Found this wonderfully animated ad for the first Dinotopia book.

It was directed by the late C. Martin Croker of Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Brak Show fame. Seeing this ad makes me wish there was a proper animated adaptation of the Dinotopia books.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Created by Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro for Cartoon Network's late night programming block Adult Swim, Aqua Teen Hunger Force centers on the surreal adventures and antics of three anthropomorphic fast food items who live together as roommates.  The trio include Master Shake, a selfish, pathologically lying milkshake; Frylock, a calm and intelligent box of French fries; and Meatwad, a shapeshifting, childlike ball of ground meat. 

The trio is always up to some sort of strange misadventure, often to the chagrin of Carl, a middle-aged, boorish, lecherous sports fanatic who lives next door.  The Hunger Force frequently encounter new antagonists with many episodes featuring cameos from celebrities appearing as fictionalized versions of themselves.

The bizarre series premiered in September of 2001 and featured an ensemble voice cast including Dana Snyder, Carey Means, Dave Willis, Matt Maiellaro, George Lowe, C. Martin Croker, Andy Merrill, Mike Schatz and Schoolly D.  Aqua Teen Hunger Force ran for 12 seasons culminating in a  feature film entitled ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Movie Film for Theaters.’

when I say so much of the best of modern adult animation would not exist without this show and the brilliant comedic delivery of George Lowe, Andy Merrill, and C Martin Croker. The fact that we've already lost two of them so young is devastating.

Space Ghost - Host No More! pg. ??

This was a test page to see if I could make a Space Ghost comic that captured the combo of the 60's Alex Toth designs and 90's C. Martin Croker animation I see in my head and I got pretty close!
