It’s been like this for a few days. The temp now is at 33F degrees (1C) but it’s not snowing. My guess is that there is some fog out there. I was thinking about you @caveundertree when I took this.

Nothing going on here today. I probably will join the crowd at the gym in a while.

The Sounds of Silence

Not many people know that microphones are designed to hear specific frequency ranges. This flute may be a bit low for my phone. I've been complaining about shake making it difficult to type or play flute. I've made the change to my Xun as an ADA accommodation. You can see my fingers shaking over the tone holes when I open them.

Unlike yesterday, we only have one shade of grey today, nice and foggy. I was thinking of you @lisa-s-84 when I took this pic. 🙄

It is very calm and quiet this morning. Today is gym day even though my back is still sore from a long car ride the other day. 🙁

Am also thinking about @caveundertree and hope the hurricane stays clear of where you are. It looks like it will.

Nope. But I was almost Jennifer until my mom saw there were a few Jennifer’s already in the nursery.

When was the last time you cried?

Yesterday. These past few years I’ve cried more than I’d like to admit.

One son.

Of course not! 😉

I hate to copy you @feralchaton but their energy is also my answer. It took me a long time to listen to my intuition however.

Both please. But if I have to choose - scary movies. 😱

What are your hobbies?

Too many to list: but reading, anything to do with nature, art, and being outside. I love watching the birds. 🦅 🐦 I also love traveling but haven’t been able to do it much. Oh and fixing things.

Have any pets?

No. I always have but my cat died not too long ago and we are thinking about adopting a new fur baby soon. Her name was Nala and she was awesome. We called her cat dog.

What sports do you play/have played?

I was always active until I got multiple chronic illnesses but never played a sport in school (except for tennis for a short time). I like hiking, skiing, rollerblading (okay I like roller skating better🛼), swimming, biking etc. I also think basketball is fun.

How tall are you?

5’6”

Favorite subiect in school?

Woodshop and art. Technically not subjects but fun. 😊

Dream job?

Photojournalist or a wildlife photographer, or an artist of another type. I also think it would be awesome to work on a movie set. I want to watch a movie being made from start to finish.

Before and After

Here is the stump for that giant tree I have been posting about. The stump measures 45 inches across one way and 50 inches across the other way. I counted the rings as well as I could but there was a lot of water gushing up. The tree appears to be 80 to 82 years old. 😲

It took a while to grind out this big boy. They dug down about three feet and guess what @caveundertree , they couldn’t find any cave. 🫤

Here is how it looked after they were done. The crew did a very nice job, and quick too. I have already added some grass seed and a little covering and water. I am glad that’s over with.

Monday is looking better already. 😀
