Clones + Alcohol + Soft Things = Peak Chaos, Peak Comfort, and Peak Cuddling

🍻 Setting: Cloneboys, Booze & Bad Ideas

It starts with a few drinks. Just a “friendly battalion mixer.”

Zee is technically home, in her apartment, reading. The clones? Half a floor away, loudly debating something about Fives being a “blanket thief and dignity criminal.”

Then Jesse yells: “YOU KNOW WHAT WE NEED? A CUDDLE FORT.”

Fives, already tipsy and sitting on Wolffe’s shoulders: “YES. BRING THE FLUFF.”

☁️ Operation: Cuddle Cloud

Drunken coordination ensues. Someone has the genius idea to move it all into Zee’s apartment.

Why?

Because she has the best-smelling blankets, the coziest floor rug, and someone (Tech) insists her air filtration unit keeps “optimal cuddle pile oxygen saturation.”

They don’t knock. They bust in like polite chaos.

Rex: “Zee. Hi. Hello. We’re commandeering your floor for… morale.”

Tup (already halfway through dragging her duvet off her bed): “It’s an emotional support mission.”

She just blinks at them in silence as tactical cuddling equipment floods in.

Zee: “…I was going to read.”

Dogma, setting down an armful of decorative pillows: “You can read in the pile.”

Wrecker: “The pile needs you.”

🧸 The Construction Phase

Cody folds towels with military precision.

Fives has stolen her entire couch’s worth of cushions and is using them to build a “King’s Throne of Snuggle.”

Kix makes a “recovery zone” full of squish and soft music.

Wolffe grumbles but tucks her in with one of her own blankets.

Fox glares at anyone who tries to take the fancy throw (“Zee likes that one, no one sheds on it.”)

Echo and Jesse are in charge of fairy lights and warmth management.

Tech builds a thermal map of the cuddle pile to optimize snuggle zones.

Tup, of course, has become a cuddle koala, quietly waiting for Zee to come sit so he can drape over her like moss.

Boil: “This is not how military housing was meant to be used.”

Waxer: “Shut up, this is morale infrastructure.”

🛌 The Cuddle Pile, Completed

It’s massive. Glorious. A sea of warmth and arms and half-asleep boys.

Zee is somehow in the center. How? Who knows. She’s wearing one of Fives’ oversized hoodies. A clone she can’t identify is using her thigh as a pillow. Another is curled up at her feet. Someone’s hand is tangled with hers. Tup is on the other side of her, half-asleep, mumbling “good idea… good… soft…”

Rex: “No one tell Command.”

Fives: “If you tell Command, tell them we won the war with snuggles.”

Kix: “This counts as therapy.”

Wrecker: snoring softly, hugging his Lula

Tech: “You’re all so unoptimized.”

Zee: “…don’t move. I’m comfy.”

💤 Morning After

Zee wakes up first. There are at least twelve clones in her apartment. Someone’s drooling. Kix is still half-awake, trying to apologize for the intrusion and thank her for being soft, kind, and warm.

Zee, smiling softly: “It’s okay. Stay. Just five more minutes.”

But they stay much longer.

Because in the cuddle pile, in the warm mess of exhausted soldiers and accidental love, it’s safe. It’s soft. It’s human.

Scenario 2: Clone Nesting

Let’s set the scene…

🌞 Setting: Lazy Weekend Afternoon

Zee’s apartment. Sunlight filters through gauzy curtains. A half-eaten pastry box sits on the kitchen counter. Someone (Jesse) has commandeered her datapad to start playing The Princess Bride on loop.

Outside? Loud. Inside? Cozy.

Inside the building? Dangerously peaceful. Which means the clones are up to something.

🧠 It Starts with a Plan (™)

They’re all just hanging out. Nothing suspicious. Some sitting on the floor, some draped on furniture. But the mood is too chill, too casual, and suddenly Rex says: “We should build a nest.”

Zee raises an eyebrow.

Fives, instantly: “I’m so in.”

Fox, already rolling up his sleeves like a dad at a BBQ: “Finally, something with purpose.”

No one questions it. Within minutes, nest mode has activated.

🔨 Operation: Soft Siege

It’s strategic. Surgical. Sober. And somehow even more intense than the drunk version.

Tech draws up schematics. (“Zee’s floor plan allows for a triple-layered insulation buffer with natural snuggle convection.”)

Wolffe guards the doorway like it’s a war zone: “Shoes off or stay out.”

Cody has built a tunnel system through the blankets and labeled them.

Echo and Jesse have made a Pillow Citadel. It has a flag. The flag is a sock.

Boil and Waxer are in charge of fluff redistribution.

Tup is carefully folding Zee’s hoodie for her to wear (“It’s Snuggle Regulation. You need to comply.”)

Zee, standing in the middle of the chaos with a cup of tea and no control over her life: “You’re all absolutely feral.”

Jesse: “We call it enriched bonding.”

Tup: “It’s therapeutic.”

Kix: “It is therapeutic.”

Fox: “It’s required.”

🛌 The Great Civilian Nest

It’s majestic. Architectural. Nearly sacred. Made entirely of Zee’s blankets, clone-issued sleeping bags, some couch cushions, her robe, and two stuffed animals she did not consent to share (Fives gave them ranks. They’re now General Mr. Snuggles and Commander Fluffbucket).

Zee: “I’m supposed to be writing.”

Tech, from the depths of the pile: “Studies show civilians are 83% more productive after full clone-nest immersion.”

Cody: “Get in the pile, Zee.”

Kix: “Doctor’s orders.”

🤍 The Nest Rules

1. No datapads allowed (except to play movies or lo-fi chill beats).

2. Zee gets the center (she’s the glue, according to Rex).

3. Anyone snoring too loud gets gently shushed with a sock.

4. Fives is on probation for excessive feet-to-face incidents.

💤 What Happens Inside the Nest

Jesse plays with Zee’s hair.

Rex leans against her back like he always does when he’s tired but won’t admit it.

Fox drapes an arm around her feet and acts like he’s guarding treasure.

Wrecker gets too warm and starfishes across four people before flopping back into the pile like a good boy.

Tup nestles into her side and hums the clone lullaby under his breath.

Zee tries to fight it. For maybe twenty minutes.

Then she melts. Because they’re safe. They’re warm. They’re hers.

And they’re sober. That’s the dangerous part.

This is intentional affection. Quiet, real, and bone-deep.

✨ Final Scene

The holo plays something sappy. Outside, traffic drones. Inside, everything’s soft.

Zee, mumbling into Kix’s shoulder: “You’re all insane.”

Kix: “And you love us.”

Zee: snorts “Unfortunately.”

Someone’s already asleep. Someone else murmurs a sleepy, “’Night, Zee.”

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic

I didn't go into this expecting much, because you can almost never tell if an isekai is going to be good or not (and all the subjectivity that comes with the term 'good'.)

This looks like it's gonna be hella fun.

Overall Score so far: 7.5/10

The summoning to another world as "Heros" to defeat the "Demon King" is your standard isekai plot. It's not original, but it's a good basis for a story, if that's not all there is to the premise. I'm looking forward to how this will get it's own unique twist.

The initial vibes I was getting from it were a mix of

a bad reminiscence of the beginning of "Rise of the Shield Hero" where I was worried that healing magic would be considered a bad or weak ability, and our main character Usato would be looked down on. AND

The great impression of "Wow, I want the Student President Inumaki and Vice President Kazuki to become a poly ship with Usato." I'm just gonna head cannon that the whole way though, thank you very much, they have great vibes together!

I'm thankful the first didn't come to pass, and that the second is going to be the basis for fanfic I look for in the future lol. But also, I hope the Demon King is fun, and that the fox girl doesn't bring any Loli vibes into this.

The green-haired Rose, a healing magic user who is going to train our intrepid healing hero, is the only Voice Actor that popped out at me. Which makes sense, as going through the other voices, it's a lot of small time or up and coming VAs! They're all doing a fantastic job though.

But Rose.

For a second I thought it was the Headmaster from Season 2 of Ancient Magus Bride, as she have a similar low and husky voice. But no, we have Tanaka, Atsuko - The voice of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, and where I recognized her from, Hanami from Jujutsu Kaisen!!! She has a very long record of supporting roles in so many anime, and I really like her voice, so I'm glad I get to listen to it here~

Episode 1 Spoilers Below!

Youve got your standard typical kid who is So Normal, and you have the Amazing and Loved By Everyone Student Body Council members, who everyone thinks are dating, and are just So Pretty and Smart and Good At All The Things.

I love how they are both interested in Usato for treating them like normal people, because as we find out, they are just typical high school students. And while they are not actually dating, just spend a lot of time together, I could absolutely peg these two as swingers looking for a third member, and that's all just delusions on my part hahahaha.

Inumaki-sempai, the Student President, is a secret Chu-Ni-Byo, or one of those edgelord kids doing the naruto run and unironically thinks they have special powers to move things with their eyes. It's a phase everyone goes through, even if they won't admit it. But she is SO HYPE to be in an isekai, and I'm right there with her. I would totally react the same way.

And of course, to feed her Chunibyo tendancies, which are immediately spotted by Usato whose image of her is shattered (good, please see her as human), she's gained the power of Lightning Magic. All she needs now is an eye patch and some bandages on her hand, along with manical laughter.

Kazuki, her second in command, seems like a typical Popular Guy, but I love that when he's getting heated over their nonconsensual summoning (despite Inumaki getting hyped in the backgroun), Usato stepping in to calm him down and point out that there is no use getting worked up, is such a good base jumping point for where things will go from here. He's not a particularly interesting character yet, but he's a good guy who wants to protect those around him. It makes sense that he gets Light Magic.

I love that Kazuki has NO IDEA what an Isekai is, and is like - "Light magic... I can blind people I guess???" Has he never even played Dragon Quest? lmao

Usato of course, gets something different, and everyone flips out. He then stops being able to read the room and puts himself in his own situation by mentioning as such in front of Rose, despite the king and magic nun trying to dissuade her from finding out. He's a Super Duper Rare Healing Magic user, because of course he is. He's Protag-kun. But it's fun to see the "tag along" who DIDN'T HEAR THE HERO BELLS WHEN SUMMONED get such a unique skill.

Bless this sweetheart. I hope they can become an awesome trio.

I can't wait to watch episode 2, and see if we get some actual twisted ways to use healing magic to fight.

My hopes for how Healing Magic can be used "incorrectly"

up someone's internal organs with a punch

be able to manipulate their blood or body water content to kill, OR

just toughen this kid up into a fighter who can heal all the damage he takes and turn him into a tank rather than just a support. ZOMBIE FIGHTING STYLE

Either way, I'm gonna enjoy this one!!

It just occurred to me that factoring in how much we see Shock Troopers at the beginning of the bad batch with Tarkin, only to see them entirely phased out by TKs by the season 2 finale, most likely means that they were some of the first clones to be retired.

Really, the Coruscant guard are a fascinating group. Like for one, they are more or less the best example of a clone legion with a Sith Lord as it’s “Jedi general”. And good god does it show. Just as the 501st got Anakin’s disregard for protocol and independence, the guard got Palpatine at his most concentrated. What little we see of them on the home front in TCW is riot suppression, prison guarding, Ahsoka, and, well, Fives.

If anything rubbed off from Palpatine, it’s his authoritarian beliefs. He doesn’t snuff out any trace of individuality, as we can see primarily in command staff like Fox and Thire, but they are the antithesis of the 501st in that they effectively are “a bunch of unthinking droids”.

Any deviation, anything other than unthinking obedience, would be eradicated, or more likely, never manifest in the first place.

Which is in a way the ultimate cruelty of the empire. The men that slowly molded Coruscant into the Imperial capital Palpatine envisioned, who executed rioters, conducted raids on innocent civilians, and quelled dissent across the galactic city. Those men, without question or complaint, were quietly retired. Left not understanding the harm they had done, were made to do, just tossed aside by a regime that never cared about them or saw them as anything more than assets.

Maybe it’s fitting then that the guard never got a numerical designation as a unit. Palpatine never saw them as a military unit. Of course he didn’t. They were a hit squad, a taste of what the Empire would eventually be, a prototype. And prototypes never get designations of their own.

It was during this time of great adversity and great growth that I wrote TGIF Today God Is First and also birthed many of the things I am doing today. During this season, I discovered a spiritual truth about how most believers experience three distinct phases of their growth toward obedience in their Christian walks. When we first begin our spiritual journey we often make decisions from convenience. Often, we decide what the outcome is that we want and then make decisions based on the perceived outcome. If it is a positive outcome, then we will make an obedient decision. I call this outcome-based obedience. However, God desires that each of us live an Obedience-based life. In order to transition us from an outcome-based process to an obedience-based process, he will bring a crisis into our lives. This crisis is designed to create pain which motivates us to seek Him to alleviate the pain. We have all heard of "fox-hole" Christianity. There is place of obedience for everyone! However, this is not where God desires us to remain. Ultimately, God desires us to live a life of obedience and intimacy rooted in conviction. We obey His commands from a heart of love and devotion. During the crisis phase we discover the personal love of God in our lives which we had never experienced before. Most of us will get to this phase of our walk with God by first living a life of convenience, then we will go through the crisis that will them lead us into an intimate love relationship with God. The Christian life can be summed up in one word—love. God’s desire for each of us is to know Him intimately and to love Him with all of our heart. Have you told your Heavenly Father you love Him today?

Gentle giant with beautiful voice. Almost getting too bulky for his already advanced Phase-2 armor and gear (too much heavy stuff dragging) Happy if somebody asks him to sing.

Slowly tattooing his whole body with what he experienced, patterns of cultures he visited and what‘s important to him.

Likes to do the puppy eyes to make his brothers to do what he wants, but in flirtation mode also showing hints of a dark side.

Tinkering handy little bombs for battle in his freetime, humming and singing with his beautiful voice almost innocently…

… but unlocking them in battle with a tilted head, wicked grin, a dark glance, whispering: „And… bam.“ 💀

Graduated Commanders in their new Phase 2 kits!! Alpha-17 is a very proud big brother (no matter how small the smile). 🥺💕💖

(No one listen. The CG later store all kinds of beverages and snacks inside Thorn’s chest fridge. Thorn just casually opens his chest and pulls out muchies like it’s nothing. For the most part he doesn’t mind being a portable fridge but dislikes when vod get midnight cravings and start pawing him up at night while he’s trying to sleep)

Inspired by that scene in The Mandalorian where Fennec was opening her stomach cybernetics. I thought it looked like she was opening a fridge... ^_^;;

So these aren't officially outlines but here are my thoughts I had for each of them and, as promised, the Ahsoka x reader playlist (it's only a start, and still need a cover, but I already love the songs I put down lol)

Ahsoka x inquisitor reader:

Ahsoka and reader trained together as younglings and we're close even as Padawans during the war. And reader was supportive of Ahsoka's decision to leave the order, even expressing that she wished she could too.

Reader had just been promoted to Knight not long before order 66 and managed to survive, she eas in the run for about seven years before the inquisitors tracked her down, intent on making her into one of them

When Ahsoka shows to be a thorn in their side again during rebels reader is tasked with handling her given their history

Ahsoka is determined to bring her out of the darkness and save her. Angst, buried feelings, and more angst abound lol

Thorn x Reader

This was born purely out of the love for him that you gave me, I day dream about him all the time because of you Sev omg

Anyway, reader was originally from a planet that was ruled by separatists and worked for one of their leaders, however, once she saw the cruelty of the separatists and how they used her inventions to spread tyranny she wanted to defect.

She was fearful of what her leader would do to her family if she betrayed him so she agreed to help the republic only if they protected her family.

This leads the reader to inventing things for the war effort (like the improved phase 2 armor for the clones 👀) but unfortunately she was right to assume she and her family would be in danger because the man she worked for puts a heavy bounty on her head.

This is where Thorn comes in. Fox assigns him to be her bodyguard when she's not working, to guard her while she's at home (*wink wink* the most intimate setting).

The two quickly become close, reader is drawn to Thorns easy going and sweet nature under all his formalities, and Thorn loves her dedication and integrity and how kriffing pretty and vulnerable she is around him

Just, you know, all the bodyguard romance feels!

This is much more of a baby of an idea lol

It's basically just: reader helps Rex and his men on their missions, all the boys become a little infatuated with her. Lots of blushy Rex, flirty Gregor, tender Echo, and possessive Wolffe (since I still headcanon Wolffe as Rex's inside man and that he'll join the team eventually)

Also maybe had the idea that the reader might be Riyo's sister? But that's not really here or there lol

This is also just me fulfill my need for a series of Rex and his crew fighting the empire and saving clones 😅
