Johnny Storm x fem!reader
summary: You decide you want to have a baby with Johnny when you see him playing with Franklin.
cw: MDNI (18+) smut ( p in v) unprotected sex (wrap it before you tap it) breeding kink
Laughter fills the living room where you sit with Johnny, Reed, Sue, Ben, and Franklin. Johnny is holding Franklin as you all make conversation with one another and you can’t help but stare at him. You’ve always wanted children and right here and now, you’re sure that you want to have Johnny’s baby.
It gets to a point where you have to turn away before your thoughts consume you. You’re both always so careful in the bedroom, trying to prevent pregnancy and you’re not entirely sure how he would feel about actually getting you pregnant right now. You’re actually very sure because you always agree that you want them eventually.
You wonder if he’ll let you take him back to his place and do unspeakable things to you. You need him so bad that you’re starting to ache between your thighs and he needs to take care of it soon or there will just be a huge mess.
Johnny knows something is up with you, but he can’t quite put his finger on what. You’re antsy and he’s wondering if you maybe had too much caffeine. You did have three cups of coffee the entire time you’ve been there and he’s thinking maybe that he should cut you off. He doesn’t want to go another night where you don’t sleep. He would hate that for you.
Reed has suggested that the five of you play a game, but you need to get Johnny home right now and you haven’t had a chance to discuss why you’re acting so strangely. After agreeing to stay for games, he moves to sit next to you after he hands Franklin off to Ben. Your hand lands on his thigh as you scoot closer, your thighs touching.
“I need you,” you whisper in his ear.
“I’m right here,” he tells you, only understanding what you mean when he pulls back, your eyes boring into his. “Sorry guys,” he turns to face everyone else who’s on the opposite side of the living room. “But y/n’s stomach is upset. I hate to cut this short.”
“Oh, it’s no problem,” Sue says as she stands up from the couch, following you both to the door like the good hostess she is. “Feel better, y/n,” she tells you as Johnny helps you put on your coat. As you head out the door that Johnny is holding open for you, Sue hands him some leftovers from dinner while leaning close to her brother so you can’t hear what she’s about to say.
“You’re not as slick as you think you are,” she tells him with a glare. “I’d come up with a better lie next time.” With that, she ushers him out the door and slams it in his face when she sees he’s about to try to defend himself. He just shakes his head and helps you get into the car like the gentleman he is.
He’s definitely going way over the speed limit but he doesn’t care. He probably needs you right now more than you need him, which didn’t seem possible. Those damn pants that you’re wearing have been torturing him all night and he’s very much looking forward to ripping them to absolute shreds as soon as he gets you into the house. He wants lie you on your bed and fuck you until neither of you can take it anymore. He wants to make a mess-to absolutely violate you. His mind is racing with impure thoughts and he’s surprised that he’s able to get you both to your house in one piece.
You don’t even make it upstairs, your lips on his as soon as you’re in the house and he’s backing you into the living room. Clothing is flying as you undress each other and when you’re both in your underwear, you push him onto the couch, unhooking your bra as you do so.
Your panties follow and he’s gotta take a second to look at you-to admire the woman who, for whatever reason, chose him. He doesn’t know how the fuck he got so lucky but never takes you for granted.
“Fuck, I love you,” he sighs.
“I love you too,” you reply, wondering how you’re going to tell him that you don’t want to use a condom. There was only one time where you didn’t use one and that was only because you were drunk and neither of you could get the packaging open. “I was thinking…”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah. I saw you with Franklin tonight and it got me thinking…what if we have our own baby?” His eyes widen and you get worried that you’ve fucked everything up.
“A baby?”
“Yeah.”
“Honey,” he pauses and you hold your breath, “I think that’s an amazing idea.” You finally breathe and all either of you can do is smile about the decision you’ve just made. He kisses you again and again as you slide off his underwear then get on top of him. He’s pounding into you as you ride him, the most filthy things he’s ever said coming out of his mouth and that’s making you even more wet. Your hands are scratching down his back as moans pour from your mouth, only encouraging him even more.
“God, you’re gonna be so hot,” he says, his nails digging into your hips, yours scratching down his chest. “I’m gonna lose my mind just thinking about it.” Your pace picks up and he follows, both of you moving so fast and hard that the couch is shaking underneath you.
“Well, you’re going to be a great dad,” you reply. “I just know it.”
“Shit, sweetheart, are you trying to make me cum?”
“Yeah, baby, that’s kind of the point,” you laugh. You both move even faster and just by the look on Johnny’s face, you can tell that he’s close. He just needs a little more and then he’ll get there. A few more thrusts from him and he’s at his peak.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he whines as he’s coming, fully seated inside you and you can practically feel him in your stomach. You both stay there as he comes down and then you grab a damp washcloth to clean yourselves up. Once you’re done, he carries you up the stairs where you both climb into your bed, snuggling up to each other just like you do every night. You go to sleep with smiles on your faces, hoping that not long from now, you’ll be showing him the positive test.

I can’t say much because I’m not exactly Aang… BUT here’s what I think.
I believe that Aang really didn’t HAVE to do anything… IF he had stayed in the iceberg. But the moment he came out, the moment he found friends in Katara and Sokka, he would have wanted them safe. And when he finds out that the fire nation was threatening that safety? He would go all in to prevent his friends from harm- as you see in the “The Boy In The Iceberg PT2.
But let’s take a step back and try to answer what he would get out of saving the world. Well, multiple things. He could continue to revive the culture of the air nomads in a peaceful atmosphere, live a long fulfilling life WITHOUT worrying about the fire nation torching the world, and honest recognition as the Avatar.
But besides that… not much. And he was still 12 when he was pushed into the role. But honestly I don’t think he cared, or ever would care, about what he would get from ending the war himself. His main problem was about how to end it and why himself was chosen to end it. That doesn’t make it any less tragic. Even more tragic is that fact that many people in the same position would have done the same, or similar.
And honestly I would to. Not out of obligation, but because it was the right thing to do, and no one else seems to be doing any better in solving the issue. Many were even making it worse. Though I would sure as hell complain and contemplate it, I would have definitely wanted the war to end.
So what does he get out if it and why would he do it, putting aside the call of ‘duty’?
For the safety of everyone who showed him kindness and to put an end to the person who was out to destroy the world that he loved. He fought because it was the right thing to do.
Well, that’s just my personal opinion anyways. It took me quite a while to answer it, I really had to backtrack from the usual ‘call of duty’ thing that I believe was his main motivation. I always liked Aang bc he was always to carefree and selfless, but did not disregard the need to do the right thing and decided to save the world despite the option to just stay away. Perfect balance of responsibility and lightheartedness.
Aang's needs(never spoken about)
What stakes does Aang has in ending the war as, why would he risk so much(his life, Appa, air nomad culture)? Why would he fight so much? Why would he has to mean so much? Why would a 12yo NEEDS to bear all this weight?
In easier terms, what does he gets out of this? And no, fullfilling some role that was put on him by the universe, past lives, world leaders, allies, "friends" is wrong answer, what does HE gets out of this after giving so much?
Also Aang dosent mean creators, writers or his so called "stans" so please engage in good faith.

Finding out odd things in the Splatoon fandom
#loser’s liddol rambles#so first of all. apparently a character from one of the bands is trans??? I thought that she was just a dude ??? 😭😭#the wiki called her ‘he’ so I thought they were a male ????#unless I’m going crazy again??????#anyway apparently because of art with her fighting one of her band mates people thought that she was aggressive and so the fandom decided to#do fandom things and make that her only personality trait#which. I mean yeah obviously a fandom is going to do that. lmao. have you SEEN fandom culture??#people make shit up all the time- someone was even stupid enough to make a hate post about my bbg from another fandom and blatantly#mischaracterized him so bad that everyone in the notes was saying ‘um. have you played the game. what.’#anyway back to squid kids and band fights#so. I just read a Twitter post that was saying that if you mischaracterise that character as angry and aggressive#you are racist; xenophobic; transphobic; etc. and I’m just sitting here lkke.#I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT SHE WAS A GIRL??#and also THESE ARE FISH!!!!!!!!!! 😭#the fact that there are multiple other dark skinned characters in this game and non of them get portrayed as aggresssive means that this is#just fandom doing its job as the mischaracterizer. like. cmon now dawg 😭#like. in fact. they used another character from a band who is also ‘dark-skinned’ (they are grey. and also the character we were just talkin#about? the trans one? SHES JUST THE COLOR BLACK 😭)#and said no one portrays them as aggressive despite the fish she’s actually based on being aggressive and it’s like#yeah. BECAUSE THERE ISNT ART OF HER FIGHTING HER BANDMEMBERS? 😭😭#god this fandom is. something else.#I’m not even going to get into the fact that this person saw the trans fish from earlier as THE COLOR BLACK and thought ‘yep! she’s black ❤️#and decided to make that EVERYONE’S problem. I’m so dead bro 💀#you just can’t make this shit up 😭#edit: just peeped onto the wiki and yep she is a girl I fuckin hallucinated them being called he. alright .

The Love and Deepspace Boys Trying to Get You to Sleep ⋆。°✩
Tumblr media
Tags: Fluff, teasing, needy boys, mild sexual content, gender neutral reader (I had to re-write so please let me know if I messed up.)
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Xavier is surprisingly softer than you expected when you first met him on your mission together. He’s an incredibly powerful hunter but possesses a quiet and gentle, almost oblivious, aura when navigating everyday life, like a ghost floating through the space he takes up. It should also be understood that this very nature of his makes him affectionate, so much so, that he won’t unwrap his arms around your waist and stop pressing his head to your shoulder as you sit at the kitchen bar, typing on your laptop.
“Are you planning on staying up later than the stars?” he mumbles.
There’s a gentle yawn against your skin from the sluggish man, highlighting just how long he’s been trying to coax you into going to bed.
“I wanted to finish this report for work.”
“The report will be there tomorrow,” he says. You swat away his hand that reaches for the power button on the laptop causing him to pout. He grumbles. “You should go to bed. Otherwise, I can’t sleep.”
Smiling to yourself, you decide to tease him. “Oh, so you’re really trying to get me to go to bed for your own benefit?”
“Well, you can’t very well expect me to do it by myself anymore.” Xavier nuzzles his head into the slope of your neck, cuddling you. “It’s your responsibility since you ruined my sleeping habits.”
“Ruined?”
“Ramshackled,” he repeats quietly, causing you to giggle. With an airy sigh, he presses his weight into you more. “How do you expect me to sleep when I can’t hold you?”
Defeated, you save your work and close the laptop. You swivel in your chair, enough to meet his eye, and cup a hand to his cheek. It never stops being endearing to you how he cutely closes his eyes and angles his head to snuggle your palm.
“Alright, alright, you don’t have to beg.”
His eyes flutter open, and the smile on his face grows as he wraps his fingers around yours. Carefully, he pulls on your hand to bring it up enough to begin to lace your wrist with affectionate kisses, tracing your pulse.
“I thought you enjoyed my begging.”
“That’s different.”
“It isn’t,” Xavier mutters into your skin, pressing another light kiss.
“It is.”
“So, you're resolute about that position?” he questions “innocently”. There’s something mischievous about the glint in those arctic eyes, which makes your face warm. You find yourself breaking eye contact, or else you’d lose it.
“Yes.”
Xavier chuckles then begins to lead his kisses down your arm. “In that case, care to explain the difference in detail, love?”
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
“Sleep.”
“But—”
“Sleep.”
Zayne narrows his eyes at you from his side of the bed. You can’t blame him for being a little annoyed right now but the movie you put on to fall asleep was much better than you expected; and instead of falling asleep, you were more awake than ever at a very late one in the morning.
“I’m almost done with the movie,” you tell him, hoping he’ll cut you a little slack this one time.
“Everyone dies at the end of their own stupidity,” he bluntly states and grabs the remote. The television turns off with an overly loud click, and you pout. “Now, sleep.”
Crossing your arms over your chest, you huff. “You’re the worst.”
“I’m fine with that title if it gets you to rest,” he explains with a smooth yawn. “Poor sleep habits lead to bad decision-making later. You’re more likely to develop high blood pressure, and with your heart in particular—”
“I get it. I get it,” you say, wanting to be spared the lecture. Zayne is a good person and a better doctor, but you wish he didn’t worry about you so much just because you might have a little big heart problem. Sighing, you squiggle onto your back and pull the sheets up to your collar, kicking them a little childishly in the process (totally not to let him know that you were not pleased with his spoiling). “I hope you’re proud of yourself.”
“Very.”
Zayne turns over onto his side, away from you, and you frown at the loneliness. Softly, you poke him in the back, once, then twice then a third time before you finally get a hum in response.
“Am I really not getting a good night kiss?”
“Do you need one to sleep?” he asks, his voice deeper from the lack of sleep, urging you to convince him to kiss you even more.
“Duh,” you explain. Slowly, he turns back over to look at you, propping himself up on one arm with a look that says “Is that so” as you continue to ramble. It makes you a little flustered when he watches you so intently. He’s always had this silent dominance that makes you obedient, but you could get what you want from him just as easily with the exact opposite strategy. Cutely, you puff your bottom lip out at him. “There has to be some health benefit to it. Kissing makes people all happy. Happy is good, right?”
It takes a second for him to take in what you say, those smokey eyes closing in on you with thought before he climbs over you. He places both hands at your sides and quickly boxes in your upper thighs with his knees.
“You’re thinking of dopamine,” he says.
“Huh?”
“That makes you “all happy”,” he explains and presses a deep kiss to your lips, leaving you thoughtless and breathless all at once. He moves to your jaw, and you begin to squirm from the pressure of his impassioned lips.
“And Serotonin.”
Another kiss, lower.
“Oxytocin.”
He’s at your shoulder when he starts to nip your skin, and one of his hands moves to ski up the back of your thigh.
“Reduced cortisol.”
Flustered, you grip his arms.
“Zayne, stop, it tickles,” you whine, but it’s the last thing you actually want as he readjusts his position and hovers above you.
His usually neat hair is messier and his breathing a little heavier judging by how his chest laboriously rises and falls. Groaning, you bite your bottom lip as he knowingly leans in and whispers,
“You need it to help you sleep, isn’t that what you said?”
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
“Why don’t you just say you don’t love me anymore?”
You look up from your phone screen at the sudden accusation. You’re resting on the couch, your back propped up by the armrest and legs splayed out on the other cushion while Rafayel looks down at you with crossed arms and a less-than-pleased scowl on his face. You’re entirely confused as to what you could’ve done to make him think something like that.
“Huh?”
“You’ve been playing video games for what—the last two hours?” he says, uncrossing his arms to grab your phone. It’s too late to warn him as he glances at the screen, clicking a few times. “What are you playing anyway? An…otome? Sheesh, go ahead and say you want me gone. Come on, tell me you actually hate me.”
Holding in your smile, you shake your head and affectionately roll your eyes. It takes an enormous amount of effort to not laugh as he continues to rant. “So, it’s one of those things. I thought I was actually in trouble.”
And by those things, you mean his dramatics.
“Hush, my complaints are perfectly legitimate,” he demands as he pushes your legs aside and sits on the couch. Leaning over, he flashes the screen at you to show the evidence he has that you’re completely unfair, unfaithful, and downright mean. “What’s this game giving you that I’m not? Are my dashing good looks and even better personality not enough? Is that it?”
Gently, you take the phone from his hand and set it down on the end table. “You’re plenty, perfect even.”
He scoffs and refuses to look at you. “Apparently not. Don’t you ever think about anyone else? What if I want to cuddle with you one day but you’re too busy to notice because you’re playing silly games?”
Ah, there it is. His real want. You never know why he can never just come out and say it.
“Rafayel, do you want me to come to bed and cuddle with you?”
“Want is a strong word,” he remarks but you can see his resolve (can you call it that when he planned to give in all along?) crumbling as he slowly turns back to meet your gaze, “but I wouldn’t be opposed to it. Not that you deserve it or care.”
Humming, you sit up, wrap your arms around his shoulders, and pull him down onto you. Lovingly, you snuggle him, stopping to only take in how red his neck and ears start to get when you squeeze him and start to stroke through his hair. You’re not sure if Lumerians can blow happy bubbles like he claims, but he definitely hums and relaxes his entire body weight to lay on top of you like he wants to sink into your skin.
Teasingly, you coo at him. “You’re so needy.”
“I’d rather say you humans aren’t needy enough,” he fires back as he wraps an arm around your waist and kisses the corner of your lips. “Ah, the sweet taste of victory.”
Giving out a gentle and short laugh, you lightly tap his back. “Go to sleep.”

Real Robins Can Fly
( a dc x dp prompt)
As a part of a charity event, Bruce holds a cosplay contest where contestants show off their cosplays, explain their processes and even show off a little if they have a talent of some sort that kind of fits the theme of the character.
Problem? Everyone he invited to be judges at the event are league members and they all had a case suddenly interfere so Bruce and his colleagues can’t show up. So he asks Dick to round up as many of his siblings as he can to be judges for this event. The lineup ends up being Dick, Jason, Tim, Stephanie and Damian. Duke was almost able to make it but he got caught up with work.
Dick was surprised that Damian even wanted to come considering he was drowning himself in studying for his finals. He was about to graduate high school and wanted to make sure his gpa was flawless. Nevertheless, he found a way to drag his youngest brother out of the library and into the judges panel.
The contest was fine. Most people dressed as local vigilantes or villains that were easy to recognize. There were some really good ones. There were a few that none of them recognized. A few only Tim recognized. Apparently they were from animes or something.
The day dragged on and on, all of them having to stop for breaks at different points. Dick needed to get up and walk around because sitting in one place for too long made his joints hurt. Jason had to leave to do breathing exercises when a really accurate second Robin cosplayer came through holding a crowbar of all things. Tim had to leave a few times to make phone calls as co CEO of Wayne Enterprises. Steph called the babysitter (Cass) a few times about her now 2 year old daughter. And Damian used every single one of those breaks to cram in more studying.
What nothing that day could have prepared them for was the last contestant. The 13 year old boy walked onto the stage with a huge smile in a perfect replica of Dick’s very first Robin suit. Down to the last detail everything was correct. Except that… it had been torn up and damaged in places and there were painted on bruises and wounds in the places missing fabric. Part of the mask was ripped off and being held in the boy’s hand. And the face underneath that broken mask looked just like Tim.
Tim: *after recovering faster than everyone else* Wow. What a suit! What’s your name and tell the process of creating your cosplay.
Danny: *smiles* I’m Danny! I’m 13 years old and I wanted to be Robin! Robin is my favorite vigilante because he’s an inspirational figure for younger people. I decided to design my outfit based on the very first Robin in his first ever suit that he was spotted in but I wanted to pay homage to all of the Robins so I changed it up a little bit. I studied the Robins from the past in photos and was able to come up with at least one thing from each.
Steph: I see. Could you show us these homages?
Danny: YES! *his eyes glowed green in excitement, catching Jason and Damian off guard* I designed the suit itself to look like the first Robin as he was the pioneer of the Robin title but I made the entire outfit from materials only used on the current Robin. As you can see the color scheme for the suit is more muted than the original as the current Robin uses shadows and corners more for attacks than the others did.
Damian: *smiles slightly*
Danny: I chose my wounds and distresses in the costume based on photos of the second and third Robins. They took more physical blows than the rest did. *pointing to each wound, pointing to one in the abdomen* This one is just a theory of mine but I think the third Robin might of at one point had a surgery around here from his fighting style. He would protect his abdomen from attack more.
Tim: …… I see.
Danny: And the fourth Robin was a deviation from the pattern because she was a girl that didn’t have the dark hair that all the others had. She wasn’t Robin for very long but her style and decision making were more unpredictable than the rest so if you just give me a second… *fidgets with his gloves for a moment* Whole watching her footage I noticed how her hair was accounted for in her fighting style without it ever getting into her way. *slides off his glove* So on my wrist I have a replica of the headband she used in her suit but smaller so it’s more of a bracelet.
Steph: *noticing how accurate it is* Oh- wow-
Jason: That’s really impressive Danny. Tell us a little bit more about how you actually created the suit. Your process.
Danny: Well the entire thing is made of an armored flex material that I made in my sister’s basement. I studied pictures of all of the Robin suits and noticed parts of the fabric that stood out and made my prototype from there. *smiles* I have a small sample for you guys to pass around! *hands Jason said sample*
Jason: Oh that’s really impressive-
Tim: You said you made it in your sister’s basement? How did your parents feel about it?
Danny: My parents are gone. It’s just me and Jazz. I spent all of my money on the materials to make this. I’m hoping to win because the prize money will be enough for her to buy a car so she can find a new job. And maybe with the rest I’ll finally be able to go to space camp this summer. I’ve always wanted to go! But we could never afford it.
Steph: *covers her gasp softly* Oh-
Damian: Did you have a talent you wanted to show off for us today?
Danny: YES! *pumps his fist excitedly*
Damian: Could you demonstrate that for us please?
Danny: Okay! *climbs up the light tower next to the stage and hangs from the metal bars like a proper gymnast before jumping off, flipping and grabbing frames and pieces of rigging to swing from, replicating old tricks Dick used to do as Robin that he learned in the circus before flipping down and landing nimbly in the center of the stage* Tadah!
Dick: *absolutely shook* Why did you- choose that as your talent?
Danny: Real robins can fly. So why can’t I?
After Danny leaves the stage, it takes a few minutes for them all to collect themselves from that. Especially Dick.
Steph: So that Danny kid is gonna win.
Tim: 100 percent. He was able to recreate the fabric we make our suits out of through pictures!
Jason: We better not tell Bruce or-
Damian: Too late. I already texted father. He’s drafting adoption papers as we speak.
Dick: *who was planning on doing that himself* Dammit!
Damian: I for one, am thrilled at the prospect that this Danny child will take up the Robin mantle when I leave for college.
Steph: Well real robins can fly so why shouldn’t he? *smiles*
Dick: Stephanie I’m literally going to cry.

(poly 141 x reader with non-sexual dom john price bc i am a whore for him)
You’re not reckless; you are calculated.
At least, that’s what you tell yourself when you rush the objective, half expecting to get clipped, half hoping it might happen just hard enough to matter. A sharp enough consequence to justify the chaos rattling in your chest. A hit that would, for once, hurt more physically than mentally.
But it never happens, because you get out.
Again.
And when you stagger into the safehouse, vest half-shredded, blood caking your neck and a quiet look in your eyes that screams what the fuck is wrong with you, it’s not Gaz or Soap who calls you on it. It’s not even your Lieutenant.
It’s the Captain.
Price doesn’t say anything at first. Just stands near the back wall, arms crossed, eyes cold and unreadable under the brim of his cap. Everyone else talks; Ghost grunts, Soap slaps your back, and Gaz offers water.
Price watches.
Watches you. Watches how you brush them off. How your hand trembles when you take the water bottle. How you don’t really hear anything they’re saying.
And when you try to pass him without a word- head down, body bowed, heart dragging low in your chest- that’s when it happens.
And hand shoots out, and thick fingers wrap around the scruff of your collar, yanking you back with practiced ease. You stumble, off-balance, but he barely lets you flinch before he drags you down into the seat between his knees. Scruffed, like a misbehaving mutt.
It’s not gentle. It’s not rough, either. It’s deliberate. Like everything else John Price does.
“Try that again,” he murmurs low against your ear, “and I’ll make sure you don’t so much as breathe without checking in first.”
His hands settle heavy across your shoulders, just there. Like an anchor. Like a silent demand: Stay. Sit. Don’t move. You’re not going anywhere. Like he thinks if he lets go, you might unravel into the smoke of his cigars and drift out the window.
You stare forward, muscles coiled, but not fighting it because even if you wanted to, you can’t bring yourself to do it.
The rest of the room doesn’t react. Gaz’s back is to you, unbothered, watching Soap root through the medkit. Ghost flicks his eyes your way once, gives a small nod to Price, then moves on.
This is normal. Not just that, but also routine.
You are under Price’s hand now, and they all know better than to interfere when he’s decided someone is his problem to handle.
They’ve seen this before.
They’ve been there, in their own ways.
“You think you’re clever,” he says quietly, voice low enough only for you, “Rushing in like that. Like your body’s expendable. Like I wouldn’t notice.”
You say nothing.
“I told you,” he continues, the growl of his voice like a match striking dry wood. “I see you pulling this shit again, I make damn sure you won’t so much as take a piss without me signing off.”
He tightens his grip just enough to remind you: talk.
You want to tell him to fuck off. To let you go. To stop seeing through you like glass held up to sunlight, but you aren’t stupid enough to do that.
“I’m fine.” You mutter.
“Bullshit,” he replies instantly, and you can feel his glare. “You’re bleeding, you’re shaking, and you’ve looked like a ghost since the last op.”
You try to shrug him off, instead, and it is a big mistake.
The arm around you locks, and suddenly your back is pressed tight to his chair. His breath is hot by your ear, the scent of blood and gunpowder and cigars curling around you.
“You wanna play this game?” he snaps. “Where you pretend not to care what happens to you? Fine. But you’ll do it sitting right the fuck here until I’m satisfied you won’t drop dead the moment I blink. You run, and I’ll find you. You disappear, and I’ll tear up every goddamn city from here to the Urals until I get my hands on you again. You hear me?”
You clench your jaw. Try to keep it together. The ache behind your eyes threatens to spill over.
“I don’t need to,” he murmurs back. “I just need to keep you breathing.”
There’s silence for a while, after that. Your mouth feels stitched shut, and you feel no particular rush to tear it open and let your words spill out. Eventually, your shoulders drop. Your head tilts, ever so slightly, against his knee. The tension bleeds out of you slow, like sap from a broken tree.
Price doesn’t move, and doesn’t say anything more. He simply keeps you there, solid against him, and the others still don’t say anything.
they’re used to how he gets when someone forgets their worth.

mdni! can’t stop thinkin ab how pervy bob is
bob was such an obvious man—it didn’t take much for you to catch onto his feelings. you noticed the flush that would creep up his cheeks whenever you spoke to him, the way he nervously twisted his fingers around his sleeve a little more than usual, or how his words would falter slightly when you looked up at him through your lashes—all on purpose, just to get a reaction.
he was probably trying his best to hide it, but hell, every single member of the team could see right through him. yelena would pull you aside after one of those interactions—the ones that left him stumbling over his words—just to tease you.
"god, he’s so obvious. even i’m embarrassed for him," she’d say, always with a smirk stretched across her face.
to which you’d reply with something like, "no, stop it. it’s cute—he’s trying."
your only problem was he never actually said anything. bob was always the kind of person to put everyone else’s feelings before his own, so you figured he was pushing his feelings down, too afraid of making you uncomfortable.
if only he knew you felt the exact opposite of uncomfortable.
eventually, you realised you’d have to push him, gently nudge him into showing you just how much he needed you. so you started slow—well, your idea of slow.
you suggested the two of you watch a movie in your room. he’d flushed red and tried—and failed— not to sound too eager when he agreed. so you had told him to come into your room later that day, and you'd be there waiting for him.
so there he was, outside your room, hesitating to knock before he tapped the door three times. when you didn't return an answer, he called out your name in hopes of then getting a response.
when you didn't reply again, he began to weigh his options; he could go looking for you around the watchtower or wait in your room. his usual response to situations like these was to go looking for you, not wanting to intrude on your space. but in a moment of pure impulse, he opened the door, small enough to poke his head in.
he could hear the shower running in your en-suite and decided then to wait in the common area until he noticed something—you'd left the door slightly ajar. so, there he stood, staring at the gap in the door as he imagined what you look like in there. how silky your skin looked as it was being enveloped by the droplets coming from the shower head. how your back arched slightly to rinse the shampoo out of your hair. how your tits looked as they were dripping with soap suds.
he didn't even realise he was walking towards the door until he could see through the gap. the room was engulfed in steam, but he could still make you out. through the glass of the shower door, he could make out your naked frame. how you did, in fact, arch your back ever so slightly to rinse out your shampoo or when you ran your hands down your figure to rinse off the soap.
he could feel how painfully hard he was behind his sweatpants— god, he felt like a teenage boy. beginning to palm himself all because he saw a pair of tits, thinking you were none the wiser.
of course, you knew he's there— you could just manage to see his hand gripping his cock above the unfortunate barrier of clothing through your peripheral. you were going to leave it like that, act oblivious to his presence and continue on with your shower when an idea popped into your head.
you leaned against one of the tiled walls and brought your hand down your body, brushing against one of your perky nipples as it continued down your body until it reached its destination. you swiped your hand through your folds and began toying with your clit, a small gasp escaping your mouth at the jolt of pleasure.
and bob— oh my god, bob thought his heart had stopped. he watched as your hand slithered down to your pussy, and he had to bring his other hand to his mouth to muffle the groan that escaped him. his hand moved more aggressively against his cock when you slipped your fingers in, and a whimper escaped your mouth.
you milked the sounds at first— going slightly overboard just to get a reaction out of him. but at one point, the act had dropped, and the melodies that left you were raw and downright pornographic. you brought the other hand up to one of your nipples, toying with it as you did your clit earlier, and bob was convinced he was going to cum right there and then.
he stood in the gap, face flushed, hand covering his mouth as a plethora of groans and whimpers left him. his hand had now moved into his sweatpants as he palmed himself through his boxers, hoping to get more friction. he stared at where your hand met your pussy, how your fingers so effortlessly pumped in and out of you, pretending they were his instead.
"g— fuck— gon' cum," he stutters out to no one in particular (okay, maybe you), voice muffled.
you were still watching him in your peripheral, and oh, how beautiful he looked. his eyes were closed, curls clung to his forehead, and his face was contorted— a clear indicator he was close. and so were you.
your crude moans increased in pitch as the familiar knot snapped within you. you had closed your eyes when you came, your head knocking back against the shower wall as the peak of pleasure washed over you. your fingers continued pumping, but slower, to help you ride out your high.
what you didn’t realise was that the moment bob saw you unravel, his own release followed almost instantly. the sight was nothing short of divine—your brows drawn tight, lips parted as soft, desperate whines spilled out, your back arching to meet your fingers. to him, it was transcendental. in that moment, he was certain he’d seen god—and he would’ve worshipped you like one.
as he came down from his high, he quickly realised the situation he was in. he was standing in your room, hand down his pants that now had a very obvious wet patch on them, watching you finger yourself.
he was absolutely mortified. but for some reason, he couldn't find it within himself to move.

“Hello?”
You’re very familiar with the caller on the other end of the line. He calls you once a week—every Friday, after his shift at the bougie restaurant he works at, 11:30PM on the dot.
He must be very attractive, or at least that’s what you’ve garnered over talking to him for many months.
At first, he was evidently too shy to make use of your more… explicit services. This is a phone sex hotline, after all.
He honestly sounded like he just needed someone to vent to. So, you listened, as was your job. After the first few months, you both got more accustomed to one another. His shyness melted away. He got friendlier.
It’s been six or seven months since he first called. You’ve become very fond of him, but you have no idea what he looks like. So, one day, you decide to ask.
“Your voice is so sexy,” you start, giving him a line that you gave everyone, except this time you mean it. “I can’t help but wonder what you look like, Sanji.”
With other callers, you’d have to check what their name is before you say it. But you’re far past that point with him, and every time you say his name it makes his heart flutter.
“Well,” he says. “I’m blonde. And my eyebrows have a little… curl to them. I’m a decent height and I have a bit of a goatee.”
“And what color are your eyes?” You ask, trying to get the full picture.
He notes that question. It’s a thoughtful one. You’re thoughtful, in general. He knows that you are just being nice to him because, well, it’s your job, but also… he can’t shake the feeling that you have a soft spot for him. Do you talk to everyone like this?
“My eyes? Hmm. It depends on who you ask. I don’t know, really. Some people say they’re black, other people say grey, I’ve had a few tell me they’re blue. I’m not sure.”
You hum in response. There’s a beat of silence.
“What sort of eyes do you like?” He asks. He’s cheeky like that. You have the feeling that he has a real soft spot for you, too. Why else would he call you every week? There are plenty of others he could call. But he just sticks with you every time.
You respond. “It depends on who you ask. But historically I have liked guys with black, grey, or blue eyes. Do you happen to know anyone who fits the bill?”
He can tell that you’re smiling. He finds himself blushing, getting giddy for a few moments before he realizes that oh, right, you are at work, and oh, right, he is paying you to talk to him, like the loser he is.
His voice falters a bit the next time he speaks, a couple of seconds later. You know the exact thought that just went through his head. It’s something you are well aware of but… it does make you a bit sad with him. You like him far too much for your own good.
You wonder if you would like the look of him in real life, painfully single as you are. You wonder if he would like the look of you.
You might have a teeny tiny crush on this guy you’ve never met. Teeny tiny is a massive understatement. Just because he’s so consistent—you’ve never met a man as consistent as him—and so kind, and such a gentleman, even on the phone.
But tonight, the call ends earlier than usual. It seems that your open flirtation was a bit too genuine for him. Hit a bit too close to home. He finishes the conversation and dodges your attempt to take it farther.
“Thank you as always, beautiful. It’s a pleasure to talk to you. See you next week.” The phone hangs up abruptly. He’s gone now.
He always calls you beautiful, like everyone else does, but… it just means something coming from him. Maybe because he’s the only caller who has ever wanted to truly know something about you. And every time he hangs up, he says ‘see you next week,’ even though you never see each other. It’s cute.
You find yourself wishing he was still on the line. You’re a bit bummed that he hung up this early, not because you’re going to be left wanting for money (he always overpays), but because you always look forward to talking to him.
When you take the next caller, you’re quickly reminded that Sanji is by far the youngest and kindest of anyone who has ever called you.
---
“Hello?”
He’s on the line again. It’s Friday again, 11:30PM sharp.
You respond, tone warmer than it needs to be, given that you’re speaking to a client. “Hi.”
You’re glad to talk to him. Very realistically, this is the only interesting thing you have to look forward to—it’s not like you can afford to go out and party on the weekends. Or any day, for that matter. He’s your Friday night date every week. That doesn’t escape him.
“How was your week?” He asks, like he always does. He’s the only client who has ever asked you that.
You respond as frankly as you can without overstepping. “Hmmm. It was alright. Pretty boring, in general. It could have been better. How was your week?”
He pauses for a moment. “It was pretty good.”
“Tell me about it.” You prompt, and he begins detailing his week for you, as is your routine.
The things you know about this man’s life are random and vast, among them, you know that he lives in the city next to yours, he eats oats every morning for breakfast, and that he chain smokes as often as he can get away with (which is almost 24/7). You’ve been privy to him trying to cut back on his nicotine intake more than a few times, and he has never forgotten that you cheer him on every time he tries.
Among other things, this week he had to go to work on his usual day off (Wednesday) because the sous-chef called out (again). You can hear him roll his eyes when he says that. You roll them too, even though he can’t see.
He vents about that, and you hear him out.
“The sous-chef sounds like a real asshole,” you say. “Always has. Didn’t he call out a couple weeks ago?”
He laughs out loud at your honesty. “I fucking know, right? And yes, he did. It’s ridiculous.” Then his heart skips a beat. You really do pay attention to what he says.
“They don’t appreciate you as much as they should, Sanji. I bet I could talk some sense into them.” You say, and you both chuckle for a moment.
“What else happened this week?” You follow up, genuinely wanting to know. This man fascinates you. With how charming and sweet he is, it’s a wonder to you that he’s single. Also, the life he lives is quaint. He is a man of routine, a hard worker, and he’s driven. He has a strong and warm personality.
When he replies to your question, you can’t quite make out the tone of his voice—is that reluctance? Hesitation? Shyness? Or awkwardness? It’s hard to tell.
He responds to your question. “Well… I went on a date last night.”
Before you can wonder why, your heart starts to sink. Fuck. You really do have a crush on this guy, don’t you?
You regrettably (internally) acknowledge your disappointment. You do have a massive crush on this guy. And he’s your client. So, get a grip.
Your acting skills have to be excellent for this job. You make good use of them now. “Oh, a date?” You emanate the pinnacle of excitement for him. “How was it?”
This has happened maybe half a dozen times before. The dates always go well but the follow through rate is bad. Obviously. Or else he wouldn’t be here. But every time it has happened, your heart always sinks. Not a fun feeling.
“It went really, really well.” Sanji’s voice is happy. “Might have been the best date I’ve ever been on.” You know he’s smiling right now. Positively beaming. Your heart breaks a bit before you reprimand yourself. You have no right to like this man the way that you do.
He probably wouldn’t touch you with a ten-foot-pole if he met you in real life (you tell yourself this, and you know it is a lie, but you try to say it to make yourself get a grip… needless to say, this strategy doesn’t work.)
“How was she?” You ask because you know he wants to talk about it.
“She was thoughtful, kind, and considerate. Very sweet. Kind of like you, actually.” He says, not realizing how much those words make your smile fall. “One of the cooks set us up. Like a blind date. I had no idea what to expect but she was gorgeous. Wow. So funny, too.”
His voice trails off. It’s your turn to talk.
“Awh, Sanji, I’m so glad. You deserve some attention.” Your voice is sugar coated like usual and his heart patters.
The conversation wanders into various topics. The woman he went on a date with is a veterinarian. That sours your mood. She must be real swell. Caring for sick animals and all that stuff. Ugh. The whole topic is forcing you to accept the fact that you like this guy wayyyy more than you should. You have no business having this intense of a crush on him, having this intense of a crush on a man who is, ostensibly, and for all intents and purposes, using you as his rent-a-girlfriend.
The pair of you then talk about relationships—has he ever been in one? (Yes, ages ago.) What is his love language? (Physical touch and acts of service.) What’s his type? (Essentially, you.) You ask him questions and he asks you them back. It’s a nice conversation, an intimate one, one that would have you feeling better if not for the fact that he just happened to have an amazing date.
After a while, the conversation dwindles. You know that he’s in the mood to do what this whole thing is really about—phone sex. When Sanji is in a really good mood or a really bad mood, he takes advantage of your expertise in this area. Tonight is the former.
“Is there anything else on your mind, handsome?” You ask, gauging what he’s up to tonight.
“Mmmm, there is. What are you wearing, gorgeous?”
You smile. He’s cute. Usually, you lie when men ask you this question. But with Sanji you tend to be a bit more truthful. Maybe it’s the fact that you feel like he’s going to get taken off the market soon and never call you again one day, or maybe it’s something else, but you’re getting the urge to be more candid and flirtier with him than you’ve ever been before. Real flirty, not work flirty. You’re getting the urge to step out of whatever character you put on when you pick up the phone.
“Do you want the regular client answer, or the Sanji answer?” You say, bold and not giving a fuck. Why not? He can have the real answer, hell, he can have some realness because you’ve talked for so long, and because you like him so much. Like you said, he deserves some attention.
“Oh. How about both?” He’s tickled and intrigued. “I’m flattered that I have my own option.”
“You always do. Well, the regular client answer would be that I’m wearing a babydoll slip dress made of black mesh… with a black lace thong and thigh-high black stockings. Do you like that?” Your voice starts to transform; it starts to drip pure lust, candied in honey and flattery. It’s a well-trained skill. Sanji gets hard almost immediately, tenting his pants and widening his thighs.
“I like it very much.” His voice is getting huskier, thicker. You love it when he sounds like that. His voice really is sexy. He continues. “Now, tell me the Sanji answer.”
“It isn’t nearly as glamorous. Do you still want to know?”
He nods, but it’s not like you can see him. “Of course.”
“I’m wearing a black tank top and blue plaid sweatpants. No bra, but I actually am wearing a black lace thong.” You laugh. “Very sexy, right?”
His voice comes out raspier this time. “It is, though. I much prefer the Sanji answer.”
“You’re sweet.” You say, and he can tell you mean it. “Now, what are you wearing?”
Sanji blushes and his erection strains against the fabric of his boxers. “Do you want the regular client answer, or the You answer?”
You laugh again. “How about both?”
“Well,” he continues. “The regular client answer is that I’m in black slacks and a white button down. A few buttons are undone and my sleeves are rolled up to my forearms. I’m wearing black loafers and black socks. Now, the You answer isn’t nearly as glamorous. Do you still want to know?”
“Mhm.”
“I don’t have a shirt on and I am coincidentally wearing blue plaid sweatpants as well. Can you believe that?”
“No way. Really?”
“Yep.”
“Anything underneath?” Your voice is coy and his erection pulses.
“Yep. I have boxers on. Boring black ones.”
“And what’s going on underneath of those?”
He dryly chuckles and reaches down to rub his hard on for a second. “A lot.”
“Just what I wanted to hear.” You practically purr and he runs his palm over his bulge in response.
He lets out a soft groan that make you feel some sort of way. “Oh yeah? Y’know, even though I don’t really know what you look like, I just know that you’re looking sexy in your pajama outfit right now.”
Your witty reply is stopped short. He’s the only one who is this real with you. Most of the men on the other line tend to be creepy, old, and just downright weird. This is a dying profession, after all. Sometimes the other clients are rude and dismissive, too. But Sanji… you know he really means what he says.
“You’re adorable, Sanji,” you say. “I’d venture a guess that you look pretty good right now, too.”
“Mmmm.” He hums, heartbeat rising as he continues to palm himself. “I wish I could see you right now.”
You can’t tell if this is part of the fantasy. You really did wish you could see him, though.
“What would you do to me…” your voice is smooth as silk. “If I peeled off my tanktop and shimmied out of my sweatpants?”
Sanji’s breath hitches. Something feels realer than usual about this—knowing what you’re wearing right now, what you’re really wearing, is turning him on beyond belief (assuming that you’re telling the truth, but he always chooses to believe that you are).
“If I was there, I’d kiss you, actually.”
His answer catches you off guard. You’re not sure he’s said something like this before.
There is silence for a second. You don’t know how to respond, really. You decide to just respond honestly, without appearances. Fuck it. He’d probably be off the market soon if his amazing date was anything to tell for it, so might as well.
“Wow, that’s really sweet. I’m not sure anyone has said something that nice to me in years.”
He tuts. “That’s my lowest bar of sweetness. I can go much sweeter than that, my love.”
He’s never called you that before, either. You’re starting to forget that this is a work call. It feels distinctly different than one.
“I’d like to see how sweet you can get, Sanji.”
His cock twitches again. Fuck. You really have a way with words. You get him more riled up than anyone he’s ever met before.
You continue. “After you kiss me, what would you do to me?”
“I would kiss every inch of you.”
Your heart melts. Fuck. Is this guy a saint? Where does he get off being so suave?
“Mmmm. That sounds nice. I’d like to return the favor.” Your tone, to Sanji, is effortlessly erotic. The thought of you kissing every inch of him—yes, even those inches—has him grinding the palm of his hand over his cock.
“Sounds even better. Then, if you let me, I’d go down on you.” The blonde is starting to get worked up. You can tell from his voice—when it gets all husky like this, you know he’s about to start touching himself, if he isn’t already.
Also, the fact that he said ‘if you let me’ really struck you. No one had ever said that before in your line of work. He has the tendency to say things you’ve never heard before, and he always surprises you.
“Of course I’d let you go down on me,” your voice gets softer. “What exactly would you do?” You wonder if he’d be any good. Maybe his answer will be elucidative.
“I’d start by kissing up your thighs, one at a time. Then I’d very slowly, very gently kiss your clit. Hopefully it would feel good. After a while, I think I’d be able to tell if you liked it. I’d run my tongue downwards and taste you. And tease you as much as you’re willing to put up with.”
“Mmmm. I think I could put up with a lot.” You let out a breathy sigh. You’re starting to warm up between the legs. With that voice, and those words, and that mental image… it sounds divine. You’re about to let yourself get carried away. It’s tempting.
“Is that so?” Sanji decides to keep going with the fantasy as long as you’d let him. Frequently, this happens the other way around. You usually describe to him, in great detail, what you would do to him. Apparently tonight it would be the other way around.
“In that case,” Sanji continues, “I’d take my time with you. I’d push my tongue inside of you delicately at first, then harder, and switch between that and licking your clit.”
You can feel that you’re getting wet. It has only ever been with Sanji that you’ve actually gotten aroused while talking to a client. Usually, you’re as dry as the Sahara when talking to clients. But this man does things to you. Sinful things.
“What else?” You ask, biting your lip and sneaking your hand lower. You decide that, just this once, it’s okay to get carried away.
He can hear it in your voice. The synthetic, sugary (but still very much erotic) tone is dissipating and he’s hearing, for the first time, your voice bathed in genuine arousal. Your breaths are quicker than usual, your tone is less composed, and he can tell that you’re hanging onto his every word.
At the same time that his hand goes under the waistband of his boxers, yours goes under your underwear. He starts to stroke himself, relishing the first ripples of pleasure from his hand, and you do something similar. Each movement of your fingers is accompanied by his voice, by some filthy image he puts in your head.
“When you’re moaning loud enough, I’d press my middle finger into you slowly, to make sure you’re comfortable. After a moment, I’d move my finger and caress you inside a bit, and if it seemed like you liked it, I would press my ring finger into you.”
You start to mimic what Sanji is describing. It feels dangerously good. A barely audible sort of gasping sound falls out of your lips and Sanji hears it. His fist goes faster. He hasn’t ever heard you make that sort of noise before—he’s heard fake moans, sure, they were still hot (and he always told himself they were real). Anything you did was hot. But this sort of noise was the sort that could only be caused by one thing—pleasure.
Sanji’s fist goes a bit faster when he concludes that you may be touching yourself. The idea makes him feel like he’s on fire.
“I’d curl my fingers inside of you and find your g-spot… draw circles around it and press it while I place some kisses on your clit. Would you like that?”
His question catches you off guard—you’re getting lost in the act of fingering yourself.
“Mmmm. I would like that, Sanji.”
“How would I know that you liked it?”
“I’d, fuck,” another soft moan slips out of your lips and Sanji squeezes his cock tighter. “I’d run my fingers through your hair and pull you closer. Buck my hips into your tongue so you, ah, get deeper.”
“What would you say?” His voice is low now, and you can hear a faint sound in the background. He’s fisting his cock to your conversation, which is nothing new, but it brings you more of a rush than usual right now because you’re touching yourself too. “What would you say if you liked how I ate you out?”
“Don’t stop,” you shudder, and it sounds like it would if he was actually eating you out. The noise makes his heart flip. He can hear wet sounds from your end of the phone, too. He can hardly believe his ears, but sure enough, he can make out the noises of you bringing your fingers in and out of yourself.
“I wouldn’t,” Sanji says and then groans. The obscene noise goes straight to your aching core. You’re going to orgasm soon. “I wouldn’t stop until you came all over my face and I licked you clean.”
“Fuck,” you mewl. “That sounds, ah, sounds like it would feel good, Sanji.”
“Does it feel good?” He counters, twisting his hand over the head of his cock. His fist brings down the precum that has been beading at his tip, and the sensation makes his hips rock up inadvertently.
“Mmmmphhh, I—yes, it feels good, Sanji. Feels so good.”
You curl your fingers inside, searching for the spot that Sanji mentioned before. You press on it as you speak. You know he’s going to love the noise you make.
He grunts and throws his head back. He’s going to cum soon. He’s going to cum if you say his name some more. He wants it. “Say that again.”
“Fucckkk, Sanji. Feels so good.”
“I love hearing you say my name. I’m—hah—‘m gonna cum if you do it again.”
“Sanji. Sanji. Sanji, fuck, Saannnjjjiii.” On repeat, you moan his name through your orgasm, which you finally allow to wash over you. He can hear it in your voice, can hear you trying to force his name out of your mouth between keens.
Your voice has never sounded so good. He’s sure now, sure sure, that you’ve been touching yourself this whole time and that you just came. It’s a first for him. He’s suspected your arousal at other times, but this time, it’s a confirmed fact. In an instant, the fantasy fades and he can see the moment for what it is—you’ve thrown away the pretenses, acting skills, and flattery, and, for a handful of minutes, you’ve been 100% yourself with him, more so than ever before.
That’s what makes him cum. Your unreserved sincerity and desire. It’s the hardest he’s cum in a long time—and that’s a high bar, considering the fact that any time he broaches these activities with you he cums hard.
When you’re both panting in the euphoric aftershocks of your orgasms, Sanji whistles. “Damn.”
You hum in agreement. “Wow.”
He cracks a joke. “So, am I supposed to send you an invoice after this one?”
He’s hilarious in general, and this one makes you laugh. “I might allow it.” Your tone is uncharacteristically bashful. You’re about to say something you’ll later regret. “I think you’re the only person who has ever gotten me off over the phone.”
Sanji is taken aback for a second. “Really? I’m honored. And surprised.”
You almost instantly wish you didn't overshare, chuckling awkwardly before you realize that this is a work call, and you should act accordingly. But it’s hard to pull yourself out of the intimacy of this moment and you don’t want to. So… against your better judgment, you don’t.
“I’m impressed, Sanji. Maybe we should do this more often,” you say, and Sanji’s heart thumps again. “You don’t have to only call me once a week, you know.”
“As long as you won’t get sick of me, I would love to. And we can do this again any time, gorgeous. It’s seriously my pleasure. You don’t know what you do to me, it’s only fair that I return the favor.”
While he’s saying the last part, Sanji realizes that this isn’t a favor, really. He tries to brush off that sad feeling for a moment but finds himself wondering what you really think of him.
It’s time for him to go to sleep, he concludes. He’s exhausted after a long shift and a hard orgasm.
“So, same time next week?” His voice is chipper.
“Mhm. I look forward to it, Sanji. See you later.” When the words leave your mouth, you wonder if he feels butterflies, too.
“See you later, sweetheart.”
Sanji hangs up the phone.
In your respective bedrooms, you’re both wondering what the fuck just happened. This call was full of lots of firsts and, little do you two know, the other feels elated.
But Sanji thinks about it more. He weighs his feelings for you against the practical understanding that he is, presumably, nothing more than a client to you. His heart aches at the thought.
And then he looks at his phone. The person who he went on a date with texted him while he was on the phone with you—she’s asking for another date. She says she looks forward to seeing him.
---
A week passes.
It’s Friday again.
11:30PM comes and goes. No call from Sanji.
In a span of over six months, this is the first time he hasn’t called you.
As you sit and wait for him, passing off other phone calls in case he decides he wants to speak to you tonight, your heart starts to sink.
Was last time a mistake?
Ten minutes go by.
Twenty minutes go by.
Many minutes go by. The time is now 12:30AM.
You’re left to conclude that last time was, indeed, a mistake.
You decide to take the night off. Your tears are making it hard to get any work done. You can’t put on that sultry voice and moan at old men in your current state.
There’s no denying it—his absence hurts you. Bad. Especially after last week. Especially after you admitted to him that you had never orgasmed over the phone before, and that you wanted to talk to him more often.
Why hadn’t he called you?
You wrack your brain for possibilities, but one major thing stands out. That date he went on. Maybe he went on another one and decided he liked them better.
Liked them better? You ask yourself after realizing what you just thought. He’s paying you to talk to him on the phone. Get over it. He isn’t going to keep calling you forever. What did you expect after last week? That he would just confess his love, offer to pay all of your bills, and that would be it?
You frown harder, hurting yourself deeper with your own rhetoric. The tears won’t stop.
It’s excruciating to realize that you like Sanji this much. You really like him. You know almost everything there is to know about him, too. And as much as you generally try to avoid giving out personal information, he knows a large chunk about you. Maybe that’s why it hurts so bad.
No, you tell yourself. Don’t kid yourself. You know it hurts this bad because you were hoping he liked you for real. You were hoping that this man, who you had never truly met before, who you had never seen, would, against all odds, decide that he wants you, even if he hadn’t seen you.
Fat chance, you tell yourself. Never do that with a client again, and this will never be a problem again.
---
Sanji does not call you back the next week.
Or the next week.
Or the week after that.
Or the month after that.
You are over it by the time the second month rolls around.
It’s pretty good timing, on your behalf. You think you’re really over this huge crush on a man you’ve never seen before. By the fifth month, you’re still telling yourself that you’re over this “crush”.
But that’s a delusion—any time you’re in public and there’s a blonde man, you find yourself scanning his face. Does he have a goatee? Could those eyebrows be considered curly? What color are those eyes?
When you see one that you think might be him, you always work up the courage to speak to them. But it never is Sanji. You would recognize that voice anywhere.
You wonder what you will say to him if he ever calls you again. Or if you see him in person. You decide that if he ever calls you again, you’ll either curse him out or break into tears.
In your most down-bad-hour, you contemplate showing up at the restaurant he is the chef at. You contemplate asking if you can see the kitchen. You just want a glance at him. A glance will keep your heart quiet.
But the joke’s on you—his restaurant is too expensive for you. Truly. You couldn’t afford a drink there if you tried. Okay, maybe just one. But you refuse to stoop to that level of desperation.
You’re a call away from him. He just has to dial your number.
You, on the other hand, have no way of calling or texting him. The service you work through scrambles client numbers before they’re patched through to you. The only way you know it’s Sanji is when he calls, at 11:30PM on the dot, on Friday nights. That’s Sanji time.
But it seems like Sanji time has come and gone.
You can’t shake the feeling that he did you dirty—but then you remember that he doesn’t owe you anything. This is your line of work. Phone sex. And that’s what you had. You just stepped over a boundary that you usually stay far away from. Whose fault is that?
No amount of logic can shake that feeling, though. You develop a little grudge against this man who you will never meet.
That’s what you tell yourself—that you’ll never meet him. But there’s a nugget of hope inside that, someday, he’ll call you. Someday he’ll kiss you. You try to obliterate that nugget though, as it is antithetical to the remedy to your lovesickness that you’re seeking.
Which will come first, him calling you, or you quitting this job that you’ve been meaning to quit for months at this point?
You hate to admit this to yourself, but he’s the only thing that was keeping the thoughts of quitting at bay. Maybe you really will quit this time around.
---
It is a Saturday night and you’re working again. It’s an unfortunately slow night, which sucks, because you really could use the money.
You’re scrolling on your phone, waiting for the next call to come in. It has been three hours with no calls. Guess all the creepy old men have plans tonight, which is such a shame because you need to pay rent soon. Sigh.
Time passes. You check the clock. It’s almost 11:30PM. The time doesn’t remind you of him anymore (well, much).
Maybe if you channel some of your good karma, ask the universe to cut a check of it right now, someone will call you for one long, lengthy conversation. You can help get them off as many times as they want. Five times in a row. You’ll break that record and go for six times if they just pay you. No questions asked.
Sure enough, a call comes through. You check the clock again. It’s been moving at a snail’s pace tonight. It’s 11:35PM. Hopefully whoever this is feels like talking.
“Hello?”
Your heart stops.
It sounds like Sanji for a second. But there’s no way. It’s been five fucking months.
“Hi.” You respond in your sugared up, sultry voice.
“It’s been a long time, gorgeous.”
It is Sanji.
Your heart flutters and your stomach flips. You’re speechless.
Don’t forget your game plans: curse him out or cry. But you can’t bring yourself to do either now that he’s waiting on the other line. You’re about to hang up the phone. You owe this man nothing and he owes you nothing—it’s that simple.
As you go to press the end call button, he speaks again.
“I’m sorry.”
The tears start now. The dam inside of you breaks. Hot tears pour out of your eyes and down your cheeks.
You didn’t think that hearing his voice would have this strong of an effect on you. But the heartbreak that you once thought faded away is now back in full force.
He’s waiting for a response before he hears shuddering breaths from you as you cry. Your tears are all the confirmation he needs—he knows that he was right months ago when he worked up the courage to confess to you. He should have done it. He knows that he was wrong to take the coward’s way out. And he knows he was wrong to tell himself that you didn’t care about him and wouldn’t care when he disappeared, because he was just a client to you. He was so terribly wrong. The sound of your sobs shatters him.
“I should have called you before. I’m so sorry. And maybe you hate me for waiting this long to call you again. I understand if you do. I just couldn’t keep it inside anymore, I—”
“Where the fuck were you?” You cut him off. Your anger is starting to seep through the tears. Maybe the first game plan can still happen. “I waited for you, Sanji.”
He doesn’t even try to think of a comeback or excuse. He tells you plainly what happened and, even though it breaks your heart some more, it makes sense.
“Well… I finally found someone. Last time, after I hung up, I had another date with that person I mentioned, and it went really well. So, we just kept going on dates. It didn’t feel right to keep calling you when things with her were progressing so quickly. We got together, and—”
“I understand, Sanji. That’s all I wanted to hear. Thanks.”
You slam your finger down on the hang up button. Your heart is broken enough as it is. He can keep all that yapping to himself. Good for nothing heartbreaker.
So what, he was with whoever that was. So what, they love each other and have been together almost half a year at this point. So what, he was just a client the whole time and you had gotten your hopes up for nothing and—your catastrophizing is stopped in its tracks when your phone starts to buzz again. You feel like it’s Sanji.
You pick up the phone. It is.
“Wait, wait, don’t hang up, please let me finish, please.”
“What, so you can tell me how much you love your girlfriend? I get it, Sanji. You paid me to talk to you for so long that of course you got sick of it and finally got what you had been after the whole time, a loving, very real partner. I understand that I’m just a service to be used and discarded later. That’s fine. Goodbye.”
“No. Listen to me.” Sanji’s voice is stern and harsh, a tone you’ve never heard from him before. “We got together and then she very quickly dumped me. Do you know what she kept saying to me? She said I was too absentminded. She thought I was thinking about someone else. Dumped me after two months because I couldn’t give her what she wanted. Absentminded.”
His words hang in the air for a few moments while you try to process why the fuck he’s explaining any of this to you and why it matters. He continues. His voice is emphatic, hurried, and nervous sounding.
“And if I’m being honest, I was absentminded. I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I know this sounds fucking ridiculous because we’ve never met, and I understand if you tell me to go fuck off because I’m sure this happens to you all the time, but… I can’t get you out of my head. I’ve tried to for months. Three months. I told myself that I was an idiot for falling for someone out of my league. And the crazy thing is, I don’t even have to see you to know you’re out of my league. The way you act is out of my league. YOU are out of my league. You’re thoughtful, and kind, and considerate, and you pause before you respond whenever you talk because I can tell you’re really thinking over your response. And you’re funny. And witty, and charming, and you never once made me feel weird or less than for calling and finding solace in you. I’ve been lonely for years. I make the first move all the time, but it never works out. And I know I fucked this one up, and I know I didn’t have a chance in hell with you to begin with, but I just, fuck, I had to get this off my chest. I love you. I fell for you the first conversation we had. Now please tell me to fuck off.”
You can tell that every word he is saying is sincere and earnest. You can hear the emotion in his voice. While you wipe your tears dry and mend your heart together, you take deep breaths. He can wait for your response. Like he just said, you’re intentional about your responses to people. Every word matters. Especially with Sanji.
“Do you know how bad it hurt after our last conversation to not hear from you again?” You start.
He winces. He knew that was coming.
“I’m so so sorry. I’m so sorry. It was disrespectful of me, and callous, and if you hang up and never want to speak to me again, I understand and I deserve it.”
“You do deserve it.” You say, regaining some composure. “You really do, Sanji.”
“I’m sorry.” You can hear his frown. It’s a cute one. Fuck. His cute words are playing back in your ears too. So, he loves you?
Should you tell him how you feel? How you’ve felt for a long time?
One part of you is screaming at you to get a grip. But the other part—all the other parts—are finally, finally hearing what you’ve been wanting to hear for around a year at this point. That he likes you for you. That he sees you as you, and not some dolled up object of affection that’s only there to get people off and talk dirty to them. It has never been like that between you.
“If I accept your apology, Sanji, what then?”
“I—I actually didn’t think I would make it this far. But if you accept my apology, my next step is to ask you out to dinner with me. And to ask for your phone number. Your real phone number.”
You let out a long, deep sigh. “Sanji. My love. You could have told me these things months ago. It would have saved both of us so much heartbreak. I was devastated. Do you know that?”
You know that he already profusely apologized but you feel like driving it home a bit more. He deserves it. But while you talk, his hopes start to rise. You’ve never called him ‘my love’ before. Maybe that bodes well?
“I’m so sorry. I really am.” He sounds like he means it. You trust him enough to know that he does. Well, fuck it.
“Don’t think I’ll just forget about this because I’m head over heels for you, okay?”
“You—what?” He’s caught off guard. “You are?”
“Sanji. Yes. And you could have found out ages ago. Now, when are we going to dinner? You can apologize to me again then, too. And even if you don’t like what you see, you have to pay for everything. I’m getting an appetizer, an entrée, a dessert, at least two drinks, and whatever else I want. Okay?”
He laughs in relief. “Yes, okay. Yes. Holy shit, I didn’t think you would say that. I wish I could kiss you.”
“Wait—one last thing. If you decide you don’t like me after our date, Sanji, you have to tell me there on the spot. You can’t leave me waiting for another five months. You just can’t.”
“I promise, I won’t leave you waiting. I promise.”
When you hang up the phone a few minutes later (after more twisting the knife), you’re so thrilled that you can hardly breathe.
You can’t believe this is real life. You also can’t believe how quickly you just forgot your dignity, but you’ll unpack that later.
Dinner is set for tomorrow night. 7:30PM on the dot. Sanji is calling out of work, and he’s taking you to the (second) nicest restaurant in town (his is the first, obviously, and he wants to save that for a night where he can really plan ahead and spoil you).
---
When you get to the restaurant, Sanji is already there, waiting outside with a large bouquet of flowers.
He’s more handsome than you could have imagined. Of course he is. You do have great intuition, and you knew from the start that he was sexy. But… goddamn, he is sexy.
It makes sense now what he meant by curly eyebrows. He’s dressed well, too. He’s wearing black slacks and a white button down. A few buttons are undone, and his sleeves are rolled up to his forearms. He has black loafers and black socks. And he smells good. And he smiles good.
He’s so nervous he could puke. He hopes that when he sees you the nerves will melt. But they get 20x worse because he’s enamored with you. You’re beyond his wildest dreams—no number of fantasies could have led him to guess that you look like this.
He’s so obsessed that he starts to stammer before you tell him to calm down, and that he’s making you nervous.
Over dinner, you catch up on everything you’ve missed in the past few months of silence. You fill him in on details in your life that you previously kept to yourself, and he sees a whole new side of you.
At the end of the date, he tells you that he still loves you, that he loves you even more now, and that he’s so so sorry. He says that he’s mesmerized by you, that you’re more than he could have ever dreamed of, and that you can count on him for anything.
You seal the night with a kiss. A long one. It’s so romantic that you feel a bit disturbed with how happy you are after.
And it turns out that yes, this is your big happy ending. You make a perfect pair.

Epilogue: The day that Sanji finally shows off the techniques he told you about long ago, you’re more than satisfied. In fact, it seems like he was actually underselling himself there. You always knew he was the modest type.

Aaron Hotchner x BAU!Reader
Summary: Reader gets jealous when some women start hitting on Aaron at the bar on their team night out
CW: drunk!Hotch, jealous!Reader, mentions of an unsub and murder, drinking, confessions, makeout, Hotch being handsy, kinda needy!Hotch?
a/n: I’m literally obsessed with Aaron Hotchner rn
title track 🎶🥂
~~~
“No— I can’t,” you opposed as your coworkers decided to order another round of shots. Cheeks glowing as the alcohol seeped into you. Smiling as Derek put his arm around you and J.J. reached across the table to encourage you.
It was a Thursday night. You all had just gotten back from a week long endeavor in Utah. Local killer had his sight on some local young women. Killing them in some ritual style way that the drinks helped you fuzz the memory of. Luckily after you had addressed the public, he grew sloppy and was easily caught.
And now, back in your home state, you all crowded into a local bar to relax. And when the BAU “relaxed” it usually involved some heavy drinking.
“Shots! Shots! Sh-Shots!” Penelope and Emily chanted to the tune of the Lil Jon song. You laughed, a subtle snort escaping you. Rossi came back with the tray, beginning to pass them out to everyone.
Aaron Hotchner hovered behind him. Already having downed three glasses of scotch and beaming with alcohol on his face. It was a rare occasion that Hotch got drunk. Usually he just sipped at one drink while everyone else got themselves into trouble. But tonight he decided to let loose. Taking two glasses off the tray and squeezing in next to you in the already tight booth. Sitting them down in front of the two of you. Hooded eyes squinted upward in a closed-mouth smile as his eyebrows raised at you.
And you felt your face completely flush. Since your time at the BAU, you had developed a crush on your superior. Even if it was inappropriate and the age gap was a bit large, you still harbored feelings for him. And moments like this did not help.
Completely engulfed by the aroma of his cologne. Trying not to make it obvious you were smelling him. Hotch wrapped his arm around you absentmindedly. Leaning in and holding one of the glasses up to you. “Are you gonna do a shot with me?” His slightly slurred words melted against your skin. His voice somehow deeper and sultrier than ever. Everyone else was too distracted by the giggling of drunken excitement for more drinks to notice what was happening. It was like you two were alone for a moment.
You smiled, nodding slowly as he passed you the shot in his hand. Picking up the other and wrapping his arm around yours. Intertwined so that your hands were back against your own mouths. You were beyond flustered with the contact he was making with you. Hotch began counting down, both of you throwing the alcohol back on three.
Sucking your teeth as it burned down your throat. Hotch blew his breath out. You watched as his nose scrunched up at the taste. Shaking off the strong taste as Hotch leaned in against you. His head bumping against yours for a moment. Lips pressing against your ear in his drunk state.
“Want me to go get us som’more drinks? You like something more fruity, right?” Hotch suggested, deep voice ringing in your ear. The feeling of his lips grazing your skin had you sweating.
“Only if you’re buying,” you pulled at his tie softly. Causing his eyes to lock into yours, corner of his mouth curving up. His eyes scanned your figure momentarily before getting up and strutting over to the bar.
“Oh. My. God.” J.J.’s voice pulled you back from your staring problem you had with Hotch. You whipped your neck to face her, adjusting your posture in the seat. Shaking your head slightly, “What?”
“What was that about?” J.J. grinned brightly, eyes bouncing from Hotch to you.
“We were just doing some shots together,” you felt your face heating up again. Tongue coming out to wet your lips as your mouth ran dry.
“The only other instances of Hotch getting that close to any of us was when we were hurt,” Spencer chimed in with his analytical sounding tone. Still as smart as ever even while drunk.
“Oh God, you guys,” you shook your head and scooted out of the booth. Stretching your legs for the first time tonight. Hands resting on the table as you got closer to the opposing side. Being eye-to-eye with J.J. and Spencer, “You guys know he acts different when he’s relaxed. It’s nothing.”
Spencer and J.J. exchanged a look of uncertainty. Neither of them believing what you had just said. Rolling your eyes at their smirking expressions. Catching on easily to the feelings you had for your boss.
Downside of having friends who are profilers.
“Drop it,” you pointed at them with two fingers. Your friends began snickering and laughing. You could not help but smile back at them. Laughter was contagious when you were intoxicated. You turned to meet your crush at the bar.
You froze.
Some woman was cuddled up with Hotch at the bar. Breasts peaking out of the top of her thin shirt, curled hair falling below her shoulders, and a beautiful face of makeup. Your heart sank down to your ankles. Watching as her hand trailed his chest. Watching how her perfectly glossed lips popped as she spoke to him inaudibly.
Worst of all: his smile.
SSA Hotchner tended to be gruff and stern. Brooding and unreadable. Purely business around you and the other members of the BAU. Stoic and distant. Something you all agreed was so he did not get overly attached, just in case something happened to one of you. Rarely smiling other than seeing his sweet son, Jack.
Guess tonight was different.
Rosey cheeks and perfect teeth painted his expression. Eyes locked in on the woman before him. Your hands began shaking at your sides. If it was not a cartoon cliche, you would have had smoke coming out of your ears. Teeth grinding together behind tightly pierced lips.
Rethinking any hints he may have given you. Feeling like you had fooled yourself into a crush. Angry that some random bitch woman was getting too friendly with Hotch.
Unable to take it anymore. Jealousy brewing inside you, ready to overflow. You marched up to the bar, immediately pulling Hotch’s attention from the woman.
“Sorry to interrupt—“
“Hi, Y/N,” Hotch smiled at you. Causing butterflies to flutter in your intestines. Especially with the casualty of your first name.
God, he was drunk.
“SSA Y/L/N,” you extended your hand out to the woman, lip twitching when she shined her perfect smile. Flaring your nostrils and locking your jaw when your hand met hers.
“Hi! I’m Hope,” her peppy attitude made you sick to your stomach. Trying your best to fake your expression. Anger causing a slight shake to your demeanor.
“Right…” you trailed off, looking at Hotch whose eyes had not left you yet, “Hotch—“
“C’mon, Y/N. You can call me Aaron here,” he leaned in and whispered to you. Chills ran down your entire body when the heat from his lips radiated against your skin. Swallowing the lump in your throat.
Oh, he was REALLY drunk.
“Aaron,” you started, watching him smile at you saying his first name, “Did you get my drink?”
Hotch’s hand came up cupping his cheek as his eyes squinted, “Oh my God. That’s why I came up here. I totally forgot—“
“Don’t worry about it, Hotch,” your frustration took over your attitude. Fists clinching at your sides. Feeling tears beginning to burn behind your eyes. Deciding to storm off without the drink. Heading towards the long corridor to the bathrooms.
“Y/N—“ Hotch reached out to you with a confusion behind his tone. Not caring enough to listen to whatever excuse his drunken self was gonna give you. Trying your best not to make a scene so none of your coworkers would notice and come after you. Really just needing to be alone.
You leaned against the cold wall, hands holding onto each of your arms. Head resting against the brick of the dimly lit hallway. Fighting your eyes that begged to leak with your feelings. And you felt stupid. Did you really think your own boss would be interested in you? Enough to not get distracted by the beautiful woman at the bar? Please.
Feeling suddenly sober at the heartbreak in your chest. Hands coming up to cover your redening face. Embarrassed that you had even toyed with the notion. Knowing it was completely against protocol to fraternize with coworkers. Let alone with your superior—
“Y/N?” Hotch’s somber voice broke you away from the thoughts filling your mind.
You blinked your eyes open. Manually breathing as your shoulders rose and fell. Controlling the water that begged to pour from your eyes. Clicking your tongue as you spoke, “Hotch.”
“I told you, you could call me Aaron here,” he leaned against the wall beside you. Arms folded over his broad chest. Pondering the informality before looking back to him.
“I thought you saved that for pretty girls at the bar,” you half-heartedly smiled. Flaring your nostrils as you contorted your face to hide your frown.
Hotch laughed, bearing that smile that had you seeing stars. Eyes closing for a moment, giving you the opportunity to linger in it. Enjoying him being this casual with you.
“Is that not what you are?” Hotch asked.
You whipped your head to look at him again. Brows furrowed tightly together as your mouth hung open in confusion. “What?”
Hotch rose a brow, “Are you not a pretty girl? At the bar with me right now?”
You blinked as you stammered, “I— Not like… I mean— not like that girl at the bar…” You trailed off completely dumbfounded by his statement. Hotch watched you with a smile. His own cheeks still red.
“You think I’m pretty?” You finally formed a cohesive sentence unable to stop your mouth from curving into a smile.
“Doesn’t everyone?” Hotch’s hooded eyes stared into yours. Taken aback by that. Questioning for a moment if he was mocking you. Realizing by his expression he was not.
“You’re drunk, Hotch—“
“Aaron,” he corrected, “And, yeah I am drunk. But just drunk enough to finally be honest with you about that.” Hotch’s tongue darted out of his mouth to wet his lip. Hand coming up and rubbing his neck at his confession.
“You didn’t have to come back here just to try and make me feel better. You were having a good chat with that woman at the bar. She was so beautiful, and made you smile, and not a part of the BAU, and—“ you covered your mouth getting embarrassed and shameful.
Hotch’s hand caressed your cheek. Pulling you back to him. His brows laid flat against his eyes. Lips pressed firmly together, watching his throat bob with the swallow he took. Thumb rubbing circles into your warm cheek, swiping away the singular line of tears that streamed down.
“I’m sorry— it’s the alcohol, that’s why I’m crying—“
Hotch cut you off by pressing a passionate kiss to your lips. Your eyes flew open. Hand gently resting against his chest as you savored the feeling of his lips on yours. Feeling your breath hitch in your throat and heart swell.
“You taste so sweet,” Hotch groaned, both hands gripping your face now. The primal noises he made causing arousal to swirl around your belly. Feeling its residue stick to your panties. His lips trailed down your jaw to your neck. Nipping against your soft skin as his hands roamed down the backside of your body. Gasping when his large hands groped your ass.
“I get chit-chatty when I’m drunk. That girl at the bar didn’t matter at all,” Hotch promised against your skin with kisses breaking up his sentences.
“You won’t even remember this in the morning,” you giggled when he took your earlobe between his teeth. Feeling a somberness sinking into your gut.
“How could I forgot this?” Hotch breathed into your ear. Sounding like he was desperate and almost completely out of breath, “Forget about you?”
Hotch pulled back to look into your eyes. Really taking in your face before him. Your eyes kept darting between his and his lips. Smiling when you could still taste him on your lips.
You pressed up on your toes, lips meeting his again. Tongues exploring each other’s mouths. Sloppily intertwining together. Huffs and grunts coming from Hotch as he pulled your front flush against his. You blushed at the feeling of his bulge.
“What about the team?” You questioned as the weight of the situation became suddenly apparent.
“I don’t care about them right now,” Hotch pressed his lips back to yours. Kissing away any fear or dread that was in your mind. Completely consuming you. Smiling as you both allowed hands to roam the other’s body.
You broke the kiss momentarily, “So— wait— you mean Rossi thinks I’m pretty too?” You teased him, grinning from ear to ear.
“Watch it,” Hotch smiled with a playful aggression on his tone, capturing you back in a kiss. Laughing together as you pressed lips together.
Logan moving in with Wade and gaining weight because not only is he eating three square meals a day, but he also picked up baking because both Al and Wade have a sweet tooth, and of course the sweets are there, he’s going to eat them too. But now he’s getting kind of chubby. Which isn’t a problem really. He looks healthier than he has in decades. Except…
Wade stopped flirting with him. Straight up just stopped. And yeah Logan’s been ignoring it right along because he knows Wade isn’t actually serious about it, but it was still kind of nice to be wanted. Especially since he came from a reality where he was literally the most hated man alive. And of course now he has actual feelings for Wade, he wants the option to be there.
So he decides to not only start going to the gym but also to stop eating. And of course Wade notices and has to sit him down and ask what’s up, he’s been super healthy lately why is he changing that
And Logan can’t admit why he’s doing it so he deflects. “So going to the gym isn’t healthy?”
“You practically live there now. You’re a certified gym rat. You’re overworked and underfed. THAT isn’t healthy.”
And they go back and forth until Logan finally admits it’s because he gained weight and doesn’t feel attractive anymore. “Hell, you don’t even flirt with me anymore and I’ve seen you hit on inanimate objects before.”
And Wade stares at him for like 10 full seconds before he busts out laughing, like genuinely knee slapping chuckle fest because, “You think I stopped flirting with you because I’m shallow??? You honestly think I look like a burn victims even uglier ball sack and I’m being picky with how someone else looks?”
Logan tries to shrug it off with a “Everyone has preferences.”
“Trust me, Peanut, it isn’t that.”
“So then what is it?”
And now it’s Wade’s turn to be defensive until he realizes their conversation is just going in circles and Logan won’t stop destroying his body until he comes clean. So he has to stare at the wall as he tells Logan that it isn’t that he’s not attracted to Logan’s body anymore, it’s that he’s hyper attracted to it now, that he looks so healthy, so well fed, so inadvertently loved, and that it’s a reminder of all the domesticity of their situation that he’s actually fallen in love and can’t trust himself to casually flirt with Logan anymore because he’s genuinely afraid he’s going to do something and ruin their friendship now.
And they make out sloppy style and confess their love to each other of course
Danny is sixteen. He just found out he is to become King, with a capital K, when he becomes a mature ghost, which is at least 20 years after his death. So he’s got time. Everything’s fine. Except for the Observants pushing his education. Tutors shoving information down his throat like he’s cramming for finals. Princess Dora, Pandora, Frostbite, and even Clockwork checking on him frequently and making a schedule for him to come visit their territories for little learning sessions. Fright Knight has been following his every move. And let’s not forget the other random ghosts he’s never even met before coming to ask for favors or to complain or just give him their problems in general and expect him to fix it.
He can’t even let his frustrations out! All his regular rogues avoid him now! Even Vlad doesn’t want to get involved, but that could be because he’s still bitter about not getting the crown like he wanted.
Good thing he knows a king that has probably been through the same thing.
King Arthur of Atlantis. In other words, Aquaman.
Because Danny wasn’t technically king yet, crowned prince is probably the right title?, he couldn’t just call him up or send a letter asking to meet. So Danny decides to go give the man a visit himself.
Using process of elimination, he was able to find Atlantis after about two months of research and searching. He didn’t have a whole lot of free time, okay?
Turning invisible and flying through the water was a lot easier than he thought. Getting through the barrier was a piece of cake and the castle was obvious to find. What wasn’t obvious to find was the king himself. He wasn’t in the throne room, or his study, or the training grounds, or literally anywhere in the castle. He checked.
No. He finds the king playing some game with some kids in the underwater city.
It was surprising to find him there, especially after the etiquette lessons from Dora, but it gave Danny some hope that maybe he wouldn’t be miserable and burdened with paperwork and boring meetings when he becomes king.
Danny turns visible. They were still invested in the game but the guards noticed him. Spears were pointed at him in a second.
“Halt! State your business,” the guard demands.
The shout caused everyone in the area to stop and look, including the king.
Danny raises his hands in surrender.
“Uh, hi. Sorry to stop the game, I just wanted to talk- sorry, speak to King Arthur, if- if that’s okay? There wasn’t an address to mail to that I could find-“
“It’s okay,” the king interrupts. “Let’s go somewhere private to talk then. Do you have any weapons on you?”
Danny perks up at the opportunity to finally talk to him.
“Yes please! And no, no weapons, sir.”
“I’ll take your word for it,” the king replies with a smile. Danny smiles back widely.
“My king-“
The king holds up a hand to stop the guard’s worries.
When they finally arrive to the throne room of the palace King Arthur turns to Danny.
“Who are you?” He asks in a tone that was a bit more serious than it was before.
“Oh! Sorry. Hi. I’m Danny. Danny Phantom. It’s nice to meet you, King Arthur,” he answers quickly with a nervous smile.
The king nods, obviously thinking about something else as he watches Danny with guarded eyes.
“How can you breathe underwater if I may ask? I’m curious.”
“Well that’s easy, I’m not breathing.”
“You’re… not breathing,” the king repeats with skepticism.
“Yea,” Danny agrees freely. “I don’t have to breathe if I don’t want to. You know, because of the whole ghost thing.”
“Ghost?”
“Yea. Can turn invisible, walk through walls, fly- you know. Haven’t you ever seen a ghost before?”
Danny tries a bit of humor with a crooked smile, but it falls when he sees the contemplative expression on the king’s face.
“Wait, seriously? You’ve never seen a ghost?”
“I’m aware of a ghost named Deadman apart of Justice League Dark but he is invisible to everyone.”
“Really?! I didn’t know that! I need to go talk to him! Where can I find him?”
“Hold on there, guppy. Didn’t you want to talk about something?”
Danny is drawn back to the topic at hand.
“Right, okay, so I was recently told I was gonna be king in like twenty years, which is news to me, and now they are just throwing everything at me with all this information I don’t know what to do with and I’m getting complaints and requests and everyone is expecting so much from me when I’m literally sixteen years old! I don’t know what I’m doing with my life, whether I want to go to college or if I’ll even graduate high school, and they want me to solve territory disputes and create new laws and provide protection for those who want to go into the living plane. I just- I don’t know what I’m doing and the only king I could think of was you, so I guess I was wondering if you could, I don’t know, give me some advice or if I could shadow you for a bit to see what an actual king should do or act. I know it’s a lot to ask coming from someone you don’t even know, but I’m just a bit overwhelmed with everything and I don’t really know where to go from here and was hoping you would at least understand. My friends don’t get it and the other ghosts are kinda afraid of me now because of my title and they wouldn’t get it anyway…” he trails off awkwardly.
Arthur had never had this conversation before. He was honestly flattered and the kid looked genuine. Maybe he’d wait until one of the magic users okay-ed the young ‘ghost’ before revealing any information about himself.
He pulls out a device and throws it the kid. Danny dodges just to snatch it out of the air from reflex alone.
“That’s a communicator. I’ll send Deadman and Constantine your way and call when I get the okay. Where are you located?”
Danny’s toxic eyes were big and hopeful, shining brightly through the water.
“Thank you, sir! Amity Park, Illinois, the most haunted city in America!” He answers proudly.
The king just smiles.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
I noticed I’ve been getting some questions over and over again so I decided to make this. If I missed one let me know, I’ll edit it in.
Q: What are you going to do with this blog when their term ends?
A: I’m going to leave this blog up as a monument to the worst, longest, dumbest four years in history.
Q: Will you change the profile picture of this blog to be happier as the count reaches zero?
A: Yes, I look forward to leaving this blog with a smile on her face :)
Q: Why do you use they/them as pronouns for them? Why not just say their name?
A: Because they’ve expressed that they “don’t do pronouns”, and additionally, the executive order they gave that makes everyone in the States their “gender at conception” technically makes all citizens agender, and thus they/them pronouns are what I default to.
I don’t and will not say their name because every time their name gets said out loud they have a shattering orgasm and I refuse to contribute to that on principle.
If you have anything else you want to say about this, please visit this post:
Q: Why can’t I send an anonymous ask?
A: Because I turned off that option. The reason I did that is because people are a lot more comfortable being shitty and non-genuine anonymously, so everyone has to attach their name to their words.
Q: You do realize all this shit won’t just stop at the end of the count, right?
A: Yes, that’s right. But this blog isn’t counting down the days until every sociopolitical problem faced by every individual in this country is solved forever. It’s counting down the days until they, constitutionally, legally, HAVE to leave office, no matter how hard they resist going. If this blog gives even one person the motivation not to kill themselves, this blog has done its job.
Q: I missed the daycount post and now it’s buried under other long important posts. Will you help me?
A: Absolutely I will- if you send me an ask that just says “how much time” or anything to that effect, I will respond with the current daycount and maybe some encouragement.
Q: Why do you send wikipedia articles as a source?
A: Because in spite of what you’ve been told in high school, wikipedia is one of the best sources of information in existence. Take a moment to donate to them if you can.
Q: What if they get impeached/die/leave office some other way before the count hits zero?
A: Then the countdown continues as normal. They are not god, they are not king. Life continues on without them, and so does the countdown.
Q: You’re wasting your time, they’ve decided they’re staying for a third term, didn’t you see they’re selling 2028 hats?!
A: No I did not, because I don’t troll around on their website and I would advise you don’t either. Their shopping website is not a news website. The constitution does not change based on what hats they sell.
Q: But for real, what if they do get a third term?
A: They won’t. You know that. Next question, please.
Q: What if tumblr tries to demand you take this blog down?
A: Tumblr’s censorship extends to trans people and women’s bodies, we’ve seen first hand they will not give a shit about this.
Q: What if someone just as bad as them gets elected next?
A: The likelihood of that happening is exceedingly slim- in the words of Seth Meyers, “only they can pull off being them.”
Q: What if we never get to vote again?
A: Alright, everyone, you’re starting to catastrophize. Just- take a deep breath. It’s gonna be okay.
It’s gonna be okay.
hello !! I have a request for Mystery Saja (if that’s okay). I was thinking that when the Saja boys first came to the human world, Mystery would be the one having the hardest time. All of the lights and loud noises prolly getting to the poor fella. And the other Saja boys try to help but it’s really no use.
Until the bright happy-go-lucky sunshine reader comes around and helps Mystery out.(Yk how Myst barked at that fan at the signing ? Yeah that wasn’t the first or the last time he barked at a person he just doesn’t know what else to do) The reader is kind of oblivious but just super nice and empathetic. Mystery needs so love hardcore </3 I can just imagine the rest of the Saja boys I’m shocked that some human girl tamed the beast into some house let
(this request is optional ofc take care !!!)
New Soul—
1.5k words; Mystery Saja x reader Masterlist | Requests open!
It's hard for Mystery to handle being in the daylight again when he's spent so much time accepting the dark. Lucky for him, some merciful being gave him you.
A/N: Thank you so much for requesting, anon! Okay so I tried my best with this but I struggled a little after I got through the first half. Still, I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading!
Tumblr media
. . .
Honestly, earth was more hell than the underworld was.
That was something it didn’t take long for Mystery to decide when he and the Saja Boys first surfaced. It was night time. Okay, that was fine. The sky was cloudy, the coolness of the air was foreign to him.
But the light. How could humans enjoy the obnoxious LEDs decorating store fronts? It hurt his eyes, and he immediately tried to avert them. The only problem? Seoul was full of them.
Which is how he ended up with Jinu’s pink-tinted sunglasses, staring dead at the side-walk, being guided down the street by the other Saja Boys.
They honestly didn’t know what to do. They were just as new as he was, but . . . they didn’t suffer from it the way Mystery did. They tried to help as best as they could, taking quieter paths as Jinu navigated to their dorms, though there was only so much they could do. They didn’t have the proper resources to handle it, but they tried their best.
Mystery couldn’t wait to go to sleep.
Except that was the LAST thing he should have wished for. Because now he had to deal with the sunlight, and he couldn’t tell which was worse; the harsh lights of nighttime Seoul or the colors that came with daylight. He couldn’t even stare at the sidewalk, because the reflection of the sunlight upon it made him flinch.
Already starting off, it was a no good, very bad day.
Then he lost the other Saja Boys in the crowd. Too much was going on. They were supposed to be performing Soda Pop today.
What immaculate timing.
As Mystery attempted to remember the directions Jinu was giving, more and more things started to phase him.
The sun is bright. People are everywhere, people are talking. He can’t make out what anyone is saying. A car honks as it turns the corner he was about to reach. There’s a bell on the door of the shop next to him. It’s playing some horrific, beat up jingle. Footsteps. He stops, because he can’t think.
Mystery can’t recognize his surroundings. All the palettes were oversaturated and it made his brain throb. This is purgatory. He’s sorry for what he did to deserve this. He could smell too many different scents at a time. Gimbap. Some woman’s artificially sugary perfume. The stench of a teenage boy who hadn’t discovered deodorant yet. Dizzying. Nauseating.
The last straw was some rando pushing him out of the way.
“Hey! Weirdo, this is the sidewalk. Get stepping or move!”
Mystery snapped.
It was the only thing he could do.
“RARGH ARGH ARGRR—” He barked, his nose scrunching up as he faced the rude individual. Molars gnashing, muscles tight, nails digging into his palms. Everyone in the immediate vicinity stopped.
To stare at him.
“What is he doing?”
“Did . . . did he just bark?”
“What the hell are they putting in the water these days . . .”
“He needs help.”
At least they weren’t in his personal space anymore.
Mystery slinked into the shadows of a nearby alley, dropping to the ground once he was out of view. He took a long, slow breath as his head lolled to the side, trying to adjust his hair to hide the sunlight again.
It’s too much.
He feels the energy shift around him slightly, and he tenses up. Slowly, his head raises from his knees to find more color.
Not bright, eye-catching, abundant color; soft. Effective. Something more tolerable than that tacky sherbet ensemble he saw a moment ago.
Your smile was just as kind to him as your dress. Gentle, welcoming, unaware of the horrors in the world, or rather immune to it. You crouched in front of him, observing him for a moment.
“Hey . . .” you whispered, and Mystery easily decided he liked your voice. It was . . . soothing. You could tell he was a bit overstimulated. “Are you okay?”
Mystery blinked, even if you couldn’t see his eyes. You took off your headphones, offering them to him.
He hesitated, taking the device from you and mimicking the position over his ears. The world seemed to shift back into a manageable focus, and he perked up a little. Your smile brightened, and you stuck your hand out to him.
“That’s better, right? Noise-cancelling headphones. The environment can be a bit much for me, too. My name is (Y/N). What’s yours?”
(Y/N) . . . you certainly had a lot to say. Mystery’s fingers slowly brushed your palm, not in a handshake, just a touch. Your skin was tender, warm. “Mystery.”
“Mystery? That’s cool, I haven’t heard that one before! I like your tattoos,” she pointed at the lightning-like markings on his wrist, and he tensed.
You didn’t seem to notice.
“. . . Thank you.”
“Well, Mystery, I had some shopping to do in the square, if you want to come along.”
So Mystery found himself following you down the street, hand-in-hand, a skip in your step.
You were so . . . happy. Not in a bad way, just in a way he wasn’t used to. Finally, there was something he wanted to get used to.
Before you could get to the square, you came across the other Sajas. They were asking around for Mystery like they had lost their dog (they had), describing his appearance to strangers before Baby wordlessly pointed him out.
He’s oddly chill for the way they saw him last. They eyed you suspiciously, gazes dropping to your entwined hands. You did not have a care in the world.
Mystery knew he had to go. He tried to offer your headphones back, and you only shook your head, pulling out a pair of earbuds. “You need them more than me. I always carry an extra pair just in case.”
Instead, you offered him a blue post-it with about ten digits on it, give or take. “Bye, Mystery!” And then you were gone.
The boys blinked owlishly, Romance in particular disbelief.
“. . . What did I miss?”
»                                                      ⊱◈⊰
Ever since then, you have always been found at Mystery’s side. It was a mutual latch; you taught him about lots of things—food, stories, why things existed, methods and resources to try to help with the noise of the environment—and he listened.
You were the only sunshine he could really tolerate.
Slowly, he came to terms with the surface again. But he didn’t let go of you. He liked having you around for every moment, even the short, quiet ones. Not because he needed you anymore, but because he wanted you. Wanted your smiles and your time, wanted those gentle hands of yours and the way you’d run them through his hair to calm him or trace the patterns on his arms.
You didn’t question him, not the way others did. You let him exist. Didn’t blink twice when the light warped around his skin, or the strange shape of his nails when they grew a little. Not the way his teeth might poke out a bit, or his slightly distorted reflection in the mirror.
He wasn’t even sure if you saw these things. It only made him like you more.
It was another day at the Saja dorms, and Mystery was lying on your lap as you explained the plot to some show. He was listening, he really was, but the feeling of your fingers against his scalp . . .
His eyes drooped a little, and he couldn’t help but melt into you more. You giggled, finding the behavior cute in his own Mystery way.
“You know, if I didn’t know any better, I’d think you’re part dog,” you decided, poking his cheek softly. Mystery hummed.
“You don’t know any better,” he muttered, a little smile forming. To be fair, he was right. You didn’t know that, though.
Instead, you grinned, going back to yapping about your show.
And Mystery was content with this for a while—simple touches, the fabric of your shirt against his nose. Your voice.
Until Romance and Abby walked through the door, drowning out your words with their chatter and laughter. They hadn’t even noticed you both on the couch, too busy musing about some flash mob they had dealt with. Then Baby was looking for a snack, rustling through loud bags of chips and watching some video, Mystery’s peace was disrupted once more.
He felt a tick in his head. The air around him sparked a little.
But before he could let out more than a sharp snarl (drawing the attention of the others), your hand pressed against his lips gently as you hushed him.
“. . . Mystery, you can’t hiss at people,” you shook your head matter-of-factly. “It’s not nice.”
Much to the boys’ surprise, Mystery . . . stopped?
He huffed, sinking further into your lap with a pout. “That’s the point.”
You pushed your fingers back into his hair to try and cheer him up, leaning back into the couch. “There’s better ways to express your feelings, though.”
Mystery said nothing, curling into you more.
The other Sajas blanked.
He was listening??
 “I guess it has to be the right extrovert to adopt an introvert,” Abby whispered loudly, glancing at Romance. Baby shrugged.
“That’s his handler.”
“Is he . . . purring?”
“Shh. Just leave it alone.”
Mystery nuzzled into the warmth of your palm, letting out a sigh of relief.
Finally. Back to his peace.
»                                                      ⊱◈⊰
𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓻 𝓫𝓮𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓬𝓸𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓰𝓮...
You’re not even supposed to be doing anything today. Just a quick walk over to check on Topper’s wife’s cat while they’re out of town, maybe water a plant or two. Nothing major.
The cat’s forty years old in human years… A man, mean, moody with everyone but you. Sounds familiar?
A bag? You squint to get a better view in the mid-morning sun. The sight of it’s clearly out of place compared to the grandeur of the Thorntons’ mini-mansion.
You’re halfway up the front steps before you’ve even decided to be nosy but it’s too late. You peek inside the bag and your stomach falls.
Pregnancy tests and a crumpled receipt; Gatorade, tanning lotion, a box of condoms, and Zyn. All paid for using Max’s emergency credit card.
You don’t even remember grabbing the bag—your body just reacts, ripping it off the doorknob. Your heart’s pounding, jaw tight, and suddenly you’re back in your car, tires squealing as you peel out of the Thorntons’ driveway like a bat out of hell.
You’re flying down the little stretch of road that connects your two houses, doing 80 on instinct, running on adrenaline and disbelief.
He can’t be serious. He can’t be this cold. Not him. Not the boy you raised. Not after all the speeches, all the promises to be smart and use protection. He’s going to a D1 school. A full ride on a football scholarship. He’s got everything lined up.
And now this?
But it’s so, so much more than that. It’s the thought that he could just leave the bag and drop his problems at her doorstep. No accountability. No regard for the fact that she’s probably scared shitless and now he’s shifting all the responsibility to her.
You pull into the driveway with a hard brake; bag still clutched in your hand like evidence. And there he is—Max. Cool as ever, walking out toward Tripp’s Jeep, tossing his keys lazily.
“Hell no,” you snap, voice sharp enough to cut glass.
Tripp freezes mid-step.
“Tripp, home. Now.” He doesn’t ask questions; just slips in his SUV and fires it up. Max pokes his head around the door and sees your face; sees the bag and immediately b-lines for the house.
You storm inside, following close behind him letting the door slam hard enough that the hallway picture frames rattle.
Rafe’s in the kitchen halfway through making himself a sandwich. He doesn’t say a word. Just looks up, startled, eyes wide as he sees the storm in yours.
He knows you. Knows your silence is louder than anything else.
“Baby, what happened?” He asks, but you’re already moving—already crossing the room. You push the CVS bag hard against Max’s chest, voice shaking with anger. “You have to be fucking kidding me, Max.”
His mouth opens but nothing comes out. Max looks at the bag then over to his dad. He lifts his hands and runs it through his hair, lashes fluttering, clearly flustered in the moment.
“It’s… I just. Mom, c’mon,” he breathes.
“Baby, what’s going on?” Rafe asks calmly, trying to talk you off the ledge.
“I’m sorry, alright?” Max mumbles, his lips trembling; barely opening. The same look in his face he’s always had when he’s gotten caught doing some shit he shouldn’t. “She’s a few days late. Or—or some shit. I don’t fuckin’ know. The condom broke.”
Rafe drops his head between his shoulders, breathing a deep, ragged breath. He nods a few times, jaw ticking as he tries his best not to spin out.
“She doesn’t get home until this afternoon, I know that. I’m sure you know that, Max.” Your voice cracks.
“I do…”
“She told you she wasn’t even home, Max. And you couldn’t wait? You just left it on her porch?”
Max flinches like the words hit him. “What was I supposed to do, mom? It’s not like I meant for this to happen.”
You pinch your lips together, nodding as you take in his explanation but your heart hurts. You lift your hands, covering your eyes, taking a deep breath. “This is so disappointing, Max,” your voice comes out small and softer than you hoped .
Something flashes in his eyes—hurt, mostly. He’s still holding the bag like a damn shield.
“How could you do that to her? Just leave it there like that? I’m sure she told you she was worried. I’m sure she told you that she’s scared—”
“You’re my mom,” he mutters, tight and hurt. “Aren’t you supposed to be on my side?”
“Yeah,” you say, steady but sharp, “I am your mom. But I’m a woman first.”
He scuffs his boat shoe into the marble floor, biting at the skin on his thumb.
“Where is she right now?” Rafe asks, stepping out of his chair, walking toward the two of you.
Max exhales hard through his nose. “Don’t know. She’s gonna be home tonight.”
Your emotions come fast: anger, disbelief, and something you didn’t expect when you ripped the bag off the Thornton’s door—guilt.
This feels familiar… too familiar.
You know that ache and fear better than anyone. And as much as you feel betrayed, you’re breaking inside.
You look back at Rafe, sharing a wordless conversation with the man who knows you better than anyone else. There’s so much you want to say—but nothing Max needs to hear right now. The words would come out too sharp, too heated… and Rafe sees that.
Rafe rests his hand on your back as he tilts close, pressing a kiss to your temple.
“Breathe, baby. I got him,” he assures you.
Then he steps away, pulling Max in, leading him toward the door with a heavy hand on his shoulder and a calm, “C’mon, bud. Let’s go for a drive.”
ᯓ★ 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓷𝓮𝔁𝓽 𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰...
You walk slowly up the drive to the Thorntons’ house the next morning, keys loose in your hand, Rafe’s words from last night still sitting with you.
“He needed to feel that guilt from you first—he needed to see it for what it was. But he also needed to hear the rest of it from me. Not because you couldn’t say it, but because it hits different coming from me. I’ve been where he’s standing… Sure, I handled it better. Doesn’t mean I didn’t make my own mistakes...”
Max stayed long enough to say he was sorry—Hung back long enough to leave the right way.
And this time when you walk up the steps your heart doesn’t race, it softens.
Sitting on her porch is a small vase of flower tied with a ribbon and tucked between is a note for Coco.
✉️ I’m really sorry for being an asshole. —Max
You sigh, a soft chuckle slipping out. The gesture has Rafe written all over it, signed with Max’s name… and you know what that means.
He learned something.
And you know, deep down, you got lucky.
Weak Hero Boys x P!Reader Headcanons
Tumblr media
Weak Hero Class boys x pregnant!reader (fluff)
Includes: Geum Seongjae,Na Baekjin, Ahn Suho, Yeon Si-eun, Kang Woo-young, Oh Beom-seok, Go Hyuntak, Park Humin (Baku)
Note: This was an anon request! AND GOD, I swear writing — let alone reading — stuff like this makes me feel all kinds of weird. And I wrote each character at a different time of day so they wouldn’t all feel the same. Hope I pulled it off.
Geum Seongjae
1. The Moment He Finds Out:
Silence. He just stares. Then his lip twitches.
The second you tell him you’re pregnant, Seongjae goes quiet for a few seconds. He looks unbothered on the outside, but you know a thousand things are racing through his head. In that moment, his whole “world” shifts.
“I knew no one else could ever give me something like this.”
He says it softly, but something breaks in his eyes — like the idea of ever letting you go has become completely impossible.
2. Possessiveness:
Obsession. Protection. Paranoia.
He’s not just protecting you anymore, but everything you’re carrying inside you. Even the tiniest bit of stress is enough reason for him to lock you in the house. If someone bumps into you by accident? Seongjae might beat them up in the middle of the street without a second thought.
“I better not see you cry again. I’m dead serious.”
Even the dark circles under your eyes feel like a personal insult to him.
3. Physical Obsession:
He’s obsessed with your belly. Every time he talks to you, his hand goes there like a reflex. At night, he lays his head against it and whispers things to the baby. He starts acting like a “family” way before the baby’s even born — but not in a normal way.
“There’s a piece of me inside you. That means you don’t get to leave. Ever.”
4. Jealousy & Going Insane:
Another guy checking you out while you’re pregnant? Your best friend trying to take you out of the house? It’s all a problem. At some point, he might even try to hide the fact that you’re pregnant altogether.
“Don’t wear that. There’s no reason to show your stomach like that. People don’t need to see. That’s mine.”
5. Random Kindness Spikes:
He’ll suddenly start talking about baby room ideas, sweet little dreams, out of nowhere. In those moments he seems normal, like a regular excited dad — but there’s always a breakdown bubbling underneath.
“If it’s a girl, you can name her. But if it’s a boy… I’ll decide.”
6. Before & After the Birth:
The closer it gets to your due date, the more controlling he becomes. He chooses the hospital, who’s allowed in the room, even the nurse that’s going to be with you.
“If anything goes wrong… someone’s paying for it. Got it?”
And after the birth? He isolates you, the baby, and himself like it’s a three-person world. He wants to build everything from zero — just you three.
“It’s only us now. Everyone else out there is dangerous. What else do I need to do to make you understand that?”
Na Baekjin
1. When He Finds Out:
Silence. He masks his emotions, but his pupils shake. After you tell him, he holds your gaze — and stays exactly the same. Cold. Serious. Neither happy nor mad. Then he lowers his head a little.
“Is it mine?”
He trusts you. He does. But he still asks — not because he doubts you, but because he wants to believe so bad it physically hurts. And maybe… because he hates himself a little too much.
2. He Doesn’t Say “I Can’t Be a Dad,” but…
Responsibility? That’s not something he’s ever believed he deserved. He tells himself, “Someone like me can’t raise a child.” But he still parks outside your place every night, just watching. Making sure nothing happens.
“Don’t be alone. I’m behind you like a shadow — just act like I’m not there.”
3. His Way of Protecting You:
Silent. Brutal. Shadowed. Baekjin never publicly claims you. But anyone who threatens you? They start disappearing one by one. He’s given a silent order across the whole Union.
“If anyone even thinks about getting close to her — they better have their grave ready.”
4. How He Sees the Pregnancy:
It’s guilt mixed with obsession. When he sees your belly, his eyes freeze for a second. Because there’s a life inside you — his life — and he’s still struggling to believe something so pure could come from someone like him.
“If I were someone cleaner… maybe we could’ve really had this together.”
Still, his hands always go to your stomach. Every time he touches you, it’s careful. Gentle. Like he thinks you might break.
5. He Cuts You Off From the World:
The closer it gets to your due date, the more he isolates you. Friends? Family? Opinions? None of it matters to him.
“I don’t care what anyone says. If something happens to you… I’ll burn the f*cking world down.”
6. “Family” Becomes Real for the First Time:
Baekjin never had warmth growing up. Never had a real home. But now? Now the idea of building a house — not a place, but a feeling — with you and the baby is something he clings to in the dark. One night, he says without thinking:
“If someone had hugged me growing up… maybe I could’ve loved as good as you do.”
7. After the Baby’s Born:
He’s a wall. Cold, distant. But always there. He won’t hold the baby and coo over it, no. But he stands by the crib at night while you sleep, silently watching the tiny hand curled around his finger.
“Would it be okay… if I picked the name?”
Ahn Suho
1. When He Finds Out:
Shocked. Eyes wide. “Wait, what? Are you serious?! We’re PREGNANT?!”
At first, it doesn’t compute. He asks you to repeat it like three times. Then his hands start shaking. He might even tear up.
“I’m… I’m gonna be a dad? For real?!”
His first reaction is pure joy — mixed with straight-up panic. He wants to pick you up and spin you around, but the moment you say “Stop, I’m nauseous!” he freezes and immediately puts you down.
2. Ridiculously Affectionate:
He flips into “mom mode” in two seconds. Tries cooking for you, watches YouTube videos on pregnancy massages, double-checks every corner of the house like “is this safe for her? for the baby?”
“No more junk food. Less salt. Sit down, feet up. This baby’s not stressing you out!”
3. Fighting His Own Demons:
Deep down, he thinks, “I didn’t have a good childhood… what if I mess this up too?”
But he never says it out loud. He just holds you at night and whispers to your belly:
“If I raise this baby with someone like you… maybe I won’t mess it up.”
4. Emotional Rollercoaster:
Your hormones? Yeah, his are worse. You cry, he cries. You snap, he sulks — but then brings you a fruit bowl with a pouty face. One time, you probably ended up ugly crying together while eating stuffed grape leaves.
5. Silent Jealousy:
If he sees you talking to another guy? His whole vibe shifts. He won’t say anything, but the pout, the slumped shoulders, the quiet little stares — they’re all there.
“Go out if you want, just… wear something warm. And text me. At every step. I just— I worry, okay?”
6. The Birth Itself:
Sweating. Shaking. Crying. Loving. If they let him in the room, he’s right there, holding your hand like it’s the only thing keeping him alive. If they don’t — he’s on his knees outside the door, praying like his whole soul’s in it.
“You’re both okay, right? Please… that’s all I need.”
Yeon Si-eun
1. When He Finds Out:
His brain literally freezes for a second before it starts processing. When you say “I’m pregnant,” Si-eun just stares at you in silence. No yelling. No running. No hugs. His hands tremble a little.
“How long has it been? Are you okay? How many weeks?”
He hides his emotions — but every question screams, “I’m scared to death of losing you.”
2. Switches to Practical, Strategic Dad Mode:
Hospital? Booked. Doctor? Researched. Nutrition? Charted. Stress? Monitored.
“You’re not eating anything on this list. I’m serious.”
But also:
“But… if you’re craving something… I kinda snuck in a little chocolate. Please don’t be mad.”
3. He Suppresses Emotion, But Never Leaves You Alone:
He didn’t grow up with love, so he genuinely has no clue how to treat you or the baby. But one thing’s for sure: he’s not going anywhere.
He’s not the jealous type — but he is controlling. He won’t say “who did you hang out with?” but he’ll definitely check your phone later and mentally profile anyone who could hurt you.
“Don’t see anyone who might stress you out. Please. Not for me — for our child.”
Kang Woo-young
1. When He Finds Out:
Silence. Eyes on the floor. Then suddenly, his breath catches. He doesn’t say a word at first — just stares blankly. But if you look closely, you’ll see he literally forgot how to breathe.
“…I’m gonna be a dad?”
His voice shakes, but he tries to play it off. His jaw clenches.
“Okay. I’ll… I’ll figure this out. Just give me a little time.”
And then he leaves — not because he doesn’t care, but because he never planned to build a family. It was always just you and him. But later that night, he comes back. Finds you asleep, puffy-eyed from crying. Slips into bed behind you, holds you tight, buries his face in your neck.
“Don’t ever think you’re alone. No matter what… I’m here.”
2. Shows Love Through Actions, Not Words:
He can’t cook soup, but he’ll leave water by your bed every night. He can’t write you poetry, but he’ll tie your shoelaces without a word. And the first time your belly starts to show, his eyes well up.
“God, this is so weird. But so beautiful.”
3. Protection Style:
Quiet But Deadly.
Someone bumped into you? Woo-young doesn’t say a word. But a few days later, you’ll hear that guy got beat half to death in some underground ring.
He promises no more fights — “for the baby.” But of course he still does it.
4. Obsessed With Your Belly — But Too Shy To Show It:
His eyes keep drifting to your stomach when he talks to you. But he’s too shy to touch it. One night, you place his hand there — and he literally forgets how to breathe. His fingers tremble.
“Did you really love me this much?”
That night, for the first time, he rests his head on your belly and whispers for hours:
“Don’t be like your mom. She’s too soft. This world’s harsh.”
5. Emotional Breakdowns: Silent Crying:
As your pregnancy progresses, every time he feels like he’s not doing enough, tears fall. But he hides in the bathroom so you won’t see.
“I have to be strong. For both of you.”
6. Day of the Birth:
Looks like he just stepped out of a street fight. Doesn’t yell at the doctors, but the fire in his eyes says enough.
7. Fatherhood:
He can’t stop the baby from crying. Can’t change a diaper right. But every single night, he stays up beside the crib. He lets you cry in his lap without saying a word.
“You don’t have to be scared. I’m right here. Always.”
Oh Beom-seok
1. When He Finds Out:
Stares blankly. He thinks you’re joking at first.
“Wait… are you serious? From me? Like, really…?”
Then his voice breaks. His eyes fill up, but he tries not to cry. Honestly? His world crashes down. Because his dad… well, you know. And it’s not about what’ll happen to him — it’s the fear of something happening to you or the baby.
“I’m gonna… be a dad?”
His voice cracks saying it. Because his father made sure the word “dad” left a scar on his soul.
2. Wants To Run — But Can’t:
In his head: “I’m someone who doesn’t know love, who grew up on violence, who shuts everyone out. What do I have to do with someone like you?”
But leaving you would be death to him. So instead, he goes quiet. Closes in on himself.
“I don’t want to hurt you… so I might keep my distance for a while. But I won’t leave. I promise.”
3. Blames Himself Deeply:
Lays in bed staring at the ceiling every night.
“What if I turn out like him? What if I am him?”
4. Hyper Emotional, Super Fragile:
Every time you’re tired, he blames himself. Don’t feel like eating? He tears up, thinking he messed something up.
“I can’t stand seeing you upset. I’ve already been so awful… don’t turn into me.”
To him, your pregnant body feels sacred. Sometimes he can’t even touch you.
“You’re carrying something inside you now. I don’t even wanna accidentally hurt you. I’m scared.”
6. The Birth:
He breaks. Shaking. Sitting in some hospital hallway, hands covering his face, sobbing like the world’s ending.
“Please… God, please don’t take her from me.”
7. Fatherhood:
Slow, but deeply tender. Doesn’t know how to hold a baby. But watches over yours every second of the night. Talks to the baby while you sleep.
And one day, watching the two of you together — he smiles. For the first time. A real, slow, genuine smile.
“I thought I had no place in this world. But… you gave me a room in it.”
Go Hyun-tak
1. When He Finds Out:
This man goes feral. In a good way. Just stands there with this shocked, joy-filled smile, completely speechless. Then suddenly:
“Wait WHAT? OUR baby? PROJECT LEBRON JAMES BEGINS!”
2. Protective Soft Side Comes Out:
He shows up for every single doctor’s appointment. Tries to learn everything he can. At home, he leaves little surprises — hot soup, a fruit plate, a stack of pillows. But he does it shyly, almost embarrassed.
“You feeling okay matters more to me than anything.”
3. His Excitement Is Contagious:
Shopping for the baby? He treats it like a mission. Toys, clothes, the perfect paint color for the nursery — he’s got opinions.
“Our baby’s gonna sleep in the nicest room on the block, alright?”
4. Tiny Panic Attacks — But He Bounces Back:
He sometimes spirals like “what if we’re not ready?” But then breathes in, looks at you, and says:
“We’re in this together. No matter what. We’ve got this.”
5. Jealousy Is Soft & Silly:
Sees you chatting with another guy? Pouts a little. Then immediately smiles again.
“Sorry… I just. You’re kinda my whole world.”
6. Birth Time = Full Support Mode:
He’s right beside you, holding your hand, hyping you up with every push.
“You’re strong. I’m right here.”
When the baby cries for the first time, he’s standing right there, trying to feed it with trembling hands.
“Look at our tiny Lebron James.”
7. Dives Into Dad Life Fast:
He’s hungry to learn. Wakes up for every night feeding, writes down every little milestone.
“We’re building something new. You, me, and our baby. It’s gonna be amazing.”
Park Humin (Baku)
1. When He Finds Out:
He screams. For real. Like he just scored the game-winning goal in the final second. Pure, goofy, chaotic happiness.
2. A Little Insecure:
His relationship with his dad? Yeah. Complicated as hell. He’s terrified of telling him, and even more scared he might turn into him. Just like Beom-seok, he fears becoming a bad father.
3. Quiet, Emotional Protection:
With you? He’s tough. Out in public? He smiles and holds your hand like you’re fragile glass.
“No one’s touching you. Baku’s right here.”
But when he’s alone, his chest aches with the memories of his dad.
4. Tiny Surprises & Care:
You’re tired? He sets up cute little things around the house. Brings your favorite dessert. Buys fresh chicken from your favorite spot.
“I know this isn’t easy… but we’ve got this. Together.”
5. Jealousy & Trust:
Sees you talking to other guys? His eyes tear up — but he never says a word. Keeps it buried.
“Just… understand me, okay? I just wanna protect you.”
6. During Birth:
Nervous as hell but stands strong. His palms sweat like crazy, but he holds your hand the whole time.
“You’re gonna be okay. You and the baby — you’re both okay.”
7. Fatherhood:
Soft. Steady. Scared. But loving. He’s clumsy at first, scared to touch the baby. But he never leaves your side. Stands by the crib every night.
“I’m not just here for you anymore. I’m here for them too.”
