But like, for Steve/Bucky I feel like it’s the other way around bc Bucky grew up in a Jewish family whereas Steve didn’t and he and his ma seems to be closer descendants to Irish immigrants and also from a catholic rather than Jewish family, and I can see Sarah being kind of rebellish even if it was custom for them to be doing it, but tbh I don’t know for sure Steve’s family history precisely and who immigrated when and what was custom back in 20’ies American East Coast🙃

As for Steve and Bucky, I agree that it would be different for them, probably. I had to consult circumcision expert @paper-storm on this one because I couldn't remember the details, but apparently circumcision among Catholics wasn't common, whereas it was in Jewish circles. So it mostly depends on whether or not you headcanon Bucky as Jewish, which lots of people do, but not everyone. If you do, then Bucky was probably circumcised and Steve wasn't, and if you don't, then neither of them probably was!
