When you're stuck with a line up of machines that demand attention, who do you leave all your workload to? The only fool who can't seem to say no, not even to save her own life.

It's even more tough when you're the odd one out, the newbie, or—plainly, desperately trying to fit in.

That's Melissa's predicament, that's exactly what lead her to leaving at an ungodly hour. It's exactly what's lead her to having to settle for a convenience store meal. To begin with, it wasn't like she was going to do much cooking as soon as she got to her so-brand-new-it's-technically-empty apartment.

Right, the only thing waiting at home were... boxes. And boxes. And even more boxes piled on top of even more boxes that clearly had FRAGILE written all over it.

(Of course, she didn't bother to speak up on that, either.)

What was she here for, again? Dinner. Right, dinner. At least the combini here isn't packed to the brim with nothing but junk food, upon closer examination to the fridges, she finds a pretty decent variety of food—most on discount, after all, it is late. Most of these things will be thrown out if they stay here.

Just as her basket is decently filled with anything that caught her eye (call that a balanced meal), Melissa turns and drags her feet towards the register. Except she doesn't even make it there, the only thing she feels as she walks with her eyes half-closed is a bump, and the loss of balance, she can't even throw her arms back to stop her fall—she's left waiting for the inevitable to happen—except it doesn't.

Turns out the inevitable was... well, actually more evitable than she would've thought.

"... Huh? W-What?" It still hasn't registered. When she properly opens her eyes, she almost wishes she hadn't. This is mortifying. In fact, she's starting to wish he had just let her fall, and maybe then it would've been less embarrassing.

"N-No! No, I'm sorry, I didn't see where I was going... it's my fault."

i dont blame dmmds visualizers like idk when they were made in relation to each other but theres a lot of songs to make visualizers for so i understand them being more simple

but also because of 1) how dmmds songs are 2) its scale

dmmd has songs for each character so they cant use cgs from across the game like how togainu does it. togainus songs are for ending TYPES not specific characters meanjng they have access to almost every cg when dmmd has to keep it to one character like you cant use a noiz cg in Tears yknow

sweet pools visualizers are so good because of how small sweet pool is in every way. its cast is small, its a short game, its world is small meaning they can put their effort into portraying characters emotions and the tone of the story more. with dmmd you'd have to portray all the things like scrap, rhyme, platinum jail, the tech etc and thats a lot more and a lot harder

i put curriculumachine higher up even when its only effects are shaky cam and strobe lights because it fits the energy so well

what separates it from just feeling like a cg slideshow is that it matchrs up with the music and keeps the energy which is important for me

other things, ai catch is so low because 70% of it is just the ai catch op vid and the original stuff is bad whereas i put cosmocall field higher because while a good amount of it is the original cosmocall field vid the original stuff feels like thwres more effort put in + overall feels natural

the "funny as shite" tier is because some of the cg transition are really funny

id maybe put holo ghost higher but them running out of cgs is very funny

all of them serve their purpose as visualizer like they arwnt meant to be full music videos, theyre just there to be put on in the background, so they all work but i love seeing the songs i love be presented like this and when they really encapsulate the feelings behind them i think its something to appreciate

I like how the moment I decide to come back to this site Tumblr decides to become the Internt Inquisition.
