🗣️ Which cat is the biggest gossip in the clan?

Absolutely Mousethorn and Beechbriar! I mean, just look at this picture of them from when they were apprentices. They're definitely talking smack about some cat :b

The catch is, Beechbriar takes her position as a mediator very seriously and would never spread around rumors or sensitive information, so she only talks gossip with Mousethorn, who is sworn to secrecy. Now.. if the gossip originates from Mousethorn and not Beechbriar... her other siblings and a few of her close friends will also hear about it!

👑 Your leader and deputy disappear into thin air, who takes over?

If both Fawnstar and Alderfur go poof, Sanddapple would step in to lead the Clan. He's one of the senior warriors and as Fawnstar's mate he already kinda has a position of power, and the rest of the Clan would support him wholeheartedly. Sandstar would then choose Haybrook as his deputy, another cat that is a well respected senior warrior with plenty of experience and a cool head.

For me: 💘 Any cats you ship? Any non-canon / crackship / oddball pairs?

I ship Stinkbutt and Stumpy! They only have platonic feelings for each other in game, but I think they would make a really cute couple :3 I also ship a bunch of future couples.. but I will not spoil any :3c

This one I already answered previously, but I'll also say I am surprised Stumpy has been getting a lot more love as well. I can understand it though with what he's been through lately!

okie dokie! Heatherpaw is bold and oddly observant. he is the only one out of his litter who isn't ginger. his mentor was a suspected murderer at one point :]

i think his favourite prey would be rabbit!

he doesn't have any friends :[ he has a lot of respect for the older warriors, and likes to do kind things for them, but he isn't friends with anyone yet. he's too new to the clan i suppose, and his bold personality might put off some cats haha. for now, his best friend is his closest sibling, Sagepaw!

🌟 do they have any special powers or abilities?

okay so when i read this question i immediately thought of superpowers, which none of my cats have, but now this thought is planted in my brain and i have IDEAS. time for superpower cats in my clan!!!. but not Heatherpaw sadly. maybe if he develops more of a role, but for now he's just a super observant apprentice with a lot to learn and a life to craft for himself haha

🌷what are some of their quirks and other mannerisms?

oooh, what a fun question! well, heatherpaw was born as a loner in the wild with only his mother and siblings, so his entire way of life used to come from just his mother. she, Tumbleblaze, actually used to be a travelling healer, so i like to think that Heatherpaw helps so many older warriors because he observed / heard stories about what his mother did to help others. she's a healer in SpringClan as well, so he definitely still copies her example :]

🍀 what is a secret they’re hiding?

oooo... i would say his only secret is that he hates a cat called Houndroar, who is part of a family line who are notorious for turning traitor and leading attacks against the clan. Houndroar is only 15 moons old, and his own mentor was actually killed by his uncle in one said attack when he was an apprentice, so there's nothing specific that Houndroar could have done to make Heatherpaw angry at him, but Heatherpaw hates him nonetheless. i think, in his youthful ignorance, Heatherpaw doesn't understand that it isn't Houndroar's fault that he comes from that family. he has a bias against them. i also think Heatherpaw is quite proud of his own family, especially because of his strict-natured but incredible mother, so in his mind he's willing to put down other families who aren't as great as his, y'know? .... sorry for rambling so heavily gsgfhdjs

also, COOKIE MENTION!!! /silly, vpos. also ×2, i am sorry to tell you that Heatherpaw isn't a tortie! he's just a dark brown tabby — don't worry, it was just the lighting from where i took the picture on my phone haha. have some actual torties for compensation! :D

The incident?

(Since it's been a bit, The Incident is referred to in this post!)

Bearface, being an outsider, was never close with many clan cats. He originally joined LutumClan because of Tanglefern, and came across as standoffish and rude. As such, it was quite a surprise when he and Honeyspring became close friends, and Rootstar's final decision became all the more sour.

They had a nasty brawl outside the burrows, and Bearface has the scar to prove it.

Bat is a tricky one because I imagine him as a kid who, when asked what he wants to be when he grows up, changes his answer constantly.

I don't think healing is something he's interested in, and not just because I don't want all the disabled people being shoved in the doctor dungeon, (Lilac is plenty, and he chose it more just because of nessessity for the Kindred's survival)

Scouting is what he's thinking of currently, because it mostly involves being observant and remembering details, which Bat thinks he'd be good at c:

Tragically the Kindred doesn't have a "Bug Observer" or "Cool Rock Finder" role because Bat and Dart would be On It

Tree is indeed one of my personal favs, I adore them! The emojis you gave don’t line up with the questions you asked, which is fine! I’ll just answer the questions :3 send me another ask if you wanted to know about the emojis! (I think the first two are their feelings about outside groups and their family tree for example?)

Do they prefer a wide circle of friends? Or a few close ones? Who is their best friend?

Tree is a free soul; they like mingling with different cats and listening to their stories! However, true friends are something they cherish closely. Cloudthunder is considered to be their closest friend, and of course, their romantic interest! They seem fine enjoying her friendship at the moment. They also enjoy Shiverstep’s company - she’s gathered a lot of songs and stories from Clanmates, and they do like hearing them! They also enjoy spending time with their apprentice, Branchpaw. They have a feeling that Branchpaw may be questioning their gender, but they won’t push it - if Branchpaw approaches them seeking support, they’ll be happy to provide it.

What do their life goals look like?

Currently? Just live and learn! Tree was always a wanderer who fended for themselves, so learning to live in a group is a fascinating experience. There’s always vague goals floating in their head; they like the idea of mates and kits, but they very much live in the present!

What do they value the most?

Knowledge and experience! They love collecting various stories and gaining skills from other cats. After all, they learned about lemonweed and how to incapacitate Woodcrawlers from somewhere! If Tree were an elder, they would be “the cat that knows everything”, according to youngsters!

Favorite/least favorite clan chore?

Their favorite “chore” is actually joining med cats on herb patrols! They get to gain more knowledge on what certain herbs do, listen to their stories about StarClan, and they also get to see the landscape, so it’s a win all around. Cleaning bedding, though? They find it pointless. Cats have found Tree sleeping outright on dirt or grass outside instead of their own bed. They often tell apprentices not to bother cleaning theirs, but Iciclepool and Barleywave have told them about how sleeping on the floor can cause joint issues later, and not cleaning their bedding leaves it rife for bugs or mold. But man, they just really don’t care. They’re used to it. Dirt is dirt. It won’t kill them. What are they, five moons? Do they not know how to clean their own pelts? Amateurs, they cry jokingly.

Saplingpaw! ❤️ Which character does the audience seem to love that you weren’t expecting?

I didn't expect to get as much love for Saplingpaw as I've gotten in the recent past. When she first appeared in game she didn't have as many interesting things going on as some of her siblings, but now that she's shown up in the comic (I play very far ahead haha) I decided to show her off a bit more than initially planned, which has lead to her being a popular character, particularly after her growing friendship with her mentor Crowheart.

🌠 Are there any cats in your clan who don’t believe in StarClan?

Currently, there aren't any that fully don't believe in StarClan. Haresplash and Stumpy were always skeptical but have grown to accept the idea more as time goes on. Stumpy has believed in StarClan since adopting his kits. He sees them as an answer to his prayers and proof that something bigger does exist! I'd say Haresplash is still kinda on the fence though. He hasn't had any experiences that fully convince him yet.

That being said do you/ would you ever mess with the code and bring a cat back if their death didnt fit the story ect? Sorry if ur already answered this!

It really can be - esp the stuff that happens outside of patrols/in the moon events like, there's no way to control that! 😭

I probably would if it was an event - like if I send cats to fight a dog and one dies that's on me, but if I move on a moon and suddenly Cedar is dead with no build-up, I'd likely restart. I also tend to restart moons sometimes if the cats got too many OOC interactions in the relationships tab or if nothing happens twice in a row (or if TOO much is happening lol). I have no qualms about messing with the code of the game but I 100% am more likely to save the cats rather than hurt them bc I'm too soft and i love them all
