I get where you’re coming from and you’re of course entitled to your opinion, but please note that Erika Ishii is genderfluid and saying no one on the cast is trans does exclude them. Their character spends the first season discovering that she isn’t comfortable with only she/her pronouns or her original name and exploring that feeling. The first season of mismag does in fact poke a lot of fun at the entire structure of the books, and has serious moments addressing the systemic discrimination within them. Obviously you don’t have to watch it and you can be as upset as you like, but I do think these are facts you may have missed

there is a larger problem in the queer community as a whole with taking trans masc experiences and believing that to be the whole of trans experiences or believing trans masc issues to be ubiquitous to trans issues.

Yes, Erika is nonbinary. They're also transmisogyny-exempt. Meaning they do not have the experiences of a trans fem person and will never experience transmisogyny.

There is a reason that anti trans hate is focused primarily on "men invading women's spaces" and then "the dirty trans corrupting our women into men". Trans women specifically inhabit a space that is more acutely demonized and endangered than non-transfems experience. Intersecting lines of marginalization will do that (being a woman, moving away from the "male centric", being queer).

When looking at JKR's work and real world impact, it is specifically targeted violently at trans fem individuals. Her book specifically includes transmisogynist caticatures and "female-purist" ideals (the staircase not letting boys into girls dormitories but girls can go into boys). She attacks and sends hate groups towards those she considers to be "stealth transfem". She funds laws and "bathroom bills" predicated on ideas that "men in women's spaces" would be a threat. Given all of this context, it's absolutely not okay to say that a transmascs perspective (as little as it sounds like that was explored) can replace the depth of critique and exploration a transfem voice would have supplied.
