I've been kinda obsessed with their relationship since the pilot, and now with the series release the brainrot came back full force lol. There is something about the dynamic between two very different personalities and worldviews and how they clash in a romantic setting that is SO appealing to me. Especially if one of the parties involved has some weird psychosexual relationship with the other (my little headcanon), while they remain oblivious to their own feelings. Not to mention the naive vs manipulator or predator/prey dynamic, chefs kiss imo, although I completely understand why this darker perspective of the pairing is sometimes not well received haha.

On that note, shout-out to the fic "Penance" by kinkydents on AO3 for having my absolutely favorite characterization of these two, they have my deepest gratitude and most of my current brainworms <3<3.

Edit: This was my first charlastor drawing and the second time I drew Al, and because of that I wanted to make a tweaked version that is just a little different and shows somewhat the way I draw Alastor now, so Charlie is practically the same as in the original ｡⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠｡ (this was my first time drawing her!) This is entirely self-indulgent ╮⁠(⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)⁠╭

I know Charlie seems more of a yapper sometimes (I think) and I'm curious if Alastor is one too because, at least in the show, when he is not trying to put up a performance for whatever reason he seems somewhat subdued, I guess? I dunno, maybe it is to keep him mysterious for now or to make the moments he does open his mouth more meaningful (?) Perhaps he does yap more in the comics, but I haven't read them yet ╮⁠(⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)⁠╭
