Lapis was snoring, her head leaning against the wall of the stairwell in the apartment building. She stirred when people walked up and down the stairs, but she’d glance up to check, see they weren’t him, and fall back asleep.

He wasn’t there when she arrived, and though it seemed logical at the time to wait for him, she was beginning to wonder if he’d even come back. Finally, she saw the familiar horns coming up the stairs.

Lapis jumped to her feet and tried to smile at him. It came off awkward, so she just decided to launch into it. Rip the bandage off and get it over with.

“Hey. Um, I’m not here to make fun of you or anything, so don’t worry.” She chuckled. “I’ve come to apologize.”

Wandering around a large city was difficult when you were only 12 inches tall. My Melody seemed to be taking it well though, all things considered. However, her parasol wasn’t working as it should’ve been, which was a cause for concern. All she could do at the moment was rely on the kindness of strangers and hope they’d be able to shed some light on this situation. It certainly didn’t seem like this was the human world either. There were a lot of monsters walking around!

But that also meant it would be completely fine if she introduced herself normally! She ran to catch up with one particular stranger, then tapped on his tail. “Excuse me mister monster! Where's this? It’s not the human world is it?”

Frieza’s presence had been unexpected, though the initial shock of seeing the tyrant again was soon replaced with a glare and a hand on the hilt of his weapon, “I don’t fear you Frieza, you’re welcome to talk all you want, but I’ll be sure to send you back to Hell where you belong.”

It had happened again. Something incredibly shiny had caught her attention, especially because it was moving through the city. But the most wicked form of deception had arisen and instead of something awesome and pretty like a giant amethyst, it was in fact a person. 

A pretty cool looking person even if they were a little small. But they had horns! That made up for it.

She’d been watching from the rooftops this time. But while she had marvellous sight she sorely lacked patience, before long she had hoped off and used her large wings to slow her descent before stopping a short distance in front of him.

“You!”

“You’ve got horns! Are you an Oni? Do you know Yuugi? Suika? Are you strong like them? You’re all shiny.”

Frieza is largely unchanged from his appearance in Dragon Ball Z... with the exception of the fact that he’s in a much cuter artstyle and has cat ears now. He’s a ruthless conqueror of planets, feared across the universe almost as much as the Nightmare Knight himself, who has set his fearsome eye on the quaint, happy little world of Dreamside.

In order to accomplish his goals, he sends his underlings the Ginyu Force to collect the seven Dra... I mean, the eight Disaster Stones, in order to summon the drag... the Nightmare Knight. He succeeds in this extremely easily, and all seemingly goes well for him...

Until he is abruptly struck by lightning on a clear day. The Nightmare Knight claims he had nothing to do with it.
