I loved it. Corey and Trevor were almost like a test subject to see if it works. Some treats here, some training there maybe a blowjob or two maybe even a rimjob while Corey bows him at the same time.

Meghan is not trauma-bonded to Harry at all. She definitely has a victim narrative that he supports and buys into, but she’s also someone who, when she’s done, is completely done, over it, onto the next. That makes it much more likely for her to be the one to cut ties and move on if the option is there.

I’m working through a lot of classic noirs right now, what actors should I keep an eye out for as I move through crime and melodrama flicks?

i'm gonna assume you mean the character actors since i think the main guys are covered (but if not - bogart, the roberts (mitchum, ryan, montgomery), john garfield, glenn ford, and dick powell. there you go!). plus if we're being honest.... it's the That Guys that make a noir better or iconic. the maltese falcon is iconic because of peter and sydney and elisha just as much as it for bogie and mary astor #changemymind.

anyways. aside from the obvious answer of elisha cook jr., my favorite noir guys are dan motherfucking duryea (any noir he's in is good, even if it's bad, because he's always going to Show Up and Say His Damn Lines no matter what. this also goes for his westerns but you didn't ask me about that), raymond burr (when he's the heavy... god love him), laird cregar (when HE'S the heavy.....), RICHARD WIDMARK (the ULTIMATE That Guy), WENDELL COREY (the love of my freaking life), paul stewart (this guy has a face you just can't not recognize. also by listing him it will force you to watch kiss me deadly, a film i think all noir-seekers should watch if only because it will cause them to come back to me and go hey sydney what the fuck was that?), richard conte (pleeeeease please please watch the big combo), and lawrence tierney (again if only to make you watch born to kill so again you can come back to me and go hey sydney what the hell was that). oh and how could i forget.... hume cronyn (who is gay in the postman always rings twice and EVIL AND GAY in brute force (another movie full of That Guys btw)) as well as leon ames (who is also gay in the postman always rings twice).
