Ghost Power Theories/Predictions

Now that we know all of the main 8’s powers, here are some guesses for what the other ghosts’ ghost powers could be.

Nigel

• Metal detectors go off if he’s close enough to them. (Due to the metal bullet lodged in his chest)

OR

• When upset enough and has reached his limit, objects around him start to break or malfunction. (Examples include mirrors, glasses, lights, the television, tea kettle)

OR

• Can be seen and heard on ghost hunting equipment unlike other ghosts. (Such as EVP’s, EMF readers, and photographs)

Jenkins

• When he fires his musket, the livings can hear it.

OR

• Is able to produce the smell of gunpowder when walked through by a living.

Baxter

•(Similar to Jenkins’) Livings can hear him when he plays his fife.

OR

• If he plays his fife high enough, it can shatter glass.

Crash

• He’s able to turn on/off motorcycles and drive them.

Stephanie

• When livings walk through her, they become temporarily rude. (Basically like how Stephanie was a mean girl when she was alive)

OR

• She can scratch livings resembling the chainsaw marks on her back.

Carol

• (Similar to Elias’) When livings walk through her, they become unfaithful to their spouses.

OR

• When walked through, the living is unable to lie for the rest of the day. (A little nod to the fact that she basically lied to Pete everyday about cheating on him so in contrast, the living have no choice but to tell the truth)

No really, I do love her. She wakes up once every six months and decides to Cause Problems on Purpose.

Really Keeps things interesting.

I think that its fascinating that shes literally the same age as Trevor but they died at different points in their lives. Would love to see some interaction between them that wasn't just her sexually harassing him.

Speaking of, I do enjoy that dynamic. I feel like lesser writers would have had it be the typical Old Dude creeping on a Teenage Girl dynamic that was considered funny for far too long. I really like that they flipped that and have the Horny 54yrold perpetual teenager aggressively hitting on the 20/30something guy who's deeply creeped out at being hit on by a Teenager.

I'm glad they found a teenage boy Ghost for her to be with but I'm like 90% convinced that Ralph was the one who was actually Sucked Off, which would be super funny. Stephanie either mourning her short lived romance, or irate that he just Got What He Wanted from her and then Left. Either way it's hilarious.

Would love to see Issac and Alberta mess with her somehow just to cause Drama like the thing with Crashes head. Maybe they wake her up on purpose and frame one of the other ghosts? Oh, maybe Ralph starts getting flirty with Carol and they wake Stephanie up to end the Madness.

I would love to see her interact with Carol. They'd either be Gossiping Bitches torturing Pete and waging psychological war against the other Mean Girls ie Issac and Hetty, or at each other's throats for petty reasons and either way I would enjoy the dynamic.

I wonder what it was like for Stephanie when she first died, how she got along with the other Ghosts, and how did she wind up living in the Attic.

I would love to learn more about her life. Aside from being murdered on Prom Night because her date was a horny asshat, what was life like for Stephanie?

if i had a nickel for everytime i had a favorite character who was a ghost girl from the 1980s with big, curly brown hair that lived in an attic and had a crush on a guy who was older than them, i'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but i think i'm starting to notice a pattern

I can only assume since the show’s supposed to be a more light-hearted sitcom, the writers tried to steer away from as much gore as possible. Though, considering how both Flower and Stephanie had died, they probably should look worse than they already do. 😅

We are all aware that by how they died, most of the ghosts should look so much worse, right? We still appreciate them not looking as horrid as they probably should? Yes, we do.
