The line between public road and private driveway is thin and always shifting. The difficulty is that if you find yourself on a private county road, you will not be able to turn around. You will have to go wherever it leads and there is no telling where that might be. Do not try to turn off the road. What lies in the dark fields on either side is worse.

I love cornfields don't get me wrong but I get some primal fear inherited from ancestors who lost children and livestock in big fields of Polish corn whenever I step even one row into the corn, as if i was doing something wrong on such a primary level, not sure if illegal or dangerous or unholy
Mahatka isn't even a concern for me, it may shapeshift and do something to make small beings dissapear, like obviously but her reach is limited to Nierośno and adjecent villages in northeast Poland, but there's still the fear of if I go in too much ill just
Cease to be
Mazes are interesting and we have one in a village close by!

I feel bad for people who’ve never experienced a corn maze bc it’s not even fun but you just have to do it

Cornfields
read it on AO3 at https://ift.tt/l6qeDMH by senashenta Dean and Cas meet up in Colby, Kansas for a weekend of romance and sex and, well, corn. They spend MOST of their time together in their hotel room when they aren’t making periodic trips out for food, until Cas is scrolling on his phone and comes across an advertisement for a local corn maze, and they decide to check it out—a dicey prospect, as close to Halloween as they are. But the only unpleasant thing about the corn maze are the scarecrows—the creepy, creepy scarecrows—and the fact that they get HOPELESSLY LOST. (It gives them enough time to find an isolated corner of the maze and have a good SCREW, at least.) Part of the Horror High et al series. (SO smutty!) Words: 17862, Chapters: 1/1, Language: English Series: Part 5 of Horror High et al Fandoms: Supernatural (TV 2005) Rating: Explicit Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Categories: M/M Characters: Dean Winchester, Castiel (Supernatural) Relationships: Castiel/Dean Winchester Additional Tags: Young Dean Winchester, young human Castiel, Human Castiel (Supernatural), castiel novak - Freeform, Destiel - Freeform, NSFW, Not Suitable/Safe For Work, Not Beta Read, Sex, Smut, Anal Sex, Anal Fingering, Oral Sex, Blowjobs, Shower Sex, Fucking, fucking from behind, Making Love, Bottom Castiel/Top Dean Winchester, Top Dean Winchester, Bottom Castiel (Supernatural), Top Dean, Bottom Cas, White Kernel Inn, Colby Kansas, fall/autumn, Close to Halloween, There's a Fry Truck, With Amazing Food, Don't Feed The Seagulls Cas, That's Illegal In A Lot Of Places, So much corn, corn maze, Corn Maze That Is Much Harder Than Dean Anticipated, At Least The Proceeds Go To Charity, Screwing In A Corn Maze, Getting CAUGHT Screwing In A Corn Maze, Also Creepy Creepy Scarecrows, Maybe Lets' Not Do The Corn Maze Thing Again Yeah? read it on AO3 at https://ift.tt/l6qeDMH

2953. A Long, Traditional Illness
This is "A Long, Traditional Illness." Savageness happens simply.
Tumblr media
"All the cornfields are starting to get big again, you notice that?" she said.
"Are your hands cold?" I said, looking at her small blue hands wrapped around the half-eaten Blizzard.
"They're always cold—can't be helped," she said. "But I wonder why some cornfields get cut down and some of them just go bad."
"Huh?" I said.
"Some cornfields just go bad, they go yellow," she said. "They die. I wonder why they don't get cut down."
"Harvested," I said.
"What?"
"I said harvested."
"This thing is cold now," she said, holding out the Blizzard, trying to find a place to put it.
"Here, just give it to me," I said. I grabbed it from her, held it in my right hand as I drove. She tucked her hands into her big sweater, looked out the window.
We passed another cornfield in silence—the head of a deer poked through the stalks, gnawing a fresh ear. The silence lingered. For many years after.
