I am going to personally find and kill someone at DHL international shipping.

#dylan says things #I ordered this record and they claim they attempted delivery on the 4th #which is simply entirely untrue #and they have not tried to deliver it to me since and I didn't get anything telling me to pick it up anywhere #I go to their website hoping to talk to a person about this. Their primary way of interacting with customers is an AI chatbot #It takes me fucking ages to find their phone number #I call them. still robot voices #eventually the robot voice tells me to enter my tracking number which it says must be 10 digits #my tracking number is significantly longer than 10 digits. I enter it anyways. It does not work.#I still have not talked to a human person. I am beginning to suspect no human people actually work at this company #I have now sent them an email and it is incredibly unclear if they will respond.#please i know my package is in the city somewhere I just want to have my record

I had a dream of soylent chatbots made out of people. Maybe the chatbots aren't made out of human bodies or even people toiling away in some scam center, but the way this sausage is made, and served, is nevertheless going to sour everyone eventually. We don't need more synthetic text messing up being able to look up anything online.

I'm relying more and more on my library and scientific journal resources, but apparently those too are filling up with synthetic text peer reviewed by chatbots.
