I'm so happy to have been right about you and ao happy to have been able to share a moment discussing the uses for isopropyl alcohol as we both clocked each other. Feels so nice to see one of us out in the wild.

I admire your courage, using your voice training voice with customers. I hardly feel comfortable even being around dollarama customers, and you just hit them with the voice practice. It's so cool, and you're so awesome for not being too scared to try! I pass at a glance, but my voice gets so low when I'm outside, so I end up scaring people with it lol.

I knew when we got stuff off the shelf near each other at the grocery store, you were right there and recognized me. Shorter, softer, smaller. I saw you see me. I saw you not know how to react. I wanted you to see me.

idk who needs to hear this but surgery scars on someone's chest is not a way to "clock" a trans man. 1. transgender men aren't the only people who have top surgery. 2. keyhole/peri exists.

saw a theory that the SmokeStack twins were posing as one man in Chicago, which helped them get away with stealing from both sides. i'm poised to believe that because visually their clothing was very clearly of the two mobs. smoke was full irish— tweed, bowler hat. while stack had the full mafia look. yk italian leather shoes, fedora etc etc . like the details!!

i look abled, cis and straight-to-straight-people. i am not. don't assume.

i was ranting abt this w my wife last nite like. i think people have forgotten the whole “dont assume stuff about people based on their appearence” thing and that it also applies to people who are “straight-looking” “cis-looking” “normal-looking” etc. ultimately you dont know anything about how someone identifies or what their life is like unless they tell you, especially not at a glance. dont project your ideas onto strangers, its weird.

13th Hour

This one truly took so long to paint ;_; I've always loved paintings with lots of tiny hidden details but couldn't work on those very often because of my hand injury. But I decided to really indulge this time. Most of my paintings take 1-3 recording sessions but this one took 10 ahahaha

The character is Dante, a painter from my work in progress novel about artists titled 1000 Words Unframed. He's an eccentric one and likes to paint trompe l'oeil, aka illusions. Here he's painting a bunch of clocks onto his wall, but none of the clocks are accurate, some having 13 hours, one clock is a spiral, another is made of eyeballs lol. He is also a lover of cats, hence all the cat portraits and kitties hanging out. Here are some close ups of all the details!
