauty differs based on people to people but they are so beautiful, they have some unique facial symmetry or proportionate! Usually a glowy skin! Very approachable, welcoming beauty!

Moon/Venus in Swati or Pushya

Very captivating especially! A beauty you get lost in, water like almost! These people have a very good ability to mirror people, have a presence of making you so seen and understood that I feel is part of the charm! Big eyes or watery, deep eyes.

A well placed/exalted Mars

you may argue well they aren’t conventionally beautiful or very approachable but they are usually very striking and confident given other placements support!

Of course, Venus Risings. I don’t even have to explain lol

Ok one last thing! Look at the inner planets to make better sense

Mercury/Saturn type of beauty is usually very proportionate, striking and posing. Fine wine types.

Moon/Jupiter type of beauty is very doll like, compassionate and almost first love like! Big features that reflect and show emotions.

Sun/Mars type of beauty is rather fierce and confident, more aura based, very sharp! Attention catching

Positive aspects to NN in angular houses usually give a beauty that usually appeals people regardless and just amplifies the effect of the other conjuncting planet.

ps! Next time a post through beauty asteroids they’re even better! lmk if you’d want that!

Look this is how I drew RBA Blades for the first time (My urge to turn anything into a bird is always very big)

I keep the first sketches away from eyes because I find it so cringe, but I gotta document my progress. In comparison to this drawing below one can immediately see the difference. (Inbetween these two sketches I did a ton of sketchbook drawings of RBA Blades in different poses to memorise him clearly)

This one even features the first sketch of Calamitas, I found it ugly so I just left it there and started a new drawing. It worked out tho.

This was more like me messing around and trying to understand colour a tad bit more. Like how mixing works.

There was another sketch on this page, but I didn't like the pose. I want to draw weird horror/fantasy stuff most of the time. But this dragon version didn't click with me. Like, how do I make him creepy

I think I am stuck with dragon Blades, but I think I need to look at more dragons or interesting animals. Maybe some insects or fishes. Or some rare mammal

This one is also experimental. Whenever I have "WIPs" I don't think to myself "I have way too many" I simply discard or keep one or two wips to work on later. If a wip becomes too old, it's usually better to redraw the idea (if I wanna tinker with it some more)

Sooo, to absolutely no one's surprise the new Percy Jackson reboot kicked me into full-blown pjo brainrot mode again lol. I saw these super cute fits and some vintage photos of Venice alleyways floating around on Pinterest and was consumed with the need to draw the Di Angelo siblings in them (it's probably wildly "historically and geographically" inaccurate for them, but we're just going to have to deal with the fact that I'm dumb and uncultured xD It's the vibes™ that count, okay!)

after 11 years I FINALLY drew myself a winter outfit for my 2014 deviantART ID...........! yes you read that right, 2014... it's been in the back of my mind haunting me for over a decade so I HAD to do it someday lmao

ancient summer wardrobe is on the left in pink; funnily enough I had that shirt in a bag to toss when I moved out of home in 2020 but then spotted my mum wearing it a few years later haha.... she said it was too pretty and comfy to toss despite the wear and tear and I partially agree (it has sequins up the wazoo and they would always scratch up my arm, which was why I gave it away)... I don't wear scarves anymore for the same texture reason but I still kept all of the ones my school friend made for me!

I also made an alternate art with my old V-Pet Turbo for the nostalgia, though his internal battery finally gave out back around 2021 too........ nowadays I wear a necklace my partner gave to me so I guess there's always something sentimental around my neck at any given time lol-- really when I think about it, there's a story behind almost every part of these outfits! the only outliers are the hand/wrist accs on the summer one that I drew on a whim, everything else is something actually in my closet haha

As with previous OC sketches, details about them are under the read more. There's a lot of overlap because, obviously, Edwyn and Ingja are a couple.

Edwyn Verne

Edwyn never felt the strongest of ties to his homeland of High Rock. He had no family so to speak of, and never really had the confidence to settle down anywhere for long. It was just him, his handful of books, and his conjurations for company and had been that way since he was a young teen... but even then, he had difficulty controlling the conjurations.

Once the Great War was over, just as he reached adulthood, he decided to try and hone his magic, and ventured over the border into Skyrim, to join the College of Winterhold. His studies were going incredibly well after just a few months there, and he had made extensive progress in taming his wolf familiar, Spectre. But one day, a little rabbit interrupted them, sending Spectre crazy as he began to chase the creature - unfortunately injuring Ingja, who had been out hunting in the frozen lands around Winterhold, in the process.

After helping to return the injured Ingja to Winterhold, she begrudgingly offers to thank him with a drink at the inn. One drink turned to two, and a night out in thanks turns to numerous nights out, and even a few days, as a curiosity in magic had been ignited in her and he had offered to teach her.

He falls for her hard over those few month - just as she did for him. Unfortunately, their first kiss gets disturbed by her brother, and Edwyn ends up with a bounty on his head for 'clearly controlling Ingja with his foul magic', when he didn't know an ounce of illusion magic - not that her family knew or cared for the differences between the schools of magic, it was all the same for them.

But that doesn't deter them from seeing each other. Or running away from Winterhold together, for that matter. Or getting married and even having a child, their beloved daugher Elyse.

They find themselves in High Rock once more, and he takes on various teaching positions to try and earn money whilst Ingja takes on more dangerous tasks as a hunter and mercenary for hire. He would constantly fret about her any time that she was gone for more than a day, though always hid his worry from the ever-curious Elyse, and would relish in the relief whenever she would return home.

As soon as they had enough money to do so, the family moved to somewhere more stable - Chorrol. Life almost seemed perfect... until the love of his life began to fade away before his eyes.

Ingja Frosthand

Ingja had always been taught never to interact with and never trust the mages in the College, and she had no reason not to believe that. Unless it came from her mother, who always seemed to have a bone to pick with her and only seemed to care about her younger brother. She only really cared about what her father thought on matters though, and that was what he believed.

One of her favourite pasttimes had always been hunting from as soon as she was taught to wield a bow, which even in spite of the lands around Winterhold being sparce, she could easily spend days upon days exploring the environment and making sure that her family could eat well for a time. On one of her hunting trips, following an argument with her mother, she ends up getting injured as a result of Edwyn's experiments with his conjurations. He helped her return to Winterhold, and though it went against every instinct in her body, because he was a mage, she offered to buy him a drink in thanks.

Much to her surprise... she realises that Edwyn, and in turn the mages in the College, were just as much people as she and the other residents of Winterhold were. And she found his clumsiness and enthusiasm to be endearing... and she fell in love with him after asking him to teach her how to use magic herself. On the day that she finally created a flame with his tutelage, she couldn't help but pull him in for a kiss... just for her brother to witness it, freak out, and run to tell her parents.

Enraged that her father had the gall to get a bounty placed on Edwyn's head, and to ground her in spite of her being an adult in her own right whilst also planning to have her sent away from Winterhold to distance her from Edwyn, she manages to earn her way into the College before planning to run away with Edwyn so that they could be together.

Putting Winterhold behind her for Edwyn was one of the few reckless decisions she knew that she would never regret, especially from the moment she held their daughter in her arms for the first time. She only returned to Winterhold after thirteen years, Elyse in tow, on the day of her father's funeral. Edwyn kept himself hidden away in Windhelm on that day on her request, knowing full well that the bounty had never been removed from his head.

Though life was incredibly unstable whilst Elyse was young, her jobs putting her into increasingly dangerous situations, the day that she and Edwyn paid for a house of their own in Chorrol was enough to make her cry because she no longer needed to put herself in danger. She actually picked up some hobbies, like alchemy and baking, but never put down her bow... at least until her bones grew weary and weak, before she fell into death's grasp.

To say that she was horrified when her daughter appeared in Sovngarde saying that she was Dragonborn, and there to defeat Alduin, was an understatement.
