"Hey hey it's okay mom it's just me..." The young preteen said when her mother jerked awake in a bit of a panic. picking up the washcloth, she gently pushed her back down to the bed. "You have a fever. Just relax okay?" She gave her mom a kiss on the head.

Natasha never got sick. That was one of the benefits of the "Graduation" she underwent. But when she got finished with one of the jobs, she hadn't thought much about fight until she'd started feeling ill. By the time she'd gotten home and checked herself out, any mark from a needle was gone. Whatever the plan had been, it was well thought out.

So when she had dreams of her family being ripped away, her life torn to shreds, she jerked awake and the world took a moment to focus. She faintly heard Reianna, the younger redhead sounding as if she was underwater as she spoke. She wanted as she tried to calm her racing heart, hating the feeling of being sweaty and gross. Natasha looked at Rei and sighed. "Water?" She asked, feeling like she needed something to soothe her.

"Whoa, uh, just hold on a minute," Dean replied, a hint of sheepishness at the edges of his words. "I mean, let's not get crazy here, all right? Candy is a crucial part of Halloween, huh?" His focus shifted from Rei to the small wagon she was dragging along behind her, licking his lips before he met her gaze again.

Meanwhile, Sam was grinning at his brother's backtracking, knowing that Reianna had gotten under his skin. "You're sure, Dean? I thought you said something about catching a rerun of 'Jeopardy!'," he chimed in, his voice laced with a sliver of amusement and playfulness. His grin only bloomed into a full one when Dean shot him a somewhat vexed look, rolling his eyes at Sam once more.

"All right, all right — you made your point," he brushed it off gruffly, his attention lingering on Sam for a beat longer before turning back to her. It was then that Dean realized that she was dressed as Daphne, his brows quirking up as he scanned over her frame slowly. God, help him, she had always been attractive, but the Daphne costume added a whole new level of... interesting. Clearing his throat and giving her a smile, he met her gaze and gave a slight inclination of his head, "Anyway, uh... you're looking good, Rei. Let's get this show on the road, huh?"

Sam, noticing the almost imperceptible undertones in the older Winchester's response, arched his brows and glanced between the two of them for a second before he spoke up. "Yeah, I'll help you set up," he offered, standing up and moving around the table to join her side. Grabbing the larger pumpkins first, he carefully moved them to the table, where Dean took hold of them and continued to set up their area. When they had finished, Sam gave her a small, friendly smile and gestured lightly to the set up, "Thanks for bringing all of that, by the way — you really didn't have to. Dean and I could have supplied some of it."

"Hey, I mean, we're supplying the place, the beer, and a touch of the good ol' Winchester charm," Dean interjected with a smirk as he began poking around in some of the bags, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Cake?" he began with a slight, playfully offended tone, "Where's the pie?" But he was cut off by Sam's sharp response.

"Dean," he scolded, annoyed by his seemingly ungrateful response. Then, more gently but firmly, he added, "It's close enough, right?" Shaking his head, he moved to take his seat at the table, set aside his laptop, and pulled over one of the pumpkins. Sam shot an apologetic look toward Reianna, lips pressed into a thin line.

With a suppressed sigh, Dean stared after his younger brother for a minute before he addressed her instead, knowing that was Sam's way of telling him that he might have unintentionally crossed a line. "I'm sorry, Rei," he stated steadily, a hint of sincerity at the edges of his words. "I don't mean to come across as ungrateful. You've done a lot for us and this is great, so... thanks." With a small, genuine smile, Dean stepped forward and brushed his hand against her arm gently in a chaste gesture, his appreciation evident in his verdant gaze.

Rei was sitting hunched over in a chair, rubbing the bridge of her nose in obvious discomfort.((Thought I would just throw somethin random at you hope this is okay. Could be for anyone.)

Gabriel observed her closely across the room, concealing his presence from the woman.  So this was Reianna Winters — she had been hanging out around the Winchesters more lately, unwittingly drawing Heaven's watchful gaze.  And that probably wasn't for the best, considering his brothers wanted them as meat suits.  She had a hard enough life without worrying about being manipulated in their little spat over toys, and the archangel knew it was only a matter of time before Zachariah and the others tried to use her as some messed-up poker chip in their game.

Her discomfort wasn't lost on him, feeling the energy radiating off her in subtle waves. Silently, he took a few steps toward the human but kept a respectful distance, tilting his head a fraction, caught somewhere between helping her and letting her handle it herself. Deciding to make things a little interesting, and curious about what the woman's reaction would be, he revealed himself and cleared his throat, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. "Penny for your thoughts?" he piped up with a sliver of playfulness.

"Maaaa! Mooom close your eyes! Keep um closed!!" The little girl led her mom into the kitchen "No peakin no peakin!! okkkaaay open your eyes!!" On the table was a small cake messly decorated like a chicken surrounded by the little ones favorite snacks and cookies, thoughtfully arranged with a colorful handmade card. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!!"

The elder redhead did as her daughter asked and let the little one lead her into the kitchen. When she was allowed to open her eyes, she grinned brightly and hugged her little girl. "Did you make this all by yourself?" She asked, proud of her little Rei for everything. "It's amazing. And the card is one of the best ones I got. Perfect."

Bucky softly cups her cheek, kissing Rei with a joyous warmth. "Hm, just don't tell the unicorn police." Murmuring with a laugh as he pecks her lips once more before tugging his shoes off and crawling into the teepee.

He looks over at Alpine who seemed to be on planet 9. "Lucky kitty." He smiles before looking back at Rei. "You know, i still love when you're spontaneous."

((Hi! I do celebrate Thanksgiving actually!

My family is big enough that we split Thanksgiving festivities like we do Christmas. We celebrate with my dad’s side of the family the night before, and we celebrate with my mom’s side of the family the day of.

Dean was sitting on one of the plastic and metal poolside chairs, his shirt tucked off to the side and the warmth of the summer day enveloping him. His eyes flickered from Rei to the sunscreen bottle, nose wrinkling imperceptibly as he contemplated her question. With a slight nod and a sliver of mirth, he glanced toward the pool briefly. "Might as well," he mused, a small smirk curling at the edges of his lips. Then, he slipped into a more flirtatious tone as he met her gaze once more, "Do I get to return the favor?"
