Shamelessly(?) reblogging again since my obsessive brain couldn't leave Trevor's painting alone and I noticed some things I wanted to correct - I think I'm finally satisfied lol? In any case I replaced the top image with the corrected one (still couldn't win the fight against the camera glare though ugh).

Finished painting Trevor at long last (full disclosure that his portrait isn't true to life since I used a flipped reference photo but I liked that particular profile view so...🤫)

Unfortunately I couldn't avoid the glare in the top photo but an attempt was made! Now they sit on my dresser and judge me...

-hetty realized she DID love trevor after petes speech during the failed nissac wedding

-thor loves watching how it’s made like an insane amount he loves to see how things he doesn’t even know the name of are made and he doesn’t understand why everyone else doesn’t think it’s as enthralling as him

-sasappis loves cooking shows but not like the normal ones but like the challenging ones (chopped, guys grocery games etc) and he constantly asks sam to have jay audition for them cuz he thinks it would be funny

-trevor loves to lock sam and jays phones and ipad by putting in the wrong password in over and over cuz he’s bored what else is he gonna do

-isaac and trevor are actually pretty close and like to hangout and watch raunchy 80s movies

-sometimes flower hangs out with stephanie and stephanie pretends she hates it and doesn’t like her but sees her like an older sister kinda

-hetty is a fucking flower ENTHUSIAST she will be pissed if your soil isn’t the right ph for hydrangeas (even tho the woman never picked up a shovel in her life) and she makes sam flip through those flower catalogs so she can pick what they plant

-alberta loves messy ass shows like euphoria and skins and shameless

I didn't forget about Trev! The nice summer weather is finally (mostly) here so I'm outside more/painting less but I finally made a bit of progress. Still have a million corrections to make on his facial anatomy but then I'll finally be free to just paint.

With my final piece of evidence I aim to end this once and for all . Look at those little cuties, pay close attention to how she had to TURN her hand which by the way is BEHIND his, and his fingers weren’t in view until AFTER we could CLEARLY see that their hands were separated. This can only mean one thing, they are in love and holding hands your honor. CASE CLOSED!

Kinda unpopular opinion:

I think Trevor is most at blame for the fact that he and Hetty aren’t together at the moment. He has a habit of exploding and saying things without thinking, in order to keep himself guarded (we saw him do this big time in the Shelley episode). It’s kind of a recurring thing with him. Whenever he is hurt or nervous about being hurt, he walks away. He did that way back with the Nigel room situation, but then he calmed down and worked with Hetty on her level, realizing that she likely hadn’t had a guy who considered her needs, and she was very willing to compromise with him.

Hetty, for as far as she’s come, still has a habit of deferring to men in certain situations��especially when it comes to romantic things. She is very outspoken and no-nonsense in 90% of situations, but romance is still something pretty new to her and that takes a lot of learning more updated views and unlearning a lot of old ones. Throughout their relationship, (which we found out definitely seemed like a pretty serious relationship this past season), Trevor kept referring to it as “hooking up”, despite his actions saying otherwise. Heck, he even referred to it as “whatever this is” while breaking up with her.

Yes, Hetty could have been more caring and spoken to him regarding the Good Luck Chuck scenario. However, in that scene HE really didn’t explain himself. Just got really mad and ended things. The scene ended with Hetty looking completely devastated. But, he had ended it, so what could she really do? The moment she found out he had been hurt by it, (like, a year and a half later), she immediately apologized for hurting his feelings and felt terrible about it.

Hetty doesn’t really seem mean and cold; she just honestly doesn’t know what he’s doing since he’s all over the place. Any time she realizes he’s upset, she immediately apologizes for hurting him and seems truly regretful that she did.

And that’s not to mention how “Power Friends” came to be due to him being all “I’m not saying I want to get back together or anything” after he had just thrown a whole tantrum over how they weren’t together anymore, (and then immediately backtracked on his ‘not wanting to get back together’ statement all within the same sentence).

Like, bro…she likes you. You like her. Stop with the emotional whiplash 🤣
