the fact that in the year 2024 the FIRST EVER OMEGAVERSE LIVE ACTION HAS A SECOND SEASON and the cast of said series is equally excited about it makes my mind blow. like how did we get here HOW DID WE GET HERE

It feels like such a breath of fresh air with how Change 2561 treats their artists.

Pavel doing whatever he wants and saying whatever he wants and admitting that half of the time what he and Pooh do is just to tease the series Y fangirls is honestly such a welcome change and so refreshing to see.

Also, all of the boys maintaining their friendships (read: the labubu gang and the pitbull gang) regardless of who their official ships are feels like such a breath of fresh air in a toxic environment.

It's good to see that they can do whatever they want and that they are not being forced into fanservice.

The BL world is healing.

Whether Pit Babe 2 works for me is going to come down to three things:

Why is Babe crying? We already know Pavel will be earning his pay in tears (AND sexiness), but what exactly will they be doing to him? I go from "oooh drama" to "ugh drama" with a quickness and season 1 was honestly A LOT. They sorta killed both his fathers, as well as his best frienemy and his boo thang. As I said, it was a lot.

How are they going to satisfy the people just tuning in for Alan/Jeff without derailing the storyline? I'm happy for them to give the side couple their shine but it has to be well thought out. Theoretically, it shouldn't be so challenging since Alan is the adoptive uncle for this brood and Jeff is the brother of the male lead (not to mention has extra special abilities that may be central to the narrative) but I don't trust showrunners not to fuck it up. Get that balance right, please!

And, I KNOW I'm in the minority here but, to stick the landing, I need them to resolve the KentaPete-PeteKenta storyline in a way I can accept. The chemistry was combustible in season 1 and their backstory was compelling. Now, we are supposed to be happy about Pete messing with Way's clone(?) and Kenta getting together with a character he barely had any screentime with. To be clear, this is not about the actors. I frickin love Benz and Nut, but I need the plot to be plotting because right now, I'm dubious.

As i was watching boys journey, a question popped in my mind:

Do you think that, after Pit Babe 2, (and after ITMBC and GBYFD have aired) we will get a new series with the 12 of them ? Do you think that Change could/would get another story that could fit all of them? Not necessarily with PoohPavel as lead...or even a BL....just something with the 12 of them?

I know that we still have a long time before having to say goodbye the them as a full 12 member cast (fan meeting, ect). And even after, they will still be under change (hopefully). I just needed to get that question out there.

RULES

The expected behaviour and rules for the Change Gift Exchange 2024 are - 

All participants must create a fic of minimum 700 words in comprehensive English, or a completed fanart or comic, or a podfic of an original, unposted work written by the podfic creator that is minimum 5 minutes long, related to the show and the characters and/or the ships, as asked in the request.  There is no maximum length for any fics or podfics.

Works created MUST follow the fandom(s) and ship (romantic or platonic) and/or characters that the assignments contain, and MUST comply the do-not-wants/won’t-reads/squicks etc that any assignment has specified.  The creator is allowed to include other ships and characters not given in the request, provided that the recipient has not forbidden those ships and/or characters in the request. The optional tags and any descriptions/prompts given in the assignments can be taken as a guideline, but do not necessarily need to be followed.

All participants are REQUIRED to provide 3 requests and 5 offers at minimum. Note that a participant may provide more—upto 6 requests and 10 offers at maximum.

The requests and offers must be listed based on priority, with the first being the participant’s most desired to receive and create, and the last one the least.  However, it can not be guaranteed that the first one will be matched, participant must be ready to create any offer or accept gifts from any request that they have put down.

One request and one offer MUST be sfw. This is to make sure that there’s a sufficient pool of choices for both sfw and nsfw gifts so everyone gets matched and no one is compelled to create works that don’t comply with their squicks and won’t do-s. Please note, following the priority listing in rule 3, participants should NOT put sfw offer(s) and/or request(s) first if they wish to receive nsfw gifts and/or get assigned to create nsfw works.  Put the sfw offer(s) and request(s) first ONLY if you want to receive sfw gifts and/or get assigned to create sfw works.

All submitted works MUST be original, previously unposted, completed, and fit the recipient’s request. 

All works MUST abide by the recipient’s prompt’s ratings, ships, and hard limits/squicks/do not wants. Any work that doesn’t abide by this may not be revealed, or if discovered after revealed, taken down.

All works should be tagged appropriately, and must have relevant archive warnings, if any. 

No shaming, harassing other creators for their requests, offers, prompts and/or submitted works will be allowed. Spread joy and happiness, not sorrow and discourse :D
