hm in all honesty well. you saw the DMs i sent you at like 2am yesterday and i think they are representative of my general feelings. as a summary for anyone else reading, those messages were something like "oh my god they literally invented love and free will cas broke the entire universe because his love was so fucking cosmic and he was SOOO in love and they are EVERYTHING... too bad dean sucks but who am i to question cas especially if dean made cas laugh once? wait i just remembered that time dean was mean to cas i'm gonna kill him"

i think. as someone with almost 400 destiel bookmarks in my ao3 i have no leg to stand on regarding this ship but i will say i only like it in very particular ways (adult jack, angel cas, cas will ALWAYS pick jack over dean, no one around them is a shipper and sam has his own motivations) and am rabidly on cas's side (and the fact that i even view this relationship as one with Sides probably says something) in a way that probably completely ignores any of the flaws in their relationship that are probably actually cas's fault. but ultimately i DO want to see dean become better and heal and repair his relationships with jack and sam and cas, and i want him to be the man cas thinks he is and they make the most sense as endgame to me and they make me scream and cry more than any other ship i can recall. i love destiel i hate destiel yes no <3 maybe
