Started messy sketching this comic last night. I like to headcanon that not only can Andy see all the weird things that happen in the game, but Claus is either somewhat aware of it or can see it too (to some smaller extent)

And then I had the idea that maybe Andy and Claus comfort each other whenever they have one of these glitchy freak outs.

bc UGHHHH i have to imagine how it'd even happen right. andy and claus are just hanging out like usual and andy starts going " ummm... i've been having such a nice time being with you for so long it's so awesome ,:] and uhhh i wanted to ask you something right- " and andy like struggles to get it out due to nerves but claus REALLY doesn't mind and at points teases andy a little which gets andy off-track and like. claus KNOWS what's coming right but he still plays along and gets very overdramatic ( /silly ) when andy finally manages to pop the question. and i don't think andy proposes with a ring or anything nonono they make claus a friendship bracelet ( or rather engagement bracelet here ) bc 1. it's more practical compared to a ring given andy's well. a farmer and 2. it's more personal!!

and like when things start picking up steam planning-wise the entire farm gang's up in arms over it ( /pos ) because holy SHIT. holy FUCK andy and claus are getting MARRIED. like for REALS. like just ACTUALLY married. holy shit. they get margret to basically be the priest right. they hold it in front of the barn.

andy's all worried about the wedding being perfect- and claus is there every minute of it to remind andy that it doesn't need to be perfect. as long as andy's there, it's already perfect enough.

and when the day comes there's only so many people there. it's a very small wedding, just the farm gang, some of andy's family and the chapter 2 gang. maybe the ghosts too, who knows. the members of andy's family he's still in contact with show up. ( so his parents, some of his siblings, pierre bc i still think the pierre-andy cousins hc is really funny ) none of claus' family comes but like... do they even matter anymore?? they wouldn't want to come anyway and besides- this is about him and andy.

vows are such a mess, at least on andy's end, mostly due to how their emotions are running so high. claus has his perfectly memorized, but doesn't at ALL discredit andy for messing up. it's a big day for them, after all. andy still manages to get them out, but dammit, it takes a bit. not that anyone really minds.

the reception is just absolute silly fun. lots of smiles, tears, laughter, it's just a good time. speeches are made, and dances are shared, and it's just nice. it's just like the night they both confessed, with andy tripping over himself while they slow dance, and claus not even caring because holy shit. he just married andy. fuck. my god.

and by the end of it?? claus and andy are so damn tired they just go back to andy's place for the night and probably just fall asleep then and there. it's been a fun, yet long and emotional day for the two of them. they need their rest after all that, you know??

the morning after is kinda just them coming to terms with the fact it even happened. it really doesn't feel real. but it is and it's so strange. not in a bad way, not in the slightest. they're both just so... shocked that they made it this far in.
