im rlly excited for all the alyagaminette pairing days! and i’m surprisingly interested in day 6 and 27, ondigami/swordfish are SO compelling to me both as characters and as a ship, and aurore x mireille is a cute concept i’ve never even considered exploring :)

Miraculous Ladybug Femslash February 2025 is now here…! 

All main girls get at least one or two pairs, but some are more popular in this chart than others. Once again, f/f starring older female characters are double-booked to allow more pairings.

Adrien as Miles, Mari as Gwen, Luka as hobie, Nino as pav, Alya as spiderbyte etc etc) 12) jgiamog can catgirls needing therapy be a trope? no? okay probably forbidden love. it's basic, but you can get HEARTWRENCHING angst from it and i am a COMPLETTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEE sucker for angst sooo 28) my least favorite part?? Probably when i've been writing and the words stop working and it gets all stiff. like when i need music to focus but the music ends up crowding my head so i just have to give up and lie down. So i guess it would be the moment of writers block, if that's how you'd describe it?

first off, if we add these lyrics together, it destroys me:

the second thing is. Emilie was in love with Gabriel 😭 Nathalie came into a marriage already established and ends up falling for Emilie, then Gabriel, or a mixture of both at the same time 😭 it would be so nice to think emilie didn’t but….. the thing is, in this triangle, everyone matches each other’s freak in different ways.

focusing on eminath….. oughghgjgjh I could say so much but. Reasoning from the fact that Emilie left NATHALIE the plea video tapes, and entrusting her son’s future with her, we can assume they continued to be friends after Tibet. not just becoming her assistant. and I have such a GUT PUNCH feeling about the moments they could have shared, outside of my other ideas of Emilie being manipulative with Nathalie’s feelings for fun and games. like.

both of them getting up for a late night cup of water and running into each other. Emilie leaning her head on Nathalie’s shoulder. talking about her marriage, which not only involves Nathalie’s BOSS but also friend (who she will later conspire with!!!).

nathalie holding her. emilie doing nathalie’s hair for events (saying she used to do amelie’s growing up). emilie shooting her a teary-eyed glare after a particularly tough argument with gabriel, and, when nathalie tries comforting her, shoving her away and saying she doesn’t need nat’s pity. what would she know about being married? what would she know about being in love? what would she know about having a kid? it’s this constant build up of being close friends, who sometimes play with adultery, to business associates. it’s about the lines and how to draw and redraw them.

this is borderline incomprehensible but. YEAH I THINK ABOUT GOOD LUCK BABE AND CHRISTINE A LOT. THANK YOU CARPETBUG!!!

Currently Watching: Not a huge fan of TV shows, but I did rewatch Hbomberguy's Pathologic video recently. The idea of the multiple main characters making worse decisions when you don't play as them is one of my favorite concepts EVER and I could only hope to create something that captures that concept.

Currently Reading: The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers. I love love LOVE the weird fiction genre so much. It's also an anthology of short stories which makes it much easier to digest schedule-wise.

Currently obsessed with: Claudrien. I apologize that it's the only thing I ever talk about. I think it's terminal. But a close second is Delulunette/Lucky Lucky Ladybug because she's so fun to write as an unlikable whiny girlfailure with a god complex.

Aside from On The Fence aka my crack AU where fencing becomes Marinette' s special interest and she bullies everyone for doing it wrong Idk. I mostly write one shots for a reason, I suck at staying motivated xD I'm looking forward to Ladybug defeating Hawk Moth by challenging him to a fencing duel, I think that'll be premium cracky content.

I guess I also still need to write a scene in Bubblegum Soul? (Heavy sentiangst, post-Monarch defeat, Adrien goes on a journey of self discovery) I'm still missing the scene where Ladybug and Chat Noir confess their love for each other so oops- (I should go and write that)

I know I haven't updated Ladrien Roommates in almost a year and Say Something has been nearly as long but aksfbkdsjb I swear they're still on the list. Quite frankly it might take me a while to get back to Say Something though, because I'm just...very stuck. And I keep rethinking the next few chapters.

Also, Happier--my Adrigaminette WIP--gets an honourable mention in the priority list because I SWEAR I'm going to get back to it at some point 😭

Okay I'm super excited about the arc that the next chapter (which with a little luck may be posted today...) is going to set into motion. Especially because I don't think anyone quite knows where precisely I'm going with it...hehehe

Hm. I have one heart-to-heart scene I have planned for a few chapters from now where Ladybug gets to know Alya a little better and maybe starts to fall for her a little...

Looking forward to the next chapter!! Like, all of it! The thing is, I feel like I need a good chunk of time to really FOCUS on writing it. And I'm still navigating balancing writing time with my work schedule.

There's a little arc that will pop up in the chapter after next where Ladybug has trouble sleeping...and naturally there's no better way to fix that than for Adrien to invite her into his bed 👀

There is a conversation between Adrien and Kagami in the next chapter that was one of the reasons the length of this fic got out of hand 😂

I want more interactions! I want rose and chloe to bond over stuffed animals. I want nino and alix to pull stupid pranks on people and vandalize shit. I want kagami and nathaniel to hang out (and talk about how fun it is to draw marinette and their respective boyfriends). I want adrien and juleka to play piano and sing and make music together. I want marinette and max working together to design an entire video game. I want luka and kim to smoke weed together and have the funniest and stupidest conversation imaginable. I want ivan and alya babysitting her sisters together so he can have more experience with kids to be a stay at home dad. I want zoe and mylene to build a school garden together. yknow shit like that.
