🍂 - What music does this oc like?

🪼 ; he doesnt really like listening to music that much. if hes on his own he prefers to just listen to the world as is OR occasionally local folk music. whilst technology exists in their world he much prefers live music.

🪲 ; they listen to anything possible. shoutout to heavier and alt music for sure but theyre also a sucker for some pop [ but only if they like the music artist as a person ]. generally theyre down for whatever and will attend random gigs.

🌈 - What does this oc like and dislike about themselves?

🐇 ; shes doesnt spend a lot of time thinking about herself. which sounds weird but her brain is too occupied by her wives and love of astral physics. lmao. but i think she likes her passion which she puts into everything (physically she likes her rabbit ears) but dislikes how it leads her to miss really important things and make mistakes without realising. shes very conscious of this fault so avoids interaction w people on a deeper level most of the time.

🌙 ; pitch for sure likes her tattoos. she thinks theyre cool and they remind her of home and their family, especially their sisters. i think she would struggle with fear though and hates how it hinders their ability to move on or do thinks they know would fulfill her.

🌳 - Does this oc collect anything?

🌟 ; she has unknowingly started collecting things like brightly coloured gel pens and stationary. things which she can decorate or sketch or draw with, but theyre usually very neon. stuff she wasnt able to get back home but can collect now.

❄ - What is this oc's favorite and least favorite food?

🦝 ; she loves literally anything her mum makes. any meal. she doesnt care, shes not particularly picky. her favourite fruits are mangoes tho. dislike... kiwis. she cant explain why. she just hates them. she will eat practically anything else though.

🖌 ; this is actually very hard... design wise its her face. i love drawing her eyes and little mole its very fun. otherwise i really like how she is a painter and imagining all the things she creates. oh and her music taste her music taste is based :)

Ashton had a small tub of paint in his hand, his eyes searching you, a smile in the corner of his mouth. You nodded, pulling your hair back as he leaned closer, softly smoothing the paint over your cheek. The festival around you was loud and joyous, you and your friends sitting under a tree on blankets as you had a picnic and painting each other's faces for the fun of it.

He painted dots and lines over your cheek, swirls and intricate symbols onto your shoulder and down on your arm, switching between colours until he was happy with his finished art.

"Can I do your face too?" you asked once he put the paint down, and for a moment he hesitated - Ashton was a mystery to you, never knowing what mood you found him in, if he was open for silly things that day or if he found them too childish. A few moments later he held out the black and white paint tubs to you, a pink tint colouring his cheeks.

"But only for you."

Current fandom: Gallavich & First fandom i drew for & shared my art is Gallavich but probably first fandom was maybe soul eater

6. Have you ever received hate on any art?

Not hate but a complaint on my gallacrafts for theme 11 I'm fucking gay. I got an anon asking why I made the lesbian flag & put the phrase I'm fucking gay & i that should have just done lesbian although I had actually made both but it was on the part 2 bc i had a limit of 10 pictures.

7. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t drawn for yet but want to?

Maybe Spirk or Soul x Maka from Soul Eater

8. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Gallavich most definitely, they hit all my likes in a ship plus they're canon & married to boot! #spoiled 😆

Yeah I started getting back into drawing with makinng flowers for mutual's birthday 🥰 I've also made little mascots of baby animals for my niece's baby shower

10. What’s the an art piece you’ve drawn that came out completely differently than you expected?

Probably the GGE2022 for Macy. I had some other ideas. Also their poses were gonna be different like it was either the back of them looking at snow or tumbled into the snow on top of an ny roof top but still not the best at figure drawing so i just did the best of my abilities 😄

Faces, hair, blushing & colouring maybe?

17. What’s your favourite art piece you’ve drawn?

I would say my good omens au I simply adorethe little details I put into the drawing. I referenced Mickey's outfit in Ian's delete scene dream. Ian's outfit is 7x10 just in darker colours. I loved being able to create Ian's ombre eyes by colour picking Cameron's hazel ones. Ian's hair shading. The heart wings & being able to creat the wing texture on the angel wing. AND their signature shows with the timberland & bright read air forces!!! I had such a fun time drawing this 🥰 Also it was my 100,000 post lol

18. What is one thing you’d like to tell people about your art that they might not know?

My gallavich art is the first time I've been colouring my drawings. When I drew a lot in high school I would just do the line art & was too hesitant to colour them.

19. What inspires or motivates you to create for fandom?

Definitely you guys! Being able to make you guys smile. As well as your creations & the creating events 💕🖌

I do like to crawl up into a hunched ball on the lounge couch or my bed (which should stop bad for posture lol) Then I do enjoy playing YouTube video essays about internet history/horror games I'd never play or movie reactions.

Also, I am more of an artist who researches & and works with many references. I got a whole lotta unclosed tabs of Ian & Mickey, body poses & clothes that i forgot to close lol.

Of course! Fun fact: I was supposed to get married in November of 2020 but then covid happened. NOW we’re trying to save up on our own because our families keep trying to take over. Still want a Fall wedding though 🫶🏼

I love it! When I was younger I hated it, I have no idea why.

My mom loves reading the Bible, Saint books, and Angel books. She told me she always loved the archangel Gabriel, so there you have it! She also said she liked the nickname Gaby.

Graduated college in 2020. Never had a graduation ceremony or anything. Thanks COVID.

🍄 - Do you have/want any piercings?

I’m Latina so you already know my ears have been pierced since I was 4 months old. Then when I was 17 I got my bellybutton pierced. Idk why but I did want to get my nips pierced lmao but not anymore. Sorry that might have been tmi.

👀 - What colour are your eyes?

Dark brown. They almost look black but in the sunlight you can see the brown come out.

Just straight down. I never really do anything with my hair unless I’m going out to a special occasion. My hair is also naturally straight so I’ll just wash it, brush it, and go.

🥂 - Have you ever drank underage?

Unfortunately I did succumb to peer pressure with this one. Although I did try (and throw it up) beer in high school, my freaking DAD gave me beer in my purple and yellow SIPPY-CUP when I was like five. Then you know, drinking in college. It was a “dry campus” even if you were 21+ and everyone hated that.

Again, unfortunately. I’ve only blacked out twice though.

😱 - What’s your biggest fear?

Don’t come for me… but I genuinely don’t have one. There are things I don’t necessarily like, but not to the point that I’m genuinely afraid and can’t function around it.

Too cold. I absolutely HATE being hot. It’s easier to warm up if I’m cold too.

Sunny with a light breeze. Nothing too hot and not cold enough to need a jacket. (I freaking hate jackets btw)

💥Do you prefer digital or traditional?

Given the fact that my art is usually both, that’s a tricky one! I like traditional because a physical pencil on physical paper feels really neat and is easier to control, but I love digital colouring, layering, and shading tools. Ultimately, I’d say digital!

⚡️Who are some artists that have influenced you?

I just had a mental breakdown of some sort when trying to answer this-

I used to watch a ton of LavenderTowne’s videos on YouTube when I was starting out, and I still do to some extent. Speedythecat also impacted a lot about my art and has a particularly helpful shading tutorial that was a large contributing factor to the way I shade, even though my method is certainly not identical. There’s like forty other artists I could list off but this is already too long lol

🖌Do you create in one sitting or spread it out over a longer period of time?

Really depends on the piece, but I usually spread it out over a few days to a week (or two weeks!).

🌿What piece of advice would you give your younger/less experienced self in regards to your art?

Don’t constantly compare yourself to people who are way ahead of you in the artistic game. Keep working to get there and learn from their art, but don’t constantly stare at the gap between you and them. Honestly, I still need to keep telling myself this now.

💕Do you have a favorite character to draw?

Definitely Lloyd! Any version of him!

🎧What do you listen to when you create, if anything?

Either something random on Spotify (my musical taste is all over the place), or my obsessively large collection of Ninjago soundtrack audio files. :’)

✨What things inspire your art?

Looking at the world around me, shading, people, and nature is always super inspiring for me and where I observe a lot of things I incorporate into art, even though I don’t draw realism. Also the random drawings I come across all the time that have features I really like!

🎨Describe your creating process?

First I draw something with mechanics pencil on paper. Then, if I’m not feeling lazy, I’ll use my computer as a light table and create a more refined version by tracing it onto a new paper. Then I take a picture, edit it so it’s just stark black and white (don’t have a scanner), and then add flat colouring via Autodesk Sketchbook on my phone with my fingers. Then I spend way too much time shading, shading, and shading some more until I’m satisfied with how it looks. Specifics of shading methods vary but always include a Hard Light layer as the base for the lights and darks and Soft Glow + an additional Hard Light layer creating more contrast as needed. Then additional layers are slapped on top to help out or add a little texture or something.

🍜Do you like to snack while you create? If so, what is your favorite snack?

I actually don’t snack often due to health conditions, but, err, does coffee count? I drink too much coffee and tea, though I usually keep it decaf as to not become too much of a chaotic spaz-

🍊Your strengths as an artist?

Ashdhdbf forcing me to focus on the good things about my art XD I’d say shading and colour theory, mostly? They’re both what people often point out about my art, and they’re where I feel most confident :D

📝How would you describe your style?

Anime-influenced style with sketchy-looking lines and minimal cell-shading, I suppose :)

☕️What is something about your art that you think is underrated/goes unnoticed?

I don’t feel confident enough to say there’s anything worthwhile that goes unnoticed… I guess the gradual changes in style and tactics over time? I feel there’s a noticeable difference between several older drawings and several newer drawings I’ve posted. I dunno.
