Jack's love language is gift giving and physical touch. He kicks his feet in the air at the thought of kissing Alex like some squealing teen girl. But of course, he acts nonchalant about it, gotta keep your cool

My Jack is like a Disney princess. He can sing and talk to animals. Idk. I thought it would be funny if he would just occasionally get into arguments with random family pets. Dogs just barking up a storm about how he needs to get his striped ass out of their house while Jack just cusses them out. Also, with him being more of a demon, he can also possess people's bodies along with talking to them from inside their heads.

Jack's an old man, and he LOVES watching action films. He's like a lil kid at heart, and usually, when Willie comes by, they both watch Transformers together on Alex's TV while she's at work.

For someone who has been starving since the 1800s, he sure is a picky eater. He doesn't like tomatoes unless they're cooked, doesn't like pickles, and don't think about trying to sneak some green beans into his stew, he'll pick em out. That's just the tip of the iceberg, Alex is having to learn, and she's half tempted to strangle him at times.

He's a hand full but you gotta hand it to him he's willing to change for her, but the fear of losing her is still in the back of his mind. He also likes to annoy her if she's not paying attention to him, just the look on her face no matter how threatening she's trys to be he's just gigging away cause "oh she's just soooo cute~".

Hoo boy. There's been a lot over the last couple days. Sorry again for the delays crew.. and thank you so much for all the kindness and love you've been sending to me and my dad.

I just wanted to say tonight that it's been so damn lovely seeing everyone happy again. Sure there's been some conjecture too as there always will be with big fan events, but for the most part-- the pure amount of joy and fun that came out of Babe Day and the S2 Finale Anniversary was something that recharged my tired heart with love. Especially with David, Alex, Samba, and everyone else who joined into the mix answering questions or sharing BTS. The fandom feels electric and alive, and I hope we still stay that way going forward until we inevitably hear about S3 (I'm manifesting, you can't stop me!). I truly hope your week is filled of fun, and joy, and love and that you get some much needed rest. Take care Crew <3 Thinking of you.

Part 2! of my fic Dream Walker

Once again, I have a disclaimer that this isn't a y/n fic but a world building one for my au "It Stalks."

Waking up back in my bed was a relief for sure I thought glancing over at my phone it reading the time 6:00am, though I wished I could get more sleep Hehe….ehh…collecting the motivation, I finally throw my covers off and begin my day with a nice hot shower. I enjoyed getting up earlier. It allowed me to enjoy the simple things of not having to share the bathroom with my little brother. Yep, no fighting over who got to use the toilet first or who got the last bit of cereal. It was great.

Getting out I dried my hair and threw on my usual outfit of jeans, shirt and boots, my style hasn't changed much at all over the years, I just don't like standing out too much yknow? Besides, nothing beats comfort. Leaving the bathroom, I strolled over to my brother's door and gave it a “slight” knock.

*THUD

*THUD

*THUD

At the last knock, it sounded like something fell to the floor as I heard my brother start to yell from inside his room.

“He's up” I smiled to myself, walking over to the kitchen to start on breakfast. It wasn't long before I heard the rhythm of small angry feet stomp towards me.

“What was all that for!”

“Just making sure that you're up as per mom's request.”

Being the older sibling to my much younger 12 year old brother means that I gotta keep him in his place. It's my duty, after all, to annoy the annoying. Besides, he doesn't get much of a say in things after he's been caught skipping school.

After a short car ride of moody glares from my brother Zachary, I dropped him off at the front door of his school.

“Now remember, mom said she won't be home till sometime before dinner, so I'm gonna have to take you to work with me tonight.”

“Can I just go home and wait there?”

“No you're grounded still, and I'm being punished by having to babysit you to make sure you get your homework done.”

“It's just one F it's not even that big of a deal, Alex!”

“ok buddy”.

One last final show of sass from Zachary, as he rolls his eyes, and walks away towards the front door of the school. He's not a bad kid he’s just under the influence of bad friends. I know I give him shit alot but he needs to understand that there are consequences to his actions and I don't want to end up seeing my baby brother end up in some ditch due to bad people worming their ways into his life.

Hearing the bell ring reminded me that I also have class to get to. I switch on my favorite playlist and speed my way over to the other side of town.

The parking lot was full but I was able to find a spot near the bleachers at the other end of the football field. Grabbing my bags I hear a familiar voice call out to me from a distance. Looking up I see my friend Bernie running up to me.

“There you are, and I thought I was gonna be lonely today!” she said, jogging over to me.

“oh hi Bernie, how ar-” before i could protest against it, she picked me up and squeezed me.

“hmmm not too bad, but now it's going great since you're here!” She responded, releasing me from her bear hug. “Now I don't have to sit alone or try to socialize with other people”. She remarked, pinning her curly blond hair back up into a ponytail. Pulling the baby hairs back down to frame her face.

Bernie’s been a friend of mine since my freshman year of college. She's just kinda stuck to me after the first day, saying that I just had a sad aura to me and that everyone deserves at least someone to talk to. 22 and a buoyant personality, she could get along with a feral raccon if you let her. But like anyone she does have her qurks of being annoying at times and never fully grasping the thought of person space but I gotta hand it to her, she was the only one who would put up with me even in my hours of being hard headed.

We're the black cat and Labrador kinda of friendship.

“You can't make mistakes unless you take chances. Regrets are the only thing that'll haunt you when you're older”. That quote from her our first year really had stuck with me. At the time, I was still recovering from the incident at my old job when she came around. My mom wanted me to take some time off from school, but I'm glad I went back. I just felt like a turtle, too scared to come out of my shell when she came and helped pull me out.

Looking at the time, we grab our stuff and decide to tour around the halls of the school to pass time and chat for a little bit before the bell. Strolling into the grand hallway, we make our way past the news board, and Bernie slows down to look at it. Turning my head, I look over to find her staring at the missing persons bulletin and how big it's gotten from just summer alone. Her head pointed to look at one with a somewhat familiar face on it. Her eyes were somber looking at the man in that photo, but all I could do was hold her hand and guide her forward.

The news won't cover any more missing person reports, and the police will only do so much if you don't have money to bride them with. The government won't fund anymore of The Foundation’s research to push back the flood of “Lurkers”. Less the people know about anything, the better. Oh, what a great country we live in. What a joke….

The day went by slowly, and we were finally let out for lunch. I grabbed myself something small from the cafeteria and found Bernie sitting in our usual spot near the library. Taking a seat next to her, I found her going through her phone as she was trying to search for something.

“Whatcha doing?... I hope you're not gonna ignore me by being on your phone”...

“Do you happen to know anything more about that guy?...Maybe if he had Facebook….” Bernie questioned.

“...The guy from the board?...”

She flickered her eyes up to me, then back on her phone.

“Yes…”

Never have I seen her so determined to search up on somebody other than the time she took a whole week to find the other matching earrings in her room, let alone a guy like him…. seeing him walk exhausted through the halls carrying his camera around, I don't think anyone ever asked what he was talking photos of. Seemed creepy to me, but Bernie would give him puppy eyes whenever he was near. He sorta just disappeared one day, and no one, not even a parent, came looking for him. The school only had his report put up when one of the cafeteria workers noticed him missing. William Grossman 26 this year and, like many, will probably never be seen again….

Another short one, but it's either I post small ones regularly or I make a big one and stress about it longer trying to meet a deadline. Anyway, I want to call it my FanFic Friday so I have a set date to post about my fic, and it'll also give me time to draw/think

alex and any of her brothers from 9x19 because alex is already a really good sam mirror but add in the family that she escaped from and everything just slots into place beautifully

michelle and corbin from red meat are perhaps the ultimate later seasons samndean mirrors. love seeing corbin take care of his wife and kill for her as dean takes care of sam and kills (himself) for her. the roles

amara and chuck because ap's posts about the four of them really rocked my world. the whole thing with chuck being "light" and "good" while amara is "darkness" and "bad" conjures up memories of dean being the righteous man (advocating for knife murder in s4, nearly killing sam) while sam is the evil evil evil guy who is inherently evil (trying to do less knife murder in s4). also really good when you consider what they do with chuck in the really late seasons

This list mostly includes the characters I wrote with actual names, or other significant figures. Debunking conspiracy theories takes time away from recovery efforts

As rescue work continues and authorities try to separate fact from fiction, the conspiracy theories are not helping. Elected leaders from both parties have had to set the record straight and urge people not to give into fear and rumor.

“If everyone could maybe please put aside the hate for a bit and pitch in to help, that would be great,” posted Glenn Jacobs, the retired professional wrestler known as Kane, who is now the Republican mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Jacobs’ post was intended to rebut rumors that workers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency were seizing relief supplies from private citizens.

Many of the conspiracy theories focus on hard-hit North Carolina, a state key to winning the White House. Rumors circulated that FEMA was raiding storm donations and withholding body bags, forcing local hospitals to stack the bodies of victims. One claim suggested federal authorities would condemn the entire town of Chimney Rock and prohibit resettlement in order to commandeer a valuable lithium mine nearby.

False claims of blocked relief flights and aid withheld from Republicans

Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, X and SpaceX, posted that private relief flights to North Carolina were being blocked by the Federal Aviation Administration, a claim dismissed as false by Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Despite the tradition of Democrats and Republicans putting aside politics for disaster response, many conspiracy theories suggest Democrats such as President Joe Biden or North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper are intentionally withholding aid from Republicans. Trump has pushed the claim, as has North Carolina’s lieutenant governor, Mark Robinson, the embattled GOP nominee for governor.

“They’re being treated very badly in the Republican areas,” Trump told Fox News, ignoring reports and photo and video evidence of recovery efforts underway throughout the region. “They’re not getting water, they’re not getting anything.”

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones endorsed Trump’s fact-free allegation. Jones, the founder of InfoWars, popularized the idea that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut that killed 20 children in 2012 was faked. “Exclusive: Victims of Hurricane Helene Confirm The Federal Government is Purposely Blocking Rescuers and Stealing Aid In an Attempt to Keep Deep Red Areas From Voting,” Jones posted Thursday on X.

Disinformation campaigns by China and Russia amplify the misleading claims

State-run media and disinformation campaigns run by China and Russia have amplified false and misleading claims about the response to the storm. Both countries have used social media and state news stories to criticize responses to past U.S. natural disasters, part of a larger effort to stoke division and distrust among Americans.

State and local officials from both parties have condemned the conspiracy theories as rumors, saying the focus should be on recovery, not political division and hearsay. Responding to the hoaxes is taking up time that should go toward assisting victims, said North Carolina state Sen. Kevin Corbin, a Republican who urged his constituents not to give into hoaxes.

“Friends can I ask a small favor?” Corbin posted Thursday on Facebook. “Will you all help STOP this conspiracy theory junk that is floating all over Facebook and the internet... Please don’t let these crazy stories consume you.”

After Robinson, the GOP candidate for North Carolina governor, posted that state officials had not prepared for the storm, a spokesman for the governor accused Robinson of mounting “an online disinformation campaign.” North Carolina officials say the response to Helene is the largest in state history, including thousands of members of the National Guard and other recovery workers, millions of meals, dozens of aircraft and more than 1,000 chainsaws.

Trump has tried to tie the hurricane’s aftermath to immigration, a leading issue of his campaign. He falsely claimed that FEMA had run out of money because all of it had gone to programs for undocumented immigrants.

The agency’s funding for disaster aid is stretched, but that is because of the many parts of the country dealing with the effects of hurricanes, wildfires and other calamities. Disaster aid is funded separately from other Department of Homeland Security programs that support immigration-related spending.

Far-out tales of space lasers, fake snow and weather control technology

Bizarre stories proposing that the government used weather control technology to aim the hurricane at Republican voters quickly racked up millions of views on X and other platforms.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., endorsed the idea, posting Wednesday on X: “Yes they can control the weather. It’s ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done.”

Far-out tales of space lasers, fake snow and weather control technology -- sometimes tinged with antisemitism — have spread after recent natural disasters, including a snowstorm in Texas and last year’s wildfire in Maui.

Experts who study conspiracy theories say big events like disasters — or the Sept. 11 attacks or the COVID-19 pandemic — create perfect conditions for conspiracy theories to spread because large numbers of anxious people are eager to find explanations for shocking events.

Responding to the volume of false claims about Helene, the Red Cross urged people to consult trustworthy sources of information and to think twice before reposting conspiracy theories.

“Sharing rumors online without first vetting the source and verifying facts ultimately hurts people — people who have just lost their homes, neighborhoods, and, in some cases, loved ones,” the organization wrote in a public plea.
