AND I SAW THE AWESOMEST KID IN THE WINDOWS PRACTICING QUADS IN THEIR MASK AND TAIL

Genuinely rhey made me feel excited and happy because they were being unapologetically themself in SUCH a high-traffic area so I waved to them and was giving the hyperest thumbs-ups I could manage and the SMILE on this kid's face- AUHGH.

Therians, correct me if I'm wrong, but if a huge group of alterhumans met up like let's say a furrycon would at a hotel and had multiple events and a version of Artist Alley, would it be appropriate to call it a convention? Or would that add to the stigmatization that Alterhumanity is some sort of Fandom rather than identity and community?
