Any non kpop song reccs?

Not necessarily recommendations, but these are some local songs I've been listening to recently. In no particular order -

I like the lyrics. It feels almost personal.

Charlie and Erin's song. Ngl i do like the chorus.

A good song to drown surrounding noises out, quite good for being able to focus on tasks. It just has that vibe for me.

I can listen to any Chase Atlantic song and vibe tbh. But here's a different song of theirs to ones i always talk about-

oh my god like all of them? daddy issues and mommy issues play a huge part in a lot of my writing WNDKJF abandonment complex is there... the need to be useful because I think without it I would end up alone... lots of things. you could literally diagnose me just by combing through my writing. it's ok <3

4) do you write in public? like where people can see your screen?

yeah im VERY ballsy. i keep my font small though and usually try to hide my screen a little like im not with my back to the door in a busy coffeeshop but I will write on planes and public transportation. I write with my back to my (open) bedroom door when my roommate's home but she knows about me and my antics so KDJD.... I used to casually write in class sometimes when I was still in school. I can't be stopped.

I'm an OTsimp in almost every case. So instead of posting biases, I'm gonna pull a funky and post the person who caught my eye first in the group. (If you asked me a couple of months back, I'd prolly say this person was my bias, but now it's an impossible decision. Forgive me -_-)

Ni-Ki (Enhypen) - Dimension Dilemma era Riki. Imagine my horror when I found out the boy I was simping about is literally younger than me. *Has war flashbacks to high school*

Jooyeon (Xdinary Heroes) - Happy death day Jooyeon. He gives me Hwang siblings vibes but he's sho cute in his own right. My baaaaby. UwU

I don't know if I have a type but I know I, MOSTLY, go for soft personality (Yongguk, Chan, Daesung, San (??) ), rappers (Yongguk, Binnie, Changkyun), producers (Guk, Chan, Changkyun), and leaders (Guk, Chan)

I think it's unconscious but they all have...like....really...nice body 😂😂 (i promise I don't choose them for that, my ult (guk) is a stick (but he works out nowadays).

Everyone around me say San is the strangest pick for my bias because "it doesn't fit my other biases" ? 😂 but knowing I'm EXTREMELY unloyal and have my eyes on Seonghwa-Wooyoung-Hongjoong-Mingi-Yunho i don't know if I can count on that.

technically i own a bunch since i never throw away the old ones but you’ll probably find me wearing my doc martens and now occasionally kickers (whenever i’m required to wear flat shoes i do have vans because they’re the comfiest shoes and try and find nice shoes in a size 42 or above in the women’s section (why are men’s shoes so boring????), vans has got you covered by sizing ridiculously big).

I don’t really have one although i’ll have to say passion for publication by anarbor, 0325 by skz, sicilienne by fauré (not rlly a song i know), intywidfal by mcr, gold medal ribbon by ptv and a night like this by the cure constitute a solid foundation of songs?

i dont really watch movies but maybe a monster in paris?

im not sure since i’ve honestly got neither the time nor patience to even think of being in a relationship so i guess i’ll say kim seungmin because being chronically a seungmin simp is half of my personnality

4 pillows and 4 other throw pillows under my feet to keep my legs elevated because bad blood circulation bb (dont ask me how i fit so much shit on a single bed, idk either)

on my side or sometimes twisted so my torso is on it’s back

my own thoughts ngl, its so hard to fall asleep with those running through my brain

i have a very peculiar relationship with archery because its a sport i’ve always wanted to do and that from the few times i’ve done it i’m actually decent at and am just realy disappointed with the fact i never got to exploit my full potential because i really do love it (same with other aiming things like i always get prices at fairs with the rifle stalls despite it being the only time i actually use them).

It's a comfort song that makes me feel at home in a way i want to cry. Chan gives me exactly those feelings. I would have also said daddy issues by the neighborhood, but, that's just officially the song assigned to him by stays atp. I also feel like Somewhere only we know fits him better in some way.

I'm not sure why i associate this song with him, i think it's just the overall sound and vibe.

I don't have an explanation. slow reverb it and it fits so well like wtf. In my mind both songs here link to him being an artist (as in painter, sketcher etc) and him saying he's a hopeless romantic. It's all vibes, I don't know how to explain it. Side note, i adore this song, i have a lot of good memories tied to it <3

its weird with long distance relationship, esp if u have severe trust issues and keep asking urself if ure good enough for them, if they might lose interest in u, or worse if I might lose interest in them— but the moment we start talking (after what weeks?) the whole conversation is me just heart eyes on the screen and smiling asf that I think ppl rlly could guess from a mile far that I looked like a puppy in love.

and they're not wrong. I'm genuinely happy to be with them and for them I deeply wish them the best and I have and always try to be the bestest friend and lover for them.

i have know this for long that as long as I can, I'll give my full support on them and give them the treatment they truly deserves. who knows what'll happen in the future: if we do stay together, or we break up again, or we stay friends, or something more— ik that I'll try to be there for them.

I've posted this on my insta yesterday but i also want to show my appreciation here—

To Dan, I know that the chance of me meeting you is nearly zero and I wouldn't get to thank him for creating ghostbusters & ray, but I still wanna say that, I thanked you decision to share your hyperfixation on the paranormals that inspires you to make this silly ghost movies because they now become my most favorite movie and I don't think any other can top these. Ray has just being the positive light in my life though I've only known you through the screens for two years and even then— he bring so much comfort and noted myself that I'm worth it. In ways I can't describe & deserving, thank you for making me felt loved and stay as my safe space in my down times.
