POINTERS introduction
#include <iostream> using namespace std; int main(){ /* int n = 5; cout << n << endl; output: 5 */
// is for a comment line and /**/ is for multiple line comments //I make it like this so you can paste it immediately into a compiler //variable - &address - *pointers. //START //just like variable, a pointer is a container as well, storing an address (a memory location) //n is a variable meaning that it is a container storing certain value //because it's a container, it has it's address inside the memory, a physical location //in order to check the location / which address :
/* int n = 5; cout << &n << endl; output: 006FFD64 */
//because it's not always fun to remember long address numbers, so we give them names - variables. we create a pointer to name an address and easily access it.
//POINTERS //how to create a pointer holding address of our n variable:
int n = 5; cout << &n << endl;int* ptr = &n; cout << ptr <<endl; //in order to indicate that you're creating a pointer, use * star (int*) //then give it a random name (ptr) //assign it (to ptr) the address of our n variable which is = &n (= assign)(& address)(n variable) cout << *ptr << endl; // a star * before the pointer's name will only reference the pointer and then find the VALUE of the ADDRESS //which is our original variable n //basically we're asking for the value 5, not the address 006FFD64 //CHANGE THE VALUE (5) stored in the pointer ptr address: *ptr = 10 ; //a star * means access the memory location and (=)assign a NEW (10) value //let's check if it's now 10 instead of 5 cout << *ptr <<endl; cout << n ; //both *ptr and n now show 10
//NOTES //pointer has to be of the SAME TYPE as the variable it is pointing to //int pointer to int variable, not int to float //char pointer to char variable, bool pointer to a bool variable, etc //you can't assign a value to a pointer, it has to point to an address //first create a (example) variable to store that variable's & address to the pointer //pointers are problem solvers and not the casual way it's used in these examples system("pause>0"); return 0; }

FRIENDS! PLURALS!
This review regarding non-disordered plurality was just published September 12, 2023 - and better still, it focuses on the voices of those with lived multiplicity experiences, not just professionals' opinions & observations! (AND it's free access!)
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/cpp.2910?fbclid=PAAaYA2EcZAxCD7cDTUWhV93l1pCsh9ovJMddm5oZ8_V1-PQ7pjum3K4AxhEo
Some highlights:
...DID is characterized as having ‘two or more distinct personality states’, in addition to gaps in memory recall, which cause significant distress to the individual (Reinders & Veltman, 2021, p. 1). Comparably, multiplicity describes the experience of being more than one self and is not a diagnosis. Multiplicity is associated with a lack of distress, and impairment in functioning, and often does not involve amnesia between selves; however, some people who experience multiplicity have received a diagnosis such as DID or OSDD (Young Voices Study, 2021). Due to the heterogeneity of dissociative experiences, multiplicity can encompass various presentations as described in this review.
...prevalence rates of multiplicity-spectrum conditions are difficult to extrapolate due to limited reporting and identification, although suspected to be between 4.6% and 46% (Loewenstein, 2018). Indeed, Ross et al. (2002) acknowledged many individuals do not meet clinical criteria as a result of a lack of negative impairment; however, they do align with other descriptors of dissociative experiences. Thus, there is a need to understand the wide spectrum of experiences multiplicity encompasses to consider how an awareness of multiplicity can exist outside of an illness model, reducing stigma and thus stigma related distress surrounding multiplicity (Eve & Parry, 2021; Parry et al., 2017).
...there remains a paucity of understanding surrounding multiplicity-spectrum experiences, especially for people who identify as multiple but for whom multiple selves do not cause functional difficulties in day-to-day life. For people who experience the presence of inner multiplicity but do not suffer distressing consequences from their multiplicity experience, they can feel misaligned, misinterpreted and overlooked by the medicalization of their inner world.
The findings of this review support the notion that multiplicity experiences are complex and varied, existing across a continuum inclusive of multiplicity, DID and derealization–depersonalization (Sar, 2011).
This is huge! So cool to see these perspectives and some scientific literature surrounding non-disordered plurality!

joy of life season 2 episodes 25/26, in which there's a cdrama wedding and somehow NO ONE dies or even really threatens violence???? (miracles)
okay li yunrui's black dress is STUNNING i am OBSESSED
i still want to know so much more about lyr. what's her ultimate goal? how did she get here? is she actually conspiring with the emperor as evidenced by the whole bringing down of the prime minister thing? i just wanna know
umm...this nonchalantly emotional moment between fan xian and cpp ("i lost my family a long time ago" "you still have me") is the first time that i am considering that...cpp is going to die? at some point someone else important to fx is going to die and it makes heartbreakingly huge sense for it to be the guy who's mentored him all this time and without whom fx will literally be by himself against the emperor
this entire scene between wan'er and her mom...see above re: i just wanna know!!!
omg pleeeeeease let ruoruo go study with ku he! that would make her and duoduo sect sisters!! I NEED THIS SO BADLY
i think fx truly spends a good portion of his time imagining a variety of ways to kill the crown and second princes, ranging from realistically devastating to loony tunes-level silly
i'm literally crying over ruoruo walking out with wan'er
y'all i am NOT a wedding person, i have suffered through too many bridesmaid horrorshows to enjoy all the pageantry but i am a mess watching this rn. dabao reminding about the commitment to family. fan xian asking stepmom to sit in the mother's place. fan jian trying not to cry. ruoruo being the one directing the rites. like...there is no death scene that can make me cry this much, is there?
LING'ER STOP HE IS EVIL. cmon girl you're smarter than that
the brothers being creepy omg. like in a funny way but also BOYS let them fuck in peace my god
wu zhu!!!!!! your timing isn't great but this is probably better than him popping up in the middle of consummation
so someone is either hacking into wu zhu's hard drive or there's another automaton out there??
brb crying again over the stars thing and the rings
omg now wan'er has me crying again with her little speech to wang qinian
this is all lovely, everyone's happy, nothing more to see here, let's end it now and send everyone home, sound good?
wild theory: have we established whether or not anyone actually saw ye qingmei's body? could she still be out there somewhere, alive?
it's a cartoon theme song, i'm dying over here
tbh i was really ready for things to go sideways at the wedding and i'm so relieved they didn't. we deserve that bit of happiness. and now we can focus on learning more about fx's mom and lyr and wu zhu and how we got here in the first place, maybe?

Hello! I hope you don't mind this ask, you're just the first pro-endo sys I've found that has given reliable sources as proof of non-traumagenic systems existing. I saw a link to an article but mobile tumblr kinda sucks and I can't find more in your posts, would you mind giving me some? (Totally okay if not, I understand /gen)
As someone with self-diagnosed OSDD1b, I was immediately inserted in anti-endo spaces and ngl, didn't even try interacting with endos. You're making me think I and the people who used to be around me were wrong and that I should reconsider many things. So thanks!
Hi! This is actually incredibly humbling to us. We actually thought this was sent to our main and had a good laugh when we realized it was to our shitposting blog lmfao so I'm glad this blog is at least doing some good!
Anyways, yes! I'm not sure which sources you saw me share so let me just share the ones I already have on hand.
There's this one that's pinned to @korya-elana's blog which I believe is the largest and most recent study: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/cpp.2910?fbclid=PAAaYA2EcZAxCD7cDTUWhV93l1pCsh9ovJMddm5oZ8_V1-PQ7pjum3K4AxhEo
There this post by @guardianssystem which is just an incredible wealth of resources about endogenic recognition (although disclaimer, we have not been through all of them yet): https://www.tumblr.com/guardianssystem/732772365744979968?source=share
And then there's this post by @sysmedsaresexist, who recently turned away from the anti-endo label and they're just generally a really excellent resource for debunking myths and misinformation in syscourse as a whole: https://www.tumblr.com/sysmedsaresexist/750286600085372928/excuse-me-what-the-actual-fuck-did-you-just?source=share
Thank you very much for being so willing to consider another viewpoint! This is exactly what syscourse is lacking right now and it's really encouraging to see that some people are still so open minded and curious to learn.

Celebrate 56 years of people’s resistance against imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat capitalism!
Robert Reid | Chairperson FFPS
Friends of the Filipino People in Struggle (FFPS) congratulates the Filipino people on the 56th anniversary of the founding of the New People’s Army (NPA).
The New People’s Army (NPA) stands in a long tradition of Filipino people’s armed resistance for national liberation from colonial and neocolonial domination. This tradition spans from the Katipunan’s struggle against Spanish colonial rule to the Hukbalahap’s fight against Japanese occupation and later Philippine regimes subservient to the US. The NPA itself was born out of these lessons during the First Great Rectification Movement. This movement, led by the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), aimed to address the shortcomings of previous revolutionary efforts. By learning from both the positive aspects and the mistakes, the NPA sought to build a stronger and more sustainable armed resistance movement.
In its 56 years of waging revolution, the NPA has shown itself to be a true people’s army, embodying the principle of serving the people. Unlike the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) the NPA is not just a military force, but also helps the Filipino people as a force for production, education, culture, medical services, justice, organizing and much more. Most of its red fighters and commanders were landless peasants who joined to liberate themselves from perpetual poverty, exploitation and state violence. Besides defending the people from attacks, the NPA arouses, organizes and mobilizes the peasant masses to carry forward the revolutionary struggle and the NDFP’s 12 point program for a just and lasting peace. The fighting Filipino masses unite to resist, defend and liberate themselves from imperialist and feudal oppression and exploitation.
Today the NPA, along with the entire revolutionary movement, is undertaking the third rectification movement in order to overcome mistakes and weaknesses in order to continue advancing the revolution towards victory. In this light, the units of the NPA have intensified their initiative in expanding and deepening their links with the masses, and in defending them from the fascist terror of the AFP.
As the red fighters and commanders of the NPA, the revolutionary movement, and the Filipino people are militantly working towards the advance of the revolution, let us also be militantly working towards supporting the Filipino people in their struggle for national and social liberation! We invite all internationalist, anti-imperialist and progressive people of the world to study and support the Philippine revolution and to join and participate in the activities of FFPS: https://ffps.info/join-us/
Long live the New People’s Army!
Long live the fighting Filipino masses!

Ethnolinguistics (sometimes called cultural linguistics) is an area of anthropological linguistics that studies the relationship between a language or group of languages and the cultural behavior of the people who speak those languages. It examines how different cultures conceptualize and categorize their experiences, such as spatial orientation and environmental phenomena. Ethnolinguistics incorporates methods like ethnosemantics, which analyzes how people classify and label their world, and componential analysis, which dissects semantic features of terms to understand cultural meanings. The field intersects with cultural linguistics to investigate how language encodes cultural schemas and metaphors, influencing areas such as intercultural communication and language learning.

A historian is a person who studies and writes about the past and is regarded as an authority on it. Historians are concerned with the continuous, methodical narrative and research of past events as relating to the human race; as well as the study of all history in time. Some historians are recognized by publications or training and experience. "Historian" became a professional occupation in the late nineteenth century as research universities were emerging in Germany and elsewhere.

Philippine indigenous communities recognize a woman (or man) as a Babaylan, someone who has the ability to mediate with the spirit world, has her own spirit guides, and is given gifts of healing, foretelling, and insight. She may also have knowledge of healing therapies such as hilot, arbularyo.

The New People's Army, abbreviated NPA or BHB, is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines. It acts as the CPP's principal organization, aiming to consolidate political power from what it sees as the present "bourgeois reactionary puppet government" and to aid in the "people's democratic revolution".

natural disaster is the very harmful impact on a society or community after a natural hazard event. Some examples of natural hazard events include avalanches, droughts, earthquakes, floods, heat waves, landslides, tropical cyclones, volcanic activity and wildfires. Additional natural hazards include blizzards, dust storms, firestorms, hails, ice storms, sinkholes, thunderstorms, tornadoes and tsunamis. A natural disaster can cause loss of life or damage property. It typically causes economic damage. How bad the damage is depends on how well people are prepared for disasters and how strong the buildings, roads, and other structures are. Scholars have been saying that the term natural disaster is unsuitable and should be abandoned. Instead, the simpler term disaster could be used. At the same time the type of hazard would be specified. A disaster happens when a natural or human-made hazard impacts a vulnerable community. It results from the combination of the hazard and the exposure of a vulnerable society.

The history of the Philippines from 1565 to 1898 is known as the Spanish colonial period, during which the Philippine Islands were ruled as the Captaincy General of the Philippines within the Spanish East Indies, initially under the Viceroyalty of New Spain, based in Mexico City, until the independence of the Mexican Empire from Spain in 1821. This resulted in direct Spanish control during a period of governmental instability there.
The first documented European contact with the Philippines was made in 1521 by Ferdinand Magellan in his circumnavigation expedition, during which he was killed in the Battle of Mactan. Forty-four years later, a Spanish expedition led by Miguel López de Legazpi left modern Mexico and began the Spanish conquest of the Philippines in the late 16th century. Legazpi's expedition arrived in the Philippines in 1565, a year after an earnest intent to colonize the country, which was during the reign of Philip II of Spain, whose name has remained attached to the country.
The Spanish colonial period ended with the defeat of Spain by the United States in the Spanish–American War and the Treaty of Paris on December 10, 1898, which marked the beginning of the American colonial era of Philippine history.

The history of the Philippines is deeply marked by colonial experiences that have shaped its identity, culture, and socio-political landscape. The concept of Pantayong Pananaw, which encourages a Filipino-centered perspective, has significantly transformed the study of Philippine history. By challenging colonial narratives, it reclaims Filipino agency and restores the rich, indigenous knowledge and practices that were marginalized during the Spanish and American periods. This shift in perspective has brought to light the complex systems of governance, trade, and social structures that existed in pre-colonial Philippine societies, particularly in the barangay system and the leadership of the Datu and Rajah.
The Spanish period, marked by Libre Comercio and the rise of Escuela Normal, saw significant changes in the Philippine economy and education. While the Galleon Trade*and the relihiyoso wielded significant control over both economic and religious life, these changes also laid the foundation for future resistance. The Galleon Trade, which connected the Philippines to global markets, benefited Spanish elites but did little to improve the living conditions of ordinary Filipinos. Meanwhile, the Escuele Normal served as a tool for spreading Spanish culture and reinforcing colonial rule. Despite this, the period also sowed the seeds for Filipino identity and resistance, which would later fuel revolutionary movements.
Revolutions, like the 1896 Philippine Revolution and the 1986 People Power Revolution, were defining moments in Filipino nationalism. These revolutions underscored the Filipino people's desire for unity, independence, and democracy, fostering a spirit of resistance against foreign domination. Today, the echoes of these struggles remain relevant as Filipinos continue to confront challenges such as corruption, political divisions, and economic inequality.
The Philippine experience under both American and Japanese occupations left indelible scars on its national consciousness. The American occupation reinforced a colonial mentality, while the brutalities of Japan’s wartime atrocities, such as the exploitation of comfort women, reminded Filipinos of the horrors of imperialism. These historical injustices continue to affect national identity and contribute to ongoing social issues, such as systemic inequalities.
Reflecting on these key terms Philippine English, agrarian reform, the CPP-NPA, and natural disasters has deepened understanding of how these factors shape the Philippines' socio-political landscape. Philippine English symbolizes both cultural adaptation and neocolonial influence, while agrarian reformremains central to the fight for social justice. The CPP-NPAcontinues to resist the socio-economic disparities that persist in the country, while natural disastersexacerbate existing vulnerabilities, often becoming political catalysts. The journey towards a more just and resilient Philippine society remains challenging but necessary, calling for comprehensive policy reforms and active participation from all sectors of society.

Hi !! 😵💫
Today, as for some past days, I started the day with a leetcode problem, I like this approach. I'm aiming to get better at these kinda of code problems, so starting the day with It releases a weight from me.
Also I'm happy because It's the second day that my solution is almost the same from the solution of other users :)
I did some problems with js, but for what I saw, the best language for this is cpp, so I'll practice my cpp again.
I'm starting to study a front-end framework, the one I choose, at least for hour, was nextjs + reactjs, idk, I don't wanna think too much In with one to choose, I just want to learn one, and then probably the knowledge will be useful to any framework. And react is the most used by the market 😅😭.
That's it for today, I also did some css styling for a project but, no big deal.

Communist Party of the Philippines | December 16, 2023
We mark today the first anniversary of the passing away of our ever dearest comrade Jose Maria Sison, founding chair of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines, and great communist leader of the Philippine revolution.
We celebrate his revolutionary life and great contributions to the theory of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism through its practical application on the concrete conditions of Philippine society and in waging national democratic revolution.
We will forever treasure the legacy of theoretical and practical work that Ka Joma bequeathed the Party to help guide the new generation of revolutionary proletarian cadres and Party members and Filipino revolutionary fighters, as they wage life and death class struggle to overthrow the reign of those who exploit and oppress the broad masses of the Filipino people.
Through his body of work, Ka Joma defined the revolutionary landscape in the Philippines for over five decades. Several generations of Party cadres and leaders, Red commanders and fighters of the New People’s Army and revolutionaries and activists looked up to Ka Joma’s leadership and sought guidance from his insightful Marxist-Leninist-Maoist analysis.
The program for a people’s democratic revolution or national democracy, which Ka Joma first elaborated, represents a complete break from the now 77 year history of semicolonial and semifeudal system in the Philippines. It seeks to realize the Filipino people’s aspiration for national and social liberation which have inspired thousands of uprisings throughout three centuries of colonial and semicolonial subjugation.
Ka Joma’s work remains ever relevant, modern and future-proof, in contrast to the official bourgeois liberal, neoliberal, and anti-communist ideas promoted by the reactionary state that represents the moribund system that is way beyond its time. His sharp analysis of the backward feudal and semifeudal, agrarian and non-industrial conditions of the semicolonial and semifeudal system remains key in understanding the necessity of waging a people’s democratic revolution.
Since his death, a campaign to study the works of Ka Joma has been carried out within the Party and among the organizations and movements which has has inspired. Key works of the Ka Joma, including Struggle for National Democracy, Philippine Society and Revolution, Rectify Errors and Rebuild the Party, Specific Characteristics of Our People’s War, Our Urgent Tasks, Reaffirm our Basic Principles, Stand for Socialism against Modern Revisionism and many others, are being circulated in print and digital form. Ka Joma’s Five Volume set of books are being promoted and translated to local languages.
The work of Ka Joma continues to serve as guide to the Party and Philippine revolution. His theoretical writings remain ever crucial in the ideological, political and organizational building of the Party, waging armed struggle through extensive and intensive guerrilla warfare, carrying forward the revolutionary mass movement in both the cities and countryside, as well as in conducting peace negotiations with the co-belligerent Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP).
His legacy continues to serve as source of inspiration and guidance for the Central Committee and all leading committees of the CPP. Proletarian revolutionary cadres continue to lead the New People’s Army in waging mass struggles and continue to strike deep and wide roots among the masses to lead their struggles. Presently, the Party is at the core of the broad united front that is being built against the US-Marcos regime.
The revolutionary work of Ka Joma will continue to inspire future generations of Filipino youth. The resounding call to wage national democratic revolution touches on their deep longing for a society that is free from oppression and exploitation.
