Welcome to the reverse verse! This is part 1 of 2 of a commission for @i-am-as-normal-as-you-are and I can't wait to tell you all about it, because I'm incapable of being normal and chill about these concepts, so I ran with it.

Charles Rowland was born in 1900, his mum was from India and moved to the UK after marrying Charles' dad, a soldier who was not... very loving. Charles' heritage gave him some problems, but none as bad as that one time in 1916 when he was sacrificed to a demon and spent the next 7 decades in Hell. He doesn't like to talk about it, except when it can get him what he wants. He was always an angry boy, or so he thought, but after his time spent in Hell, it became so much worse. He's explosive and unpredictable, and so he mostly avoids conflict. He doesn't need to fight anyone, as his charming personality and sweet smile (plus a few smart calculations) always seem to be enough to convince people to give him what he asks for. And when the fight is inevitable... well, he has Edwin for that!

Edwin Payne grew up very sheltered, in a deeply religious home, and he is proud of that. Don't try to argue with him, because he surely has a Bible verse that will help him win (and if not, he is not above using his croquet mallet now that he has someone to keep safe). Unfortunately for him, he realized at a quite young age that he felt attraction towards other boys. Even worse, somehow other people could tell as well, including those peers that ended up killing him for it (the rumour spread throughout school was that he had died due to AIDS, and most people just accepted it). He never acted on those unnatural urges of his, but when he met this ghost who had just escaped Hell... he decided not to risk eternal damnation, and to stay here with Charles, instead. Edwin has no interest in the supernatural or in magic, and sort of looks down on them, but luckily his friend's got that covered.

So like, I've been obsessed with this fanfic made by @harmonyrae and if you'd like to read it just click this because it's so good and I hope the creator continues all the parts they're planning to post in the near future!

For context— this is an LaDS College AU fanfic where the guys all attend the same university and were born as wealthy and privileged international students. I wanted to make a small doodled skit since I couldn't get that one particular scene out of my head.

I was pleasantly surprised when I read the scene where MC got to see his nipple piercings while they were waiting for Sylus to come out of the shower. I'm kind of curious, if he's like this in his dorm I wonder just how many times he's accidentally flashed people in his parents estate while he was living in SK... 😭

Just for the first time getting just how much Fiyero must resent Glinda now. The movie shows Fiyero riding out of Shiz after the announcement about Elphaba, and Act 2 is basically Fiyero continuously showing us what he's prepared to sacrifice for Elphaba (spoiler alert: it's everything). And I'm assuming Glinda and Fiyero must talk about Elphaba and how things really went down with the Wizard in the years in between. So for Fiyero to find out that Elphaba asked Glinda to come with her and she said no? She abandoned Elphaba in her moment of greatest need, when Fiyero was riding out to find her, to help her the moment he heard the news....like, yeah, I get it from Glinda's side too, this isn't a fair assessment of her, I know. But from Fiyero's perspective i would just be so angry.

oh my God... i can't breathe.

faifawine is the death of me, really! they're making me blush scream losing my mind my sanity everything!

this episode feels so, so intimate (although I do have to say, it's a bit inconsistent in terms of the pacing and theme placement) but it really feels like we're witnessing faifa and wine slowly trying to understand the feelings they have for each other. it's so heartwarming...

also, i love how grounded wine is. because to me faifa is like the air—he's always floating and moving, never stagnant. but with wine, he kinda takes the shape of wine, gradually becoming a person he truly is, not the one everyone perceives or wants him to be.

I'm just so glad that wine is doing everything faifa might do to everyone else. to faifa, it means nothing; an act of kindness that is just the usual courtesy. however, wine doesn't do this just to anyone. so time after time, faifa is reminded that he's becoming someone's special, as much as wine is his most precious.

however, there's this bitter lump in my throat whenever yotha says that faifa doesn't know how to love. because isn't yotha like that too initially? but gun waited, and he accepted yotha as he was. so it's nothing odd if wine is willing to do the same too. in fact, wine already is.

i don't know... it just makes me a bit sad because I feel like everyone perceives faifa as someone who's incapable of differentiating who he truly loves and who he doesn't, when he's now taking steps after steps to understand what true love and care means. it just breaks my heart that people like faifa are so easily categorised into a fixed shape, without given the chance to grow out of the box and become someone new—or someone they'd always been trying to be.

i'm getting a bit anxious because i don't know what conflict will they put faifawine in: is it tor or faifa's personality? thinking about these possibilities makes my heart ache either way...

i just have to say, this episode made me lose my marbles. my cheeks are still hot minutes after ending the episode. something about faifawine... something about them being so obviously in love with each other but so obliviously dense to their own feelings makes the pining so freaking delicious. I'm in love.

With the way Kid is shit talking Nina right now, and the fact that Killer went to go find Nina, something tells me he's gonna turn his anger on them both and end up losing Killer too for the time being. He's self destructing just like Nina, but I'm starting to think his spiral is going to be targeted at others instead of himself. The ego death crash out is gonna be insane, and probably worse when Kid and Killer find out about Loki.

Season 2 of Arcane is making me realize that Jayce was a really good character that was hamstrung by very few character interactions outside of Viktor and Mel last season. Yes, please put that sad bisexual with good intentions, poor judgement skills, and huge muscles in MORE situations.
