A polite cough echoed down the hallway that lead to Archie's office, and a light knock on the door following soon after.

Archie had been locked up in his bedroom for the last hour after Maxie had finally left, wrapped up in a storm of emotions…rage, disappointment, and to his own annoyance, a sadness which simmered in the pit of his stomach. He had only been able to feel this way for short time before he needed to numb himself, in the only ways he knew how. 

So when he heard the tapping on his office door, he felt his temper begin to rise once again, as in his current state, the only possible person he believed could be on the other side was Maxie. He cracked open his bedroom door.

"Come back for more?" he screamed into the direction of the office entrance, "Just fuck off, Maxie. I wouldn’t give a crap if I never saw your face again, so just go!"
