I was looking at your post of which Disney Princes the Weasels would be, and it got me thinking; which princesses would our gals/their S/O's would be? I hope this assessment puts a grin on your face XD and that I got your OC's right ^^

Lottie: Mulan. There was no hesitation in my mind with this one. Tough, badass, and military trained, but also loves her family to pieces. And they both got silly sidekicks too XD (Mulan has Mushu and Cricky, and Lottie has her unkles and cousins XD)

Shiny: I feel like Megera is the best candidate, even if she isn't an official disney princess. They're both sarcastic queens who have troubled histories, especially with men, and they both are soft inside ^^ and they both know how to seduce to get what they want, even if Meg hadn't been successful with Hercules in the way she expected.

Jane Doe: ... Sleeping Beauty, because they both are hiding from evil forces and don't appear so often? I'm sorry! I know Jane deserves more 😭😅 if it helps, it's also because I think they're both underrated (Sleeping Beauty was/is actually my favorite princess, despite how people feel about her and her movie). Another candidate I offer is Nala, as they are both are the half of their relationships that bring the best out of their partner, and are playful but also level-headed and focus on what's most important (Jane Doe on keeping Teddy safe, and Nala on bringing peace and order back to the pride lands)

(This moment between Nala and Simba definitely happened between Jane and Wheezy. You can't convince me otherwise XD ^^)

Poppy: I was gonna say Cinderella, but then I remembered that Psycho is Lucifer the cat, and got sad because that'd mean he'd be mean to her and make her life harder (and she would threaten him with a broom) 🥲😆 but that's fine, because I think Snow White is her best fit; they both are comparatively naive to the others, they both have messed up things either happening to them or that have happened to them. They both befriended a group of rowdy bachelors who would chase a wicked witch off a cliff for them, etc. And Poppy wishes she could sing in a well about her love life and her soulmate would appear like Snow XD (Also, something I've wanted to write is Percy and Penny watching Snow White for the first time and saying that their mother looks like a rabbit Snow White- and in turn asking dad if that makes him prince charming XD ^^)

Rena: She ain't a disney princess. I won't let those big blue eyes fool me. She's a wicked old queen. Rena and Yzma are both wicked, fabulous, crazy oldies with impeccable fashion taste. They both have weapons in equally sus and convenient(?) places. They both have very clear types (I'm with you; Yzma hired Kronk not just for a henchman), and can get people quickly on their side (Rena is more friendly than Yzma, but you saw how quickly Yzma got the palace under control... Granted, that's probably partially due to them not caring about Kuzco's 'death', but my point still stands-)

Looks like a cinnamon roll, but could kill you: Aditya sure looks very sweet at first, but if anything happens to his friends, his enemies are going to have a hard time ahead. He's as dangerous as Arjun if provoked. One time, Yuvraj was badly injured under the hands of the enemies, which scarred him deeply and it grew a rage inside of him, killing every single existing militant that almost killed his friend. This behavior even scared Arjun! But thank goodness, Yuvraj was back in one piece, and the job was done.

BACKGROUND STORY

Aditya Tripathi was born into a Gujarati family, his mother being a doctor and his father a wealthy businessman in trade. He decided to follow his passion in the field of healthcare, just like his mother, wanting to treat and heal people in their hardest times. He used to observe how his mother treated patients and kept note of every single procedure in case someone else faced the same issue. Things were going well so far, as Aditya also surpassed every single challenge, which further led him to pursue one of the top medical colleges to complete his doctor’s degree.

But due to an unfortunate event, Aditya had to drop his medical studies as he wasn't able to pass his exams with full intent. With that, he felt his dreams of becoming a doctor were completely shattered. Worse, his father was not happy with how Aditya failed his exams and insisted that he should rather help him in his business. This strained his relationship with his father, leading him to stress, depression, hopelessness, and the urge to call himself a failure at times, something his mother noticed. She tried to assure Aditya that things would be okay and that something better might be awaiting him.

Aditya went on a trip to Himachal Pradesh with his friends, who wanted to cheer him up. They had stopped near a restaurant for a break, but internally, he was already planning to give up his dreams to support his family in case he couldn't accomplish his own. But just then..

An accident occurred outside the restaurant, making Aditya and his friends rush outside to see what had happened, two soldiers were making their way to the cantonment area, but their bike had slipped, causing them to sustain injuries. Aditya quickly rushed to one of the soldiers who had a wound and immediately pulled out the medical supplies he had brought with him in case of an emergency. Within a few minutes, Aditya was able to help them recover quickly, as the soldiers were incredibly pleased by his actions. One of them looked at him and said;

"You're a quick one, young man. You could be a combat medic here and save many lives like this."

These very words from the soldier's mouth were enough not just to encourage Aditya but to help him find a new purpose. Failing his exams didn’t mean it was all over; he could still keep trying and evolve into something even better. He never forgot that day, and later on, it even sparked the urge to join the Indian Armed Forces. He could still make his parents proud by doing something extraordinary, and this realization filled him with absolute encouragement and determination.

Aditya didn’t tell his parents he was joining the army. Instead, he lied, saying he wouldn’t return home until he had achieved something greater. He enlisted in the Army Medical Corps, hoping to find a new purpose after his failure in medical school. But later on, his real dream was to become a Combat Medic in the PARA SF. Despite the silence and distance from his family, Aditya was determined to rise above his past and prove himself.

Before becoming a commando, Aditya had to endure the selection process of the special forces — the probation period where most candidates fail. It's all about the mental and physical pressure placed on you as you pass through every single test, but Aditya was able to keep going. He also saw many candidates desperately holding on, not wanting to give up, and Aditya encouraged them, which gave them a slight boost. The one thing about Aditya was that, even in the toughest times, he was able to keep a smile on his face.

The time came when Aditya had finally passed the selection process and completed his training at the Commando School. There, he also met Yuvraj Chaudhary, another aspiring soldier who, like him, dreamed of becoming a commando. Together, they graduated, earning their maroon berets and performing the glass-eating ritual to conclude the celebration. After completing the medical course and successfully passing it, Aditya felt like a new person. The one who had once dreamt of becoming a doctor was now a commando, proudly holding the responsibility of being a Combat Medic.

The moment he came back home, his mother opened the door and saw that her son sure wasn't wearing a doctor's coat, but a camo uniform. That didn’t disappoint anyone, it made them cry tears of happiness, that their son was now a soldier for the frontlines.

"Told you, Maa. Your son would come back only when he becomes something. And here I am.”

Even his father shed a tear, quickly wiping it away, proud to see his son finally accomplish what he had set out to do. Feeling regretful for his past disappointment, Aditya comforted him, saying he was glad that if it weren't for his anger, he wouldn't have come this far.

As they share a heartfelt hug, this is where Aditya's journey begins.. when he becomes a part of the Shatrujeet Unit.

SR-71 pilot recalls when he accelerated his Blackbird to Mach 3.2 and denied an F-15 pilot an “easy,” simulated kill against its Habu during a training sortie

The SR-71 Blackbird

During its 24 years of service, the SR-71 Blackbird gathered intelligence in some of the world’s most hostile environments. The Blackbird evaded all 4,000 missiles fired at it and, to this day, remains the only US Air Force (USAF) aircraft to never lose a crewmember associated with it; whether in the air or on the ground.

The Blackbird was designed to operate at extreme velocities and altitudes: in fact, from 80,000 feet, it could survey 100,000 square miles of Earth’s surface per hour. Thus, achieving a radar lock on it was extremely difficult for any hostile fighter.

Nevertheless, according to former Blackbird driver Col. Richard H. Graham, USAF (Ret.) there were two fighters that could achieve (simulated) SR-71 kills, but only under certain conditions.

‘Don Emmons and I, as well as many other Habus, had flown numerous at “Tomcat Chase” and “Eagle Bait” sorties against our best fighters—the Navy’s F-14s and the Air Force’s F-15s,’ says Richard H. Graham, former SR-71 Blackbird pilot, in his book SR-71 Revealed The Inside Story. ‘We flew the SR to provide the fighters practice at finding, tracking, locking on, intercepting, and simulated firing of their sophisticated F-14 “Phoenix” missile and the F-15 ‘s AIM-7M “Sparrow” at a high-altitude, high-speed target. The “Tomcat Chase” missions were flown over the Pacific Ocean and “Eagle Bait” missions the Nellis AFB training area.’

Until the latest technology of Air-to-Air missiles came along (the AMRAAM, a fire-and-forget missile which in the first versions had a range of about 35 miles), the AIM-7 Sparrow, the only all the long-range missile fielded by the US Air Force (USAF) required the aircraft’s radar to continue tracking the SR-71 long after the missiles were launched. The Sparrow had to remain locked-on to the SR-71 in order for its Fire Control System (FCS) to relay tracking information back to the missile, so it could make appropriate corrections, racing towards the target. By turning on their Defensive systems (DEF, pronounced “deaf”) SR-71 crews could easily deny the F-15 fighters any meaningful radar information to guide their missiles.

Graham continues;

‘All I ever heard on the radios from the fighters as they sped underneath us was, “Ah damn it, we’re too late!” We tried for years to get SAC Headquarters approval to practice the same intercepts with Det 1’s SR-71s against Kadena’s F-15s. Every Det 1 Commander, particularly Col. Lee Shelton, pushed to get the practice intercepts approved because they believed a lot could be learned by both aircraft. Eventually SAC gave in to Colonel Shelton’s repeated requests and approved the practice intercepts. In order to get high enough to take a reasonable shot at us, F-15 crews were given special permission to do a zoom-climb to 50,000 to 55,000 feet before a simulated AIM-7 launch against the SR-71. They had permission to be above 50,000 feet for a maximum time of 90 seconds without wearing a pressure suit.’

Former SR-71 pilot, Capt. Steve “Griz” Grzebiniak, writes about the Kadena intercepts in Graham’s book SR-71 Revealed The Inside Story.

‘We flew the HABU as a high-altitude target for the F-15’s only on our infrequently scheduled “DEBBIE” training sorties. We were the fighter’s “training aid,” but it provided us with some valuable training and insight as well. I think it’s common knowledge that our aircraft and pilots are the finest in the world and if anyone could shoot down an SR-71, it would be one of our own.

‘Our pre-briefed mission required us to fly a specific track, at Mach 2.8 and no higher than 70,000 feet. In addition, we were required to fly over a designated point in space (the IP) and call our time out from the IP in one minute intervals starting five minutes back. If that wasn’t enough, we would dump some fuel at the IP to help the fighters get a visual “tally” on us. After each mission, we would debrief by phone, and the F-15 drivers would report “four AIM-7’s launched, four kills on the HABU.”

‘The next target sortie Jim and I flew had a different outcome. We were scheduled to make two passes over the intercept track. The F-15 guys were excited to have another chance to “smoke” the HABU. On the next pass, Jim and I flew the plan as briefed. One minute calls from the IP, on course, on altitude, Mach 2.8, “here’s some fuel dump guys, come and get us.”

‘The next pass was different. I said to Jim that our F-15 jockeys are the best in the world, let’s give them a challenge. Jim and I knew that we were flying our favorite jet, tail number 962—she never let us down. We came down the track to the IP, making our one minute calls, but there was no fuel to dump because we were at 86,000 feet and Mach 3.2. The inlet doors were slammed shut and the jet was purring like a kitten. I made a shallow 10 degree bank turn, not so much to foil the F-15 ‘s intercept, but to allow Jim to see the contrails flailing below us.

‘In the phone debrief after the mission, the F-15 flight lead reported “four shots and four kills” on the first pass and mumbled something about radar problems and no kills on the second pass. Even with the world’s best planes, pilots, and missiles, it would take “a golden BB” [a lucky blind shot by the enemy] to bring down a HABU.’

POTC AU / Fanfiction idea:

A Capt. Jack Sparrow x reader where reader is a time traveller, ok I know time traveller not a new concept, but hear me out though. So Jack in this is an actual pirate in history but not alot is known about him in reader’s time. Not sure yet how it is they end up in his time, maybe some weird phenomenon while seeing the green flash.

But when they turn up there its in between 1st and 2nd movie, the story will include the events of the 2nd movie and third movie. I had this idea that would explain why in the 4th and especially the 5th, Jack fortunes get worse and worse because reader between 3 and 4 gets pulled back to their time while Jack thinks he’s lost them forever and kind of just sort of gives up. But eventually reader finds their way back to him.

Sorry I tried to keep this brief, ill posts snippets here and there as they come to me. Similar to the head canon and short story posts ive seen. Im not a writer by any means but going to give it my all.
