Native Speakerism has effects that are far-reaching , influencing our interactions, opportunities, and perceptions in reflective ways. It doesn’t sound really nice when there are cases where people, born and grew up in a country and even have its passport, still struggle with their own language. Surprisingly, despite these confusing situations, there are cases of strong biases favoring native speakers on social media.

it was like a cult.

a perfect cult filled with dolls.

except all of you were in college. and in a sorority.

stanford took pride on the sorority, raising alot of money. the pride and joy of the college.

and that meant you and your sorority sisters couldn't get yourselves involved with the frat boys! the playboys of the college that do nothing but drink, party, and sex.

but art couldn't help himself. you were just so pretty, sexy, bitchy. and forbidden. sue him for wanting to get a piece of you.

"are you going to the party today?" art hums, trailing behind you like a puppy as you walk to your class. his eyes wander around your body, the way your baby doll shirt and skirt fit you. and that stupid pink bow that all the girls in your sorority wear. a give away for everyone to recognize the dolls of the school.

"we organized the party." you say bluntly. and that's what pisses him off; how you clap back at him without so much of a frown or smirk. he wants to get you to show some type of emotion. anything. "right." he sighs, a sigh that resembles a very much deflated sound.

"you gonna drink?" he asks casually, smirking as he softly grabs both of your shoulders to pull you to him. not touching you fully but enough to make you look at him. "that's none of your business," you sigh, looking up at him. how can you be so nonchalant but so pretty.

"that's a yes then." he grins, looking so proud of himself with that shit eating grin. "dont get too drunk, baby. or do," he leans in, and you lean back. still as emotionless as ever. "ill be there to take care of ya, 'kay?"

you pull away, and he lets you go. "see you there!" he says obnoxiously loud so everyone in the hallway turns to look at you both. "bye art." you wave him off, walking inside.

and god, you saying his name makes him breathless. he smiles, deadass smiling like a little boy with a fresh new toy.

fun fact: if a character has big ol' titties and an itty bitty waist in a stereotypical male gazey way in canon, you actually don't have to shrink them down to a vague B-Cup to make your redesign Feminist™. you can just draw them big with more realistic anatomy and physics and maybe even put them in clothes that aren't vacuum sealed. you can even do this with characters that aren't "supposed to be sexy" Femme Fatale types because some introverted bookish type women or cool action women are just out there having big ol' titties and some women who like to dress sexy have small tits. you can do this to "soft-hearted nice girls" without making them chubby/fat to compensate and even redesign female characters of all personality types to be chubby/fat with smaller tits because not every fat woman on the planet has an hourglass body shape and a sweet and demure personality. you can draw black women who don't have slender athletic pear-shaped builds and east asian women who aren't tiny, petite, and fair-skinned. you can even apply everything I just said above to female characters of color! you probably should! you can, in fact, practice body diversity in your character redesigns without just repurposing old bigoted stereotypes under a wet paper thin veneer of Feminism™.

I want Miles 42 to be an absolute sweetheart and a dork just to mess with the fandom. Like he’s a bit aggressive towards Miles 1610 but like if your exact copy suddenly materialized in your home and went talking to your mom and uncle you’d be weirded out too. I want the whole fandom to sit down and see him be Dorkius McDorksman just to teach ‘em to stop stereotyping black boys.

12. Something that you want right now

Honestly? A pizza djsjsjsj a plain and simple Margherita. And I'm not usually a big fan of pizza (I can go for months and months without it, and even then just because someone else wants to eat it) but tonight my sister invited me out to eat an ice-cream with her + her bf, so that was my dinner. When we were biking back, through the city center, there was this incredible, warm and yummy smell of bread and mozzarella and oregano--

33. Something that you want to learn

Want is the keyword here (need to? How to drive. I'm getting my driving license, waaay later than the average bc I hate cars, I didn't need one B4 but nowadays you have to HAVE a car to get most jobs. Which is absolutely infuriating and discriminating but I digress).

I want to learn how to make pins! The standard round ones, to be specific. I'm gonna make them with cardboard and other stuff, BC I want to have an art&craft project. And then they are gonna go on my baseball cap!
