I honestly wanted and tried to draw skylanders like movesets for other characters but it's been quite difficult but now I managed to make some for the portalmaster player & Isabelle inspiring to theirs from super smash bros.

What do you think?

For Joshua the PM, who isn't a skylander but even he may have learned moves the same way and to me who wants a game without toys-to-life :

1)punches; 2)umbrella like in SSB; 3)the shield from SL items;

-balloons like in smash; throwing stuff but from portals and not pockets;

-the balloon exploding (didn't think about anything else);

the paths: A) Knighty style since his father was a blacksmith & cut wood so he learns to use the axe from the game and does "TIMBER" like Bushwack.

B) Magical attacks like any Portalmaster can manage (almost) as you see I used the staff from imaginators and the gobble parodizing the potted PiranHa plant.

As WOW-POW here's something that is controversial for good and bad PMs, while Kaos in the Skaletones showdown says "Total destruction" I thought a nice portalmaster may say intead "Elemental reinbow" and do the attack lightcore version toys do.

For Isabelle, who wanted to join battles because she's in love with the player villager as many fans like to say:

1) toy hammer from tortimer isles; 2)dash attack ; 3) balloon jump even for her;

- slingshot with the 3rd button; -using a fishing rod like in SSB;

- while she dashes on 4 legs she jumps and does a shock wave;

the paths: A) physical attack path where she uses all her strenght and a little help from an old friend.

B) Tools path where she uses objects as weapons plus some ironic humor.

As WOW-POW she summons a balloon hanged present box like in her game but very large and heavy, the bombardment for the enemy.

I thought about making a parody of the gameplay grid from Undertale & Deltarune so here's one with Skylanders.

I used icons from character cards of the game and some fan-made element symbols, what do you think if SL had this style and the option of spare the enemies? In this case unlike Deltarune choices wouldn't really matter in fights but wouldn't be nice if common enemies from Skylands could befriended?

Geary and Planet Teknee

Geary is a robot from Teknee and is Velo's most trusted and fastest racer, he his described to be the pinnacle of robotics, Geary has the belief that only robots achieve perfection and motion, however he also suffers from a form a OCD, having the urge to clean everything that's filthy or dirty

After losing, Velo will yell at him for failing and punishes him by ordering him to clean the trophy podium and the entire coliseum

If playing as Team Bandicoot, Geary will clean and scrub Crash

If playing as Team Cortex, Geary will clean and scrub Tiny

Teknee is a futuristic like planet with advanced technology everywhere such as flying cars, floating signs and trains

Assembly Lane is a polluted factory with conveyer belts, pistons, pipes, oil spills, tractor beams and a giant magnetic device, the outdoor sections are similar to Glacier Park's Tiny Arena while the indoor sections are similar to Citadel City's N. Gin Labs

Android Alley is a futuristic city with trains and flying cars in the background, there's also Cleaning Bots and Cortex's robotic Scrubbers, the strategy guide describes the course like an action movie, this is also Geary's boss track who will use a Soap Sprinkler as a weapon

Electron Avenue is a hyper advanced neon light city in the sky, with large skyscrapers, neon signs, flying vehicles, electric fences, and holographic plants and cactuses the city has synthwave aesthetic

Geary would later return as one of Cortex's henchmen and with a new more red design

Rewatching the first few episodes of fhjy because i guess i have nothing better to do and the way you can see how kibblespilly was supposed to be a counter to riz is so fucking funny. Its all there from the very beginning- the attitude, the tactics, the way she interacts with the party and everything- this is supposed to be riz's counterpart to run against him for student body president and have a terrible battle of wits and barbs

But in a twist that is perhaps THE most befitting to her ideal story of running against the boy she chose to be her antagonist, the intrepid heroes just straight up not taking the bait resulting in her instead having to go toe to toe against her idealized perfect rival's aggressive near-flunkie unsubtle chaotic friend is SO FUNNY.

Like I know some people are disappointed we dont get the riz vs kipperlily presidential whatever, I know it doesnt make tons of sense in that specific narrative way. But the fucking hilarious meta that even this didnt go her way is so funny. Because instead of rogue sneaking and behind the shadows plays and spy vs spy shit, we have just outward schoolyard taunts and shit like kristen exploding and jumping over the school and the exact kind of play that baits kipperlily into rage every single time and its so fucking funny. Kristen runs naked through the school and does party stunts and is STILL BEATING HER. She even clearly constructed her party to mirror the bad kids perfectly and craft each of them their own nemesis/counterpart and for the most part it like kind of worked EXCEPT FOR HER.

It must drive her fucking crazy that her cute little plot of rogue vs rogue didnt pan out at fucking all despite ALL the signs pointing to that making the most sense. This was something she just couldnt predict, couldnt mastermind. She got up onto that metaphorical stage for a debate and instead was met with a clowning act. Its so funny. I love fantasy high. Nothing you could have done would have changed this, fourdogs. You never had any power at all.
