An AU where Lucifer and Adam fall in love after Lilith fled the garden yet went back to convince Adam to join them, in this universe, Lilith convinced Adam and he joined their revolution. Lucifer falls in love with Adam during their time planning, he tells Lilith and she understands. Eventually with time heaven finds out about this whole entire thing, including Adam and Lucifer's now growing relationship/ family. And lastly Lucifer is given a hard gut wrenching choice. To pick choosing to save Adam and their son instead of keeping his memories of falling in love with Adam. The consequences of chosing this option is that both Lucifer and Adam would forget their history together as if it never existed, the gain from this? Heaven doesn't have to get rid of Adam and Abel.

Eve basically raised Abel as her own without the knowledge that she did not birth him unlike Cain. Adam continues being the chosen one to father all humanity alongside Eve, his wife. And ends up growing resentful towards Abel thinking he was the result of Eve’s and Lucifer's affair as Abel looked and acted identical to Lucifer. Eve obviously denied everything but Adam was too blinded by rage and betrayal to believe her word for it. Eve knew Abel was Adam's but deep inside she felt no genuine connection to Abel like a mother would have to their child. But she loved Abel regardless.

And as for Lucifer, he has no knowledge of Abel being his son neither does he hold any feelings for Adam. He remembers nothing.

The moment Adam dies however, Lucifer regains his memories, immediately, his heart shattered into pieces. And also, he so desperately wants to reconnect with his son afterwards.

Eve’s first Hellborn children were a pair of hellhounds. She was out when she found a hellhound close to death but still putting all of her energy into protecting her pups. Eve kneeled before her and laid her spear aside. They both knew it was too late for the mother, but Eve still offered her food and companionship in her final moments.

She held that mother as she passed to wherever Hellborn go when they die, whispering promises that she would care for her pups as if she bore them herself.

She left behind a mother and a pup she’d been to late to save, and brought home with her three pups just barely old enough to be weaned.

Eve ground meat and mixed it with water so it was soft enough for the pups to chew until they and their teeth were strong enough to tear it apart themselves. Neither Abel or Cain had been there when their many siblings were born, their tragedy playing out while it was just the two of them, but they helped where they could under their mother’s guidance.

One pup did not make it, he was simply too sick, and Eve buried him with a heavy heart, remembering the children she had lost on Earth.

The remaining two survived. Eve taught them to hunt, farm, sew, play, tell stories, tend to wounds and illness, and anything else she thought they needed to know. They grew up strong and smart and loved.

Once adults one chose to remain unwed, preferring to help care for her adoptive pack instead of starting her own. She was a wonderful aunt and sister.

The second found a fine husband and bore Eve’s first Hellborn grandchildren. They made a fine pack that lived not too far from Eve’s home, often coming to visit.

Genuinely fascinated by Spinel's desire to insert himself into Gibeon's legacy.

He wants to be like Gibeon himself (resonated with his desire to use the eternal blessing and deeply respected him for it, and asserted that he would surpass Gibeon). He seemingly wants to be Gibeon's closest confidant, Lucius (he cut Lucius off while he was talking and dismissed him as a ghost and seemingly wasn't pleased by Lucius's influence on Gibeon because it made him hesitate).

He simultaneously wants to be the favored son-in-law (Crave) who is entrusted with Exceed, and the favored grandchild (Amethio) who was set up to become heir to the Explorers and Gibeon's original will. He takes over both parts of Gibeon's legacy (Exceed and the Explorers) right after Gibeon passes on and entrusted his original wish to Amethio. He considered himself as more worthy of inheriting Gibeon's will and he is the continuation of Gibeon's mindset and fascination towards the Rakurium. He wants to be in that family tree.

Lucifer and Cain have a talk.

Lucifer: "Did Adam ever abuse you?" He sks his son, trying to put an end to this silence.

Lilith left them alone to have a talk, meanwhile she was talking care of the royal duties for the two of them. She knows Lucifer need to have a talk with his long-lost son so she can wait to have her turn with her stepchild that in another life she could have called son and she would be saw by him as his mother as Eve. Too bad that the world was cruel for everyone.

Cain: "No, but he never pretended to be my father. Adam raised me but let clear from early on that I wasn't his son, even when I was too young to understand. For him I was a constant reminder that his second wife cheated on him with his ex and the angel she ran away with." The First Murderer says, still looking up at heaven in the red sky of hell. "After I killed Abel, he said to me my face in front to mom and the angels that he regret don't having crushed me on a rock when I was a newborn before I could harm any of his sons." He clenches his fists and Lucifer looks horrified for a moment, rage sparking in his heart.

Lucifer: "You didn't deserve it, Cain. You deserved to have a father, I wanted to be a father but I didn't even know you were my child until you appeared here....and your stepmother is having troubles in giving birth....no one of your siblings survived until now." The Devil looks to the floor as he thinks about how he wasn't present on Cain's life and Lilith's curse given by his own family.

Cain: "I thought it too for a long time as I saw how much Adam loved Abel and his other children on his own way. I was so envious, nothing I did made him accept me as his own. My mother also tried to make us get closer, but this only got him angrier with her and then they fought more." He remembers their fights.

Lucifer: "How Eve was....after me and Lilith were banished? We lost contact with our Evening Star after giving her the Apple. You know, planned to make official our relationship and live in our own corner of Eden, if not somewhere else, but everything quickly went to hell after we unleashed Evil."

Cain: "Bad but it could be worse. Adam wasn't abusive with her either if you're thinking about it, but he held a grudge for having lost everything and being stuck with mother and me on Earth. She tried to make things work between them; so he did too begrudgingly out of a sense of duty, pragmatism.....and also because he was afraid to be alone. I hate Adam, but also pity him." He remembers how miserably he was with Eve.

The Mother of Humanity actually tried to make things easier between them. It was out of some feeling of love she still felt for him despite everything or just pity? Who knows, Cain didn't really understand even now what his mother and stepfather felt for each other and honestly? Regardless of what Eve really feel for him, Adam doubt and refuse to consider the possibility she trully love him because he knows that like him if she could chose she would have left.

Lucifer: "Did your mother ever talked about me and Lilith?"

Cain: "No more than Adam who was cursing your names constantly. After I was old enough to understand things better, my mother had a talk with me in which she told about her story with you and Lilith."

Lucifer: "Did she regret us? "

Cain: "She feel regreat but not remorse. My mother told me that despite everything if she could go back in time she would still eat the Apple, I don't know if she changed her mind after I killed Abel..... I never saw so much rage in her eyes before. I think she hates me now." It hurts him the mere thought.

The way how Eve looked at him, Adam and the angels as she cried, hugging tightly Abel's body, haunted Cain up to this day.

Lucifer: "I see." He reflects for a moment. "Heh, she and Lilith are more similar than people give them credit. " He says with a little of humor, wondering like Cain if Eve hates him and Lilith now.

Hey if anyone is still around from my D.Gray-Man theorizing days, I’ve got another crumb for you.

I’m almost certain that what Cross meant by “you will kill someone you care about” is that should Neah take over, he will kill what remains of Mana. A lot of people have also caught onto that!

But… I also think it has a double-meaning. Cross doesn’t want this to happen any more than we do. I think… I think part of him hopes Allen can win. And, I think, if that happens, Neah’s memory will be destroyed and he will die.

And if Neah is to be believed, Allen offered himself as a sacrifice willingly.

Now, maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Past Allen did this entirely logically, if he really was the previous Bookman Junior. Maybe he looked at this from a detached perspective and decided this was the most likely solution to save the world. But something tells me that’s not the case.

Allen as a person… even before Mana, even as Red, he was emotional and empathetic and felt things extremely deeply.

I think he loved Neah.

And I’m afraid now, what he will do when he remembers that.
